1st Block, ST Bed Layout and Venkatapura
Mostly independent houses and small 3–4 floor buildings, many without a lift. Stairs mean more hands, so assess the item weights, floor and landing turns before deciding the handling team. Some roads here get waterlogged after a heavy evening shower – during the monsoon months we keep plastic sheets in the truck and don't place cartons directly on the road.
2nd Block and the St John's side
Close to St John's Hospital and Sarjapur Road, with a good number of gated apartments. Loading is usually inside the compound, which makes things easier, but the security desk will ask for the owner's or RWA's move-out slip. Keep it ready.
3rd and 4th Block
Wider tree-lined roads, bigger independent houses and duplex homes. List the heavy pieces separately – solid sheesham and teak furniture, large pooja mandirs, glass-top dining tables, big double-door fridges. Our carpenter dismantles beds and wardrobes, and anything with glass or marble gets corner guards, or a wooden crate if it really needs one.
5th and 6th Block (JNC and the café stretch)
The busiest part of Koramangala – restaurants, PGs, co-living spaces and narrow cross roads near Jyoti Nivas College. A 14 ft truck cannot turn in many of these crosses without blocking the whole lane. So we load into a Tata Ace from your gate and transfer to the main truck parked on a wider road. 7th and 8th Block, NGV and Ejipura side
Large apartment complexes including National Games Village, plus offices and commercial buildings along 80 Feet Road. Society Rules You Should Know Before Shifting in Koramangala
Rules differ from society to society, so please check with your association or building owner. But these are the things that come up in almost every Koramangala apartment we work in:
- Shifting hours: Most societies allow moves only during the day – within the slot set by the association. A few don't allow heavy shifting on Sundays and public holidays.

How We Pack Your Things
Packing should protect the item on the carrying route as well as inside the vehicle. Plan each item separately:
- Furniture: Beds, wardrobes and tables are opened by the carpenter. Each panel is wrapped in corrugated sheet and stretch film, and all screws go into a labelled pouch kept with the matching item without adhesive touching polished surfaces.
- Fridge, washing machine, TV: Bubble wrap plus a corrugated layer. Washing machine drum is locked, fridge is defrosted the night before (allow time to defrost and dry it before packing).
- Laptops, monitors, CPUs: Bubble wrap, foam corners and a double-wall box. For offices, every box is numbered against the desk.
- Crockery, glassware, pooja items: Wrapped one by one, cushioned with paper, and marked "FRAGILE – THIS SIDE UP".
- Glass, marble and stone tops: We'll tell you honestly if a wooden crate is needed. A glass table top or a marble mandir usually is; a normal sofa is not. If we suggest a crate, the cost is written in the quote and we take a photo of the item before packing.
Optional ICICI Lombard cover is quoted separately. For ₹1 lakh cover the charge is ₹3,000; for ₹2 lakh cover you pay ₹3,000 after a ₹3,000 complimentary benefit. The benefit applies only to the ₹2 lakh option. Cover, valuation, exclusions and the applicable excess follow the issued policy and insurer’s assessment.
