Indicative Mumbai to Noida shifting charges
Use the table to set a budget before you ask for a quote. Each range assumes a standard household for that size, basic packing, loading, transit and unloading as scoped, and the mode identified in the quote. If you want a dedicated vehicle for the same inventory, it is quoted separately from a shared-mode quote.
| Move type | Indicative range | Planning assumption |
|---|---|---|
| Few items | ₹10,500–18,500 | A short itemised list such as boxes, a mattress and a small appliance |
| 1 BHK | ₹19,500–28,500 | Standard household goods for one bedroom |
| 2 BHK | ₹25,500–36,500 | Standard household goods for two bedrooms |
| 3 BHK | ₹34,500–48,500 | Standard household goods for three bedrooms |
| 4 BHK | ₹44,500–62,500 | Standard household goods for four bedrooms |
| Villa | ₹55,500–78,500 | Larger individual assessment; the range is a starting point |
| Small office | ₹31,500–55,500 | Roughly 6–8 workstations, chairs, computers, a few cabinets and files |
| Hatchback | ₹16,500–22,500 | Car moved as a separate vehicle job |
| Sedan | ₹20,500–28,500 | Car moved as a separate vehicle job |
| SUV | ₹24,500–35,500 | Car moved as a separate vehicle job |
| Bike | ₹6,500–9,500 | Regular bike |
| Heavy bike | ₹9,500–13,500 | Larger or heavier machine |
Homes larger than the sizes above, or homes with a lot of heavy furniture, are assessed individually. Stock, machinery and server rooms in an office are assessed separately and are not covered by the small-office range.
What moves the price up or down
A room count alone cannot show the packing, handling and vehicle space your move needs. These are the factors that change the number most on this route.
- Inventory volume: how many boxes, how much furniture, and how many bulky or heavy items such as a washing machine, wardrobe or piano.
- Transport mode: a dedicated vehicle costs more than shared movement for the same inventory but follows a different timeline.
- Access at pickup: floor, working lift, stair carry, and how far the vehicle must park from the door.
- Access at delivery: tower and flat, lift availability, parking distance and any society hours for moving goods.
- Packing level: how much we pack against how much you pack yourself, and whether crates are needed.
- Dismantling and reassembly: beds, wardrobes, modular units and wall-mounted items.
- Timing: a fixed date, a narrow window or an urgent dispatch limits which vehicle can be arranged.
- Waiting and extras: delays caused by access or permissions, storage between legs, or a redelivery attempt.
When you send an itemised inventory with floors and access notes, the quote has far less room to change later.
What the basic scope covers and what is written as an extra
The basic scope is packing as agreed, loading, transit and unloading. Anything beyond that is either shown as included or listed as an extra, in writing, before you confirm.
| Item | How it appears in the quote |
|---|---|
| Furniture assembly and dismantling | Included or written as an extra |
| Crates and special packing | Included or written as an extra |
| Technician work (appliance, AC, IT) | Included or written as an extra |
| Tolls and parking charges | Included or written as an extra |
| Stair carry and long carry | Included or written as an extra |
| Waiting time | Included or written as an extra |
| Storage | Included or written as an extra |
| Redelivery | Included or written as an extra |
| GST | Stated on the quote |
| Optional transit cover | Included or written as an extra if you ask for it |
If a line is not mentioned in the quote, ask about it before you pay anything. A missing line is not the same as a free line.
Dedicated, shared and separate-vehicle modes
Dedicated vehicle
Your goods travel alone. Planning time is 3–5 days after dispatch. This can suit larger homes and offices needing a narrower receiving window; availability and the delivery window still need confirmation.
Shared (part-load)
Your goods travel with other consignments. Planning time is 5–8 days from pickup, including consolidation. This suits few-item moves, students and smaller households that can accept a wider window.
Separate car or bike
Car and bike arrangements may follow a separate carrier schedule. When quoted separately, allow a preliminary 4–7 days from pickup and confirm the collection method, handovers and delivery window before booking.
The same inventory can be quoted in more than one mode. The quote states which mode it is for, and a dedicated quote is not a shared quote with a different label.
Route, distance and transit time
The road distance for this route generally falls between 1,350 and 1,500 km, depending on where exactly you start in the Mumbai region and which part of Noida or Greater Noida you deliver to. A maps tool shows about 1,354 km and about 21 hours 29 minutes for a passenger car on the NE4 route. That is a reference for a passenger, not a delivery time for goods.
Goods transport can involve rest stops, loading waits and the carrier's chosen commercial routing, so transit planning is counted in days. We do not promise a fixed route, a toll count or a fixed list of states for your consignment.
| Mode | Planning time | Counted from |
|---|---|---|
| Dedicated vehicle | 3–5 days | Dispatch |
| Shared (part-load) | 5–8 days | Pickup, including consolidation |
| Separate car or bike | 4–7 days | Pickup |
Dates are agreed as a window in the quote. Weather, closures and access problems can move a window, and we tell you as soon as that happens.
Check current NCR vehicle and access advisories
Air-quality measures under GRAP and other traffic directions can change, so the applicable requirements should be checked for your booking dates and the assigned goods vehicle. Ask the coordinator whether the planned approach to your Noida address enters Delhi or stays outside it, and whether any current measure affects that vehicle or its last-mile arrangement. Do not assume that every Mumbai–Noida load must pass through Delhi.
Close to dispatch, confirm the receiving window again if weather, road visibility or an official advisory has changed the arrival plan. Keep the property contact available and agree what happens if the lift or gate slot must be moved. A seasonal label alone is not a reliable arrival estimate or a statement of which restriction is in force.
Mumbai pickup planning
Mumbai-region pickups are often in high-rise buildings with limited vehicle access, so the details below decide how smoothly loading goes.
- Floor and whether a lift can be used for goods.
- How close the vehicle can stop to the entrance, and whether a smaller vehicle is needed for the last stretch.
- Any moving-day request your society requires. Ask the society what it actually asks for, because rules differ from one building to another and we do not assume any.
- Time window allowed for loading, so the crew and vehicle can be planned around it.
- Items that need dismantling before loading, and who will be present to confirm the list.
Send these details with your inventory. They help prevent changes caused by unrecorded access work.
Noida, Greater Noida West, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway delivery planning
Noida is not one drop point. Noida, Greater Noida West, Greater Noida and the Yamuna Expressway area are different localities with different layouts, so give us the exact address, not just the city.
- Area: Noida, Greater Noida West, Greater Noida or Yamuna Expressway.
- Sector or project name, for example a sector such as 62, 74–78 or 137, or a named housing project.
- Tower and flat number, and the PIN code.
- The correct entrance for goods vehicles, since the main gate and the goods gate can be different.
- A private map pin shared with the coordinator, not posted publicly.
Sectors such as 62, 74–78 and 137 are examples of how addresses are written. They are not a pattern for how access works, because every property sets its own rules.
The district's public directory of authorities lists the Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway development authorities separately. Use that only as a reminder that these are distinct areas. It says nothing about any property's moving rules or charges, and an authority's office address is never your delivery address.
Ask your society or property manager what gate or lift request it actually requires for a moving day, and send us the answer so the window can be planned around it.
Moving into a newly handed-over tower
If your Greater Noida West, Noida or Yamuna Expressway flat has only recently been handed over, check the actual receiving arrangements rather than relying on the possession announcement. Before you fix the dispatch date, check:
- Is the lift in your tower running for goods? Confirm whether the working lift is available for your goods and large furniture on the proposed date. If it cannot be used, ask for an access assessment and revised plan before assuming a stair carry is feasible.
- Who gives the move-in permission? Ask whether the contact is the residents' association, builder maintenance team, owner or another property representative. Confirm any actual move-in request and documents with that contact; no single rule applies to every project.
- Are the keys actually with you? A possession date on paper and keys in hand are not always the same day. Confirm that the receiver can enter the flat before dispatch, or agree a separately scoped storage or interim delivery plan if the keys are delayed.
- Is work still going on inside the flat? If the carpenter, painter or electrician will still be working when the goods arrive, decide which room the cartons go into, and keep furniture covered until the work is done.
Noida, or Ghaziabad next door?
Indirapuram, Vaishali, Crossings Republik and Raj Nagar Extension are Ghaziabad destinations rather than Noida city addresses. They are close to Noida but are a separate endpoint, with their own access and, for the property, their own local authority. Check the district and PIN on your rent agreement or allotment letter, and give those address details to the coordinator so the quote names the right place.
Home and few-item moves
Transport space and carrying work are different questions
The boxes in this photo occupy only part of the vehicle. That tells you something about volume, but it does not tell you the work needed to carry them at either property.
For a Mumbai to Noida few-item move, give the carton count and sizes alongside pickup and delivery floors, lift access and the carry distance. Ask whether the quote includes the crew at both ends and whether any minimum charge applies.
If you pack the cartons yourself, agree their handling terms before handing them over. Use readable numbers and keep a complete list so a small shared consignment remains easy to identify.
Full home moves
A full home move is scoped from your inventory: rooms, furniture, appliances, fragile items and anything that needs dismantling. The planning ranges above run from 1 BHK to villa, and a home with a lot of heavy furniture is assessed individually.
Few-item moves
If you only have a few items, such as a student's boxes, a bed or a single appliance, shared movement is usually the practical choice. The planning range starts at ₹10,500 and goes up to ₹18,500 for a short itemised list, with a 5–8 day window counted from pickup. List every item, with approximate size, so the move is scoped as a few-item job and not rounded up to a full home.
If the list grows during the enquiry, say so early. A few items that become a full room of furniture is a different quote, and it is better to learn that before pickup day.
Physical office relocation
The small-office planning range of ₹31,500–55,500 assumes about 6–8 workstations, chairs, computers, a few cabinets and files. It covers the physical goods only.
- IT backup and system reconnection at the new office are excluded.
- Stock, machinery and server rooms are assessed separately.
- Labelling workstations and boxes by desk or department before pickup makes unloading much quicker in Noida.
- Confirm building access hours at both ends, since commercial buildings often limit goods movement to set times.
Send a floor-wise list of furniture and equipment, with access notes, and we scope the move from that.
Car and bike transport
When vehicles are quoted separately from household goods, allow a preliminary 4–7 days from pickup. The timing is confirmed before booking.
| Vehicle | Indicative range |
|---|---|
| Hatchback | ₹16,500–22,500 |
| Sedan | ₹20,500–28,500 |
| SUV | ₹24,500–35,500 |
| Bike | ₹6,500–9,500 |
| Heavy bike | ₹9,500–13,500 |
Tell us the make and model, whether the vehicle starts and runs, and any existing damage, so the condition can be noted at handover. Keep personal items, documents and valuables out of the vehicle. Fuel level and accessories to be left in place are agreed at handover.
Packing, assembly, loading, storage and cover
The basic scope covers packing as agreed, loading, transit and unloading. The following are discussed at enquiry and written into the quote if you need them.
- Packing: fully packed by us, partly packed, or packed by you. Fragile and high-value items are flagged on the inventory.
- Assembly: dismantling at pickup and reassembly at delivery for beds, wardrobes and similar furniture.
- Loading and unloading: floor, lift and carry distance are recorded so labour is planned properly.
- Storage: if your new Noida home is not ready, storage between pickup and delivery can be discussed and is written separately if it is needed.
- Cover: if you want transit cover, say so at enquiry. Any cover is quoted separately, and you should read its terms in the policy document and not assume what it includes.
Why enquire with ALPM
You deal with the business directly. There is no lead-forwarding step between you and the people planning the move.
- Itemised scope: your inventory and access notes are written down, and the quote follows them.
- Agreed mode and window: the transport mode and the pickup and delivery window are stated in the quote.
- Handover count: the inventory is counted at pickup and checked again at delivery, so both sides work from the same list.
We do not ask you to trust a headline price. The price follows what is on the list.
How to choose a mover for this route
Cheapest is not a safe filter on a 1,350 km move. Compare quotes on the same terms.
- Check that every quote uses the same inventory, the same mode and the same dates.
- Ask which extras are included and which are written as extra charges.
- Ask how timing is counted: from dispatch, from pickup, or from booking.
- Ask who the payee is, and make sure you get a receipt for every payment.
- Check that the business name, address and registration details match across the quote, the invoice and its website, because similar names are common in this trade.
- Be careful with very low phone quotes given without asking about floors, lift and parking.
How the move runs, step by step
- Send your details: pickup area, Noida address, move type, preferred mode and date window.
- Share the itemised inventory and access notes at both ends.
- Receive a written quote that names the mode, scope, extras and window.
- Confirm and agree the dispatch or pickup date.
- Packing and loading at pickup, with the inventory counted and noted.
- Transit in the agreed mode and timeline.
- Unloading at the Noida address and a check against the inventory count.
Noida move-in cash worksheet
The mover's invoice is only one part of the cash you may need around move-in day. Some Noida properties also ask for a fee or a deposit that is paid to the property, not to the mover. Planning the total avoids a last-minute shortfall.
The example below is a hypothetical illustration. It is not an ALPM quote, not an invoice and not a rule of any property.
| Line | Paid to | Example amount (₹) |
|---|---|---|
| Mover's written payable amount, including scoped extras and GST | Mover | 30,000 |
| Property non-refundable fee, if applicable | Property or society | 1,000 |
| Refundable deposit, if the property asks for one | Property or society | 2,000 |
| Total cash needed | 33,000 | |
| Net after a full deposit refund | 31,000 |
Use this as a worksheet.
- Keep the mover's invoice and the property's charges as separate lines with separate payees, and ask for a receipt for each.
- List any property deposit once under its actual payee; check that it has not already been included in the cash total.
- Confirm with your actual society first. Ask what it charges, who receives the payment, what the receipt will say, and under what condition and to whom the deposit is refunded.
- Ask how long a refund takes and who to contact for it.
Not every property charges anything, and fees differ from one society to another. Use your property's confirmed amounts in place of the illustrative figures.
Checklists before and after the move
Before pickup
- Finalise the inventory and mark fragile and high-value items.
- Ask your Mumbai society what it requires for a moving day and tell us.
- Keep documents, jewellery, cash, medicines and chargers with you.
- Prepare the fridge and washing machine according to their manuals; agree any disconnection and transport restraint work before packing.
- Photograph valuable items and note any existing marks.
On moving day
- Be present, or keep a trusted person present, at both ends.
- Check the inventory count and sign only what is correct.
- Keep the coordinator's number and share the Noida entrance and map pin.
After delivery in Noida
- Check the count against the inventory before the vehicle leaves.
- Open and inspect high-value and fragile boxes soon after unloading.
- Note any visible issue in writing at the time, so it can be discussed.
- Settle the mover's invoice, then pay any property charges separately and keep both receipts.
Common mistakes on this route
- Booking on a phone price without sharing the inventory, then finding the price changes at pickup.
- Comparing a shared-mode quote with a dedicated-vehicle quote as if they were the same service.
- Giving only 'Noida' as the destination, with no sector, project, tower and entrance.
- Treating a passenger driving time as the delivery time for goods.
- Assuming the society will allow a moving vehicle at any hour without checking.
- Paying a property fee or deposit to the mover, or paying the mover's invoice without a receipt.
- Leaving documents, valuables or medicines inside packed boxes.
Advance payment, cancellation and date changes
Before you pay any advance, ask for the terms in writing: how much it is, what it secures, and what happens to it if the date or the plan changes.
Tell us about a date change as early as possible. Pickup and dispatch windows are arranged around the vehicle and mode in your quote, so a shift can change the window, the mode or the price. Cancellation and changes are handled under the terms agreed in writing at booking, so ask for those before you pay and do not rely on a verbal assurance.
