What a Written Quote Should Cover and What Stays Separate
The base household figure covers packing, loading, transport, unloading and any assembly agreed in advance, such as refitting a bed or wardrobe, for the inventory listed. Goods or rooms added later change the estimate.
Everything outside that base should appear on the quote with one of three marks: included, extra, or not applicable. Tax is shown as its own line.

The road distance is about 2,100 km. It shifts with the pickup and delivery addresses and the road chosen: a mapping check in October 2026 returned about 1,987 km by the NH161 option, 2,071 km by NH16 and 2,113 km by NH44. Treat roughly 2,000 to 2,200 km as the working range.
No single highway or fixed list of cities is promised for a goods vehicle. The operator picks the road for your load. A full household can travel shared when there is capacity and the dates fit, so shared is not only for small loads. A part load is simply a smaller portion of a shared vehicle, not a third mode. The locality name does not decide whether a road is narrow or a lift is available. Use photographs and measurements from your property, including any separate entrance for loading vehicles.
Jaipur Old-City Furniture Fit: Check the Whole Entry Path Before Chennai Loading
Jaipur's walled city is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the listing describes its main bazaars, courtyard havelis and inner street pattern. That is background, not a ruling on your address. Gates, doors, stairs and street widths differ from one property to the next, and the receiver or building confirms any entry timing or permission for your date.
Trace the path from the lawful stopping point

Dismantling is a design decision
Taking off legs, arms or a headboard helps only where the piece was built for it. Glued joints, veneer and carved wood can be damaged by forcing them apart, so the call is made item by item, ideally with a qualified person's view, and noted on the worksheet.
A hypothetical sofa
Picture a sofa 2.1 m long. Its length alone cannot approve or reject it, and neither can a single door width. Depth, height, the stair turn and the landing clearance all have to be compared with the full packed shape, with its padding. For an apartment, the questions change. Ask the society for the goods bay or lift cabin size and capacity, the slot allowed for your move, and whether your largest piece fits that route. These are checked against the building itself, not against an old-city assumption.
If the result is uncertain
If measurements or photos leave doubt, ask for an assessment and replan before loading: a different handling method, a different piece, or leaving the item behind. Roping a piece up the outside, removing a window or altering a wall or gate is not an automatic option. Any step like that would need a separate assessment and the property owner's permission.
Receiving Goods in Jaipur: Address, Slot and Backup Plan
Before dispatch, send the exact project or building name, the gate or pin location, floor and room, the receiver's name and number, and any carry permission needed. A few items or luggage
If you are sending a bed, a refrigerator, some cartons or luggage, quoting starts from the real count, dimensions, weight or volume, and access at both ends. Ask whether any minimum applies to a load of that size. A small consignment often fits a shared vehicle, though it depends on capacity and dates.
Physical office goods
Desks, chairs, cabinets, files and boxed computers move best when labelled by department with asset labels, then released at the Chennai end and checked off by a named receiver in Jaipur. Data backup, disconnecting networks and rebuilding them are for your own qualified IT person. The scope does not extend to industrial stock or a downtime-free cutover.
Loading or unloading only
