The cards below explain what each service covers and what stays with you, so you can compare quotes on the same work.

Household Shifting Services

For families and individuals moving a home within a city or to another city. We survey the inventory, pack it, load it, transport it and unload it at your new home, then place furniture in the rooms you choose.

Good to know: air conditioners, geysers, water purifiers and wall-mounted TVs need a qualified technician. That work is quoted separately.

CARS AND TWO-WHEELERS

Car and Bike Transport

For moving a car, bike or scooter, on its own or with your household goods. The vehicle is assessed by model and condition, then moved on a suitable carrier.

Condition report with photos and the odometer reading at handover
Copies of the RC and insurance; you keep the originals
Fuel, battery and EV charge prepared as the maker and carrier operator advise
Collection and delivery points agreed in the quote

Good to know: the carrier type depends on the vehicle and on availability, and is stated in your quote. Vehicles follow the carrier's own dates, so they may not arrive on the same day as your household goods. Do not leave luggage inside.

Office and Corporate Relocation

For offices moving workstations, chairs, storage units, files and IT equipment. The move is planned from an asset list, scheduled around both buildings' permitted hours, and placed desk by desk at the new site.

Storage and Warehousing

For when your new home is not ready, keys are delayed, or you need to store goods during a renovation or a period away. Storage is arranged on request and subject to availability.

Location, custodian and access arrangements confirmed in writing
Duration, charges and notice needed for release agreed in advance
Item count recorded when goods go in and when they come out
Redelivery window and charge stated in the quote

Good to know: declare food, liquids and anything damp before booking storage. Clean and dry appliances and fabrics, and confirm the storage provider’s acceptance rules.

Packing and Unpacking

Book packing as part of your agreed household moving scope, or enquire about packing alone if you are arranging transport yourself. Materials are chosen for each item rather than one standard wrap for everything.

Loading and Unloading

For when you have packed yourself or hired your own vehicle and need a crew to load or unload. The crew size depends on the volume, the floors and the path to the vehicle.

Loading planned so heavy items sit low and fragile cartons stay on top

Good to know: transport is not included unless added. Cartons you packed yourself are recorded with a condition note at handover. Items too large for the lift or stairs are assessed before the move, not hoisted over balconies by default.

Interstate Relocation

For moves between cities and states. You can choose a dedicated vehicle for your goods only, or a shared load, which can cost less for smaller volumes but takes longer.

Dispatch and delivery dates given separately in writing

Good to know: ask whether the stated window is a planning estimate or a commitment in your accepted booking, and when its clock starts. Road conditions and building access can affect estimates; any agreed booking commitments still matter. Used household goods are generally exempt from the e-way bill requirement, but new goods, stock or business assets may need one.

Reading These Guides

Home size is a rough guide only. A fully furnished 1 BHK can need more space and labour than a sparsely furnished 2 BHK.
The vehicle, crew size and packing materials are decided from your survey, not fixed by home size.
The low and high ends of a range reflect volume and access. They are not separate prices for shared and dedicated transport.
For long routes, the route page for your cities and your written quote matter more than the 1,000+ km column.
Packing is counted once. An itemised packing line should not be added to the total a second time.
Applicable GST is shown on your quote and invoice. Transit cover, crating, holding, stairs without a usable lift, long carry and tolls are listed separately unless the quote includes them.

PACKING MATERIALS

How We Choose Packing for Each Item

Good packing means choosing the right material for each item, not putting the same layers on everything. These are the materials we use, matched to your inventory at the survey.

Soft Inner Layer

Paper, foam or blankets against polished wood, lacquer, leather and painted surfaces, to keep tape and film off delicate finishes.

Cushioning

Bubble wrap or foam around crockery, glassware, electronics and decor, with gaps filled so nothing moves inside the carton.

Corrugated Protection

Corrugated sheets and corner guards around appliances, table legs, bed frames and furniture edges.

Outer Stretch Film

Film over the soft layer to keep dust out and hold wrapping in place. Film alone is not a guarantee against rain. Discuss sheltered loading and unloading, protection at both gates and the plan if heavy rain interrupts the move.

Wooden Crates When Needed

Glass tops, large mirrors, marble mandirs, chandeliers and artwork are assessed for a crate. Crating is listed in the quote, including whether it is included or extra.

Documents for Employer and Government Transfer Claims

If your employer or department reimburses the move, check its relocation rules before you book. Many ask for particular documents, a set number of quotes or approval in advance. GST registration is not the same as IBA approval, so ask your employer what it requires and confirm with us before booking which of these documents can be provided for your move.

HOW A MOVE RUNS

From Survey to Delivery in Four Steps

Step 01

Survey and Written Quote

A video or in-person survey records your inventory, floors, lifts and parking at both addresses. You receive a written quote listing what is included, what is charged separately, the transport mode and the dates.

Step 02

Packing and Inventory

Items are packed with materials chosen for each one. Every carton is numbered and labelled by room, and you check and sign the inventory and carton count at loading.

Step 03

Transport and Updates

Goods travel by the agreed mode. You receive updates from the named contact at the points agreed in your quote, with dispatch and delivery dates confirmed separately for shared loads.

Step 04

Unloading and Handover

Goods are unloaded and placed in the rooms you choose, with agreed reassembly and unpacking done. Count cartons against the inventory and note any damage or shortage on the delivery record before you sign.

Before booking any mover, compare quotes on the same inventory, access and service scope. Check that the GSTIN and business name match, agree how changes are approved and keep a receipt for each payment. Frequently Asked Questions About Our Moving Services

What GST applies to packers and movers services?

The GST rate depends on how the services you book are classified and invoiced. For example, transport-only hire can be treated differently from a full move with packing and handling. Your quote and GST invoice show the rate that applies to your booking. If your business wants to claim input tax credit, check eligibility with your accountant using the invoice details.

Can you provide documents for government, bank or company transfer claims?

For a booked move, we can usually provide the consignment note, a GST tax invoice, a signed itemised inventory, payment receipts and the transit cover document if you chose cover. Employers and departments set their own requirements, so check your relocation rules first and tell us before booking if you need any other document, so we can confirm whether it can be arranged.

What is the difference between transit cover and the carrier's responsibility?

Without cover, responsibility for loss or damage is set by the agreed terms, the consignment note and applicable law. Transit cover is optional and is arranged with a cover provider. The provider's policy decides what is covered, what is excluded, the premium and how claims are settled. Read those terms and the claim deadline before choosing cover.

How is the total relocation cost worked out?

The quote is based on the volume and weight of your goods, the distance, floors and lift access at both addresses, the packing your items need, the transport mode, and any extras you choose, such as crating, storage, technician work or transit cover. Applicable GST is shown on the quote. If items are added or access changes, the revised amount is agreed in writing before that work is done.

What items are prohibited from being packed and transported in the moving truck?

Petrol, kerosene, thinners, filled gas cylinders and other flammable or hazardous chemicals, firearms and ammunition, and perishable cooked food are not loaded with household goods. Cash, jewellery, original property documents and passports should travel with you. If you are unsure about an item, raise it at the survey.

Do your packers dismantle and reassemble furniture and home appliances?

Yes, for standard furniture such as beds, dining tables and wardrobes, where the quote includes it. Wall-mounted TVs, air conditioners, geysers and water purifiers need a qualified technician, which can be arranged as a separately quoted service. Unpacking and placing furniture in your chosen rooms can also be included if you ask for it.
