What can change the local shifting price?
A large wardrobe, several book cartons, a hydraulic bed or a marble mandir can change the labour and vehicle space. Few Items, PG and Bachelor Shifting in Bangalore

Society permission and service lifts
Ask both associations about the actual moving hours, gate pass, lift booking and any deposit. Rules differ between buildings, even within the same locality. Arrange the resident-side permissions and share the required company, crew and vehicle details before the move.
Truck entry and city traffic
Plan the vehicle and departure around the restrictions applicable to the road, truck and moving date. Silk Board, the Marathahalli–Bellandur stretch, Hebbal and other busy approaches can affect travel. Avoid building the whole day around a fixed cross-city driving time.
Basement height and the final carrying distance
Measure the actual gate, ramp and usable lift. A container may not reach the lobby even when the main road is wide. If a smaller vehicle or extra carrying is needed, agree the handling and price during the survey. Do not assume a universal basement height or free shuttle policy.
Large furniture
Compare the sofa, wardrobe and fridge dimensions with the lift and stair turns. Dismantle suitable pieces and label the fittings. Specialist lifting or a crane needs a separate access and handling assessment.

House shifting
For apartments, villas, independent houses and PG rooms, list the furniture, appliances and cartons to be moved. Agree packing, suitable dismantling, transport, unloading and refitting. AC, wall fittings and specialist appliances need suitable technicians and a separate scope.
Office and tech-park relocation
For Whitefield, Electronic City, Manyata, Outer Ring Road or a central office, number workstations and cable bags by desk and files by department. Set the loading, gate access and receiving order around the equipment needed first. Server, laboratory and other specialist equipment needs its own assessment.
Car and bike transport
Choose a carrier arrangement matched to the model, dimensions and route. Photograph the vehicle, record existing marks and the odometer, and remove loose belongings. Keep RC, insurance and applicable PUC copies ready and follow the selected carrier’s fuel and battery preparation instructions.
Storage
If the new property is not ready, discuss availability before collection. Agree the location, duration, handling, cover and redelivery charges separately. Keep medicines, documents and urgent work items out of a load that may need holding.
Packing Furniture, Electronics and Fragile Items
Match protection to the material and handling. Polished furniture needs a non-scratch contact layer and protected corners; screens need supported edges and a suitable rigid outer box. Glassware should be cushioned individually in strong divided cartons.
Dry and drain appliances before wrapping. Label bolts and brackets from dismantled furniture and number cartons by destination room. A large glass top, marble mandir or unusual item may need a fitted crate and lifting plan, agreed during the survey.

Moving Out of a Rented Flat in Bangalore
Most people in Bangalore live on rent, and moving out has its own list of jobs that have nothing to do with packing. These are the ones our customers forget most often:
- Give notice in writing. Use the notice period and method required by your rental agreement. A WhatsApp message to the owner is better than nothing, but an email is better still.
- Talk about the deposit early. Deposits in Bangalore are often several months of rent, and deductions for painting or cleaning are a common reason for disputes. Agree on this with the owner before the moving day, not after.
- Take photos and a video of the empty flat once our team has cleared it. It helps if there is any argument about damage later.
- Note the final BESCOM meter reading and clear the electricity and water bills, or settle them with the owner.
- Book the lift slot at both societies. Many apartments want 2 to 3 days' notice through MyGate, ADDA or the facility office. We can share our company papers and crew ID proofs with them.
- LPG connection. Within Bangalore you can usually just move your connection to a distributor near the new flat. If you are leaving the city, ask your gas agency about the transfer process before you go.
- Internet router and set-top box. If they belong to the service provider, return them or ask for a shift request early. Some providers take a week to install at the new address.
- Update your address with your bank, Aadhaar, employer and delivery apps once you have moved.
Moving to Bangalore from Another City?

When to Plan Your Bangalore Move
- Avoid the last and first few days of the month if you can. That is when most rental agreements start and end, so movers, societies and lifts are all busy. Mid-month dates are easier to get and sometimes cheaper.
- Weekdays are easier than Saturdays. Check the actual weekend and holiday rules at both buildings; permitted slots vary by association.
- Keep the rain in mind. Bangalore gets heavy showers in the evenings from around June to October. Arrange covered loading and unloading and protect moisture-sensitive electronics and mattresses. Keep a buffer if heavy rain affects the approach.
- Book 5 to 7 days ahead for local moves and about two weeks ahead for intercity moves. Last-minute bookings are possible, but you get fewer slot options.
Things to Keep Out of the Moving Truck
For safety and insurance reasons, please keep these aside before our team arrives:
- LPG cylinders, petrol, kerosene, paint thinner, firecrackers and other inflammable items
- Cash, jewellery, property papers, passports and certificates. Carry them with you
- Open food items, oil and ghee containers that can leak
- Pets
Discuss plants before booking, including their size and suitable handling. For long intercity trips, ask us first, because some plants don't survive 4 to 5 days inside a closed truck.
Booking, Payment, Date Changes and Cancellation
- Booking: The booking amount and date confirmation are recorded in your written booking. Pay only to the company account or company UPI mentioned on our written quote.
- Balance: The remaining amount is paid after loading or at delivery, as written on your quote.
- Invoice: You get a GST invoice and a bilty (consignment note) listing your items.
- Date change: Ask for the notice period, rescheduling availability and any charge before booking.
- Cancellation: Record the applicable cancellation terms and refund conditions before paying.
Transit Cover and Damage Reporting
Transit insurance is optional. Read the issued policy for the premium, declared value, covered risks, exclusions, deductible and claim deadline. A transport quotation does not establish free cover or a guaranteed payout.
We pack carefully, but breakages can happen on any move, and it is better you know the process in advance than find out on the day.
- Check your items at delivery and write down any damage on the delivery receipt before you sign. Take clear photos.
