Pune to Gurgaon road distance and route

Pune–Gurgaon is roughly a 1,400 km road move. NH48 and NE4 feature in the route options, with the suitable combination depending on the loaded vehicle and exact Pune or PCMC pickup and Gurugram delivery address. Confirm the planned corridor with the dispatch team instead of assuming every trip follows the same intermediate towns.

Road distanceAround 1,400 kmActual addresses and suitable goods-vehicle route
Dedicated household vehicle3–4 days after dispatchDeparture date and receiving window

Passenger driving hours leave out packing, loading, breaks and unloading. A work joining date therefore needs its own plan: compare it with the expected delivery window and allow time to set up your home or workstation after arrival.

House shifting price guide from Pune to Gurgaon

The ranges below are planning guides for a household of each size, shown for the two modes you can choose from. Your own figure is set after the inventory is listed and access at both addresses is checked, so the bedroom count is a starting point rather than a vehicle-size guarantee.

House shifting planning guide, Pune to Gurgaon
Home sizeShared (part-load)Dedicated vehicle
1 BHK₹10,500–16,000₹18,000–25,000
2 BHK₹14,500–22,000₹25,000–36,000
3 BHK₹19,000–28,500₹33,000–46,000
4 BHK₹25,000–39,000₹47,000–67,000

How to read these ranges

Each range describes an assessed household move in that mode. Ask which packing, loading, transport and unloading tasks it covers. A separately shown cost breakdown should reconcile to the total, rather than adding the same work twice.

A larger inventory than the home size suggests, such as a big villa or a house full of heavy furniture, is assessed on the actual list and can fall outside these ranges.

Some items are confirmed separately once the final total is written: GST, tolls (whether they sit inside the total or beside it), optional transit cover, technician work on appliances, difficult access at either end, and any goods holding. Ask for each to appear once in the quote, so that nothing is counted twice or left out.

What moves a Pune to Gurgaon quote up or down

Two homes with the same BHK label can need very different loads. These are the points that usually matter most.

  • Volume and bulky pieces: share packed dimensions of furniture and appliances as well as carton counts; compact cartons of books may still be heavy.
  • Packing needs: glassware, screens and framed pictures need protection suited to their fragility, while books need manageable carton weights.
  • Floors and lifts at both ends: a walk-up flat in Pune and a high-rise in Gurgaon with a shared service lift are very different jobs from a ground-floor house on each side.
  • Carry distance: how far the crew has to walk from the door to the vehicle, and whether the vehicle can park close.
  • Access in Gurgaon: if the entrance or internal road cannot take the vehicle, ask whether a smaller vehicle or extra carrying applies and whether it is in the quote.
  • Mode and dates: shared mode costs less but depends on consolidation, and a fixed arrival date usually points to a dedicated vehicle.
  • Dismantling and refitting: beds, wall units and modular wardrobes take time, and some fittings, such as air conditioners, need a qualified technician.

Send a room-wise list and relevant item photos so the estimate follows the final load. Keep private documents and valuables out of survey photos.

Shared or dedicated vehicle, and how the calendar is counted

In shared (part-load) mode your goods travel with other consignments heading the same way. In dedicated mode the vehicle carries only your goods. The choice affects both the price guide and how many days the journey takes.

Planning calendar by mode
ModePlanning estimate after actual dispatchSuitsWorth asking
Shared (part-load)About 5–7 daysFlexible dates, smaller loads, lower budgetExpected dispatch window, and whether goods change vehicles on the way
Dedicated vehicleAbout 3–4 daysFixed arrival date, a full house, fragile or bulky goodsLoading date and the vehicle size proposed

How the days are counted

The days start when the vehicle actually leaves Pune. They are planning estimates for this route, not results from any particular trip, and traffic, weather, vehicle availability and waiting at either end can change them.

Packing and loading happen before departure and take extra time. In shared mode there can also be a wait while the vehicle is filled, so ask for the expected dispatch window in writing, not only the number of travel days.

Car and bike carriers run on their own schedule, so the vehicle calendar is confirmed separately from the household one.

Few items and shared-load moves to Gurgaon

Not everyone is moving a whole house. A professional relocating for a job may be taking a bed, a desk, a refrigerator and some boxes, or a family may be sending part of the household ahead. For loads like these, shared mode is usually the natural fit, and it is priced by the space your goods take up.

The 1 BHK range in the price guide is a reference point, not a minimum. A very small load can be quoted differently, so send the actual list and not the BHK label.

  • Ask how the space is measured and what the quote assumes about boxes and loose items.
  • Ask whether your goods stay in one vehicle for the whole journey or are moved between vehicles, and where that would happen.
  • Number and label your cartons, and keep a copy of the list, so the count can be checked at delivery.
  • If one or two items are valuable or fragile, say so, as that can change which mode is sensible.
  • If you need certain items soon after arrival, the shared calendar may be too slow for them, so plan to carry what you need on day one yourself.

Car and bike transport from Pune to Gurgaon

Vehicles are priced by category, separately from household goods. The figures are planning guides, and the final amount depends on the actual vehicle and the booking.

Vehicle transport planning guide, Pune to Gurgaon
Vehicle categoryPlanning guide
Bike up to 150cc₹4,800–6,500
Premium bike₹6,800–9,500
Hatchback car₹9,500–12,800
Sedan or SUV₹12,500–17,500

A premium bike is judged by the actual model, not by an engine-size cut-off. For a household and vehicle booking, request separate scope and price lines followed by one payable total. Household shared or dedicated mode does not change the vehicle-category guide.

What to settle before booking

  • Acceptance: tell the operator the make, model, fuel type and whether the vehicle runs. Electric vehicles and non-running vehicles need to be accepted in advance.
  • Carrier preparation: ask the operator for their own instructions on fuel level, battery and loose items. Please follow those and not generic advice.
  • Condition record: photograph the vehicle on all sides at pickup, note existing marks, and list accessories and keys handed over.
  • Personal items: remove them from the vehicle unless the operator has agreed to carry them.
  • Paperwork: keep your registration and insurance papers with you. For anything linked to registering the vehicle in another state, check with the RTO and ask the operator what they need from you.
  • Calendar: confirm the carrier’s dates separately from the household move.

Work start: personal belongings and employer equipment

Separate employer equipment from your personal boxes

Packed cartons and household pieces grouped together inside a room.
Packed cartons and household pieces grouped together inside a room.

Once everything is boxed, ownership can be harder to recognise. The grouped cartons in this photo are a useful prompt to identify employer equipment before it joins a personal household load.

For a Pune to Gurgaon job transfer, ask your employer how its equipment should be released, packed and received. Keep those item references separate from your own furniture and belongings. Follow the employer's instructions for laptops and data; do not assume household packing covers technical disconnection or testing.

Give each receiver the relevant list and agreed contact. Keep the paperwork needed for employer approval with you, rather than inside a sealed moving carton.

Gurugram’s IT, BPO and corporate employment makes work-start planning relevant to a Pune transfer. If you are taking a home workstation, decide what belongs to you, what belongs to your employer and what you need on your first working day before the packing list is final. A truck arrival does not by itself mean your workspace is ready.

Split the setup into three groups

Who owns what, and how it travels
GroupExamplesWho decidesHow to handle it
Personally owned household and WFH itemsYour own desk, chair, monitor, lamp, router and shelvesYouNormal packed inventory, listed and quoted with the household move
Employer-owned equipmentCompany laptop, monitor, docking station, headset, security tokensYour employer, IT team or asset ownerDo not hand it to movers unless the owner or IT team approves. Follow their instructions on release and receiving
Approved self-carry essentialsLaptop and charger, ID, documents, medicines, whatever you need on arrival dayYou, and the employer for anything it ownsTravels with you, not on the goods vehicle

If the owner approves company equipment going with movers

  • Serial numbers: record the serial number of each item before packing.
  • Accessories: count chargers, cables, docks, keyboards and mice along with each device.
  • Condition: photograph each item and note any marks at pickup.
  • Release: name the person who signs the equipment out in Pune.
  • Receiver: name the authorised person who signs for it at the other end.
  • Testing: have a qualified IT person check and set up the equipment after delivery. Allow your IT team to complete the checks needed before the device returns to use.
  • Credentials: never write passwords, PINs, recovery codes or login details in the inventory, on labels or in notes. Follow your IT team’s instructions on preparing a device for transport.

Whether company equipment may go with movers at all is for your employer to say. This page does not set out any employer’s rules.

Joining date, dispatch and a back-up workspace

A truck arriving is not the same as being ready to work. After delivery there is unloading, assembling a desk, finding the router, connecting equipment and, for company devices, IT testing. Plan the dates in this order and compare them with your joining date.

  1. Packing and loading days in Pune, which come before departure.
  2. The actual dispatch date, or the dispatch window in shared mode.
  3. The delivery range: about 3–4 days after dispatch for a dedicated vehicle, or about 5–7 days for shared.
  4. Unloading, assembly and setup time on top of that.

If the delivery range runs past your joining date or the date you are expected to work from home, speak to your employer about where you will work in the first days, such as an office desk or another arrangement they suggest. Do not rely on the truck date. Keep your laptop, charger and papers with you meanwhile.

Office address versus home address

An office address such as Cyber City is not automatically the home delivery address. If anything is going to the office, it is a separate stop with its own authorised receiver, and the stop and the scope need to be agreed in the written quote.

Separate stops, receivers and scope
StopTypical contentReceiverScope to agree
Home in GurgaonHousehold goods and personal WFH furnitureYou or a named family memberHousehold quote and calendar
Office address, if the employer approves a delivery thereApproved office-delivery items listed separatelyThe person the employer authorisesSeparate stop, noted in writing before dispatch

A worked example (hypothetical)

Consider this hypothetical planning example: an employee joins on Monday and moves a personally owned desk, chair and monitor to a Sector 56 flat. Those items go on the household inventory, with a dispatch window and a delivery range written in the quote. Any company equipment is released and received the way the employer instructs, and the employee keeps the day-one essentials. If the delivery range runs beyond the joining date, the employee asks the employer about a workspace for the first days.

Small office moves from Pune to Gurgaon

Quote a business move from its asset list, approved receiving address and required handling. Label desks, screens, computers and accessory cartons so each item can be matched at the Gurgaon handover.

  • Record asset IDs and the condition of large or fragile pieces before packing.
  • Assign an authorised sender in Pune and a receiver at the actual office entrance.
  • Agree loading access, lift use, placement and any furniture assembly in the written scope.
  • Have the employer prepare backups and arrange qualified IT disconnection, reconnection and testing.

Plan how staff will work while shipped equipment is unavailable. A spare or temporary workstation arrangement is an employer decision and should not depend on assuming the truck will arrive at a particular hour.

Preparing furniture and appliances for the road

Agree protective materials by item rather than by the BHK label: surface and corner protection for furniture, cushioned cartons for fragile pieces, and suitable outer protection for screens. Label by room and keep fittings from dismantled furniture identified with the correct piece. Custom crating or specialist handling should be listed where needed.

Furniture: measure before loading day

For each large piece, measure the packed width, height and depth. Then measure the usable door width at both ends, the lift cabin size and its load limit, and the turns on the stairs at both ends. A wardrobe that fits through the Pune door can still fail at a service lift or a narrow staircase in Gurgaon, so tell the crew about any tight spots in advance.

The crew should confirm that each piece can physically be moved, and whether it needs dismantling, before loading, not at the door in Gurgaon.

Appliances

  • Keep the manuals, as they give the maker’s guidance for moving each appliance.
  • Washing machines: have the manufacturer-required transit bolts fitted for transport and removed before the machine is used again.
  • Air conditioners: removal and refitting, including gas, electrical and plumbing work, needs a qualified technician.
  • Other electrical, plumbing and IT connections: use qualified technicians for these too.
  • Technician work is separate from moving unless the written quote says it is included.

Receiving in Gurgaon: society, lift and addresses

Gurgaon has many high-rise societies and gated sectors, and each has its own arrangements for vehicles, lifts and permissions. There is no single rule that covers all of them, and this page does not give fixed timings. Before the delivery day, ask your society or building management what they require for a goods vehicle, a service lift and moving in, and share that with the operator. The operator then confirms the current vehicle, date and route against it.

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, also known as Agarwal (ALPM) Packers and Movers, lists its Pune office at Office No. 18, Sector 24, Near Ramdev Dhaba, Transport Nagar, Nigdi, Pune 411044. Its registered office is in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. The phone number is +91 9467186002. The scope of each move is set from the inventory and access details and put in a written quote.

Builder floor or new tower: plan for the actual property

A Gurgaon address needs the building type as well as the locality. A builder floor and a tower apartment can need different unloading arrangements even when both are described as a 2 BHK.

  • A builder floor in a DLF phase or Sushant Lok: give the phase or block, house number and floor. Ask the owner whether any lift is approved and large enough for furniture. Share the narrowest stair or landing measurements and the actual roadside parking point with the operator. If a large piece cannot pass, agree a feasible dismantling or alternative plan before it leaves Pune; do not assume lifting from a balcony is part of ordinary handling.
  • A newly occupied tower near Dwarka Expressway or in New Gurgaon: confirm that your particular flat is handed over, interior work will be clear of the unloading path, and the service lift is operational and available for your slot. Ask maintenance whether registration, a deposit or crew details are required. These are property checks, not a single rule for every tower.

Write the sector, society or colony, block or tower, flat or house number, and unloading-gate pin together. Ask the receiver to check that the gate can actually be used for goods delivery. A pin at the main sales office or visitor entrance may not identify the tower’s unloading point.

If the property is not ready, compare the operator’s actual date-change terms with the written waiting or holding charges before choosing. Confirm a revised dispatch and receiving plan with both sides; neither option should be assumed to be free or cheaper.

Items to keep out of the load

Some things should not go on the vehicle at all, and others should travel with you.

  • Excluded: fuel, LPG cylinders and fireworks.
  • Keep with you: valuables, jewellery, cash, medicines, important documents and, for work, the essentials listed in the work-start section.
  • Declare first: plants. Acceptance is assessed before they are added to the quote and they may be declined.
  • Declare separately: anything unusual, such as sealed stock or trade goods, so the operator can decide before it is added to the list.

If you are unsure about an item, declare it. It is much easier to rescope a quote before loading than on the day.

Holding goods if the Gurgaon home is not ready

Sometimes the move date comes before the keys. Holding goods is possible only if it is arranged, so do not assume it is part of a standard quote. If you need it, get these points written down before dispatch.

  • Location: where exactly the goods will be kept.
  • Operator: who runs the place or vehicle.
  • Custody: whether goods stay loaded or are unloaded, and who holds the keys.
  • Counts: an item or carton count at the time of handover.
  • Condition: the condition of goods recorded on entry.
  • Duration: the start date, the end date, and what happens if you need longer.
  • Rate: the charge per day or week, and any handling charge on top.
  • Access: whether you can visit or take something out during the period.
  • Redelivery: the cost, the timing and the address that delivers it to, including whether that address can change.

Holding changes the calendar and the final total, so confirm both once the arrangement is agreed.

Written quote, optional cover, payment and damage claims

What the written quote should show

  1. Your inventory, with photos or a video behind it, and both addresses with floors and access.
  2. The mode (shared or dedicated), the vehicle category if a vehicle is included, and the figure that covers the move.
  3. What is inside that figure and what is separate: GST, tolls, optional cover, technician work, difficult access and holding.
  4. The dispatch window and the planning calendar, with packing and consolidation time shown before departure.
  5. Who loads, who unloads in Gurgaon, and who signs for the goods at each end, including any separate stop.

Optional cover

Transit cover is optional and depends on the provider’s terms. It should not be treated as included unless the quote says so. Ask for the policy wording, how the declared value is decided, what is excluded and how a claim is made.

Payment and damage claims

Before booking, confirm how much is paid in advance, when the balance is due and what happens if dates change. At delivery, check cartons against your list, note any damage on the delivery paperwork at the time, take photos, and then follow the claim steps in the written terms.

From the Pune walkthrough to Gurgaon handover

Before loading, match the accepted inventory to the goods and agree any change in writing. Keep the consignment reference and actual departure update. At delivery, reconcile package counts and visible condition with the receiver before the crew leaves, record any exceptions, and retain the invoice and payment receipts. Packing, dispatch, arrival and payment dates should reflect their actual events.

FAQs: Pune to Gurgaon Moving

How much do packers and movers charge from Pune to Gurgaon?
As a planning guide, shared mode runs about ₹10,500–16,000 for a 1 BHK, ₹14,500–22,000 for a 2 BHK, ₹19,000–28,500 for a 3 BHK and ₹25,000–39,000 for a 4 BHK. A dedicated vehicle runs about ₹18,000–25,000, ₹25,000–36,000, ₹33,000–46,000 and ₹47,000–67,000 for the same sizes. Your own figure is set after the inventory and access check, and a larger inventory is assessed on the actual list.
What is the road distance from Pune to Gurgaon?
Use around 1,400 km as an early road-distance guide. The exact route depends on the Pune or PCMC pickup, Gurugram destination and road combination suitable for the goods vehicle. NH48 and NE4 feature in the route options; the dispatch team confirms the plan for your booking.
How long does house shifting from Pune to Gurgaon take?
As a planning estimate, a dedicated vehicle takes about 3–4 days and a shared one about 5–7 days, counted from the day the vehicle actually leaves Pune. Packing, loading and any wait for consolidation come before that and are extra. These are estimates, not results from a specific trip.
Should I choose shared or dedicated for my move?
Shared mode costs less and suits flexible dates and smaller loads, but your goods depend on how and when the vehicle is filled. A dedicated vehicle suits a fixed arrival date, a full house, or fragile and bulky goods. Ask for the dispatch window in writing either way.
Are GST, tolls and transit cover included in the price guide?
Do not assume so. The guides are planning ranges, and the written quote should state what the figure covers. GST, tolls, optional cover, technician work, difficult access and holding are confirmed once in the final payable total. Ask for each to appear once.
How much does car or bike transport from Pune to Gurgaon cost?
As planning guides, a bike up to 150cc is about ₹4,800–6,500, a premium bike about ₹6,800–9,500, a hatchback about ₹9,500–12,800 and a sedan or SUV about ₹12,500–17,500. A premium bike is judged by its actual model. The carrier’s calendar is confirmed separately from the household move.
Can I send only a few items from Pune to Gurgaon?
Yes. Shared (part-load) mode is usually the fit for a few items. Send the actual list and photos, not just a BHK size, and ask how space is measured and whether goods are moved between vehicles on the way.
Can my company laptop or monitor go with the movers?
That is for your employer, IT team or the equipment’s owner to decide. Do not hand over company equipment unless they approve. If they do, record serial numbers, accessories and condition, name who releases it in Pune and who receives it in Gurgaon, and have a qualified IT person test it afterwards. Never put passwords or login details in the inventory.
Will my goods arrive before I start work in Gurgaon?
Do not assume so. Compare your joining date with the dispatch date and the delivery range of about 3–4 days dedicated or 5–7 days shared, then add unloading and setup time. If the range runs past your start date, ask your employer about a workspace for the first days, and carry your laptop, charger and papers with you.
Can household goods and office equipment be delivered to different addresses?
Yes, if it is agreed. An office address such as Cyber City is not automatically the home delivery address. Anything going to an office is a separate stop with its own authorised receiver, and it needs to be written into the quote before dispatch.
What should I check for furniture and society rules in Gurgaon?
Measure each large piece packed, then the usable door width, the lift cabin size and load limit, and the stair turns at both ends. Ask your society or building management what it requires for a goods vehicle and service lift. Share all of this before loading day so the crew can confirm each piece can be moved.
What happens if my Gurgaon home is not ready on time?
Holding goods is possible only if it is arranged and written down. The arrangement should name the location, operator, custody, item counts, condition, duration, rate, access and redelivery terms. It changes the calendar and the final total, so confirm both once it is agreed.
My Gurgaon home is a builder floor. What access details should I share?
Give the phase or block, house number and floor, the narrowest stair and landing measurements, any lift approved for furniture, and the actual parking point. Compare these with the packed sizes of large items before loading in Pune. Agree a feasible dismantling or alternative plan if a piece cannot pass; balcony lifting is not assumed to be ordinary handling.
Is a newly handed-over Gurgaon tower ready for a full household delivery?
Check your particular flat and building first: possession and keys, clear access after interior work, a working service lift and an approved unloading slot. Ask maintenance what registration or crew details are needed. If anything is pending, compare actual rescheduling and holding terms and agree the revised plan before dispatch.
