The sections below explain what sits behind each line, so you can compare any Pune to Delhi quote on the same terms, including ours.
Pune Delhi Distance and Route
For planning, treat the road distance between Pune and Delhi as roughly 1,400 to 1,500 km. When we checked Google Maps on 17 October 2026, the driving alternatives came out at about 1,350 km, 1,457 km and 1,486 km, with a passenger car shown at roughly 24 to 29 hours of driving. The corridors named were combinations of NH 48 and NE 4.
A map is a good way to understand the scale of the move, but it is not a trip plan for your goods. A loaded goods vehicle is not driven like a passenger car, and the operator decides the actual route based on the vehicle, the load, road conditions and how the vehicle will approach Delhi. For that reason we do not print a fixed toll count, a fixed list of states or a fixed number of stops. Toll and any other route-related charge are named in your written quote against the final payable total.
How to use the distance figure
- Use it to judge why a Pune to Delhi move costs more than an intercity move over a shorter distance.
- Do not convert it into a day count on your own. The day ranges on this page start at actual dispatch, not at the day packing begins.
- Ask the operator which route the goods vehicle will take if the route matters to you, for example for a fragile load or a tight delivery date.
Starting in Pune or PCMC
We handle pickups across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, including areas such as Hinjewadi, Wakad, Baner, Kharadi, Hadapsar, Nigdi, Ravet and Moshi. Before the move day, check with your society about gate timings, lift booking and any rule on vehicle size, because the loading crew can only start once the vehicle and lift are available. Our Pune office is at Office No. 18, Sector 24, Near Ramdev Dhaba, Transport Nagar, Nigdi, Pune 411044.
Pune to Delhi Shifting Charges by Home Size
The table below is our guide for house shifting Pune to Delhi. It has two columns, Standard and Premium, and those columns describe the packing and service scope you choose. They do not describe whether your goods travel in a shared or a dedicated vehicle. The mode is selected independently and included in the final written quote.
| Home size | Standard scope | Premium scope |
|---|---|---|
| 1 BHK | ₹16,000–₹22,000 | ₹21,500–₹27,000 |
| 2 BHK | ₹22,000–₹31,000 | ₹28,000–₹38,000 |
| 3 BHK | ₹32,000–₹45,000 | ₹39,000–₹54,000 |
| 4 BHK or villa | ₹45,000–₹65,000 | ₹55,000–₹78,000 |
What Standard and Premium mean
The two scopes differ in how much protection and handling work is agreed, such as the packing materials used and how items are wrapped and loaded. Premium does not automatically mean waterproof packing for everything, a set minimum number of packing layers, or that a home is treated as a heavier load. Your quote lists the packing materials, labour, loading, road transport and unloading that are actually agreed, so you can see what each scope covers for your inventory.
What moves the price inside a band
- The real volume of your belongings. A 2 BHK with a few boxes and a 2 BHK full of furniture are not the same load, which is why we work from a written inventory and not from the BHK label alone.
- Furniture that needs dismantling and refitting, and bulky items such as wardrobes, sofas and large refrigerators.
- Access at both ends, such as no lift, a long carry from the vehicle or stairs with tight turns.
- The mode, shared or dedicated, and the dates you need.
- Any wait or holding needed in Delhi because of building or vehicle rules, explained later on this page.
If you are sending only a few items
These bands are for house moves. If you are moving a few cartons, a bed or a single appliance, the BHK table may overstate your cost. Send us a list or photos of what you are moving and we will tell you whether a shared load is a sensible fit. We do not quote a number for a small move without seeing the list.
What the Written Quote Should State
A Pune to Delhi quote that only gives one figure is hard to compare. Before you say yes to any mover, including us, ask that the following points are written down.
- The inventory the quote is based on, including item counts and any large or unusual pieces.
- The packing materials and handling scope, and whether furniture dismantling and refitting are included.
- Labour for loading in Pune and unloading in Delhi, and whether placing items inside the home is part of the job.
- The mode, shared or dedicated, and the expected dispatch date.
- Anything charged separately.
On that last point, GST, toll, optional cover, technician work, access charges and holding or waiting charges should each be named once, with the final payable total and the list of inclusions placed beside them. This avoids the common situation where a low headline figure grows later because a necessary item was never mentioned. If the quote changes after an inventory update, the reason should be written down too.
Finally, check that the company name, phone number and address on the quote match what you were told. For Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, also known as Agarwal (ALPM) Packers and Movers, the contact number is +91 9467186002, the Pune office is in Nigdi, and the registered office is at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad.
House Shifting Pune to Delhi: Packing, Furniture and Appliances
House shifting Pune to Delhi is a long move, so the work that happens before the vehicle leaves matters as much as the drive itself. The crew packs and labels your belongings according to the scope in your quote, loads them with an item count and unloads them in Delhi against that count.
Packing and handling
Kitchen items, glassware, framed pictures, electronics and soft furnishings need different protection. The materials and methods are agreed in the quote and should be described in terms you can check, such as which items get cushioning, which furniture is wrapped and which is dismantled. Ask for the same detail from any provider you compare.
Measure large furniture and check both buildings
Check the full handling path before the goods are packed. For each large piece, measure the packed width, depth and height. Then check the usable width of the doorway, the lift cabin size and its load limit, and any stair turns at both the Pune and the Delhi building. If a piece cannot pass, agree safe dismantling or another assessed handling method and its price before loading; otherwise exclude it and revise the scope. We want the crew’s feasibility confirmed before loading, not discovered at the Delhi door.
Appliances
- Follow each appliance’s manual for preparing it for transport and for how long to wait before switching it on after the move.
- If a washing machine needs transit bolts, fit them for the journey and remove them before you use it.
- Air conditioner gas work, electrical connections, plumbing and IT or network setup should be done by qualified technicians. The crew can move these items, but fitting and testing are separate work, and any technician charge is named in the quote.
What stays with you
Keep jewellery, cash, valuables, medicines and important documents with you. Fuel, LPG cylinders and fireworks are not carried. If you want to move plants, tell us in advance, because acceptance is decided case by case and plants do not always travel well over several days.
Book installation against the receiving appointment
If the household needs an AC, plumbing or electrical fitting ready soon after arrival, arrange the qualified technician as a separate appointment. Share the accepted delivery slot and leave time for unloading, placement and the model’s preparation requirements before installation or testing. Reconfirm that appointment if the truck’s ETA or the building slot changes; the transport booking does not by itself reserve a technician.
Pune to Delhi Delivery Time: How to Read the Day Count
The Pune to Delhi delivery time we plan for is 4–6 days for a dedicated load and 8–12 days for a shared load. Both ranges are counted from actual dispatch, which is the day the vehicle leaves Pune with your goods. They are planning figures and not a guarantee of any actual trip.
Three things sit outside that count. Packing and loading days before departure come first. For a shared load, consolidation before departure comes next and can take extra time. Last, the receiver’s delivery slot in Delhi can add time after the vehicle arrives, especially where a building or vehicle rule limits when unloading can happen. Weather, traffic, road closures and vehicle issues can also move a trip. We would rather say this now than promise a date we cannot control.
A simple way to build your calendar
- Fix the packing date in Pune.
- Ask the operator for the expected dispatch date.
- Add the planning range for your mode to that dispatch date.
- Add time for the Delhi approach and the building’s unloading window.
- Keep a buffer for key handover, lift booking and any delay.
As an illustration only, if a dedicated vehicle dispatches on the 10th of a month, the planning range points to arrival between about the 14th and 16th, before any building slot. A shared load dispatching on the same day points to about the 18th to the 22nd. Real dates depend on the actual trip.
Three Separate Conditions for a Delhi Delivery Appointment
A delivery appointment in Delhi is not set by one rule. It needs three checks at the relevant stages of the journey: the goods vehicle must be eligible, it must be allowed on the entry route within a traffic window, and the building must permit unloading with a lift, a crew and a receiver present. Meeting one does not prove the others. Entry and unloading can happen at different times if a permitted waiting arrangement has been assessed.
1. Goods vehicle eligibility under air-quality directions
The Commission for Air Quality Management said in a press release dated 30 September 2026 that entry restrictions for goods vehicles depend on emission category under its directions, and not only on the time of day. That is why a night-time window alone does not settle whether a particular vehicle may enter. We do not state which categories are allowed or what stage of any action plan applies, because these directions can change. The named operator checks the current applicable directions for the actual vehicle, the actual date and the actual route just before departure and again before the vehicle approaches the city.
2. Traffic entry route and window
Separate from vehicle eligibility, traffic rules may limit which routes and hours a goods vehicle can use to enter and move through the city. These rules vary by location, route and date, and they are not the same across Delhi and the neighbouring cities. The operator confirms the entry route and window for the planned day.
3. Building, society or RWA unloading window
Even when a vehicle may enter, the building decides when unloading is allowed. Ask your Delhi society or resident welfare association about permitted unloading hours, lift booking, whether outside crew are allowed, any deposit or gate pass, and who needs to be present. You, or someone you name, should confirm the actual building slot and make sure it is long enough to unload and place everything before unpacking or furniture assembly starts.
A late-night entry is not a permitted unloading
A vehicle that is allowed to enter late at night is not automatically allowed to unload at that hour. Many societies restrict noise, lift use and outside crews at night. Equally, we do not assume that a smaller feeder vehicle for the last leg is legal or accepted by the building. Confirm all three for the actual vehicle and planned stages, including where it can legally wait between entry and unloading.
When city entry and society unloading fall at different times
A vehicle can sometimes enter before the society’s unloading slot opens. The gap needs a permitted waiting or holding plan; it does not automatically make delivery impossible. Vehicle eligibility is a separate check, rather than simply another time slot. The example below is made up to show the idea. It is not a Delhi rule, a real company trip or a recommendation of any time.
| Condition | Hypothetical window | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Operator-planned approach | 11:00 pm to 6:00 am | Invented time for illustration |
| Traffic entry route window | 12:00 am to 5:00 am | Invented time for illustration |
| Society unloading and lift | 9:00 am to 5:00 pm | Invented time for illustration |
| Gap after the entry window | Until the 9:00 am society slot | Assess permitted waiting, custody, duration and price |
In this made-up case, entry and unloading are scheduled at different times. The answer is not to unload on the roadside or wait in a place where waiting is not allowed. Instead, the operator and receiver should agree a permitted and protected waiting, custody or holding arrangement, together with a revised and approved delivery calendar, before the vehicle is dispatched from Pune. A written special society slot can be considered, but it cannot override traffic or vehicle rules.
What a holding arrangement should state
- The exact location and the operator responsible for it.
- Who has custody of the goods and who can access them.
- The item or carton count at the time goods go in and the condition recorded.
- The expected duration and what happens if it runs longer.
- The rate and when it is charged.
- The redelivery date, time and who must be at the building.
Holding is not assumed on any move. If you need it, ask us for the location and terms in writing. It is named in the quote like any other separate charge.
Delhi Buildings and NCR Endpoints: What Changes at the Door
Two Delhi addresses can need very different delivery plans. The building type and the access at the door often decide how many crew members are needed, how long unloading takes and whether furniture will pass.
| Delivery point | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Dwarka (DDA flat, sector pocket, society tower) | The sector and pocket gate, which tower and floor, lift or stairs, the society’s unloading hours and any gate pass |
| Rohini (flat in a sector pocket) | The pocket entry, the building’s lift and its load limit, parking space for the vehicle and the allowed unloading time |
| South Delhi, such as Saket and Vasant Kunj (builder floor) | The actual floor, door width and stair fit for large furniture, and how far the vehicle can stop from the entrance |
| Old Delhi | A real access assessment of the lane, since not every street is closed to goods vehicles but many are narrow and need a plan |
If you tell us the exact sector, society or lane, we can plan crew and timing properly. A vague ‘Delhi’ address leads to a vague plan.
Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram and Faridabad
Not every NCR city is Delhi. Noida and Ghaziabad are in Uttar Pradesh, while Gurugram and Faridabad are in Haryana. Each has its own delivery endpoint, and the operator assesses the route and entry conditions for that actual address. We do not assume that a Delhi rule applies to them or that a rule in one of these cities applies to another. When you enquire, name the city, sector and society so the plan fits the real destination.
Government quarters: match the booking to possession
For an allotted quarter in a colony such as RK Puram, Sarojini Nagar or Kidwai Nagar, confirm the receiving details before fixing dispatch:
- Use the expected possession and key-handover date, then recheck it before loading. An allotment document alone does not establish that the home is ready to receive goods.
- Give the quarter type, block, quarter number, colony and receiving gate exactly as confirmed by the allotting office or receiver.
- Check the actual floor, lift availability and staircase turns. Send approach photos and the dimensions needed for large pieces rather than assuming every block in the colony has the same access.
Builder floors without a lift
For a sofa, large bed or double-door refrigerator, check the packed dimensions against the staircase width, landing turns and final doorway before the piece leaves Pune. If it will not pass, agree feasible dismantling or another qualified, assessed handling method and its price, or remove the item from the scope. A balcony or rope lift is not assumed: any specialist lifting would need its own qualified feasibility assessment, permissions and written scope. Do not leave that decision until the goods reach the Delhi door.
Car and bike transport from Pune to Delhi
Car and bike transport from Pune to Delhi can be booked together with a house move or by themselves. The table below gives our price guide by vehicle category.
| Vehicle | Guide price |
|---|---|
| Bike up to 150cc | ₹4,500–₹6,000 |
| Bike above 150cc | ₹6,500–₹9,500 |
| Hatchback car | ₹11,000–₹14,000 |
| Sedan or SUV | ₹14,500–₹22,000 |
What decides acceptance and the final price
Acceptance depends on the exact model, so tell us the make, model and year. Electric vehicles, non-running vehicles and modified vehicles need specific confirmation before a booking. We do not assume a crate or an enclosed carrier based on the category alone. The carrier type, the mode and the calendar are confirmed for each vehicle, and the transit time for your vehicle is stated only after the operator confirms it. We do not use the day counts for household goods on this page as a clock for vehicles.
Handover and preparation
- Follow the operator’s preparation instructions for your vehicle, and ask what may and may not be left inside.
- Record the vehicle’s condition with photos at pickup and note any existing marks together with the handover person.
- Record the odometer reading and keep a list of keys and accessories handed over and check them again at delivery.
- Confirm whether delivery is to your Delhi address or another handover point, and check that the delivery vehicle can reach it under the same three conditions described earlier.
- Confirm the registration, ID and further booking documents requested by the accepting carrier, and follow the vehicle maker’s relevant preparation guidance.
Office relocation from Pune to Delhi
An office relocation from Pune to Delhi has more moving parts than a house move because many people depend on the same assets and the same dates. The best way to keep control is a written asset register and a named person at each end.
Before the move
- Build an asset register with physical IDs or tags, item counts and accessory counts, such as chargers, docking stations and keys.
- Note the condition of each major asset and photograph high-value items.
- Arrange release from the Pune building, including gate passes, lift booking and any rule on moving hours.
- Number file cartons and keep a separate list of which department they belong to.
At the Delhi end
Name a receiver who can sign for items against the register and who knows the layout of the new floor. Confirm the commercial building’s unloading hours, goods lift and loading rules, since they are a separate matter from vehicle eligibility and traffic entry, which apply to office moves as well.
IT equipment and downtime
Arrange data backups before disconnection. Computers, servers and network equipment should be disconnected and reconnected by qualified IT staff, and tested at the new site before the team relies on them. We move the equipment but do not promise zero downtime, because the date of arrival, building access and testing all affect when the office can work again. Plan the first working day with that in mind.

Why people ask us for a quote
We work from your inventory and say plainly what the quote includes. We keep the packing scope and the shared or dedicated mode separate so that you can see what each part costs. You deal with one contact number, +91 9467186002, and the Pune-listed office is at the Nigdi address above. Our registered office is at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad.
Cover, Payment and Changes
Optional cover
Goods cover is optional and depends on the provider’s terms. Ask what is covered, what value you need to declare, which items or causes are excluded and how a claim is made. The cost, if you choose it, is named once in the quote. We do not quote a fixed percentage on this page because it depends on the terms you select.
Payment
Ask for the amount payable at booking, at loading and at delivery, the named payment recipient, accepted methods and how receipts or invoices are issued. GST, where applicable, appears with the final payable total in the quote and not as a surprise later.
Changes
If your dates, inventory or delivery address change, tell us as early as possible. A change in inventory can change the price, and a change in the receiver’s slot in Delhi can affect holding. Ask for the terms for rescheduling, cancellation and refunds in writing before you book.
Delivery records and claims
Count packages against the inventory before unpacking or assembly. Record shortages or visible damage on the delivery receipt with the package ID, take photos and keep relevant packing, booking confirmation, consignment receipt and invoice. Contact the named support person promptly and follow any optional cover provider’s agreed process, evidence requirements and timelines.
Keep these ready for a quote
- Pickup and delivery addresses with floors, lift details and parking access.
- An inventory list or photos, with measurements of large furniture.
- Your preferred packing, dispatch and arrival dates.
- Your Delhi society’s unloading hours, lift rules and any gate pass.
- The make, model and year of any car or bike, and whether it runs.
