Packers and Movers in Kokapet, Hyderabad

For a Kokapet house move, share the project, phase, tower, floor and goods entrance before choosing the vehicle. If you are moving into a newly handed-over flat, tell us what is ready and which furniture vendors or technicians are still due. The plan needs room for the load as well as a working lift and a receiving slot.

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) provides household, office and vehicle moving options from its Old Bowenpally base. Local household guides start from ₹5,500 for 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for 3 BHK. The final quote follows the inventory, packing, floors and access at both ends. Below are the cost details, Kokapet-area checks, new-flat receiving worksheet and outstation guides.

Local shifting charges in Kokapet

These are the indicative local starting points for a household move in and around Kokapet. They show where a standard move begins after the inventory and access are assessed. They are not a flat tariff.

Indicative local household starting points, Kokapet
Home sizeIndicative local starting point
1 BHKFrom ₹5,500
2 BHKFrom ₹8,500
3 BHKFrom ₹12,500

What a starting point covers

A local starting point is built on the base job: packing labour and materials, loading, road transport between the two addresses, unloading, and dismantling and refitting of the furniture we agree to handle. These are listed once. The written quote also says which other work was assessed and whether it is included, charged as an extra amount, or not applicable.

Stairs, a missing lift or fragile items are not an automatic extra on top of that base. If the survey finds a condition that really changes the work, the quote shows it as one clear line, not as a second charge for the same job. GST is a separate line, and the quote states the treatment that actually applies to your scope. Specialist work, such as AC gas work, electrical or plumbing work, carpentry or IT set-up, is assessed separately.

Larger homes and few-item moves

Four-bedroom homes, villas, very small moves of a few items (1 RK or less) and local office moves are quoted from the actual inventory, not read off the table. Send a room-by-room list or walk us through the home on a video call. A few-item local move is priced on its own list. It is not automatically put on a shared vehicle.

Comparing this quote with others

Different movers publish different opening numbers for Kokapet, and a low number is only comparable if it covers the same packing, labour, vehicle and furniture work. Put the same inventory and the same services in front of each mover, then compare the totals and how clearly each one is written.

What a Kokapet quote should itemise

A useful quote separates the parts of the job so you can see what moves the price. These are the lines worth asking every mover for.

Cost components and what changes them
ComponentWhat it coversWhat changes it
Packing materialsCartons, bubble wrap, foam, stretch film, protective coversAmount of fragile items, kitchenware, books and electronics
LabourCrew time for packing, loading, unloading and unpacking where agreedFloors, lift use, length of the carry, heavy pieces
Vehicle and transportThe vehicle and the run between the two buildingsVolume, route, number of trips, waiting at a gate or lift

GSTShown as its own lineThe treatment that applies to the actual scope
Add-onsConfirmed holding, vehicle carriers, extra tripsDuration, vehicle type and route

The date also matters. Ask whether an alternative permitted date changes availability, vehicle choice or cost for your particular booking. Anything left out of the price should be written next to it, for example whether appliance technicians are arranged by us or by you.

Kokapet, Neopolis and nearby areas are not the same address

Kokapet is a large locality in West Hyderabad close to the Financial District. People search for Kokapet, Neopolis, Golden Mile, Narsingi, Gandipet and the Financial District almost interchangeably, but a vehicle drives to a pin, a gate and a building, not to an area name. We need the one the building actually uses.

What to tell us about each end

  • The area name as the building itself writes it
  • The project name, phase, tower or block, and floor
  • The gate the vehicle should use, and the service or goods entry if there is one
  • Where the vehicle can stop, and how far that is from the lift lobby

Two addresses that both say Kokapet can sit on different roads with different gates and different distances to the lift. A quote built on the wrong gate leads to a day that runs differently from the plan. A tower name and a loading point given early let us price the carry instead of guessing it. The starting points above stay the same reference across these areas. What changes a quote is the route, the gate, the lift and the length of the carry.

Kokapet, Neopolis and Nearby Moves: Connect Both Buildings

Neopolis is a named Kokapet layout, while projects described by Golden Mile, Narsingi, Gandipet or the Financial District side can have different gates and approaches. Start with the exact project and phase, then send the entrance pin used by that building. Do not use a broad layout name as evidence that the road, service lift or possession arrangements are ready.

Local destinations to plan together

Destination checks for a Kokapet local move
Destination enquiryWhat to compare with the Kokapet pickup
Narsingi, Puppalaguda or ManikondaActual lane or tower, vehicle standing point, large-piece fit and carrying time
Financial District, Nanakramguda or GachibowliSeparate residential and workplace addresses; confirm the correct goods gate, building permission and receiving contact
Kondapur, Madhapur or Hitech CityLift booking and complete unloading hours matched to packing finish and the assessed city road leg
Tellapur, Kollur or another new-property destinationActual project, phase, working approach, utilities and room readiness before dispatch
Kukatpally, Miyapur, Begumpet or SecunderabadBoth full addresses and the chosen vehicle’s suitable route, without assuming every trip uses the ORR or takes the same hours

The Gachibowli moving guide and Kondapur guide can help with those specific drop areas. For a move into Kokapet, apply the same checks in reverse: complete the receiving plan before the old home is loaded. A short city journey does not make lift queues or vendor deliveries disappear.

Choosing a vehicle without guessing from the BHK

A few-item move, a lightly furnished flat and a full family home need different capacity. Share the full packed volume and your largest pieces. Truck descriptions such as a small tempo, 14 ft or 17–19 ft body are only size labels; confirm the usable body dimensions, payload, weather protection and gate fit for the allotted vehicle. A larger vehicle is useful only if both buildings can accommodate the arrangement.

Tower, lift and fit checks

Many Kokapet homes are in high-rise towers, so the lift is usually the main route for goods. Buildings differ. Some have a goods lift, some allow the passenger lift at set times, and some book slots through the facility office. Confirm this for each end instead of assuming it.

Questions to settle before the day

  • Which lift or entrance is used for goods, and is a slot needed?
  • Is there a time window for moving in or out?
  • Where can the vehicle stop, and is there a limit on vehicle size?
  • Is the route from the lift to your door clear of bends, steps or narrow corridors?

Check the whole piece and its panels

For each large item, measure the fully packed piece and also the largest panel it separates into. Note width, height and depth for both. Compare each set with the door opening, the lift cabin width, height and depth, and the stair turn and landing, at both the pickup and the delivery building. A piece that passes at one end can fail at the other.

Dismantling is considered only where the design permits it. It is not automatic, and some pieces are not meant to be taken apart. A smaller truck does not fix a lift fit. Where we dismantle, we protect the surfaces, label the panels, keep fittings in a bag and avoid adhesive on finished surfaces.

If a piece will not pass, it is far better to learn that at the survey. Before loading, the choices are a suitable permitted handling route with qualified help, a new slot, or leaving that piece out of the move. After loading, the choice is a later agreed unloading time or confirmed storage or holding. The piece is not abandoned and not simply excluded.

Society NOC, deposits and the goods gate

Ask your facility office whether it requires a move-in or move-out permission, NOC, vehicle details, crew list or deposit. Use that building’s current process rather than treating one society’s rules as rules for all Kokapet towers. Confirm which gate is for goods, any height or vehicle-size limit and the standing point outside a basement or ramp. A passenger entry pass does not establish permission for a loaded truck.

Moving into a newly possessed home in Kokapet

A new flat can look finished and still not be ready to receive a full load. A short walk-through a few days ahead is better than a loaded vehicle waiting at the gate.

What ready actually means

  • Keys and authority: you hold the keys and have the right to let goods in and receive them
  • Property permission: a move-in slot, or a society or builder permission, wherever the property actually requires one
  • A clear, safe path: a working lift or route that goods can take, with a clear way to the flat door
  • An agreed unloading time: a time the building has agreed for the move
  • Capacity: enough usable, dry and protected floor space for the goods that will arrive

Having the keys is not the same as being ready, and an unfinished room is not automatically a valid place to unload. Power and water matter too, so beds can be reassembled and appliances tested. Check what carpentry, painting, wardrobe or kitchen work is still pending, and whether floors are cleaned and protected.

The unloading rule

All goods are unloaded and placed safely within the agreed unloading time first. Unpacking happens later. We do not leave goods on the truck because a room was not finished. If the first room can be given priority without making the load sequence unsafe, we do that. If not, the crew follows the safe unloading sequence.

If the home is only partly ready, tell us when you book so the plan can be made in advance. The next section shows how to do that room by room.

A weekend or griha-pravesam move

If a family entry time or handover deadline is fixed, explain which part of the move must meet it. Ask early about actual availability and the building’s hours, and arrange any separate essentials trip explicitly. Check the flat again before dispatch if carpentry, painting or a vendor delivery changes the receiving space. In rain, protect the carrying path and keep incoming goods dry rather than relying on extra outer film.

A room-by-room receiving plan for a new flat

In a new Kokapet flat, your existing furniture and appliances may arrive alongside new vendor deliveries while builder-fitted items are already in place. Filling in a short worksheet per room before the move shows where each item goes and who receives it.

Planning example for a new flat, not a recorded job
Room and ready stateGoods arrivingFixtures staying and assembly spaceReceiver, slot and fallback
Bedroom: keys held, path clear, floor protectedExisting bed and mattress; a separate new wardrobe deliveryKeep the builder-fitted wardrobe and its work area clear. Record packed pieces and panel sizes for the incoming furniture, leaving the required assembly areaOne named receiver, in the accepted slot. If vendor work is delayed, use only an agreed safe placement area with enough capacity; otherwise re-slot that delivery
Kitchen: power on, counters in placeExisting appliances; one new appliance deliveryBuilder-fitted items stay. Appliance restart waits for model instructions and powerReceiver confirms the appliance position before unloading. Items are not moved into a work zone
Dry receiving area: ready, protected, with capacity assessed for the loadCartons grouped by room; spare furnitureAllow space for any later furniture assembly; keep the carrying and common paths clearReceiver and slot match the lift booking. Used only if the capacity is real
Room not ready: fit-out pendingNot allocatedHeavy goods are not routed through the work zone or across the common pathDelay or re-slot before loading, or use confirmed partial staging or holding if usable space fits

How to fill it in

  • List each room and its ready state: keys, authority, path, power, protection
  • Separate your existing goods from new vendor items, and note what is staying in the flat as fixtures
  • For anything large, write the fully packed size and the largest panel size, and mark where it will be assembled
  • Name the person who receives each room and the slot at the building

If a room is not ready

Before loading, the options are to delay, to book a new slot, or to confirm a partial staging place or storage, but only if the approved space is usable and its capacity fits the goods. Check that the allocated space can hold the actual packed load without obstructing access or unfinished work. After loading, the options are a later agreed unloading time or confirmed storage or holding.

Furniture vendors, technicians and the first room

Several deliveries through one lift and one entrance slow all of them down. Agree a plan with the building and with each vendor so that the move is not competing for the same hour.

Sequencing the day

  1. Name one person at the flat to receive and direct everything.
  2. Ask vendors and technicians to book their own slots with the building, and keep them off the hours reserved for the move where you can.
  3. Unload all goods safely within the agreed unloading time first, grouped by room.
  4. Assemble frames and set up beds and wardrobes once the load is in.
  5. Leave AC installation, geyser fitting and similar work for when walls and floors are clear.

For a family home, the first room is usually a bedroom plus the kitchen basics, with an essentials box kept separate and the rest unpacked over the following days. We aim for that first room when the load and unload sequence allows it safely. We do not apply a fixed rule such as beds first and cartons last when that would block a path or put goods at risk. Qualified work on AC gas lines, electrical, plumbing, carpentry or IT is a separate scope with its own technician.

Tenants, owners and what we can move

Walk through the old home before packing and agree which goods leave and which fittings stay. The moving list should match the items you are authorised to take.

Tenants and new owners

  • Separate landlord-supplied furniture and appliances from the items on your moving list. Settle what stays at handover before it is packed.
  • In a newly owned flat, note existing builder-fitted units so they are not mistaken for incoming furniture or used as a place to stack cartons.
  • Photograph the fixed items staying behind, and list the outgoing furniture and appliances with size and condition.

Leased and business equipment

Check the relevant agreement and release instructions for hired equipment or goods held for a business or another person. Resolve any uncertainty with the responsible owner or custodian before putting an item on the loading list.

Fixed fittings

For a wall-mounted television, split AC, geyser or chimney, confirm that removal is agreed with the responsible person and that the appropriate qualified technician will do it. State who handles removal, transport preparation and refitting in the quote.

Packing, appliances and the luggage you keep

Materials matched to the item

Use cushioning and suitable rigid protection for glassware, mirrors, screens and other fragile pieces. Where the assessment calls for a crate, include that method in the agreed scope. Surface wrap helps protect finishes from scuffs and dust; it is not a substitute for impact protection.

Boxes you pack yourself

If you pack part of the home, agree which boxes the team will accept, whether an inspection is needed before loading and how they will be handled. Ask how your booking and any cover terms apply to self-packed cartons. Number them and keep a contents list without putting sensitive information on the outside.

Appliance preparation and restart

Follow the model manual for both preparation and restart. A washing machine may require the correct transit bolts fitted for transport and removed before use. Refrigerators have their own preparation and restart instructions. Agree any AC gas work, electrical work, plumbing or other specialist disconnection and refitting with a qualified person before moving day.

Decide which luggage stays with you

Suitcases can end up in the moving pile even when you meant to keep them close. This photograph shows wrapped luggage grouped with cartons and taller packed items, all ready to be counted as separate packages.

Before a Kokapet move, decide which bags travel with the load and which stay with you. Keep keys, documents, medicines and first-night clothing out of the dispatch pile. List each remaining suitcase rather than treating all luggage as one item.

If possession at the new home is still being confirmed, agree the receiving arrangements before loading. Give the team a clear first-room plan so the items you need early do not disappear behind furniture and unopened boxes.

Office moves from Kokapet

For an office in a commercial tower, confirm access hours, lift use and the building’s moving arrangements. For other premises, check the actual entrance and carrying path. We survey with an asset list and the access details of both buildings, and we price from that.

Local Hyderabad office guide, applied to a Kokapet survey
Type of office moveIndicative local range
Some office goods relocation₹4,500–₹9,500
Complete office shifting₹6,000–₹19,000

The range is wide because an office is defined by its assets, not by a headcount or seat count. It depends on the furniture, IT equipment and files, the floors and lifts, whether the move is on a weekend or after hours, and how much workstation dismantling is needed. Specialist IT or technician work is assessed separately.

Assets, release and IT

  • Assets are listed with IDs and count, condition and packed size
  • A named person authorises the release at the old office and another receives at the new one
  • Before the move, IT equipment is backed up and disconnected. It is reconnected, tested and restarted with qualified staff and working power
  • Servers, safes and industrial equipment need an explicit assessment first
  • Choose who carries essential personal devices and sensitive documents. Business assets follow the company’s release and receiving authority. Use destination labels and asset IDs without passwords or sensitive file contents

Agree the equipment restart plan with the responsible IT person, including backup, working power, reconnection and testing.

Services offered and how to choose

We handle household moves from a single room to a full home, few-item and part-load moves, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, furniture dismantling and reassembly, office shifting, vehicle transport, and holding where it suits the move. Not every move needs all of them.

Shared and dedicated

A shared load can carry a whole home when the capacity and dates fit. Consolidation happens before dispatch, and it does not require a truck to be full. A part-load is a portion of that shared capacity, not a third kind of service. A dedicated vehicle is allocated to your goods. Compare the loading, dispatch and delivery windows before booking either mode.

Leaving Hyderabad from Kokapet: intercity moves and vehicles

Moves that leave Hyderabad are priced on their own route. The figures below are Hyderabad corridor references for a compact 2 BHK. They are not an exact Kokapet gate distance. The Kokapet pickup pin, the destination, the full inventory and the vehicle decide the final quote. Each route also has its own page.

Compact 2 BHK references from the Hyderabad corridor

Sedan or SUV, carrier₹10,500–₹13,000₹13,000–₹16,000

These are route and model figures, not a fixed price for every car. The exact model and carrier availability are confirmed against the carrier’s collection and delivery calendar. Confirm whether the quoted sedan or SUV service uses an open or enclosed carrier. A closed carrier is quoted separately. Premium vehicles, EVs and non-running vehicles are all assessed before a quote.

Before the vehicle is collected

  • Agree the collection and delivery points, protection, loading and unloading responsibility, and the amount included for each
  • Photograph all sides, record existing marks and the odometer, and note the keys and any accessories handed over
  • Follow the maker’s and carrier’s instructions on fuel and battery preparation. There is no single rule for every model
  • Carry documents, cash, jewellery and medicines yourself. Ask which items the carrier declines, and do not leave heavy goods inside the vehicle

Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai route enquiries

Use the Hyderabad to Bangalore guide, Chennai guide or Mumbai guide when that is your destination. Those pages cover their own charges and transit planning. Keep the Kokapet gate and lift details in the booking, and do not apply the Pune or Vizag table to a different city.

Records, claims and holding

Paperwork on a move has one job: to show what went into the vehicle and in what condition, so anything that changes can be traced.

Before loading

  • A written inventory agreed by you and the crew lead, with high-value items listed individually
  • Dated photos of furniture, appliances and any vehicle, showing existing marks
  • A note of items already damaged or not working
  • The quote showing the services included and what is charged separately

At delivery

Check cartons and large pieces against the inventory as they come off, and report visible damage promptly with the crew present, with photos of the item and its labels. The written booking terms say what cover applies and how a claim is raised. Ask for those terms before the day, and rely on what is written in them. Keep the inventory, booking terms, condition records and reporting correspondence together.

Holding and transfers

Holding is available only as a confirmed arrangement. Before you agree to it, ask for the operator, the location, who has custody, the item IDs and count, the condition on entry, access, the duration, the rate, and how and when the goods are redelivered. Confirm these details before relying on storage between the two addresses. Where goods must be moved to another vehicle or location, we transfer them only if it is assessed as permitted and workable, with the operator, location, crew, carry, unload and reload, and the cost stated once, and the item IDs, count, condition and custody changes are recorded.

Before dispatch

Confirm the receiver, their keys and authority, any property permission, a clear, safe path and the agreed unloading time, and recheck if the ETA changes.

Why choose ALPM and how booking works

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers is a Hyderabad business based at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. We work from an inventory and access check, give a written scope and estimate, agree a moving window with you, and hand over each item against the list. We quote what is in your home and your building, not an assumed average.

How to choose a mover

  • Ask each mover to price the same inventory and the same services
  • Look for written lines for packing, labour, transport, furniture and appliance work, and GST
  • Ask what is not included, and who arranges any technician
  • Ask for the tower, lift and slot plan, not only a total

How booking works

  1. Send the form details, or call 94 671 86 002, with the pickup and delivery addresses, tower and floor, the home size, and the date you need.
  2. Share a room-by-room list or a short video, with the lift and door measurements for large items.
  3. Receive a written quote and scope, with the services included and anything charged separately.
  4. Confirm the moving window and the building slots at both ends.
  5. On the day, packing, loading, transport, unloading and handover follow the agreed inventory, with each item checked against the list at delivery.

Kokapet House Shifting and Moving FAQs

How much does local shifting cost in Kokapet?
Indicative local starting points are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. The starting point covers packing labour and materials, loading, transport, unloading and agreed furniture dismantling and refitting. GST appears as its own line. Specialist work is assessed separately, and larger homes, villas, few-item moves and local offices are quoted from the actual inventory.
Does the price change between Kokapet, Neopolis, Narsingi, Gandipet and Financial District?
The starting points are the same indicative references. What changes a quote is the route between the two addresses, the gate, the lift, the length of the carry and the vehicle stop. So the exact project, tower and loading point matter more than the area name.
What should I send for a move in or out of a Kokapet tower?
Send the project name, phase, tower or block, floor, the gate and service entry to use, and where the vehicle can stop. Add the lift door and cabin measurements, the sizes of large pieces, and a room-by-room list or short video of the home. The team can then assess the carrying work and confirm whether a visit or further measurements are needed.
Will my large furniture fit in the lift?
We compare the fully packed piece and its largest separated panel, in width, height and depth, with the door opening, the lift cabin and the stair turn and landing, at both buildings. Dismantling is used only where the design permits it, and a smaller truck does not solve a lift fit. If a piece will not pass, the options are a feasible and lawful alternative, a new slot, or leaving that piece out of the move before loading.
Can you move me into a flat I have just taken possession of?
Yes. Before the day, check that you hold the keys and the authority to receive goods, that any property permission is in place, that there is a usable path and an accepted slot, and that the receiving space has real capacity. Power, water and pending fit-out also matter. All goods are unloaded and placed within the accepted slot, and unpacking follows later.
What if only one room is ready in my new flat?
A single ready room is valid only if it can actually hold the goods, with a clear path and space to assemble large pieces. If it cannot, the choices before loading are to delay, take a new slot, or use confirmed partial staging or holding where the approved space is usable. After loading, it is a later accepted slot or confirmed holding. Heavy goods are not routed through a work zone or across a common path.
Can you plan around furniture deliveries and technicians on moving day?
Yes. Share the expected vendor and technician times and name one person to receive each room. Ask vendors to book their own building slots so they do not compete with the move for the lift. We unload all goods safely within the accepted slot first, then assembly and unpacking follow. The first room gets priority only when that sequence is safe.
As a tenant, how do I separate my goods from items that stay?
Walk through before packing, separate landlord-supplied furniture and appliances from your moving list, and agree what stays at handover. For leased or business equipment, follow the relevant agreement and release instructions. Fixed fittings should only be removed when that work is agreed and the appropriate qualified technician is arranged.
What does an office move from Kokapet cost?
As a local Hyderabad guide, some office goods relocation is indicatively ₹4,500–₹9,500 and complete office shifting ₹6,000–₹19,000. The range reflects the assets, the floors and lifts, the hours allowed and how much workstation dismantling is needed. It is not set by seat count or headcount, and specialist IT work is assessed separately. A survey with an asset list and the access details gives the quote.
How is a part-load or few-items move priced?
From the actual items. A few large pieces locally are priced from their list, the floors and lifts at both ends and the vehicle needed. They are not automatically put on a shared vehicle. For an intercity shared load, a part-load is a portion of the shared capacity. For transport-only scope, we write down who loads, who unloads and who carries at each end.
What should I expect if I am moving from Kokapet to Vijayawada, Pune or Visakhapatnam?
These routes are priced on their own. The Hyderabad corridor references for a compact 2 BHK are ₹16,000–₹25,000 shared or ₹23,500–₹33,000 dedicated for Vijayawada, ₹19,500–₹29,500 or ₹28,000–₹39,000 for Pune, and ₹20,000–₹30,500 or ₹28,500–₹40,000 for Visakhapatnam. Transit days are counted from dispatch: dedicated 2–3 days for Pune and 2–4 days for Visakhapatnam, shared 4–6 and 5–7 days. For Vijayawada, dedicated can be same or next day only if scheduling fits, and shared is confirmed against the actual calendar.
How do I move a scooter or car from Kokapet?
A vehicle is booked separately from the household load, with its own calendar, collection and delivery points, and condition record. On the Vijayawada route a scooter up to 150 cc is ₹4,000–₹5,000 and a hatchback on an open carrier ₹8,500–₹10,500. On the Visakhapatnam route they are ₹5,000–₹6,000 and ₹10,500–₹13,000. The exact model and carrier are confirmed first, closed carriers are quoted separately, and premium, EV and non-running vehicles are assessed before a quote.
Does a Kokapet society require a NOC or move-in deposit?
Ask the facility office for that property’s current requirements. Confirm any NOC, move-in or move-out permission, vehicle details, crew registration, deposit and permitted hours before booking. These are building-specific arrangements, not one rule for every Kokapet project.
How early should I book a weekend or fixed-entry-time move?
Enquire once the inventory and receiving date are known, and explain any fixed family entry time or handover deadline. Confirm actual vehicle availability, packing start and both buildings’ moving hours. A separate essentials trip, if needed, must be arranged rather than assumed.
Which truck should I choose for a Kokapet flat?
Choose after assessing the full packed load, largest pieces, payload, body dimensions and access at both ends. BHK count or a truck’s length label alone is not enough. Check the goods gate, ramp or height limits and the route from the vehicle to the lift.
Can I use one local estimate for Narsingi, Tellapur or Financial District?
Get the estimate for the two actual properties. Local starting figures are budget references; project, phase, gate, road leg, lift and carrying work affect the quote. The same locality label does not make different buildings the same job.
