Corrugated Cartons
Strong cartons sized to their contents. Smaller cartons for books and utensils keep the weight liftable; larger ones are used for light, bulky items like linen.
PACKING AND UNPACKING
Book packing only, unpacking only, packing for selected fragile items, or both as part of a full move. Materials are chosen for each item, every carton is numbered and labelled by room, and standard furniture is dismantled and reassembled where your quote includes it.
Free packing-material cleanup after the full packing and unpacking service.

WHY PACKING MATTERS
Goods can be knocked or compressed while they are handled, carried, stacked, transported and unloaded. Packing that suits each item spreads those knocks and stops things moving inside the carton.
That means choosing materials by item rather than wrapping everything the same way. Fine crockery needs individual wrapping and dividers. A teak dining table needs corner protection and a soft layer under film. A large screen needs support with no pressure on the panel. Heavy books need small cartons that can be lifted safely.

Choosing the right scope avoids paying twice and makes clear what stays with you.
| Scope | What we do | What stays with you |
|---|---|---|
| Packing only | Materials, packing labour, dismantling where included, numbered cartons and an inventory | Loading, transport and unloading, unless added. Arrange your transporter for after packing finishes. |
| Unpacking only | Opening cartons at your new home, placing contents in agreed rooms, reassembling furniture where included | Getting the goods delivered. Tell us who packed them and how many cartons there are. |
| Selected items | Packing for fragile or valuable items only, such as crockery, screens, artwork or a mandir | Packing everything else and arranging the move |
| Full move | Packing, loading, transport, unloading and agreed unpacking, under one quote | Society permissions, appliance preparation, and the valuables you carry yourself |
These are provisional planning guides for budgeting before a survey, not a fixed tariff. Your quote depends on the actual number of items, fragile pieces, furniture to dismantle, and access at your home. It can fall inside or outside these ranges.

About these guides: the figures cover packing materials and labour, and, in the combined column, the agreed unpacking and standard furniture reassembly. Confirm the addresses and destination labour scope; the table does not itself include vehicle transport. Carton counts, crew sizes and times are rough references; your survey sets the actual numbers. Packing time covers packing only, not travel, transport or unpacking at a new address. Check whether crates, technician work and special handling are already included before adding any separate charge. Applicable GST is shown on the invoice.
Crew, carton and time figures are rough planning guides. The time column concerns packing work; transport and destination unpacking have separate dates. Free packing-material cleanup remains included in the full packing and unpacking service.
For preliminary budgeting, researched unpacking-only ranges are ₹2,000–₹3,500 for 1 BHK, ₹3,500–₹5,500 for 2 BHK, ₹5,500–₹8,000 for 3 BHK and ₹8,000–₹12,000 for 4+ BHK. These are market planning estimates, not a fixed ALPM tariff. The carton count, rooms to open, furniture work and material removal determine the actual scope. Do not add these figures to the combined packing-and-unpacking column, which already covers both services.
PACKING MATERIALS
Materials are chosen for each item at the survey. These are the main types we use.
Strong cartons sized to their contents. Smaller cartons for books and utensils keep the weight liftable; larger ones are used for light, bulky items like linen.
Cushions crockery, glassware, decor, monitors and small appliances against knocks during handling.
Holds wrapping in place and keeps dust off upholstery and mattresses. It is applied over a soft layer, never directly on polished finishes. It is not waterproof, so goods are kept out of heavy rain.
Protect polished wood, veneer and glass edges from chips and scratches.
Tall cartons with a hanging rail, so suits, sarees and dresses travel on their hangers.
Built for marble tops, chandeliers, stone idols, large screens and artwork where the survey shows a crate is needed. Check whether the crate is included in the quoted price.
HOW IT WORKS
A room-by-room look, by video or in person, to count items, note fragile and heavy pieces, measure large furniture and check access. You receive a written quote listing materials, labour, dismantling and any crates.
Standard beds, wardrobes and tables are dismantled where the quote includes it. Furniture is wrapped with a soft layer, corner protection and film over the top.
Every carton gets a number, its room and any handling direction. Cartons you'll need first, with a kettle, basic utensils and bedding, are marked "open first".
For packing only, we hand over the counted cartons to you or your transporter. For a full move, heavy items are loaded first and secured, with fragile cartons placed so nothing heavy rests on them.
At your new home, cartons go to their labelled rooms, contents are unpacked as agreed, furniture is reassembled where included, and used packing material is cleared free as part of the full packing and unpacking service.
Tell the crew which pooja items you want to pack or carry yourself and which should be opened first. Plan their position with the safe loading order; do not assume they can always be loaded last.
If another transporter is collecting your goods after we pack, a clear handover record helps both you and them.
Record who will load, transport and unload, when custody changes, and the responsibility each party has agreed to take. Keep the handover count with the transporter’s receipt.
AT YOUR NEW HOME
Unpacking goes faster when the work is agreed before the crew arrives. Tell us which rooms to unpack, which to leave for you, and what should be set up first.
Keep a clear space in each room for unpacking. Before signing off, check the carton count, and note any item that is damaged, missing or not yet assembled. Appliance installation, wall-mounting and electrical work need a qualified technician and should be listed if arranged as part of your booking.
Free removal of the used packing material is included after the full packing and unpacking service; confirm the unpacking date and any later collection you want for cartons you keep.

The packing times in the guide above cover packing at your current home only. If you are moving to another city, the full move has three stages: packing at the origin, transport, and unpacking at the destination. Each has its own date.
If you are booking unpacking only, tell us the expected delivery date and who packed the goods, so the crew and time can be planned.
Packing a home yourself can save money. Professional packing saves time and suits fragile or heavy items. Compare on the work involved, alongside the price.
| Point | Professional packing | Packing it yourself |
|---|---|---|
| Time and effort | A crew packs the home in hours, depending on its size | Often spread over several days alongside work and family |
| Materials | Brought by the crew and matched to each item | Bought or gathered by you; reused cartons can be weak |
| Furniture | Standard furniture dismantled and reassembled where included | Needs tools and care to avoid stripped screws or scratches |
| Fragile items | Individual wrapping, dividers and crates where needed | Depends on your materials and how firmly items are packed |
| Transit cover | Ask the cover provider how professionally packed goods are treated | Check how the selected cover treats owner-packed contents; acceptance and exclusions depend on its terms. |
| Packing material afterwards | Free cleanup after the full packing and unpacking service | Your responsibility |
Carry medicines, cash, jewellery, passports, original property papers and important personal documents yourself. Do not hand over filled gas cylinders, fuels, flammable or corrosive chemicals, firearms or perishable food for household packing. Declare any unusual or fragile item before the survey.
Transit cover is optional and arranged with a cover provider. Ask for the provider's name, what is covered and excluded, how declared values are set, the premium and the claim process. The inventory and condition notes from packing day support any later report.
Choose your city for local details. Availability, crew and dates are confirmed for your address when you enquire.
