Old Town and New Town Need Different Planning

Old Town: In the lanes behind Santhe Circle and around the station, a 14ft or 19ft truck usually cannot come up to the door. There are shops on both sides, low cables and two-wheelers parked everywhere. So we park the big truck on the main road and use a Tata Ace or a small pickup to bring the goods out in rounds. It takes a little longer, but nothing gets dragged through the lane and the neighbours are not blocked for half the day. We mention this shuttle in the quote itself, so it is not a surprise later.

New Town: Here the roads are wide and trucks enter easily, but many streets have old, low-hanging trees. For houses on such roads we send a vehicle of the right height and check the approach before loading. Most New Town homes are independent houses, often with the bedroom on the first or second floor and no lift, so we count staircase carrying properly in the quote instead of adding it on the day.

Shifting in Apartments on Kogilu Road and Doddaballapur Road

Most gated societies in Yelahanka allow shifting only in fixed hours, ask for a move-in or move-out request on the society app, and expect the service lift to be covered. A few practical things we do:

• We share the driver name, vehicle number and crew ID copies a day or two before, so you can put the request on MyGate, NoBrokerHood or whatever app your society uses.
• The service lift is padded with blankets and the lobby floor is covered before the first carton goes down. This is mainly to protect your caution deposit.
• If the society allows shifting only till 5 or 6 PM, we start early. A 2 BHK in a society with a working service lift is usually done in one day.
• Used cartons and wrapping are taken back with us, so you are not left with a pile of cardboard in the corridor.

Please check your society's timing and any shifting charge with the facility manager before you fix the date. Some societies take a deposit or a fixed fee for using the lift, and that is paid to the society, not to us.

Transfer Moves from AFS Yelahanka, CRPF, BSF and RWF

Transfer moves can include – Air Force personnel from AFS Yelahanka, staff from the CRPF Group Centre and BSF campus, and Rail Wheel Factory employees. These moves have two extra parts: getting the crew and vehicle inside the gate, and getting the bill passed later.

Where Our Team Comes From

Our Bangalore hub is on Tumkur Road near Nelamangala, so for a Yelahanka pickup the truck and crew start early to reach you by the agreed time.
