What makes shifting in Kalkaji different
A Kalkaji survey needs the building and approach details as well as the item list. These are the points to settle before choosing the vehicle and loading slot.
DDA flats without a lift
For a walk-up DDA flat, check the exact floor, staircase width and landing turns. A double-door fridge or a big wooden almirah has to be carried down by hand, sometimes tilted around a corner. Narrow block lanes and parking
Inside the blocks and in Govindpuri and Kalkaji Extension, a 14 ft truck often cannot reach the gate. Cars are parked on both sides and there are low wires overhead in some lanes. Kalkaji Mandir and Navratri days
During Navratri or other busy temple periods, crowd controls or temporary diversions can affect the approach near Kalkaji Mandir. If your home is close to the temple side, try not to fix your shifting date in Navratri week. If you have no choice, check the current access arrangements and choose a permitted slot.
Office traffic around Nehru Place
Nehru Place and the Outer Ring Road stretch near it are packed on weekdays from morning to evening. Goods vehicles also face no-entry hours on main Delhi roads during the morning and evening rush. For moves that have to cross this stretch, agree the slot after checking current vehicle entry rules and the building’s loading permissions. Weekend office work needs its own approved slot.
Winter pollution restrictions
From around October to January, Delhi brings in GRAP restrictions when pollution goes up, and at the higher stages some goods vehicles are stopped from entering or plying in the city. If you are shifting in these months, we confirm a few days before the move that the vehicle assigned to you is allowed to run, and allow for a revised slot if the current order affects that vehicle.
RWA and society timings
Many societies in Alaknanda, CR Park and GK allow shifting only during day hours and some ask for a gate pass or a note from the RWA office. Tell us the rules of your old and new society while booking. Our supervisor will plan the packing so that loading happens inside the allowed time.

What changes your final price: the number of items (a 2 BHK with a full modular kitchen and two almirahs is not the same as a 2 BHK with basic furniture), the floor on both sides, whether there is a lift, how far the truck can come, and whether you need things like AC uninstallation or a shuttle vehicle.
