Packers and Movers Delhi to Bangalore
Delhi to Bangalore is a long move, around 2,200 km by road, and in most cases it comes with a new job, a transfer or a child's admission in Bengaluru. We plan pickups across Delhi NCR. Before packing, sort out the details that can hold up delivery: the Bengaluru society wants a booked slot, the flat keys are not ready, or the address only says "near the tech park" and the driver is left calling around.
For a quick idea, a 2 BHK from Delhi to Bangalore usually works out between ₹27,500 and ₹40,500. A dedicated vehicle takes about 5 to 7 days from packing to unloading, and a shared part load takes about 7 to 10 days from pickup to delivery, including consolidation. Your final quote comes from your actual item list, the floors at both ends and the services you pick, and we give it to you in writing before anything is packed.

Delhi to Bangalore distance and road options
There is no single distance that fits every Delhi to Bengaluru move. A generic driving check from New Delhi to Bengaluru, run on 18 October 2026 while preparing this page, returned three options.
| Map option | Approximate distance | Approximate car driving time |
|---|---|---|
| Via NH52 | 2,138 km | 37 hours |
| Via NH161 | 2,135 km | 38 hours |
| Via NH50 | 2,260 km | 48 hours |
For planning, treat the route as roughly 2,140–2,260 km, or about 2,200 km. These are car estimates between two city points. The goods journey must allow for driver rest, traffic and the route suitable for the vehicle and load; a car clock is not a delivery deadline.
So a map label is not permission for a truck to use a road, and it is not a fixed ALPM route. The figure also ignores the last stretch at each end. A Dwarka society pickup and a Bengaluru apartment delivery need their own address and access checks; the actual journey can differ from the generic city points.
Delhi to Bangalore packers and movers charges
The tables below are a provisional guide for budgeting. They are not a fixed ALPM tariff and they are not tied to one mode. Your actual quote depends on the inventory, the mode you choose, access at both ends and the services you add.
| Home size | Guide range (₹) |
|---|---|
| 1BHK | 21,500–30,500 |
| 2BHK | 27,500–40,500 |
| 3BHK | 32,500–48,500 |
| 4BHK | 38,500–55,500 |
A few selected items, a student's load, an office or a home larger than 4BHK is priced from the actual inventory rather than a band.
| Car type | Guide range (₹) |
|---|---|
| Hatchback | 13,500–20,500 |
| Sedan | 15,000–22,000 |
| SUV | 16,200–23,000 |
| Luxury car | 18,500–24,500 |
| Two-wheeler | Guide range (₹) |
|---|---|
| Bike up to 199cc | 6,000–10,000 |
| Bike 200–500cc | 7,000–10,700 |
| Bike above 500cc | 7,500–13,000 |
| Scooter | 6,000–9,000 |
| Electric bike or scooter | 5,000–8,500 |
What moves a quote up or down
- Volume and the number of fragile, heavy or high-value items.
- Shared space or a dedicated vehicle.
- Floors, lift size and how far the vehicle can stop from each door.
- Dismantling, reassembly, unpacking and placement.
- Qualified technician work, optional cover and any holding or storage.
Vehicle figures assume an assessed model, method and collection and drop points. The maker's or carrier's own requirements override this general guide.
Delhi to Bangalore Moving Time and Delivery Plan
Ask any mover which calendar they are quoting. The planning windows below use different starting points, so confirm which stages and waiting time your moving estimate includes.
| Mode | What the window measures | Planning window |
|---|---|---|
| Dedicated vehicle | From packing day at the Delhi home to unloading at the Bengaluru home | About 5–7 days |
| Shared part load | From pickup in Delhi to delivery in Bengaluru, including time to consolidate loads | About 7–10 days |
What can stretch either window
- A large inventory that needs more than one packing day.
- Keys to the Bengaluru flat that arrive after the goods do.
- A society or building that offers only certain unloading slots.
- Road, weather or holiday conditions along the way.
- For shared loads, waiting for space to fill or for goods to be sorted for your area.
Arrival is not delivery
A vehicle reaching the Bengaluru city limits, or a well-known landmark near you, has not delivered anything yet. Delivery happens when your goods are unloaded at your door, checked with your receiver and placed in the rooms you chose. Plan your dates around that moment, not around a message saying the truck has entered the city.
A Dedicated Move, Step by Step
Use this example sequence to coordinate a dedicated 2 BHK move. Match the dates to your inventory, the vehicle and both buildings’ available slots.
- Before packing day: video call or home visit for the survey, written quote, packing date fixed, Delhi society informed.
- Day 1: packing, dismantling of beds and wardrobes, labelling and loading in Delhi. Inventory signed by you and our team lead.
- Day 2 to Day 5 or 6: on the road. The chosen corridor may include NH44 through Agra, Gwalior, Nagpur and Hyderabad, or another suitable alignment. Some corridors are longer than the mapped alternatives above; our team agrees the route and calendar for the actual vehicle. Keep the update contact and consignment details with your inventory.
- One day before arrival: agree the update call to confirm the unloading time, the receiver's name and the building slot.
- Delivery day: unloading, counting against the inventory, placing furniture room-wise, reassembly of what was dismantled and unpacking if you booked it.
Shared part load moves take a few more days because the vehicle carries more than one family's goods and has to drop each consignment separately.
A Bengaluru delivery address the crew can reach
Bangalore and Bengaluru are the same city, but the city name is the least useful part of a delivery address. Give the applicable main road, cross, layout and block details, together with the actual goods entrance.
Send a full address brief
- Flat or house number, tower or wing, and building or society name.
- Main road and cross number.
- Layout, block, stage, sector or phase, as the area uses them.
- Locality and PIN code.
- A location pin dropped at the goods entrance, not at the main gate or the nearest landmark.
- Names and phone numbers of two people who can receive the goods.
The workplace landmark trap
New arrivals sometimes give the name of their office tech park because it is the place they know. A Whitefield workplace landmark is not a home gate. The vehicle needs the residential street, the right entrance and a place to stop.
Area names are prompts, not access rules
If you are moving to Whitefield, Electronic City, Bellandur, Marathahalli, HSR Layout, Indiranagar or Hebbal, the area name only tells us where to start. Access depends on your particular street, building and society, so those are the details to confirm before the vehicle sets off.
Delivering in Electronics City: phase, parking and the goods door
Electronics City sits along the Bengaluru–Hosur highway and is split into phases. Confirm whether your address is in Phase I or Phase II, then provide the street or avenue, building and goods entrance.
ELCITA issued a notice dated 9 April 2026 bringing in Pay & Park from 1 May 2026 on designated roads in Electronics City Phase I and Phase II, with parking allowed only in the designated spaces on those roads. It covers those roads, not the whole of Bengaluru.
What this means for unloading
- Paying for a roadside parking spot does not give a moving vehicle permission to unload at your building.
- Your building or campus decides where a goods vehicle may stand and which entrance it uses.
- Arrangements and charges can change, so check the current conditions for your road and building with your receiver, the building management and, if needed, the authority.
Before delivery day, find out the street or avenue your building is on, the goods entrance and whether the building wants a booked slot. With those three answers, the crew can plan where to stop and how far goods will be carried.
Delivery Planning Across Bengaluru Areas
Bengaluru destinations need more than a tech-park landmark. Give the complete layout, main road, cross, block or phase, plus the goods-entrance pin. Use the area-wise checks below with your own building’s rules before fixing the receiving slot.
| Area | What usually matters |
|---|---|
| Whitefield, ITPL, Brookefield | For a gated society, ask about move-in forms, service-lift booking and permitted receiving hours. |
| Sarjapur Road, Bellandur, Marathahalli | Share the usable approach to your building and a covered unloading point for wet weather. Coordinate the receiving slot with road conditions. |
| HSR Layout, Koramangala, BTM | Include sector, block, main and cross numbers. Send approach photos so the stopping point and any additional carrying can be assessed. |
| Hebbal, Yelahanka, Thanisandra, Hennur | Give the tower, goods entrance and actual gate pin. Check available lift dimensions and permitted use against your packed items. |
| JP Nagar, Jayanagar, Banashankari, Basavanagudi | Check the actual cross road, stopping space and packed path. A smaller last-mile vehicle may be useful where the main vehicle cannot reach. |
| KR Puram, Indiranagar, CV Raman Nagar | Share a pin at the exact goods entrance and check where the vehicle can stop without obstructing access. |
| Electronic City | Confirm Phase I or Phase II and the building's goods entrance. See the Electronics City section above. |
Like Delhi, Bengaluru also restricts heavy goods vehicles inside the city during peak hours on many roads. If your building only allows unloading in a slot that clashes with these timings, we plan the delivery for the next workable window and tell you in advance.
Booking the Bengaluru receiving appointment
Treat delivery as an appointment you book, not an arrival you wait for. Once the goods are on the way, work through these steps.
- Confirm the date you get the keys and that the flat is empty, clean and open.
- Ask the society or building management whether unloading needs a booked slot, a form or an approval, and get it in writing if you can.
- If a suitable goods lift is available and approved, book it and ask about protection requirements. Check packed fit and the combined rated load before relying on it.
- Name a receiver who can accept goods, sign the delivery note and decide where furniture goes.
- Agree a call before arrival, so the receiver is at the gate and the security desk knows.
- Check the inventory and the condition of items with the crew, and write any problem on the delivery note before signing.
If something slips
Plan a fallback before it is needed. As a hypothetical example: if the keys are delayed by two days, ask in advance whether goods can be held, where, for how long and at what charge. A plan agreed early costs less stress than one made with a loaded vehicle waiting outside.
Relocating for a new job: planning the first week
If you are moving because of a new job, your joining date and your household goods run on separate clocks. Plan them separately.
- Arrange your travel and joining date separately from the provisional goods calendar.
- Carry your laptop, ID and permitted work documents securely, following your employer’s rules; keep credentials private. If a work device has a problem, your company's IT team is the right contact, not the moving crew.
- Pack a first-week bag: clothes, chargers, medicines, a towel, bedding and a few kitchen basics.
- Keep a short stay or a backup room available in case the flat is not ready.
- Ask for a provisional delivery window and confirm the appointment once you know your keys date.
A hypothetical example, for illustration only: you join on a Monday, pack in Delhi the Wednesday before and travel on Saturday. A provisional 5–7 day packing-to-unloading plan can overlap your joining days. Confirm an available building slot and an authorised receiver rather than assuming weekend delivery.
What one written quote should settle
A good quote reads as one payable total with every part of the job named inside it. If packing appears both as a separate charge and inside another rate, ask whether the figures overlap before accepting the quote.
- Which steps are included: packing, loading, road transport, unloading, placement, unpacking and reassembly.
- Which steps are excluded, so nothing turns into a surprise on delivery day.
- How applicable tax and tolls are treated, with the tax basis, amounts and inclusions clear.
- Whether optional cover is chosen, its price and whose terms apply.
- Extras such as technician work, long carry, holding or storage, priced once.
- Mode, the provisional window and what happens if keys or slots slip.
- Whether your consignment stays on one vehicle or is transferred or consolidated along the way.
- Payment stages, and the cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Once these are written down, comparing two movers becomes simple. You are comparing the same job, not one company's full move against another's partial one.
Choosing the Date for Your Delhi to Bangalore Move
You can move on this route throughout the year, but a little planning around the calendar saves money and stress.
- Peak demand: If your move falls around school admissions, a job joining date or month-end, ask about the available packing and receiving slots early. Book at least two weeks ahead in these periods.
- Festival weeks: around Diwali and Dussehra, crews and vehicles get booked early and some days go slower on the road.
- Bangalore rains: the city gets a lot of rain from roughly June to October. Agree suitable outer weather protection and keep a covered space near the door for unloading. Pack only dry belongings.
- North India winter: fog in December and January can slow trucks on the northern part of the highway, so keep a day or two of extra margin.
Moving services on the Delhi–Bengaluru route
ALPM arranges house shifting from Delhi to Bangalore along with related work, with the final mode, scope and availability agreed for each move.
- Full household moves, from studio flats to larger homes.
- Selected items and student loads, such as a bed, a desk, a fridge and some cartons.
- Office goods, workstations and records.
- Assessed car and bike transport, coordinated alongside or separately from household goods.
- Packing, dismantling, loading, unloading, unpacking, placement and reassembly.
- Storage on request, when the destination is not ready on time.
Qualified technician work, such as appliance installation or electrical fitting, can be requested. It is confirmed and priced separately, because it depends on who is available at your address in Bengaluru.
Getting the Delhi end ready
A smooth Bengaluru delivery starts with a clean pickup. Before packing day, check a few things with your building or residents' association.
- Whether a goods vehicle can enter or stop in your lane, and at what times your society allows it.
- Whether the lift can be booked and protected for loading.
- Where cartons can be staged without blocking neighbours or fire exits.
- Who will hand over the home if you leave for Bengaluru before the vehicle does.
Pickup conditions vary across Delhi. A builder floor with stairs, a gated group housing society and a commercial building each need a different plan, so describe your building honestly when you ask for a quote.
Pickup from Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi NCR
A lot of people moving to Bangalore are not actually leaving "Delhi". They are in a Gurgaon society, a Noida high-rise or a builder floor in Ghaziabad. The Bangalore side of the job stays the same, but the pickup plan changes from place to place.
- West and South West Delhi (Dwarka, Janakpuri, Uttam Nagar, Palam): share the sector, society and goods gate so the survey and loading can be planned. See Dwarka and Janakpuri.
- South Delhi (Saket, Malviya Nagar, Lajpat Nagar, Vasant Kunj): send the floor, stairs and approach details. If a larger truck cannot reach a suitable stopping point, agree a smaller shuttle or additional carrying before booking.
- Gurgaon: for a society on Golf Course Road, Sohna Road or in New Gurgaon, ask the management about its move-out form and permitted loading hours.
- Noida and Greater Noida: for a high-rise, settle the service-lift booking and allowed goods-entry slot. Check its size before the sofa and double-door fridge are packed.
- Ghaziabad and Faridabad: Indirapuram, Vaishali, Crossings Republik and the Faridabad sectors are all covered. Just tell us the tower, floor and lift details when you ask for a quote.
Delhi also has no-entry hours for goods vehicles on many roads, mostly during the day. Because of this, loading for an intercity truck is often planned early in the morning or late in the evening, or the goods are shifted to the main vehicle from a nearby point. We tell you this at survey time so it does not come as a surprise on packing day.
Packing for a 2,200 km road journey
Long-distance packing is about keeping things still, protected and easy to identify at the other end. No wrap makes goods immune to heat or humidity, so the focus is on good materials, sensible loading and checks on arrival.
Materials and wrapping
- Strong cartons sized so heavy items go in small boxes and light items in larger ones.
- Cushioning for crockery, glassware and decor, with gaps filled so nothing shifts.
- Blankets, sheets or corrugated sheets for furniture faces and corners.
- Clear labels showing room, contents and whether the box is fragile.
Appliances
- Washing machine: where the maker requires transit bolts or locks, fit the correct parts for transport and remove them before use. If parts are missing, seek model-specific qualified advice.
- Fridge: defrost and dry it, then follow the maker's guidance on how it should travel and how long to wait before switching it on.
- TV, microwave and other electronics: use original boxes where you still have them, and check the manual for transport advice.
- For EV chargers, inverters and similar equipment, follow the maker's instructions and leave fitting and removal to a qualified technician.
Furniture and fittings
Agree dismantling of beds, wardrobes and tables where their design and condition allow it. Put screws and small fittings in a labelled bag and tape it to the outer wrap, not to the polished surface. Support and orient glass tops, mirrors and framed items according to their construction and assessed packing method; there is no single orientation for every piece.
Lifting and loading
Heavy items need enough hands, a clear path and correct lifting. In the vehicle, weight is spread evenly and goods are restrained so they cannot slide. If a lift will be used, check that a packed sofa or fridge actually fits through its door and that its rated load covers the goods, the crew and any trolley, and that the building permits goods in that lift.
Keep these with you
- Cash, jewellery, important personal documents and anything irreplaceable.
- Medicines, chargers, a few days of clothes and basic kitchen items.
- Laptops and work devices, especially if you are joining a new job.
Do not put perishables, flammables or gas cylinders into household cartons. Tell the operator about anything needing separate handling and confirm its acceptance or exclusions before packing day.
A tall item needs more than a layer of wrap
The tall piece in this photo is wrapped along its height, with extra material around the lower section. Before a Delhi to Bangalore move, check the edges, base and any projecting parts with the packing team. Ask how the piece will be supported and kept from shifting inside the vehicle; surface wrapping is only one part of that job.
Share its height and width, plus the lift and staircase details at both homes. If doors, shelves or fittings can be removed, record what comes off and where it is packed. At Bangalore delivery, match those parts to the inventory before the agreed reassembly starts.
Car and bike transport Delhi to Bangalore
Car transport from Delhi to Bangalore and bike transport are assessed separately from household goods. The model, the transport method, collection and drop points and current availability all affect the quote. A closed carrier, or travelling on the same vehicle as your household goods, is not assumed; ask what is being offered for your vehicle.
Preparing a car
- Remove personal items and valuables. Do not load household goods inside the car.
- Agree fuel level with the carrier using the maker’s transport guidance; do not drain fuel or disconnect components on a general instruction.
- Photograph the car on all sides and record its odometer, existing marks and agreed accessories at handover. Keep the signed condition record and compare it at delivery.
- Hand over the keys the carrier needs and keep your spare.
Preparing a bike or scooter
- Agree model-specific fuel preparation with the carrier and maker, and remove loose accessories. Record keys and accessories handed over.
- Note existing scratches or dents on the condition record with photos.
- Check mirrors, lights and tyres at delivery before you sign.
Electric vehicles
For electric cars, bikes and scooters, follow the maker's guidance on charge level and transport, and tell us the model early. Carrier requirements can differ for EVs.
Registration and road tax questions after moving to Karnataka depend on your vehicle and current rules. Check them with the transport department or a qualified adviser rather than relying on a moving page.
Office relocation from Delhi to Bangalore
An office move works best when one person, the asset custodian, owns the list. That list becomes the inventory, the packing plan and the delivery check.
- Tag every desk, chair, cabinet and device with a code that matches the list and the new floor plan.
- Have your qualified IT team verify backups, disconnect and prepare servers and devices before packing, and handle recommissioning at the destination.
- Dismantle workstations in a set order and bag fittings by station.
- Assess whether cabinet contents should be removed and boxed, then label and seal record cartons with an authorised custodian; agree secure handling of sensitive files.
- Phase the move if the Bengaluru office needs to open before everything arrives.
Business stock and office assets need different paperwork from personal household goods. Ask your accountant and the operator what is required for your goods before dispatch.
Documents, employer claims and transit cover
Documents depend on what you are moving
- Used personal household goods: ask the operator what they need, including which identity copies, address details, inventory or declarations apply to your consignment.
- New purchases: keep invoices handy, since they show value and ownership.
- Business stock or office assets: confirm the tax documentation with your accountant and the operator before pickup.
Employer relocation claims
Employers set their own rules for reimbursing a move. Ask HR before you book what they accept: a quote, an invoice, a tax breakdown, a vehicle receipt or a specific format. Getting this right first saves a second round of paperwork in your first week.
Optional transit cover
Cover is optional and works on the provider's terms, not on promises in a page like this. Before choosing it, read:
- What it covers and what it excludes.
- How declared value is set and what it costs.
- How and by when damage must be reported.
- What evidence is needed, such as the delivery note and photos.
Note visible damage on the delivery note and photograph it. Retain affected packaging for assessment and follow the actual provider or insurer’s notice terms. Visibly impacted electrical items should be checked before use.
Storage when dates and keys do not line up
Sometimes the Delhi lease ends before the Bengaluru flat is ready. Storage can be requested for that gap, and the arrangement is confirmed before booking.
- Where the goods will be held and whether you can access them.
- How they are kept, and whether cartons stay sealed.
- The custodian, inventory and condition record, rate per period, minimum duration and extension terms.
- Whether cover continues while goods are in storage.
- Who can authorise release, the required notice, redelivery charge and proposed delivery window.
Holding goods adds time to the move calendar, so factor it into your joining plans as well as your budget.
How to compare movers, and who ALPM is
When comparing Delhi to Bengaluru movers, check the business first and the price second.
- Can you verify the trade name, GST number and registered address?
- Did they ask for an inventory, or quote from a guess?
- Is the quote a single total with scope, tax, toll and cover stated?
- Do they say whether your goods stay on one vehicle?
- Will they record the condition of goods at pickup and delivery?
ALPM's verified details
- Trade name: AGARWAL LOGISTICS PACKERS AND MOVERS
- Brand: Agarwal (ALPM) Packers and Movers
- GST: 36FDRPM0957B1ZC
- Trademark: 7901417
- Registered location: Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Telangana

You deal directly with this named business. Every quote starts from your inventory and states the agreed scope item by item. Mode, scope and availability are confirmed for each move, so ask us anything about how your particular move will be handled.
If your final destination is still being decided, compare the separate Delhi to Hyderabad and Delhi to Chennai route plans before requesting the move.
What We Settle Before Packing
- Direct planning with ALPM: share your Delhi NCR pickup, Bengaluru destination and item list with our team.
- One written quote: packing, transport, unloading, GST and any extras are listed line by line, so the amount you agree is the amount you pay for that scope.
- Proper GST bill: useful when your employer reimburses the move. Ask HR what format they need and we prepare the bill accordingly.
- Car, bike and household goods together: one booking and one contact person for all three, even if they travel on different vehicles.
- Updates during the move: keep the agreed contact and consignment details together so you can check progress and the receiving window.
- Registered business: GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC and Trademark No. 7901417. You can verify all three yourself.
