Lines to settle before you accept a quote
- Furniture assembly: which pieces are taken apart and put together, and by whom.
- Technician work for appliances: separate from the move, with who books and pays.
- Crates: where a piece needs one, named per piece with the cost.
- Tolls and parking: shown as included, or as an extra with an amount.
- Stairs or a long carry: priced from the access details you give.
- Waiting, storage and redelivery: only if you ask for them, each as its own line.
- GST: as applicable, and shown on the invoice.
- Optional cover: only if you want it, with a declared value and the policy terms.
Distance, corridor and delivery time
Plan on a road distance of about 950 to 1,100 km, depending on both properties and the corridor. A public navigation tool shows 959 km and about 17 hours 1 minute for a passenger car via NH48. That car estimate excludes packing, loading, shared-load consolidation and the final unloading appointment.
A possible corridor for a loaded vehicle runs from Mumbai through Surat and Vadodara, then through Ahmedabad or Palanpur, Abu Road and Pali to Jodhpur. The carrier confirms the commercial alignment, which depends on the properties at both ends. No detour through Udaipur is assumed.

Plan for the receiving room as well as the journey

The Mumbai pickup: check the lift before the fridge is wrapped
For a Thane, Navi Mumbai, Panvel, Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar or Kalyan-Dombivli pickup, state the actual city and locality along with the building. An appliance assessment needs the route out of that flat as well as the destination room in Jodhpur.

Allow a preliminary carrier window of about 3 to 6 days after pickup, on its own dates, separate from your household goods. Ask what type of carrier is used, and where in Jodhpur the vehicle is handed over, since that point may not be your gate.
