If the vehicle or the appointment changes

A metro station is a landmark and not an address, so give the property entrance. Do not assume a gate rule, a lift or a society's hours. Ask the building office.
The Mumbai pickup brief
The Delhi end needs a receiving brief, and the Mumbai end needs a similar one. "Mumbai" on a quote can mean South Mumbai, the western or central suburbs, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar or Kalyan-Dombivli. Distance, route and delivery time
Use about 1,350–1,500 km as a road-planning range. One city-to-city navigation alignment is approximately 1,355 km via NE4. The loading suburb, Delhi/NCR endpoint and selected truck alignment determine the actual distance; packing, departure coordination and receiving arrangements add time beyond the drive.
A traditional western corridor can head through Gujarat and Rajasthan toward Delhi, while the selected expressway alignment may differ. NH48 and NE4 are different road designations, and a route can use segments of either or neither, so no single highway describes the whole journey. Mark any route-related cost, such as tolls, as included or extra in the quote. Confirm the selected route and cost assumptions with the transport contact.
Counting the days
- Dedicated vehicle: about 3–5 days, counted from dispatch after loading is finished.

It suits a full home, bulky furniture or a fixed handover day, and the dispatch date and the receiving appointment can be built around your building's slot. If another vehicle is allocated later, reconfirm entry, access and the receiving appointment.
Few items and student moves
A student or a professional with only a few boxes can use a part load. As a budget guide, a few items cost about ₹11,000 to ₹18,000 on this route. Send a list with rough sizes, and expect the 5 to 8 day planning estimate including consolidation. For a hostel or a shared flat, give the full address, the floor and a named person to receive the cartons. How to keep a Mumbai to Delhi move within budget
Compare the total for the same work, including tolls, stairs and any Delhi transfer. These choices can reduce the work or give you a more suitable transport arrangement:
- Carry less. Compare the extra packing and transport cost of an item with the cost of a suitable replacement in Delhi, then decide what to leave out.

Prepare each appliance as its own manual says. A model that uses transit bolts has them fitted before it travels, removed before anyone switches it on, and stored afterward for the next move. If the receiving date, keys or vehicle changes
Keep a backup receiving plan for changes after departure. Decide who can authorise revised work and how the new arrangement will be recorded.
- If the building cannot take the goods that day, decide whether the vehicle waits, the goods go into storage, or the delivery is redated.
- If the keys are late, name a receiver who can open the door, and agree whether the vehicle waits and how waiting is charged.
- If the proposed vehicle cannot be used, agree the replacement, whether a transfer or a carry is needed, who handles it, and at what cost.
