Packers and Movers Pune to Jaipur: Costs, Route and Delivery Planning
Pune to Jaipur is around 1,150 km by road. For a 2BHK home, our guide is ₹18,000–25,000 shared or ₹28,000–38,000 dedicated, with 3–5 dedicated or 6–8 shared days counted after dispatch. Packing and consolidation fall before those days, and your Jaipur street and staircase access should be settled before loading.

Pune to Jaipur shifting charges for households
The ranges below are planning guides for an existing household moving from Pune or PCMC to Jaipur. Use the written quote after inventory and access assessment for your final budget. In a shared load your goods travel with other consignments. A dedicated vehicle is booked for your goods.
| Home size | Shared load | Dedicated vehicle |
|---|---|---|
| 1BHK | ₹13,500–18,000 | ₹21,000–28,000 |
| 2BHK | ₹18,000–25,000 | ₹28,000–38,000 |
| 3BHK | ₹22,000–32,000 | ₹38,000–52,000 |
| 4BHK | ₹28,000–42,000 | ₹50,000–70,000 |
What the guide ranges cover and what is confirmed in writing
Every quote should say, line by line, whether each of these is included or charged separately: packing material and packing labour, loading, road transport, unloading, dismantling and assembly, special handling of heavy or fragile pieces, taxes, tolls and any permit or entry charges, and transit cover. Confirm the payable total and any exclusions before booking. If transit cover is offered, check its declared value, premium, exclusions and claim procedure separately. These details let you compare quotes on the same basis.
What moves a price within the range
- The volume and weight of the inventory. A 2BHK with a lot of furniture can need more than a lightly furnished 3BHK.
- Floors, lift availability and any stair carry at either end.
- Large or fragile pieces, and whether they need dismantling and reassembly.
- Carry distance in Jaipur if the vehicle cannot stop at the door.
- How much is packed by us and how much you pack yourself.
- Whether you choose a shared load or a dedicated vehicle.
Few items and office moves
A handful of cartons, one or two furniture pieces or an office move does not fit a household table, so we do not publish a flat price for them. These are assessed from the item list, photographs, floors and access, and the assessment is given to you in writing.

Pune to Jaipur distance and route
For planning, treat the Pune to Jaipur road distance as around 1,150 km. A current driving map shows a primary route of about 1,151 km on NH52, with longer alternatives of about 1,191 km (using NE4) and about 1,289 km (using NH48 and NE4). A loaded truck does not always follow the route a car would take, so the route actually used is confirmed for your consignment and your two addresses.
Route options at a glance
| Route | Approximate distance | How it is used |
|---|---|---|
| NH52 primary | About 1,151 km | The basis for the 1,150 km planning figure |
| Alternative using NE4 | About 1,191 km | A mapped alternative; suitability for the booked truck must be confirmed |
| Alternative using NH48 and NE4 | About 1,289 km | Another mapped alternative, not a promised truck corridor |
What the 21-hour-30-minute drive time does and does not mean
The same map shows roughly 21 hours 30 minutes of driving for a passenger vehicle. That is a car’s driving time, not a door-to-door timeline for a household move. A move also includes packing, loading, consolidation on shared loads, driver rest, road conditions and unloading in Jaipur, which is why delivery is counted in days from dispatch. The calendar below shows how.
Why the exact route is confirmed per move
Truck routing depends on the vehicle size, the type of load, road conditions on the day and access at both ends. The map distance is a planning figure. It does not mean every truck covers exactly that distance, and it does not set your price on its own.
Jaipur old city delivery: main road approach versus inner address
Jaipur’s historic walled city is not one uniform set of narrow lanes. Its heritage description records broad, planned market streets, inner streets linked to them through gates, and homes and havelis within. For a move, that creates two separate questions that are easy to mix up. Where can the vehicle stop, and can each piece of furniture get from that stop to your door?
Main-road approach
A broad bazaar road does not establish whether the booked goods vehicle may enter or stop at the required time. Whether it can stop there, for how long and at what hour depends on that street’s traffic and any local restrictions on the day. We do not assume that a vehicle cannot enter or that it can stop freely. We ask for the address and a landmark, then plan from the answer.
Inner-lane approach
Streets inside the market grid can be narrower, and the final stretch to a haveli or older home may be on foot through a gate, a courtyard or up a staircase. In that case the vehicle delivers to the last safe stopping point, and the rest of the journey is a carry that has to be planned for.
The last safe stopping point
The last safe stopping point is the real dividing line between vehicle delivery and carry. The receiver in Jaipur usually knows it best from local knowledge, and the crew confirms whether the vehicle can use it. Settle it before packing, because it decides whether furniture can stay assembled, whether extra hands are needed and whether a smaller vehicle comes into the picture.
What to send before packing in Pune
- The exact address and a nearby landmark.
- The nearest main road where a goods vehicle could stop, and the last safe stopping point.
- The carry distance from that point to the door.
- Measurements of the doorstep, courtyard or passage, door opening and each stair turn.
- Photographs and dimensions of the largest pieces, such as the wardrobe, bed, sofa and refrigerator.
Old city decision table: vehicle stop, inner approach and furniture fit
Use this table to decide what must be settled before anything is packed in Pune. It is a planning aid and does not describe any particular street.
| Situation | What it means for delivery | Decide before packing |
|---|---|---|
| Main road allows unloading near the address | The vehicle stops close, and the carry is short or none | Confirm the stopping time and the carry route, and check that pieces fit the door as they are |
| Main road is the stop, but the address is in an inner lane | The vehicle delivers to the main-road point and the final stretch is carried | Agree the carry distance, the number of carriers, who counts the goods at the stop and the extra handling charge |
| Inner approach is restricted for large vehicles | A smaller vehicle or staged carry may be needed | Agree the smaller vehicle or staged carry, item counts at each handover, who signs the inventory and the cost, all in writing before loading |
| Door or gate is narrower than the packed piece | The piece may not pass as packed | Check whether it can be dismantled, and if not, decide on another option for that piece. No building modification is part of the plan |
| Staircase turn or low headroom | Long or tall pieces may not turn the corner | Measure both ends, assess dismantling, and rule out any unsafe hoisting |
| Apartment with a lift | The lift cabin size and load limit decide what goes up in one piece | Measure the cabin, ask for the load limit and booking slot, and check the building’s move-in rules |
Outside the walled city: sector addresses
For a sector-based address in an area such as Malviya Nagar or Mansarovar, include the sector and plot or house number, building or society name and the nearest usable main road. Add a pin at the entrance used by a goods vehicle. The colony name alone may not identify the correct receiving gate.
For an apartment, include the tower, floor, usable lift size and load limit, and any move-in slot confirmed by the building. If your address does not use sectors, give its actual block or street details instead. Being outside the walled city does not establish that the truck or furniture will reach the door; the operator still assesses the approach and packed-item fit.
Furniture fit: what to measure before you pack
Furniture that will not fit is an avoidable surprise, and it is far cheaper to find out in Pune than at the door in Jaipur.
What to measure at both ends
- The packed width, height and depth of each large piece, including packing
- The usable width and height of every door and gate the piece must pass, in Pune and in Jaipur
- Staircase width and headroom, and each turn, at both ends
- Lift cabin size and load limit wherever there is a lift
- Courtyard or passage clearance in older homes
A piece has to leave your Pune home as well as enter your Jaipur one, so the Pune end gets measured too.
A planning example, not a real job
Imagine two Jaipur receivers with the same two pieces: a one-piece wardrobe and a bed that can be dismantled. The first lives in an inner old-city home reached through a gate and up a narrow staircase. The wardrobe’s packed size has to clear the doorstep, the courtyard and every stair turn. If it cannot, the options are to dismantle it if its design allows, or to decide differently about that piece before it is packed. For the bed, measure the largest dismantled component as well as the route it must follow. The second receiver lives in an apartment in Jagatpura with a lift. There the lift cabin and its load limit, and the building’s move-in rules, matter more than lane width, and the wardrobe can travel whole only if every opening, turning space and lift limit permits it. The furniture is identical, but the decision is not, because the address is different. This hypothetical comparison illustrates why the delivery address changes the handling plan.
How our crew assesses feasibility
The crew looks at the packed size and the dismantling options first, using your measurements and photographs, before anything is loaded. Flag known fit problems before loading and agree an alternative for any piece that cannot safely pass; photographs alone cannot establish every clearance.
If a smaller vehicle or extra carry is needed
Where the main vehicle cannot reach the address, extra handling or a smaller vehicle is agreed in writing before loading. The agreement covers the following:
- The additional handling needed and the item counts involved
- The cost of that handling
- Who receives the goods at the stop and who receives them at the door
- How the inventory is handed over at each point
Holding or a smaller-vehicle transfer needs a separate agreed arrangement, including location, responsibility and charges. We do not plan building modifications or unsafe hoisting. If an address cannot be served safely, we look at alternatives with the owner and the crew.
Route and dispatch calendar
The days below start on dispatch, which is the day the vehicle actually leaves Pune or PCMC with your goods. Packing and, for shared loads, consolidation happen before dispatch and are scheduled separately. They are not counted inside these days.
| Stage | Shared load | Dedicated vehicle |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment and written scope | Before booking | Before booking |
| Packing | On the pack date agreed | On the pack date agreed |
| Consolidation with other goods | Needed, and it adds time before dispatch | Not needed |
| Dispatch | Day 0, when the shared vehicle leaves | Day 0, once loading is complete |
| Road time and delivery window | 6–8 days after dispatch | 3–5 days after dispatch |
| Unloading in Jaipur | On arrival, following the access plan agreed beforehand | On arrival, following the access plan agreed beforehand |
A worked calendar example
This is arithmetic, not a promise. Suppose a vehicle is dispatched on a Monday. A dedicated vehicle’s 3–5 day window then runs from Thursday to Saturday of that week. A shared load’s 6–8 day window runs from the next Sunday through Tuesday. Weather, road conditions and the access plan at the Jaipur address can all move these dates, so we confirm the window again at dispatch.
Dates that need a buffer
Allow a buffer if your Jaipur home needs keys, lift booking, society permission or a particular unloading hour. If the Jaipur home will not be ready on arrival, tell us before dispatch so that holding can be agreed in writing rather than improvised on the day.
Vehicle transport runs on its own calendar
A car carrier or a separately booked bike shipment can follow its own schedule. The handover date, pickup point and Jaipur delivery point are confirmed at booking, and they are not the same as the household truck days above.
Car and bike transport from Pune to Jaipur
Car and bike transport is assessed by vehicle category, dimensions and handling requirements. Confirm whether the booking uses a car carrier, separate bike transport or an accepted combined arrangement. The ranges below are planning guides.
| Vehicle category | Guide range |
|---|---|
| Bike up to 150cc | ₹5,000–7,000 |
| Bike above 150cc and premium bikes | ₹7,500–10,000 |
| Hatchback | ₹9,500–13,000 |
| Sedan or SUV | ₹13,000–17,000 |
When the price needs an exact assessment
The ranges above assume a standard running vehicle. Send the exact make and model for assessment, and say so clearly if the vehicle is any of these:
- An electric vehicle, because acceptance and carrier preparation are assessed for it specifically
- Non-running, or unable to be driven onto the carrier
- Modified, for example with lowered suspension, wide tyres or fitted accessories
- Larger or heavier than the usual hatchback, sedan or SUV categories
The carrier calendar is separate
For separately booked vehicle transport, confirm handover and delivery dates independently of the household shipment. Do not expect the car or bike to arrive on the same day as the household truck unless that has been agreed in writing.
Preparing the vehicle
- Follow the carrier’s preparation instructions for your vehicle type, including any fuel or charge level they ask for.
- Take out personal belongings and loose accessories.
- Photograph all sides of the vehicle on the handover day and note existing marks on the handover sheet.
- Confirm which document copies are required. Record any key handed to the authorised transporter on the receipt, keep your own copies and agree who releases and receives the vehicle.
Pune and PCMC pickup planning
Pickups go smoothly when the vehicle stop, lift and loading window are known beforehand. Our Pune office is listed in Transport Nagar, Nigdi, and we plan pickups across Pune and PCMC from your address, floor and access details.
Society and building access
Many housing societies have their own rules for moving goods. Before the pack date, find out and tell us:
- Whether there is a goods or service lift, how large it is and whether it must be booked
- Any permitted hours for moving out, and whether a gate pass or written permission is needed
- Whether a large truck can enter the society or must stop outside
- Any security checks or paperwork the crew should carry
Parking and carry distance
Note how far the truck’s stopping point is from your door. If the truck has to stop outside the gate or at the end of a lane, goods will be carried the extra distance, so tell us in advance and we can plan for it instead of finding out on the day.
What to confirm by address type
| Address type | What to confirm before the pack date |
|---|---|
| Apartment in a housing society | Floor, lift size and booking slot, truck entry rule, permitted move-out hours |
| Independent house or row house | Gate and door widths, street parking space, stairs inside the house |
| Older lane or dense market area | Nearest point where the truck can stop, carry distance from there, any timing limits for vehicles |
Services for a Pune to Jaipur move
Household shifting
Household moves cover packing, loading, road transport and unloading. Dismantling and assembly, and special handling of heavy or fragile pieces, are included or charged separately as shown in your written scope. Both shared loads and dedicated vehicles are available.
Few-item and part-load moves
If you are sending only a few items, such as a bed, a few cartons or a refrigerator, the move is assessed from the item list, photographs and access details, and the assessment is given in writing. This gives a price for the actual consignment rather than charging it as a full home.
Office relocation
Office moves are assessed from the inventory, floors and access at both ends. For assets, note the following:
- Record the physical asset ID, accessory counts such as cables, adapters and keyboards, and the condition of each item
- Agree who releases the items in Pune and who receives them in Jaipur
- Have a qualified IT person disconnect and test equipment at the destination
No move can promise zero downtime, so plan for a gap between shutdown in Pune and working systems in Jaipur.
Car and bike transport
Use the category guides above, then confirm the vehicle model, accepted transport arrangement and handover dates. EVs, non-running vehicles and modifications need individual assessment.
Holding goods before delivery
If your Jaipur home is not ready, ask whether holding goods can be arranged, but it is never automatic. Before it starts, the written agreement should name the location, the operator, who has custody, the item counts and condition, how long it will last, the rate, how you can access the goods and how redelivery will happen.
Appliances, plants and items that need a decision
Appliances
Keep the manuals for your appliances. A washing machine may need transit bolts fitted for the journey if its manual requires them, and the bolts must be removed again before first use. Uninstalling and installing an air conditioner, including its gas, and any electrical, plumbing or IT and network connections, should be done by qualified technicians. Agree in advance who arranges them at each end.
Items we do not carry
Fuel, LPG cylinders and fireworks are excluded from the move. Keep them out of the consignment; do not vent or decant a cylinder to prepare it for transport.
Valuables, medicines and documents
Cash, jewellery, medicines and important documents should stay with you, not travel in the truck. Keep a separate bag for each so that they are with you on moving day.
Plants
Declare any plants before booking. A multi-day journey is hard on plants, so whether they are accepted, and on what conditions, is agreed in writing beforehand and not assumed.
How the move works, step by step
- Send the pickup and delivery addresses, floors and lift details, a room-wise inventory or photographs, your preferred packing and dispatch dates, and any vehicles to be moved.
- We assess the inventory and the access at both ends, including the Jaipur inner-address details described above if they apply.
- You receive a written scope that states the price, the mode, what is included or separate, handling terms and your transit cover choice.
- Packing happens on the agreed date, with fragile and bulky pieces dealt with according to the scope.
- Goods are loaded and counted, and the vehicle is dispatched. Dispatch is Day 0 for the calendar, and for shared loads it follows consolidation.
- The goods travel on the confirmed route during the delivery window for your mode.
- In Jaipur, unloading follows the access plan agreed beforehand, with counts checked at the vehicle stop and at the door where a carry is involved.
- Placement and any agreed reassembly are done, and any shortage or damage is noted on the delivery paperwork at the time so that the claims steps in your written terms can be followed.
How to choose a mover and what a written scope should say
Compare like with like
Two quotes for the same move often differ because of what is included, not because of a different rate. Give each mover the same inventory, the same mode and the same Jaipur access details, then compare these points in writing.
| Point | What the quote should state |
|---|---|
| Mode and timing | Shared or dedicated, and how many days are counted from dispatch |
| Packing | Material and labour, and what you pack yourself |
| Loading and unloading | Who does each, and the carry at the Jaipur end |
| Dismantling and assembly | Which pieces, and whether it is included |
| Taxes, tolls and permits | Included or extra, and the basis |
| Transit cover | Whether offered, whether optional, declared value, premium and claim steps |
| Extra handling | What happens if the vehicle cannot reach the door, with counts and cost |
Treat ranges and guarantees with care
A price range from a listing site or a marketing page, given without an inventory, is a starting point and not a quote. The same goes for guarantees that carry no conditions. A very wide range usually means the scope has not yet been set. Judge a mover by what it will put in writing for your inventory and your two addresses.
How ALPM works on this route
- Prices come from your inventory and access details, not from the city name alone.
- The written scope lists what is included and what is charged separately.
- The Jaipur main-road, inner-lane and apartment access questions are asked before packing.
- Extra handling, a smaller vehicle or holding is agreed before loading.
- Household and vehicle guides are separated, so the scope can be compared before booking.
Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) can be reached on +91 9467186002. Our Pune office is listed at Office No 18, Sector 24, near Ramdev Dhaba, Transport Nagar, Nigdi, Pune 411044, and the registered office is at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad.
Pune to Jaipur moving checklist
Review the count while the last packages are loaded
The last few packages are a useful moment for a deliberate count. The loading scene in this photograph shows where the written inventory needs to meet the goods actually leaving the property.
For a Pune to Jaipur move, compare the final package numbers with the list before dispatch. Add separately packed furniture parts and mark anything you retained. Keep condition photographs of important pieces from before packing, as well as pictures of their finished labels.
Share the final version with the Jaipur receiver and your coordinator. If the count changes on pickup day, update that shared record before the vehicle leaves.
Before booking
- List the items room by room, with photographs of the largest ones
- Decide whether a shared load or a dedicated vehicle suits your dates
- Get the Jaipur address, landmark, last safe stopping point and carry distance from the receiver
- Measure the large pieces and the doors, stairs and lifts at both ends
- Ask for the written scope with inclusions, exclusions and cover terms
Before pack day
- Book the lift or get society permission in Pune if needed
- Prepare appliances as their manuals require, and arrange qualified technicians for AC, electrical, plumbing and IT work
- Keep fuel, LPG cylinders and fireworks out of the consignment
- Set aside valuables, medicines and documents to stay with you
- Declare any plants
On pickup and delivery day
- Check the item counts against the inventory at loading
- Note the dispatch date, which starts the days in the calendar
- In Jaipur, be present or have a receiver at the vehicle stop and at the door
- Note any damage or shortage on the delivery paperwork before the crew leaves
