Packers and Movers Hyderabad to Delhi: Charges and Route
Moving from Hyderabad to Delhi is a road journey of about 1,550 km. For a 2 BHK, the planning range is ₹23,500–₹36,500 before GST. Allow around 4 to 7 days after dispatch for household goods, with packing, loading and any shared-load waiting time counted separately.
ALPM takes enquiries for full house shifting, selected furniture, office assets, bikes and cars. First, settle the actual destination: Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad or Ghaziabad. The state, property and goods entrance affect the plan. Share the final item list and both complete addresses for a quote that covers your own load and doors.

Packers and Movers Hyderabad to Delhi Charges: Household, Bike, Car and Office
Use these ranges to plan the budget, then compare a quote for your final inventory, dates and access. Providers may price different work, so check the packing, handling and delivery scope alongside the total.

3 BHK

4 BHK
₹34,500 to ₹48,000
The household base covers packing labour and materials, loading, road transport, unloading and the dismantling and assembly listed in the estimate. GST is separate. Check the carrying distance, stairs, fragile-item protection, unpacking and placement at both ends, then mark what is included, extra with its amount, or not needed. A crate or stair carry should not become an unexplained automatic surcharge; price the actual work before booking.
What moves a household figure
The real volume and weight of your goods, which a house size only approximates.
Floors, lift size and the distance from where a vehicle can stop to your door, at both ends.
How much is packed by the crew and how much you pack yourself.
Heavy, tall or delicate pieces that need separate protection.
Whether goods travel in a shared load or a dedicated vehicle, and your date.
Bike and car
A bike or scooter is guided at ₹7,000 to ₹12,500. A larger, electric or crated bike is quoted individually. Cars are guided by model because carrier space and handling differ.

The car ranges come from a broad distance-band guide for moves of roughly 1,200 to 1,800 km. They are not a Delhi route tariff. For each vehicle, ask whether collection, delivery, protection, loading and unloading are included or extra, and which carrier type and date are proposed.
Office and few-item moves
An office move is priced from your actual asset list, so there is no fixed figure here. For a few items, such as a bed, a wardrobe and some cartons, the quote depends on the packed size, weight and volume, the packing work and the transport arrangement. Ask what the charge is based on and whether a minimum charge applies. Acceptance for your date is confirmed by the booking team.
A hypothetical budget example
This is an illustration of how the guides add together, not a job, bill or customer record. Take a 2 BHK flat with a hatchback travelling separately. The household guide is ₹23,500 to ₹36,500 and the hatchback guide is ₹10,000 to ₹13,000, which gives a planning range of ₹33,500 to ₹49,500. Whether dismantling, unpacking or placement are included is settled on the quotation, and any extra charge is agreed before booking.
Choosing Truck Space for a Hyderabad to Delhi Household Move
A BHK count is a starting point, not a truck specification. A large sofa, two wardrobes and a double-door fridge can need more usable space than many cartons. The survey should cover packed dimensions, total weight, furniture protection and the final delivery approach.
Choose capacity from the load and delivery plan
Load or constraint
What to compare
Few items, student luggage or 1 RK
Shared space against a separate vehicle quote, including packing, both local legs, handling and any minimum charge
1–2 BHK household
Actual furniture, appliances and cartons; shared capacity when dates fit, or a dedicated vehicle plan
3–4 BHK or a large home
Total packed volume and weight, panel sizes and protection space, rather than a fixed truck length assigned by bedroom count
Restricted Delhi entrance or stopping point
Proposed vehicle category and permitted approach, then the separate indoor path for the goods and any local transfer cost
If a quote mentions a 14, 17, 20 or 24-foot body, ask about its usable dimensions, payload and body type. The length alone does not establish that the load fits or that the truck can reach your gate. A smaller final-delivery vehicle may help road access, but it does not change a narrow stair or lift.
Delhi, Haryana or Uttar Pradesh: Settle the Exact Address First
People say Delhi for almost any address around the capital, but the state and the actual entrance decide what has to be confirmed. The National Capital Region Planning Board describes the region as the whole of the National Capital Territory of Delhi together with districts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Write the actual state and local address on the booking rather than using NCR as the delivery address.
Gurugram and Faridabad are in Haryana. Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad are in Uttar Pradesh. Give the actual city and state at enquiry so the route, access, availability and price are checked for that endpoint.

A map pin and a photo of the entrance a goods vehicle would actually use.
Lift availability and size, and the carry from where a vehicle can stop to your door.
The name and number of the person receiving the goods, with a backup.
The Hyderabad pickup needs the same details. Ask your housing society, building management or workplace what it requires for a moving vehicle, and pass on what it confirms.
Dwarka, Rohini, South Delhi or NCR: Details to Send for Your Door
The city name is only the first part of the delivery address. Give the block, pocket, sector or phase as used by your property, with its house or flat number and the correct goods entrance.
Local address details for the final delivery

Ask your own society, landlord or office manager about approvals, service-lift reservations and unloading hours. Building rules are separate from traffic or vehicle-entry orders. For a later local move within the capital, the Delhi local moving page covers a different scope from this intercity quote.
The Final Approach: Goods Vehicle Entry, Your Private Car and a Possible Transfer
On this route the vehicle that makes the long run is not always the one that reaches your door, and a large goods vehicle can be limited in where and when it may stop. Two checks are easy to mix up. The carrier checks whether its goods vehicle may enter and deliver. If you are shipping a private car, you separately check whether that car can be used and registered where you plan to keep it.
The carrier’s check for goods vehicles
The carrier confirms, for your actual date and destination, the current orders of the relevant authorities for its vehicle category, any local entry or loading window, and what applies to the vehicle type proposed. It tells you the outcome in writing. Ask for this check again near dispatch, because active orders and the permitted approach can change after booking.
Your check with the building
Your society or building management has its own conditions, such as gate access, lift use, a time slot and any approval for a moving vehicle. These differ from the authorities’ orders and from one building to the next.
Settle the last-leg decision before dispatch
Final-approach decision points
Point to settle
What to record
Vehicle and stopping point
Which vehicle is proposed for the final delivery, and the lawful, permitted point where it can stop
Usable path for the goods
Whether the door, lift cabin, stair turns and landings allow your largest pieces to be carried in
If a transfer is needed
The operator, the location, who carries, whether goods are unloaded and reloaded, the local leg, and the cost
Receiver and authority window
The named person with keys and authority to receive the goods, confirmed gate permission, a usable goods path and the agreed unloading slot
Package IDs, counts and condition
Item IDs, counts and the actual goods condition at every change of custody, before and after a transfer
If a suitable, permitted transfer is needed, agree its operator, handling and cost before dispatch. A smaller truck changes where a vehicle can reach, but it does not fix a stair, a turn or a lift that a piece cannot physically pass. If a workable approach cannot be found, ask for a changed window or a different arrangement, and do not accept extra handling that has not been priced.
GRAP and the proposed goods vehicle
Delhi/NCR pollution-control actions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) can change the conditions for vehicle categories. Have the carrier check the active CAQM and relevant transport/traffic orders for the proposed vehicle, destination and moving date. A building’s gate pass does not replace that check, and permission for the carrier does not establish whether your private car can be used there.
The Hyderabad to Delhi Route: About 1,550 km and a 4 to 7 Day Planning Window
The driving-map reference used for this guide showed about 1,551 km via NH161 and NE4. Alternatives of about 1,555 km via NH44 and the Yamuna Expressway, and about 1,643 km via NH44, also appeared, so the distance is best taken as about 1,550 km. A map shows a passenger-road route. The carrier chooses the route that suits a goods vehicle, and the driving time a map shows for a passenger car, about 27 hours, is not a delivery time for household goods.

Confirm the carrier’s proposed road corridor and final city approach when agreeing the dispatch and receiving plan.
A provisional 4 to 7 day window
For household goods, plan about 4 to 7 days after dispatch. Confirm the booking-specific dispatch and delivery windows. Packing, consolidation and loading all come before dispatch, so they sit outside that window, and the booking team confirms your actual dates. A car runs on its own carrier calendar, so plan its date and its receiver separately from your household goods.
Fog, Heat and Moving Dates for the Delhi Journey
Plan the family’s travel and the goods arrival as separate schedules. A joining date or possession date should leave room for receiving, unpacking and any work needed before the home or office is usable.
Fog or poor visibility: use the forecast and the carrier’s updated arrival window for the northern approach. Keep warm clothing and first-night essentials with the family.
Air-quality restrictions: ask for the carrier’s current category-specific entry check and any changed approach or unloading window, rather than adding a fixed buffer day.
Summer heat: identify temperature-sensitive items and follow their storage instructions. Agree where packed goods wait before loading instead of leaving them exposed outdoors.
Rain: confirm dry staging and suitable protection for the outdoor carrying stretch at both properties.
Month-end and festivals: compare availability early. Alternative weekdays help only when both buildings allow the moving slot.
For a full home, starting enquiries one or two weeks ahead gives preparation time; allow more for a large load or busy date where possible. Confirm actual crew, carrier, packing and dispatch arrangements before booking.
Shared, Part-Load or Dedicated Vehicle: Choosing the Transport Arrangement
Shared and dedicated are the two arrangements for household goods. A shared load puts your goods on a vehicle with other consignments. That can suit a whole home as well as smaller loads, provided the vehicle has the capacity and the dates fit. Part load simply describes a smaller quantity of goods, such as a few pieces of furniture, and it is not a third mode. It is moved shared or dedicated like any other load.
Transport arrangements on this route
Arrangement
Usually considered for
Trade-off
Shared load
Smaller loads, selected items, or a whole home where capacity and dates fit
Dispatch depends on how the load is combined with others
Dedicated vehicle
Larger households or loads that need set loading order
More agreed control over loading and dispatch, which is not a promise of arrival on a given day
Bike or car carrier
Vehicles moving separately
Runs on its own date, and the carrier type is named in the quotation
Ask which arrangement your quotation assumes and how it affects your dispatch date. Ask the contact named in your booking for the agreed way of receiving updates, and do not assume live tracking unless it is confirmed.
Moving Services for Hyderabad to Delhi
Choose the jobs you want the crew to handle, then check that the estimate lists them clearly for your load and both addresses.
Full household moves
For a home, the crew packs room by room, tags and numbers cartons and furniture, loads, transports and unloads. Dismantling, reassembly, unpacking and room placement are agreed task by task. Send a room-by-room inventory, photos of large and fragile items and the access details from both ends.
Selected items and luggage-type loads
If you are moving a bed, a wardrobe and some cartons, or sending luggage-type loads ahead of you, list each item with its size and say what stays behind. Acceptance for your date, and whether the load goes shared or dedicated, are confirmed by the booking team.
Office relocation
Office moves cover physical assets: desks, chairs, cabinets, monitors, printers and similar equipment. The scope is built from your asset list with IDs, counts, sizes and condition. Data backups, network setup and power work are not part of the shifting tasks and are handled by your IT team and a qualified electrician.
Bike and car transport
A bike or car has its own carrier assessment and estimate. Confirm the exact model, running condition, carrier type and collection and delivery points, plus the protection and loading scope for that vehicle. Its carrier calendar may differ from the household schedule; complete the destination-use checks in the vehicle section before paying for transport.
Storage
For a possession gap, confirm storage availability, operator, location, custody, access, duration, rate and redelivery before dispatch. Keep the holding charges with the move plan.
Installation and technical work
Appliance installation, air-conditioner gas work, electrical work, plumbing and carpentry are arranged with qualified technicians. Agree their scope separately, including who is qualified to complete each task, even when they are organised alongside the move.
Hyderabad and Secunderabad pickup
Share the full building details for an enquiry in Gachibowli, HITEC City, Madhapur, Kondapur, Nanakramguda, Manikonda, Kukatpally, Miyapur, KPHB, Secunderabad, Bowenpally, Alwal, Begumpet, Ameerpet, LB Nagar, Uppal, Attapur or Amberpet. Include the gate pin, floor, lift size, stair turns and parking-to-door carry. Ask the property office whether a gate pass, lift booking or loading slot is needed.
The Gachibowli pickup guide explains preparation for that area; availability and access are checked for your own address.
Packing, Handling and Access Planning for a Delhi Move
Agree the materials and handling for the actual items, including any exposed waiting and carrying before loading. The photo checklist below covers that stage.
Fragile items
Send dimensions and a photo of each mirror, glass piece, television or monitor, and ask for the proposed cushioning to be written against the item. Combine cushioning with rigid protection appropriate to the item, such as a crate where assessed. Record the protection against that item and state whether it is included or extra in the quotation. Pack a monitor or television separately from other devices.
Furniture
Furniture is dismantled only where its design permits. Protect and label panels with the same ID as the parent piece, bag small fittings and tag each bag, and keep the bags together in a marked carton. Dismantling and reassembly are agreed piece by piece.
Appliances
Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for your model on preparation and restarting after the move. Washing machine transit bolts are fitted only when the model requires them. Air-conditioner gas work, electrical connections, plumbing and carpentry are done by qualified technicians as separate tasks.
Cartons you pack yourself
Number each carton, note its room, and tell the booking team which are yours. Put only a carton number and destination on outside labels. Ask in advance whether self-packed cartons are accepted without inspection, how they are handled and whether any optional cover applies, because none of that should be assumed.
Items to keep with you
You choose what to keep out of the crew’s hands: documents, keys, medicines, jewellery, cash and anything you consider essential. A laptop does not have to travel privately in every case. Decide item by item.
Access at both ends
Measure the fully packed whole piece and every separated panel as width, height and depth. Compare them with door openings, lift cabin width, height and depth, stair turns and landings at both addresses. If a path fails, agree a suitable specialist method, a workable new slot or leaving the item out before loading. A smaller truck changes where the vehicle can stand; it cannot make furniture fit through a narrow stair turn.
Keep the waiting area part of the packing plan
Wrapped cartons and furniture pieces grouped on paving outside a building.
The photo shows wrapped household packages waiting outside a building. That waiting stage matters: a packed item still has to travel from the door to the vehicle before its road journey begins.
For a Hyderabad to Delhi move, agree where goods will wait and how long before loading. Ask about covering and handling if conditions change, and keep the carrying path clear. Identify tall or delicate pieces so they are not treated as ordinary stackable cartons.
Photograph the ready packages and retain the inventory at dispatch. Share the Delhi receiving entrance and unloading arrangements before departure. At delivery, compare the package numbers and outer condition before opening the load.
Office Assets: IDs, Release and Receiving
Give every desk, monitor, printer, cabinet and similar item an ID, and list each group with its count, size, actual condition and destination zone. Note the packed size of fragile or bulky groups, because it affects the vehicle plan.
Name one authorised person to release each group in Hyderabad and one to receive it in Delhi.
Company-owned, leased and employee-owned equipment can need different approvals, and the business or owner decides what may move.
Back up data first. Your own IT team or vendor disconnects, reconnects, tests and restarts systems, and a qualified electrician handles power work.
Decide who keeps custody of sensitive archives, and list them by category only. Never write passwords or private file contents on labels or lists.
Do not plan on zero downtime. Allow for the packing, transit and reconnection time your own work needs.
No office price is fixed here. Send the asset list, the floors and lift access at both ends, and the items that need separate protection, and the figure is assessed from them.
Employee relocation claims
If this is a job transfer with an employer reimbursement, ask HR or accounts which invoice name, GST details, approved estimate, payment evidence and transport or delivery records it needs before booking. Match the delivery plan to the date the accommodation is ready, rather than only the first day at work.
Bike and Car to Delhi: Check the Vehicle Before You Ship It
Your checks as the owner
The registration date and the fuel type shown on the registration certificate.
The emission norm and the current pollution-control certificate status.
Where you plan to use the vehicle and where you plan to register it.
Whether any no-objection certificate applies to your case, which your registering transport office can tell you.
Check the current rules of the transport authority that covers your destination, close to your booking date. Use the current order for your vehicle and actual destination rather than an old age or fuel limit. If the answer is that the vehicle cannot be used where you need it, you want to know before you pay for transport.
The carrier’s side
The carrier confirms which carrier type is proposed, its availability on your date, whether a goods vehicle can deliver to the address, and where the handover will happen. Ask for this in writing and for each vehicle, since a hatchback, an SUV and a luxury car do not share the same exact collection, delivery, protection, loading and unloading terms.
Handover record
Take dated photos of every side, note the odometer reading and existing marks, and list accessories that stay with the vehicle. Remove personal belongings. Keys and accessories are handed over with names noted. Fuel level and battery preparation follow the maker’s and the carrier’s instructions, and no single fuel level is correct for every vehicle. Ask the carrier for its list of required papers, which usually begins with the registration certificate and photo ID.
Keep the RC, current insurance and applicable PUC records ready with the document copies the carrier requests. Tell the transport office whether you already have a BH-series registration when checking registration or transfer requirements; that does not by itself answer local pollution or entry questions. Ask about any NOC and registration or tax process separately from the transport booking.
Receiving in Delhi: Keys, Permission and What if the Goods Cannot Be Unloaded
Before dispatch
Confirm a named receiver with keys and authority to receive the goods, a backup, gate permission, a usable goods path and the unloading slot. Settle this before the goods leave Hyderabad. While the goods are in transit, reconfirm readiness against the updated estimated arrival.
At the door
Count cartons and furniture against your latest list, match dismantled parts to their parent IDs and compare condition with your dated photos. An intact carton does not prove its contents are undamaged. Open fragile cartons soon after arrival, record visible differences on the handover paperwork and promptly report missing or damaged goods with item IDs and photos under the agreed claim terms. If a transfer between vehicles took place, check the package record again at your door.
If the goods cannot be unloaded on arrival
If the keys are not ready or the permission has not come through, agree a workable later slot first. Goods that are already loaded are not excluded from delivery because of this. If no slot works, holding is possible only where an operator, location and custody arrangement is confirmed as feasible. Agree the IDs and condition at hand-in, access, duration, rate, exit and redelivery in writing before you accept it. Confirm availability and the complete cost before relying on holding.
After unloading
Room placement, unpacking, furniture refitting and technical installation are separate tasks, and each must be agreed.
From Enquiry to Unloading: How the Move Runs
Enquiry: send your inventory or asset list, both full addresses with the destination state, and preferred dates.
Assessment: access, carry paths and photos at both ends are reviewed, and a transport arrangement is proposed.
Quotation: the work scope arrives in writing with tax shown on its own line and any optional cover and extras listed. You approve it together with the accepted destination and final-approach plan.
Packing and loading: cartons are numbered, furniture is tagged, condition is photographed and counts are recorded.
Dispatch and updates: the goods leave on the agreed arrangement, and updates come through the contact named in your booking.
Arrival: the receiver, keys and permission are reconfirmed against the estimated arrival.
Unloading and receiving: goods are counted against the latest list, condition is compared, and any difference is noted before the crew leaves.
Why Ask ALPM for an Estimate
Talk through the load and addresses with the ALPM team. The estimate should make these points clear:
It starts from your inventory, photos and measurements, and not only from a house size.
It asks for the exact destination state and a named receiver, so a Delhi, Haryana or Uttar Pradesh address is not treated as the same thing.
It keeps the last-leg approach and the private-car check as separate questions, to be settled before dispatch.
The work is listed task by task, so you can see what is included, extra or not applicable.
You can talk through the load directly with the booking team before you commit.
How to Compare Packers and Movers for This Route
Give each provider the same inventory, addresses and dates, then compare what comes back. A lower figure may simply list less work, so compare scope before price.
Points to compare between providers
Point
What to ask
Scope
Does the estimate match your list, and does it name the packing split and any unpacking or refitting?
Price and work
What does the figure include, and are tax and optional cover shown on separate lines?
Destination and last leg
Does it name your destination state and say how the vehicle will reach your entrance, including any transfer?
Vehicle
Which carrier type is proposed, and on what date does it travel?
Transport mode
Is it shared or dedicated, and how does that affect the dispatch date?
Business identity
Do the name, address and GST details on the invoice match what is published, and can you verify them yourself?
Contacts and claims
Who gives updates, and who handles a claim or a complaint?
Payment and cancellation
What are the payment, rescheduling and cancellation terms, and where are they written?
Check the provider’s public business identity and the quotation details. If a certification is offered as proof, confirm its scope with the issuing body rather than relying on a badge alone.
Check the provider and the shipment record
ALPM is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, an independent business with published GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC and Udyam number UDYAM-TS-02-0069425. Match the business name, contact and payment details on the quotation and invoice before booking. Similar-sounding names do not establish an affiliation.
Request the consignment note, bilty or LR where issued for the arrangement, with the shipment reference, sender, receiver and relevant vehicle details. Keep a copy with your inventory, estimate and payment records. Agree advance and balance stages, due dates, cancellation and rescheduling before paying. For optional cover, read the issuer, declared-value basis, exclusions and claim process, including any self-packed-carton terms.
Hyderabad to Delhi Shifting FAQs
What does a household move from Hyderabad to Delhi cost?
As indicative planning guides, a 1 BHK move is about ₹19,000 to ₹27,500, a 2 BHK about ₹23,500 to ₹36,500, a 3 BHK about ₹28,000 to ₹42,500 and a 4 BHK about ₹34,500 to ₹48,000. These are not a confirmed tariff or a market average. They are read against a base scope of packing labour and materials, loading, road transport, unloading and agreed assembly, with GST on its own line. Your quotation follows an assessment of your inventory, access and transport arrangement, and any extra assessed work is listed separately.
How far is Delhi from Hyderabad, and how long does a move take?
The driving-map reference used here showed about 1,551 km via NH161 and NE4, with other routes of about 1,555 km via NH44 and the Yamuna Expressway and about 1,643 km via NH44, so plan on about 1,550 km. For household goods, plan about 4 to 7 days after dispatch as a provisional window. Packing, consolidation and loading come before that, a car runs on its own calendar, and the booking team confirms your actual dates. A passenger car’s driving time is not a delivery time for goods.
What does it cost to move a car from Hyderabad to Delhi?
As indicative planning guides, about ₹10,000 to ₹13,000 for a hatchback, ₹11,000 to ₹14,500 for a sedan, ₹13,000 to ₹17,000 for a standard SUV and ₹18,000 to ₹23,500 for a luxury car. These come from a distance-band guide for moves of roughly 1,200 to 1,800 km, not a Delhi route tariff. The carrier type, exact model, date, collection, delivery, protection, loading and unloading are quoted for each vehicle, and you should ask which of these are included and which are extra.
What does it cost to move a bike or scooter?
About ₹7,000 to ₹12,500 as an indicative planning guide. A larger, electric or crated bike is quoted individually. The carrier arrangement and date are confirmed separately from your household goods, so ask whether packing or crating is included in the figure you receive.
What does an office move from Hyderabad to Delhi cost?
It is priced from your actual asset list, so there is no fixed figure. Send an ID, count, size, packed size and condition for each group, plus floors and lift access at both ends, and name an authorised person to release and receive the items. IT backups and reconnection are handled by your own team or vendor, and power work by a qualified electrician. Do not plan on zero downtime.
Can I send just a few items or luggage-type cartons?
You can enquire. List each item with its packed size, weight and volume, and say what stays behind. The estimate depends on the items, the packing work and whether the load goes shared or dedicated. Ask what the charge is based on and whether a minimum charge applies. Acceptance for your date is confirmed by the booking team.
Is Delhi the same as the National Capital Region for my address?
No. NCR includes the whole of Delhi and specified districts in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Gurugram and Faridabad are in Haryana; Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad are in Uttar Pradesh. Give the exact city, state and full address so access and availability are checked for that endpoint.
Will the same vehicle make the final delivery, and what if a transfer is needed?
Do not assume so. Ask which vehicle is proposed, whether it can stop at a lawful, permitted point near your entrance, and whether the goods can physically pass the door, lift and stairs. A transfer happens only where it is needed, lawful and feasible. The record should show the operator, the location, who carries and reloads, the local leg, the cost and the item IDs, counts and actual goods condition at every change of custody, agreed before dispatch.
What if my Delhi keys are not ready when the goods arrive?
Confirm a receiver with keys and receiving authority, a backup, gate permission, a usable goods path and the unloading slot before dispatch, then reconfirm against the updated estimated arrival while the goods are in transit. If you still cannot take delivery, ask for a feasible later slot. Holding is possible only where an operator and location are confirmed, with custody, IDs, condition, access, duration, rate, exit and redelivery agreed in writing first. It is not assumed.
Is there optional cover for goods in transit, and how are claims handled?
Ask rather than assume. Request in writing whether optional cover is offered, who issues it, what it covers and excludes, how its premium is shown on the quotation and how a claim is made. Ask the same about any self-packed cartons. Record the condition of items with dated photos and note any damage on the handover paperwork at delivery before the crew leaves.
How do payment, rescheduling and cancellation work?
Before booking, ask for the advance and balance amounts and when each is due, the notice and cost for a date change, and cancellation terms in writing. Keep these with the accepted inventory, scope and final-approach plan, and confirm revised charges before accepting extra work.
What should I check before shipping an older car to Delhi or the NCR?
Before booking, check the vehicle’s registration date, fuel type, emission norm and PUC status against the current authority rules for the place you will use and register it. Ask about any NOC or registration-transfer process separately. This is different from the carrier’s check on whether its goods vehicle can deliver to your address.
Can the destination be Gurgaon, Noida or Ghaziabad instead of Delhi?
Give the exact city, state and full address at enquiry so availability, route, access and cost are checked for that endpoint. Gurugram and Faridabad are in Haryana; Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad are in Uttar Pradesh. A quote for one door does not automatically cover another.
How much advance notice should I allow for the move?
For a full home, starting enquiries one or two weeks ahead leaves time to survey, compare estimates and arrange both properties’ moving slots. Allow more for a large load or busy date where possible. Actual crew, carrier, packing and dispatch availability must be confirmed before booking.
Is GST included in the price ranges shown here?
The planning ranges are before GST. The estimate and invoice should show GST separately and make clear which packing, handling and delivery tasks are included, extra with an amount, or not needed.
Can GRAP or winter weather affect the Delhi delivery window?
Active pollution-control orders can affect vehicle categories and the permitted approach, while fog or other weather can affect the journey. Ask the carrier to check current orders and update the arrival plan for your booking. Reconfirm the unloading slot instead of assuming a fixed extra day.
Should I compare railway parcel with road transport for a few items?
Compare the complete job: accepted item sizes and contents, packing, station drop-off and collection, handling, local transport at both ends and the receiving schedule. Confirm the railway’s actual acceptance and fare for the goods. A rail freight figure alone is not the same scope as a door-to-door moving quote.
