Packers and Movers in Gandipet, Hyderabad
Shifting a house in Gandipet can mean a villa with internal stairs, a flat towards Kokapet or Narsingi, or a smaller room near CBIT and MGIT. Each needs a different packing and access plan. ALPM local household moves start at ₹5,500 for 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for 3 BHK; the actual inventory, route and work determine your estimate, with GST shown separately.
For a villa handover, sort belongings into four groups: pack early, keep in use until moving day, carry yourself and move later. Early packing does not have to mean two trips. The detailed plans below cover house shifting, selected furniture, offices, car and bike transport, and storage when dates do not match.
Share both addresses, the preferred date, room photos and the gate approach through the enquiry form above. Include the terrace, garden furniture and any pieces that may not fit through the stairs so the estimate covers the whole move.

Packers and Movers Gandipet Charges: Starting Prices and Local Budget Ranges
The starting prices below apply to the simplest local household jobs; they are not the standard total for every home. For a fuller inventory, use the higher distance-based planning ranges to budget. For example, the 1 BHK starting guide is ₹5,500, while the up-to-12 km planning range is ₹6,000–₹9,500. Your own estimate identifies the actual goods, access, packing and included tasks. Neither guide is a fixed tariff or a price cap.

How a starting figure becomes your estimate
The gap between a starting price and a planning range is explained by what your move contains. The ordinary base work is packing, loading, road transport, unloading and any agreed assembly. It is counted once for the goods that travel together and is not charged again on every line of the estimate. GST appears as its own line. Anything beyond the base is added only when it is real work in your scope, for example floors without a lift, a long carry from the vehicle stop, or a second trip you have asked for.
The best way to hold an estimate to this is to ask for it to be itemised from your inventory, not from the BHK label. A 2 BHK with a home office and heavy furniture can behave like a 3 BHK.
Mark each extra as included, extra or not applicable
Ask for the estimate to mark each line below in one of three ways: included, extra, or not applicable. Written that way, the same work cannot be charged twice and nothing is left to be assumed on moving day.
Lines to mark on every estimate

Local and intercity are different jobs
A move from Gandipet to another city is not read from the local columns. It is quoted on the actual route. Match the guide to the actual local or intercity arrangement. The intercity section later on this page has its own ranges.
Home Shifting in Gandipet: Villas, Towers and College-Area Moves
A Gandipet move needs more than a bedroom count. A villa near Osman Sagar, an apartment towards Kokapet or Narsingi, and a student room near CBIT or MGIT can have very different loads and access. The college landmarks help locate the area; your own gate, building and goods list decide the moving plan.
Gated villas and independent houses
Include the terrace, car porch, garden furniture and storage rooms in the survey. Duplex and triplex stair turns can be harder than the front door: check a large sofa or wardrobe against the internal staircase before deciding whether it travels whole or in panels. Ask the community manager about truck entry, moving hours and any refundable deposit rather than assuming the same rules apply everywhere.
Kokapet and Narsingi apartment towers
Share the tower and flat number, service-lift dimensions and the permitted loading bay. A truck stopping near the entrance does not necessarily reach the lift: a basement height limit or a long podium walk can add carrying work. Reserve the actual lift slot and share the route from the vehicle to the flat so the crew and estimate account for it.
Approaches towards Osman Sagar and the outer roads
For an independent house or farmhouse-side address towards Janwada or Aziz Nagar, send a short approach video and a gate photo. Check the road surface, turning space and where a loaded vehicle may stand. If the main truck cannot reach, compare a smaller collection vehicle with an agreed carrying arrangement before packing; a shuttle adds handling and does not solve a narrow staircase inside the house.
Student rooms, faculty moves and work-from-home setups
CBIT and MGIT are local orientation points for small-room and selected-item enquiries. List only the goods you own and are moving: a bed, fridge, desk, monitor and cartons can be assessed without calling it a full household. Check hostel or rental checkout rules with the owner. For a move towards Gachibowli or the Financial District, keep your work laptop, charger and essential documents with you, label monitor accessories and leave time for your own internet setup at the new address.
Villa Shifting in Gandipet: Pack Early or Move in Stages
In a villa or any move where the new home may not be ready on the pickup day, the useful decision is how your things travel in time. Put each item group in one of four stages: pack now, keep in use until handover, carry yourself, or move later. Then work out what each stage needs from the plan.
Packing early does not automatically mean an extra trip, and it does not automatically mean free holding. Early packing only changes when an item is packed. What happens to it afterwards depends on what is written down.
One pickup after early packing, or a separately agreed later trip
Two different arrangements for items that are not needed on moving day
Question
One pickup after early packing
Separately agreed later trip
What it is
Goods are packed ahead, then collected in a single pickup and received under the agreed delivery plan
A separate collection or delivery accepted in writing, with its own date
Address and date
One pickup address and date
Its own address, date and slot for that trip
Receiver
The receiver named in the delivery plan
A named receiver for that trip, who may be a different person
Item IDs and count
The full list and carton count, checked at pickup and at delivery
The IDs and count for that trip only
Condition, fittings and custody
Condition noted at packing, and goods stay in your custody until pickup unless the plan says otherwise
Actual condition and fittings, and who holds the goods until that trip, recorded at each handover

Item group
Stage
What the written plan should say
Spare décor, guest-room linen, rarely used books
Packed early, stays at the old home under agreed custody
Which room holds the cartons, who has the key, how they are protected, and the date they are collected with the main load
Essential bed and kitchen items
Packed last, one accepted shipment
The packing day, what you still need that morning, and the item count that goes in the shipment
Sofa and terrace unit, destination room not ready
Moves only on an accepted later trip or confirmed holding
The later date, address and receiver, or the confirmed holding arrangement, with the price for that scope
Medicines, documents, valuables, chargers
Carried by you
Kept out of the mover's inventory
If early-packed goods stay in your own home
Cartons that are packed early but stay in your house are in your custody, not in a mover's warehouse. Do not describe them as held by the mover unless a written holding arrangement says so. Name the room, say who has the key, and note what protects the cartons from damp, pests, children and theft. Record the item IDs and count so the same list can be used at pickup.
Pricing a staged plan without charging the base twice
A separate journey is not automatically included in a BHK starting price. If you ask for a later trip, the estimate should show the actual scope of that trip once: its pickup, its loading, its transport, its unloading and any other work you agree. The base for goods that travel together is not repeated on every row. If a stage is added, moved or dropped, ask for a revised plan and cost before loading.
Check road, gate and room before every trip
Each trip has its own address and its own permissions. Confirm for every trip that the road and gate permit the vehicle, that the crew has a usable path, and that the room is ready to receive. The receiver for each trip needs the keys, written authority to accept the goods and any gate permission. If any of these is missing, agree a new slot or a confirmed, assessed holding arrangement in writing instead of unloading into an unready home.
Services to Ask About for a Gandipet Move
ALPM handles local moves within Hyderabad, intercity relocation and vehicle transport. The written scope for your move states which of the services below are included, because the work covered changes from booking to booking.
Full homes: flats, independent houses and villas
House shifting covers anything from a few selected items to a full 1 to 4 BHK home. For a flat, the main variables are the floor, the lift and the community's shifting rules. For a villa or independent house, the main variables are internal staircases, the compound gate, outdoor items and the carry between the gate and each room. The estimate should be built from your inventory and these access details.
Few items and part loads
Moving only a bed, a sofa, a wardrobe, a refrigerator or a few cartons is a different job from a full household. There is no published range for part loads on this page, because the cost follows the actual count, packed size, weight and volume of the items, the route, the access at both ends and the charging basis and minimum. A few items are not priced by BHK size alone. Send the items with their sizes, both addresses and the date you need.
Packing, loading and unloading
Packing and unpacking can be done by the crew, by you, or split between the two. Loading and unloading include carrying large furniture out of the house and into the new one. The estimate should say who does each, and what happens at both ends if a lift or a long carry is involved.
Local and intercity moves
Local household moves stay within Hyderabad. Intercity moves leave from Gandipet and are quoted on the actual route. Each is scoped and priced separately.
Car and bike
Bike and car transport is quoted separately from household goods, even when it belongs to the same family move.
Office moves
Office and workstation moves are planned in stages when work has to continue during the move. Zones, asset IDs, a release owner and a receiver are agreed first.
Holding and cover
Storage or holding can be considered when pickup and delivery dates do not line up, where it can be arranged for your booking. Insurance assistance and optional transit cover are available where offered and on stated terms. Neither is assumed until it is written into your estimate.
Flat and Villa Inventory in Gandipet: Floors, Gates and Outdoor Items
Flat or apartment
List what is in each room, on the balconies, in the utility areas and in any store room.
Note the floor, whether a lift serves it, the lift's size and whether a service lift exists.
Ask your community in writing about shifting hours, lift booking, vehicle entry and any deposit or permission, and share the answer with ALPM.
Villa or independent house
List by floor, and include the terrace, garden, car porch and any outdoor items.
Note each internal staircase, its turns and its landings, and the width of the compound gate.
Count larger furniture piece by piece. A house may hold more bulky items per room than a flat of the same BHK size.
BHK labels are only a starting point. The estimate should follow the inventory, not the label.
Outdoor items
Loose garden furniture should be clean and dry before it is loaded. Potted plants, swings and other fixed items need a separate assessment and written acceptance before they are in scope. Moving garden items is not an automatic part of a house move, and nothing outdoors should be assumed to be included until it is listed.
Compound-to-room path
For each large item, walk the route it will take and note what you find at each point:
The vehicle stop and the compound gate.
The path from the gate to the front door, including any steps or slope.
The front door and each internal door on the route.
The internal staircase, with its turns and landings.
The room where the item is to be placed.
The same walk is needed at the destination, so the plan is checked at both ends and not just at the pickup.
Gandipet Pickup: From a Landmark to Your Own Gate
Using a landmark
A landmark is a good way to orient the booking team. Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT) is a useful Gandipet reference point. Follow it with your own address PIN and actual entrance, because the college address does not identify a nearby home’s loading gate. Start with the landmark if it helps, then give the exact community, villa number and the gate the crew should use. Confirm the goods-vehicle stopping point with the property contact.
If your address is written with a neighbouring area such as Kokapet, Narsingi or Aziz Nagar, treat that only as address orientation. Each community or road has its own rules, so one area's permission or PIN does not carry over to another.
One set of details per address
Every pickup and every delivery has its own address, so send the details for each one separately.
House name, community or villa number, and flat and floor where they apply, written as your address shows them.
Your own postal PIN, from your address and not from a landmark.
A map pin and a photo of the gate or entrance to use.
Whether a lift or only stairs serve your floor, and the walk to where a vehicle can stop.
The name and number of the person who can confirm access.
Gate, road and vehicle approach
Tell ALPM how wide the road and gate are, where a large vehicle can stop, and how far that point is from your door. If a larger vehicle cannot reach the entrance, ask how goods can be carried, whether a smaller vehicle is a workable alternative, and how that changes cost and time. Photos of the approach and the gate help the booking team judge this before the crew arrives.
Check any moving requirement with your community, owner or property management, get it in writing, and share it so the plan fits your address.
Local Shifting from Gandipet: Plan Both Ends of the Journey
For house shifting within Gandipet or towards nearby West Hyderabad areas, share both gate locations together. The same locality pair can take a different road depending on the entrances. Use the actual pickup-to-delivery route to choose the up-to-12 km, over-12-to-30 km or over-30 km planning band above.

What to check before booking
Another Gandipet home, Kokapet, Narsingi or Manchirevula
Do not assume a short drive is a small load. Count every floor, check both gates and reserve separate society slots where required.
Manikonda, Puppalaguda, Gachibowli or Nanakramguda
Share the final tower entrance, loading bay and service-lift route; the apartment address and the usable goods entrance may differ.
Kondapur, Madhapur, Kukatpally or Miyapur
Allow for the city leg and the receiving building's permitted hours. Confirm a realistic unloading slot after the actual load is assessed.
Other Hyderabad areas or an outer-road address
Check the exact distance, truck approach, road permissions and any local transfer instead of applying a price from a nearby landmark.
Nearby planning guides: Kokapet shifting, Narsingi moves and Gachibowli apartment moving. Use your own postal PIN. CBIT and MGIT publish 500075 addresses, but that does not establish the PIN or entrance for every home described as Gandipet.
Furniture, Doors and Stairs: Checking Fit Before Moving Day
IDs, photos and condition
Give each wardrobe, glass tabletop, mirror and sofa its own ID. Take dated photos of every side, with close-ups of existing scratches, chips or marks. Write down what protective materials you already have and ask what the team can arrange.
Whole-packed or in panels
For each large item, decide how it will travel. It may be packed whole, as a three-dimensional piece, or the design may allow it to be dismantled into separate panels. Measure both versions against the route.
What to measure for each large item
Item as it travels
Measure
Check against, at both ends
Whole, packed
Width, depth and height, including packing
Path width, depth and height, door width and height, lift cabin width, depth and height, stairs and landings
In panels
Width, depth and height of the largest panel, protected
The same path, door, lift and stair checks
If the path does not work
A smaller truck or a transfer to another vehicle does not fix a wardrobe that cannot turn on a stair landing. If a check fails, settle it before booking, in one of these ways:
Agree an approved, qualified, lawful and assessed alternative.
Confirm that the design allows the item to be dismantled.
Agree a new slot.
Exclude the item from the booking.
Dismantling and agreed reassembly
Ask who dismantles, who reassembles and whether that is in the estimate or extra. Keep separated panels protected and labelled, and bag screws and fittings under the matching item ID. Whether a carpenter or another qualified specialist is needed should be settled in writing.
Glass, fragile items and appliances
Fragile items need cushioning together with rigid protection, not cushioning alone. A crate is used only where it has been assessed as needed. If you pack any item yourself, agree in writing how that owner-packed carton is accepted.
For a refrigerator or washing machine, follow the maker's manual for the specific model. If it requires defrosting and drying, or transit bolts on a washer, plan for that. There is no universal rule about the day before or a restart time that applies to every model.
Packing Materials, Loading, Unloading and Unpacking
Packing, loading, unloading and unpacking are four pieces of work. The estimate should say which ones are included and who does each.
Packing materials to ask about
Strong cartons for books, kitchenware, clothes and general household items.
Bubble wrap and foam sheets for glass, crockery, electronics and décor.
Corrugated sheets and edge protection for furniture, panels and tabletops.
Stretch film for cupboards, drawers and loose parts.
Padding or covers for mattresses and sofas.
Tape, labels and markers for carton and room identification.
Ask which materials are included in the packing charge, which are billed separately, and whether you are expected to arrange anything yourself.
Loading and unloading
Loading here means loading your goods into the goods vehicle. Your own car or bike is a separate job with its own responsibilities, described later on this page. Good loading puts heavy furniture in first, keeps fragile cartons protected and secures the load so it does not shift in transit. Ask the booking team to confirm how this will be done for your goods, and how floors, lifts and the carry from the vehicle are handled at both ends.
Labels and the first-day kit
Give each carton an item group or number and the room it is going to, as agreed with ALPM. Keep a separate list for anything moving later. Decide what you need on the first day and pack your personal essentials kit yourself.
Five tasks after unloading
After delivery there are five different pieces of work, and none of them is assumed:
Unpacking the contents of cartons.
Placing items in the rooms.
Refitting furniture.
Installing appliances or fittings.
Removing packing waste.
Agree which of these apply to each trip. Removal of packing material is not automatic, so ask whether it is taken away or left with you.
Delivery check
At delivery, check the carton count against the list agreed at pickup and also check the condition of the goods. Match carton IDs and counts to establish which packages arrived; intact outer packing does not establish the condition of all contents. Unpack fragile items soon and report any damage promptly, and note any visible concern with photos before the team leaves.
AC, Geyser, Electrical and Other Technical Work
Who does the work
Air conditioner removal and installation, geyser fitting, electrical, gas, plumbing, wall-mounted fittings and carpentry are technical tasks. They are done by a qualified specialist who is arranged and priced separately. Even where a booking includes one of these services, it is carried out by the qualified specialist and not by the ordinary packing crew.
For each task, ask who does it, whether the person is qualified for that work, whether it is in the estimate or charged on top, and when it fits the schedule at each address. Do not assume it is covered because the packing crew is coming.
Balcony and rope work
If an item has to go through a balcony with ropes or similar equipment, treat that as a separate assessment. It is considered only if a qualified operator is available, the lawful permissions are in place and the method is confirmed as feasible for your address. Do not assume that this capability exists for your move.
Why Choose ALPM for a Gandipet Move
The best reasons to choose a mover are the ones you can check before you book. ALPM's process is built around these:
An inventory and access check before the estimate is fixed, so floors, lifts, gates and the walk from the vehicle are counted and not guessed.
An itemised written scope that lists the packing, loading, transport, unloading and other tasks that are included, and the ones that are not.
An agreed moving window for pickup and delivery, with changes confirmed instead of assumed.
A delivery check of count and goods condition against the list agreed at pickup.
One company for household goods, a car and a bike, each quoted separately, for local or intercity moves.
Telangana GST registration, so tax can be shown clearly on the estimate and invoice.
ALPM is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, an independent company. Several movers use similar names, so check the company name, GST registration and written terms on any estimate you compare. Ask which of the arrangements above can be confirmed for your move, and keep the agreed scope and dates with your booking.

A far lower quote
Be cautious with an estimate that is far below the others. Check which tasks it leaves out, whether it assumes a smaller load than you actually have, and whether it rests on a phone description alone. A price that has not seen your inventory or your access is a guess, and the difference usually appears later.
Payment and changes
Ask for the advance payment terms, the payment stages, and the rules for cancelling or rescheduling in writing before you book, not on moving day.
How a Gandipet Move Runs: From Inventory to Handover
Step by step
Send the inventory. Share the room-by-room list, what you will pack yourself, both addresses and the dates you want, with photos or measurements of large furniture.
Check access. The booking team goes through floors, lifts, gates, the vehicle stop and the carry at both ends, and may ask for photos of the approach.
Receive the written scope. It lists packing, loading, transport, unloading and other tasks, marks the extras as included, extra or not applicable, and shows GST on its own line.
Agree the terms. Settle the moving window, the advance payment and stages, and the cancellation and rescheduling rules before you book.
Pack and label. Cartons and items carry the IDs and room labels agreed with ALPM, and your personal carry list stays separate.
Load and count. Goods are loaded against the agreed list and carton count.
Transport. Dates and timing are handled as set out in the intercity section where the move leaves Hyderabad.
Unload and check. The receiver checks count and condition against the list, and reports any visible concern before the team leaves.
Receiver and handover
A delivery works only if someone is ready to receive it. The receiver needs the keys, written authority to accept the goods, any gate permission, a usable path for the crew through a lift or stairs, and a room that is ready. Name a backup receiver with the same authority. If any of these cannot be confirmed, agree a new slot in writing or a confirmed, assessed holding arrangement, instead of unloading into a home that is not ready.
Before fixing the Gandipet moving date
Get the actual society or owner permission, lift slot and loading-point rules for both properties.
Send a walkthrough of every room, balcony, terrace and store before the estimate is finalised.
Measure the largest furniture against the full carrying path, including the turns inside a villa.
Arrange AC or geyser technicians alongside the packing slot if that work is needed.
Keep medicines, jewellery, cash, original papers and first-night essentials in your own bag.
Ask about alternative weekdays or dates early, especially around rental handovers and festivals; availability is confirmed for the booking.
Office Moves in Gandipet: Assets, IT and Staged Handover
Plan an office move around what people still need to work with, then ask whether a staged plan suits your load and dates.
Release and receiving
Give each workstation a zone ID and put the same ID on its cartons and equipment. Name the person who releases each zone at the old office and the person who receives it at the new one. Prepare a destination layout showing which zone goes where. At handover, check the count and the condition of the goods against the list.
Working equipment and non-essentials
Agree which desks, computers and phones need to stay usable before handover, and when each can be disconnected and packed. Archives, spare furniture and rarely used equipment can be packed earlier if the booking team confirms that arrangement.
IT, power and restart
Backups, disconnection, reconnection and testing of IT equipment are done by your own qualified IT team or by a qualified technician arranged for the purpose. Any IT service arranged through the move has its own scope and price; ordinary moving labour does not include network configuration. Decide with your IT team which laptops and drives travel with their owners and which are packed. Do not assume that all of them must be hand-carried. Plan the restart around your actual priorities, and do not expect zero downtime. Electrical work is done by a qualified electrician. Machinery is a separate job.
Staged trips
If a workstation must move in a later stage, ask whether a second trip or another date is available. Agree the carton counts, the slots and the receiving contact for each stage in writing. Extra visits are not assumed to be included.
Planning ranges
Office capacity is only a proxy. The real cost follows your actual asset load, qualified IT work and staged trips, and it may fall outside the bands below. These are budget references, not fixed prices.

Intercity Moves from Gandipet: Modes, Dates and Budget Ranges
Gandipet to Bangalore and other intercity routes
The local collection leg and the highway departure are different parts of an intercity move. Check which ORR approach and onward highway suit your actual address and destination; proximity to a junction does not remove loading, consolidation or delivery-slot time.
An intercity move is quoted on the actual route. It is not read from the local columns, and the estimate should identify the actual transport arrangement. Packing, loading and consolidation happen before the vehicle leaves Hyderabad. Transit is the part that follows dispatch.
Shared, part load and dedicated
A shared vehicle can carry a whole home if the volume and the dates fit. A part load is a portion of a shared vehicle. It can suit selected goods when the route, space and dates fit. A dedicated vehicle gives more control over dispatch, but it is not a guarantee of arrival time. Ask which arrangement your estimate assumes, and what happens if the vehicle cannot reach your gate.
Timing
Confirm the packing and pickup dates, the dispatch window and the expected delivery window separately. Transit starts when the vehicle leaves Hyderabad. Agree the destination unloading slot before departure and reconfirm it against the latest expected arrival. A separately transported car or bike has its own carrier window.
Budget ranges
Pick the band that matches the distance from Gandipet to your destination. A distance exactly at a band limit belongs to the shorter band. If you sit near the edge of two bands, ask for the estimate on your actual route. These are budget references, not fixed prices or a market average.

Distances beyond 2,300 km are quoted individually on the actual route. For selected items or part loads, the basis is the actual count, packed size, weight and volume, with a minimum, and not the whole BHK. Send your destination, inventory and whether you want a shared or dedicated vehicle.
What moves the price within a range
Distance and the destination's access, including the walk from the vehicle stop to the door.
The real inventory, not just the BHK label, especially heavy or bulky furniture.
Floors without a lift and the number of trips needed to carry goods.
How much the crew packs and the materials used.
Dismantling and refitting, glass and fragile items.
A shared or dedicated vehicle for intercity goods.
Dates in demand and any change to the agreed window.
Items to confirm in each estimate
Packing, labour and packing materials.
Dismantling of furniture, if you need it.
Unloading at the destination, and optional unpacking.
Whether tax applies, and how it is shown.
Whether any optional cover is offered, and on what terms.
Ask for each estimate to list what it includes and leaves out, so you can compare it on the same items and tasks.
Bike and Car Transport from Gandipet
Scope
Household and vehicle quotations are separate, even when they belong to the same family move. Each has its own scope, pickup, arrival and date. For a bike or car, share the make and model, the route, the pickup and drop points, and whether you want it collected from your gate or a nearby point. Ask the estimate to write out collection, delivery, wrapping or protection, loading and unloading, and to mark each as included or extra, not assumed. Also ask whether the vehicle is carried in an open or an enclosed carrier, and whether that choice is available for your route.
Before pickup
Photograph the vehicle on all sides, with the date visible, and note existing marks.
Record the odometer reading and the fuel level.
Remove personal items and agree what accessories stay.
Hand over the keys as agreed and give copies of any papers the maker or carrier asks for.
Follow the maker's or carrier's instruction on fuel and battery. There is no universal rule about draining fuel or disconnecting the battery.
Agree the delivery point and the check you will do on arrival.

Larger or premium cars, modified vehicles and vehicles that are not in running condition can change the price. A move of a vehicle inside Hyderabad, or a route beyond 2,300 km, needs a route quote.
Holding and Storage When Dates Do Not Match
Sometimes the pickup day arrives before the new place is ready. If that could be you, ask early whether a holding option is available for your move, and do not assume one is. It is only relevant if it is needed, feasible and confirmed.
Questions to settle
Which operator and which location would hold the goods, and whether they are available on your dates.
The item IDs and the actual condition of the goods when they are handed over for holding.
Who has access, and how access is arranged.
The duration, the rate and how partial months are charged.
How the goods leave holding, and what redelivery costs.
If holding is unavailable, agree a workable date or another arrangement before pickup.
Transfer between vehicles
A transfer to another vehicle is considered only if it is needed, lawful, feasible and confirmed, with a permitted location and an available operator. The crew carries the goods, unloads them and reloads them, and the cost of that local leg is counted once. Check the same item IDs and the condition of the goods at each handover.
Storage planning ranges
The duration limits are cumulative. Use the smallest limit that covers the proposed storage period, and ask how partial months are charged. The last column is only a starting budget reference for a duration agreed individually. It does not cover an unlimited stay and it is not an annual price. Confirm what the storage-period price covers and which packing, intake handling, exit handling or redelivery charges apply. Each accepted task should be counted once in the agreed total.

₹12,500–₹18,500
₹22,500–₹32,500
₹40,500–₹60,500
These are planning figures only. Whether storage can be arranged, where goods are kept and the final charge are confirmed for your booking.
Transit Cover and Claims
Transit cover is offered only where available, and on stated terms. If you want it, ask for the actual insurer's policy and read it. Ask about the declared value, the exclusions, any deductible and how a claim has to be reported. That cover sits alongside the carrier's own liability, and the two are not the same thing. Do not assume that cover means a full payout for every loss.
Most claims depend on records made at the start. Keep the item list, dated photos, the carton count and the condition noted at handover. Report any visible damage or missing item at delivery, before the team leaves, and follow the claim steps in the policy.
Questions before moving in Gandipet
What are ALPM's starting prices for a local move from Gandipet, and how do I read the ranges?
ALPM's local household starting prices are ₹5,500 for 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for 3 BHK. The final amount is confirmed for the actual inventory and scope. The planning ranges are budget references by distance. For example, a 2 BHK is ₹10,000–₹16,000 up to 12 km, ₹13,000–₹19,000 over 12 km up to 30 km and ₹15,000–₹24,000 over 30 km within Hyderabad. Your estimate follows the inventory, access and agreed tasks, with GST on its own line.
Does packing early mean a second trip or free holding?
No. Packing early only changes when an item is packed. It can still lead to one pickup under the agreed delivery plan. A separate later trip needs its own accepted address, date, receiver, item IDs and price, and it is charged for its actual scope once, without repeating the base work. Goods packed early that stay in your own home are in your custody unless a written holding arrangement says otherwise.
What if the new room or home is not ready on delivery day?
The receiver needs the keys, written authority to accept the goods, any gate permission, a usable path for the crew and a ready room. If any of these is missing, agree a new slot in writing or a confirmed, assessed holding arrangement. Items for a room that is not ready should move only on an accepted later trip or confirmed holding, not on assumption.
Are garden furniture, plants and swings included in a villa move?
Not automatically. Loose garden furniture should be clean and dry before loading. Potted plants, swings and other fixed items need a separate assessment and written acceptance. Moving garden items is not part of every house move, so list them in the inventory and ask for each to be marked as included or extra.
How do I know a wardrobe or large sofa will fit through my doors and stairs?
Decide whether each item travels whole or in panels, then measure it against the path at both ends. Check the path width, depth and height, the door and the lift cabin, and the stairs and landings. A smaller truck or a transfer does not fix a stair turn. If a check fails, agree an approved, lawful, assessed alternative, confirm that the design allows dismantling, agree a new slot, or exclude the item before booking.
What should I send so the crew can find my exact gate in Gandipet?
Send your house, community or villa name, flat and floor where they apply, your own postal PIN, and a map pin and photo of the gate. Add where a large vehicle can stop and how far that is from your door. A landmark such as CBIT helps orientation but does not give your PIN or any gate or road permission. The same applies to Kokapet, Narsingi or Aziz Nagar, which are only address orientation. Give each pickup and delivery its own set of details.
Who removes and installs the AC or geyser?
A qualified specialist does AC, geyser, electrical, gas, plumbing, wall-mounted and carpentry work, arranged and priced as its own line. Even if a booking includes one of these services, it is not done by the ordinary packing crew. Ask who does each task, whether they are qualified for it, and whether it is in the estimate or extra.
What should I know about shared and dedicated vehicles for an intercity move?
A shared vehicle can carry a whole home if volume and dates fit, and a part load is a portion of a shared vehicle, not a third mode. A dedicated vehicle gives more control over dispatch but does not guarantee arrival time. As budget references, a 3 BHK is ₹19,200–₹31,850 up to 350 km and ₹33,500–₹52,200 over 1,700 km up to 2,300 km. Beyond 2,300 km, the move is quoted on the actual route.
How much does it cost to move a bike or car, and what should I prepare?
As budget references, a bike is ₹3,800–₹6,220 up to 350 km and ₹7,760–₹13,150 over 1,700 km up to 2,300 km. A car is ₹6,550–₹8,750 up to 350 km and ₹13,040–₹17,550 over 1,700 km up to 2,300 km. Photograph the vehicle on all sides with the date, note the odometer and fuel level, remove personal items, give the keys and any papers requested, and follow the maker's or carrier's fuel and battery instruction. Collection, delivery and protection should be written down as included or extra.
What if I need storage between pickup and delivery?
Ask early whether holding is available for your move, and do not plan around it until it is confirmed. If it is arranged, settle the operator and location, the item IDs and condition, access, duration, rate and how the goods come out. As budget references, 1 BHK storage is ₹2,500–₹4,000 for up to 1 month and ₹5,500–₹8,500 for up to 3 months. The longer-stay column is a starting reference for an individually agreed duration, not an unlimited or annual price.
How should I check the delivery, and what does transit cover do?
Check the carton count against the agreed list and also check the condition of the goods. Sealed, intact cartons do not prove what is inside, so unpack fragile items soon and report any damage promptly. Transit cover is offered only where available and on stated terms. Ask for the insurer's policy, the declared value, the exclusions, any deductible and the claim steps, because it sits alongside the carrier's liability and does not mean a full payout.
Can an office move from Gandipet be done in stages, and who handles IT?
Ask whether a staged plan can be proposed for your enquiry. If so, assign zone IDs, name a release owner and a receiver for each stage, and agree carton counts and slots in writing. Your own qualified IT team, or a qualified technician arranged for the purpose, handles backup, disconnection, reconnection and testing, priced separately, with a restart plan and no promise of zero downtime. As a budget reference, an office of about 6 people is ₹13,500–₹25,500 up to 12 km, but capacity is only a proxy and staged trips or qualified IT work can fall outside it.
Can you plan villa shifting in Gandipet, Kokapet and Narsingi?
Yes. Send a floor-by-floor list including the terrace, garden furniture and storage rooms. The survey checks internal stair turns, packed furniture dimensions, gate access and the receiving home. Fixed outdoor items, plants and specialist work need their own assessment.
Can I move only a few items near CBIT or MGIT?
Yes. List the goods you own, their approximate dimensions and carton count, with both addresses. A bed, fridge or desk with cartons is assessed as a selected-item move, including any minimum charge, rather than automatically as a full BHK. Confirm rental or hostel checkout requirements with the property contact.
How early should I enquire about a Gandipet move?
Around five to seven days is a useful enquiry lead time for a straightforward local move; allow more for a large villa, intercity load, festival or month-end date. This is planning advice, not an availability guarantee. Confirm society permission, technician appointments and the booked slot before fixing your travel.
Will I get a GST bill, and is ALPM a separate company?
ALPM operates as Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers under published GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC. Ask for the applicable tax and billing details on the estimate and invoice, including employer reimbursement details where needed. It is an independent business; check the name and GSTIN because other movers may use similar names.
