Pune to Ajmer shifting charges: planning bands for 1 to 4 BHK
The bands below are planning guides, not a final price. The packing column covers packing labour and materials; the next column covers loading and unloading, so labour is not counted twice. They are written for a shared or part-load arrangement, where your goods travel with other consignments. A dedicated vehicle has no separate band on this page and is quoted on your inventory. GST, where applicable, is shown as its own line on the written quote. Any cover or extra service is part of the quote only if it is stated there; it is not automatically included.
| Home size | Packing labour and materials | Loading and unloading | Transport | Total planning band |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 BHK | Rs. 3,500–5,000 | Rs. 2,500–4,000 | Rs. 10,000–14,000 | Rs. 16,000–23,000 |
| 2 BHK | Rs. 5,500–8,000 | Rs. 4,000–6,000 | Rs. 13,000–18,000 | Rs. 22,500–32,000 |
| 3 BHK | Rs. 8,500–12,000 | Rs. 6,000–9,000 | Rs. 17,000–23,000 | Rs. 31,500–44,000 |
| 4 BHK or bungalow | Rs. 12,000–18,000 | Rs. 8,000–12,000 | Rs. 22,000–30,000 | Rs. 42,000–60,000 |
What moves a quote up or down
- Volume and item count, including heavy pieces such as wardrobes, refrigerators and beds.
- The number of fragile or high-value pieces and how much custom packing they need.
- Floor level, lift availability and the walking distance from your door to where the vehicle can stand, at both ends.
- Whether furniture needs to be dismantled and reassembled.
- Whether your goods go on a shared load or a dedicated vehicle.
- Any extra handling at the Ajmer end, such as a carry over a long lane, a smaller-vehicle transfer or holding days.
What a written quote should state
- Whether the transport line is a shared or a dedicated arrangement.
- What the packing line includes and which items are priced separately.
- Whether unloading, placement and reassembly are included.
- Any waiting, holding or transfer terms that could add to the total.
- GST as a separate line, and any cover terms that actually apply to your goods.
Pune to Ajmer distance, route and transit time
For planning we use about 1,200 km as a broad guide for the road corridor between Pune and Ajmer. Published distances differ because planners assume different roads, so treat the figure as a planning number, not a measured trip. Your actual truck route, and the exact pickup and delivery addresses, can differ from it.
The usual corridor
A long-haul truck commonly follows Pune, then Mumbai, then north along the NH48 corridor through Vapi, Surat and Vadodara to Ahmedabad. From there the route goes through Himatnagar and Udaipur and on via Beawar to Ajmer. This crosses Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Toll and fuel are part of the transport line in your quote. We do not publish a fixed toll total because it depends on the vehicle and route.
Planning time after dispatch
| Arrangement | Planning transit after dispatch | What sits outside this figure |
|---|---|---|
| Dedicated vehicle | 4–6 days | Packing, loading and any day spent at origin |
| Shared load | 7–8 days | Packing, consolidation with other goods and any day spent at origin |
These are planning ranges, not trip results or guarantees. Weather, road works, traffic and the receiving slot at Ajmer can all shift them. Plan your key handover date with a buffer, and ask for the ETA to be rechecked as the vehicle gets close.
Delivering to your actual Ajmer address
Ajmer is not one kind of delivery. The right plan depends on which part of the city, or which nearby town, your goods are going to.
Three kinds of Ajmer address
- Homes in localities such as Vaishali Nagar, Panchsheel Nagar and Civil Lines are usually planned as residential-street deliveries. Confirm the gate, the road width, where the vehicle can stand, the floor and the lift.
- Addresses around Dargah Bazar, Naya Bazar and Madar Gate sit in lanes where foot traffic, shop frontage and lane width decide how far a vehicle can get. Tell us the lane as you know it, and plan the last stretch before booking.
- Pushkar and Kishangarh are separate endpoints. Pushkar is a separate town about 14 km from Ajmer. A quote written for an Ajmer address is not automatically valid for either, so give the exact address.
What to share for a useful plan
- The full address, pin code and a nearby landmark.
- Floor, lift and stair details, including turns and railings.
- The lane or road width as you have seen it, and where a vehicle could stand.
- The receiver's name, phone number and any building or society permission.
How the last stretch can be done
- Direct unloading, if the main vehicle can reach the entrance.
- Hand carry from a lawful, safe standing point, with the distance, crew and handling price agreed.
- Transfer to an assessed smaller vehicle at a lawful, feasible point agreed in writing. Record the operator, crew, local legs, unloading and reloading, item IDs and physical counts, condition, custody and total cost once.
- Assessed holding, when the receiving slot or the address is not ready.
A hand carry over a long lane is not the same job as a smaller-vehicle transfer. Handling, time and risk differ, so each option is stated and priced in the quote when it applies.
Railway colonies, campuses and government quarters
If your new home is a railway quarter, a school or university residence, or government housing, give the residential block and quarter or flat number. A station, office or campus name may lead to a different gate. Ask the estate or campus contact whether a goods-vehicle slot or entry authorisation is required for that residence. Add the actual answer to your receiving plan before dispatch so the crew does not reach the right institution at the wrong entrance.
Nasirabad, Beawar and other nearby towns
Besides Pushkar and Kishangarh, a few other places are often grouped with Ajmer but are separate endpoints. Nasirabad, with its cantonment, lies to the south-east, and Beawar is an earlier endpoint on the Udaipur–Beawar–Ajmer corridor described above; the carrier still needs your actual destination to choose its route. Kekri is further out. Give the actual town and PIN, and for cantonment or defence housing, the estate office's gate and timing, so the quote is written for that place.
Packers and movers Pune to Ajmer: services and who this page is for
This page is for households, employees, small offices and vehicle owners in Pune and PCMC who are moving to a specific address in Ajmer, not just to the city name. The long run between the two cities is similar for most customers. What changes the job is your inventory, the access at both ends and the date on which you need to receive the goods.
What Agarwal (ALPM) handles on this route
- House shifting: packing, dismantling where the design permits, loading, transport, unloading and placement before unpacking begins.
- Few-item and shared-flat moves: a limited set of items sent as a part load instead of a full home.
- Office physical assets: desks, chairs, cabinets, storage and IT equipment moved as a listed set of assets.
- Car and bike transport, arranged separately from household goods.
- Packing and dismantling, including item-specific handling for fragile or awkward pieces.
- Assessed holding when the Pune or Ajmer end is not ready on the planned date.
Every job starts with an inventory and access enquiry. You tell us what is moving, where it is, which floors and lifts are involved and what the Ajmer address looks like. The quote then states in writing what is included, so you can compare it fairly with any other quote.
House shifting Pune to Ajmer: what the job covers
A house move on this route has three parts: preparing and loading in Pune or PCMC, the long-haul transport, and unloading and placement in Ajmer. Each part has its own checks, and most problems come from skipping the access check at one end.
Before packing day
- Share a room-by-room list, photos and floor and lift details. Societies in areas such as Nigdi, Pimple Saudagar, Wakad, Hinjewadi, Hadapsar and Kharadi often have their own rules for lift booking and vehicle entry, so ask yours early.
- Measure large pieces by width, height and depth, and check them against the door, the lift entrance, the usable lift cabin dimensions and load limit, and the turns on any staircase, at both ends.
- If a piece cannot pass, dismantling is considered only where the design permits it and the owner agrees.
- Work on an air conditioner, gas connection, IT setup or electrical fitting is done by a qualified person for that trade.
On loading and unloading day
- Items are counted and identified against the inventory, with condition noted, before they are loaded.
- All booked goods are unloaded and placed within the accepted receiving slot before unpacking and assembly begin. This keeps the count clean while the vehicle is still at your door.
- The receiver at Ajmer should hold the keys, any building or society permission and the accepted slot before dispatch. The slot is rechecked against the expected arrival as the vehicle approaches.

A hypothetical Pune to Ajmer arrival and what to decide when
This illustrative example shows how a change of delivery slot can affect the budget. It is not a completed job or invoice. The amounts for extra handling and holding demonstrate the calculation; your own arrangement needs an assessed written price.
Suppose a family in Pimple Saudagar sends a 2 BHK on a shared load to a third-floor flat on a lane near Madar Gate. Dispatch is planned for Day 0 with a 7–8 day planning range, and the receiver provisionally reserves a suitable slot. The booking still needs an agreed arrival window; a planning range alone is not a delivery appointment. In this example, the third-floor indoor carry has already been assessed in the handling line.
| Line | Illustrative amount |
|---|---|
| Packing and materials | Rs. 6,500 |
| Loading and unloading | Rs. 5,000 |
| Transport on a shared load | Rs. 15,500 |
| Base total (inside the 2 BHK band) | Rs. 27,000 |
| Smaller-vehicle transfer for the lane | Rs. 3,000 |
| Total with transfer | Rs. 30,000 |
| Two days of holding at Rs. 1,200 a day | Rs. 2,400 |
| Total with transfer and holding | Rs. 32,400 |
Decide at origin, before dispatch
- Confirm that the receiver has the keys, any building permission and an accepted slot.
- Note the lane width, the lift cabin size and the stair turns, and check the big pieces (sofa, wardrobe, bed) against them.
- If the receiver cannot commit to a slot, agree a later dispatch date or confirmed origin holding before the goods leave Pune. Changing it at origin is simpler than changing it after the goods are on the road.
If the plan changes after dispatch
- About two days before the expected arrival, recheck the ETA with the coordinator and the receiver.
- If the slot holds and the vehicle cannot reach the lane, move to a documented hand carry or smaller-vehicle transfer, with physical piece counts, ID tags, condition and custody checked at each handover.
- If the slot is lost, choose between waiting with the vehicle, on the waiting terms in your written quote, or assessed holding, where counts and condition are recorded and a new delivery date is set.
- Whichever path is used, all goods are placed within the accepted slot before anyone starts unpacking or assembling.
Planning around pilgrimage and event crowds in Ajmer
Ajmer is a pilgrimage centre built around the Dargah, and lanes near it can be crowded at busy times. We do not assume any current restriction or give event dates here. What we suggest is a planning habit.
- If your address is in or near the Dargah-side lanes, ask a local contact or the building about foot traffic and access for the week you plan to receive.
- Choose a receiving slot that does not depend on reaching those lanes at a busy hour, and keep a spare day in your plan.
- Decide in advance whether you would prefer to hand carry, use a smaller vehicle, or hold the goods if access turns out to be slow.
- If your date might coincide with a local event, tell us when you ask for the quote, so the vehicle plan and the receiving slot are written with that in mind.
- For Pushkar, treat the endpoint as a separate town and plan the delivery as a separate stop, not as a variation of Ajmer city.
Share the date and the address early. A change made before dispatch is usually simpler than a change made on the road.
Packing and moving from Pune to Rajasthan: what to expect
Packing on this corridor must suit road transport and loading and unloading. Additional transfer handling is planned only if your job needs it. The method is chosen item by item.
- Furniture: corners and surfaces are protected and loose parts are secured. Pieces that can be dismantled safely are taken apart with the owner's agreement.
- Appliances: refrigerators and washing machines should be emptied, dried and ready on packing day. We follow the appliance maker's guidance where it exists, and an air conditioner or gas connection is detached by a qualified person.
- Electronics and IT: use original boxes if you still have them, and label cables and parts.
- Cartons: packed room by room with a list, so counts can be checked at delivery.
Keep these with you
Carry cash, jewellery, original documents, medicines and anything irreplaceable yourself. Fuel, gas cylinders, paint, matches and perishable food are usually kept out of a load. The quote lists the exact exclusions for your job.
Optional assessment for fragile marble, stone and household mandirs
If you are moving marble or stone pieces or a household mandir, ask for a piece-by-piece assessment before booking. It looks at each item's condition (chips, cracks, repairs, loose parts), its weight and shape, and how it will be carried at both ends. Packing then follows the actual item, using padding and, where the assessment calls for it, a box or crate made to size. Existing marks are noted before packing. A mandir with several parts is checked part by part, and idols and sacred objects are handled the way you tell us, including being carried by you if you prefer.
Office relocation Pune to Ajmer: physical assets
Office relocation to Ajmer is planned as a move of physical assets: desks, chairs, cabinets, storage, shelving and IT equipment. It does not cover data migration or software setup.
- Start with an asset list with tag numbers, counts and condition, prepared by whoever coordinates assets for your office.
- Label each item or group by desk and zone so the Ajmer layout can be followed on arrival.
- IT equipment is disconnected and reconnected by a qualified person. Back up data yourself before packing day.
- Confidential files can be carried by the office or sealed and counted as agreed in writing.
- Check the receiving building's access hours, lift size, loading area and any permission it needs before dispatch.
- Decide whether a shared or a dedicated vehicle suits the load and how many working days you can spend without the equipment.
Counts and condition are checked against the asset list when the goods are loaded and again when they are unloaded and placed.
Car transport and bike transport Pune to Ajmer
Vehicles are moved on a separate carrier arrangement from household goods. These are planning bands, and the final quote depends on carrier availability and your vehicle.
| Vehicle and carrier | Packing and handling | Transit | Total planning band |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bike up to 150cc | Rs. 1,000–1,500 | Rs. 4,000–5,500 | Rs. 5,000–7,000 |
| Premium bike 150–500cc | Rs. 1,500–2,500 | Rs. 5,500–7,500 | Rs. 7,000–10,000 |
| Hatchback, open carrier | Rs. 2,000–3,000 | Rs. 9,000–12,000 | Rs. 11,000–15,000 |
| Sedan or SUV, enclosed carrier | Rs. 3,000–4,500 | Rs. 12,000–16,000 | Rs. 15,000–20,500 |
Cover is not built into these bands. If you want it, it is arranged and written into the quote separately. GST, where applicable, appears as its own line.
What is decided for each vehicle
- Carrier type and availability. An open or an enclosed carrier depends on what is available for your dates, and an enclosed carrier is not assumed.
- Collection and delivery points, since a carrier may not enter a housing society or a narrow Ajmer lane.
- Model details, including whether it is an electric vehicle or non-running, because handling and loading differ.
- The preparation steps given by the vehicle maker and the carrier.
- Documents for your job, such as RC and insurance copies and ID. If the vehicle is under a loan, the quote tells you what the carrier needs and you should check with your lender.
Condition record
Existing marks are photographed, the odometer reading is noted, and keys and accessories are listed at pickup. The same check is repeated at delivery. For bikes, covers and securing follow the model, and crating is used only if the bike or the carrier requires it.
Why book with ALPM and how to choose any mover
Why book with Agarwal (ALPM)
- The enquiry starts from your inventory and access details, and the quote states its scope in writing.
- Packing, loading, transport, unloading and placement are shown as separate lines, with GST on its own line.
- Vehicles are quoted on a separate arrangement with a job-specific condition record.
- The Ajmer end is planned at the address level, including carry, transfer and holding choices.
- This page does not claim fleet size, certifications, review counts or years of experience. Ask for anything you want verified in writing, and ask the same of any other mover.
How to compare quotes
- Check whether the transport line is shared or dedicated. A large gap between two quotes is often a difference in scope, not in service.
- Check what the packing line includes and which items are extra.
- Ask who unloads and places the goods, and whether reassembly is included.
- Ask what happens if the receiving slot changes or the vehicle cannot reach the address.
- Ask for the cover terms that actually apply, and what is excluded.
- Ask how the final count and condition are recorded at pickup and at delivery.
The listed Pune office is Office No. 18, Sector 24, Near Ramdev Dhaba, Transport Nagar, Nigdi, Pune 411044.
How booking works from Pune to Ajmer
- Share your inventory, the pickup and delivery addresses and your preferred dates. You can reach Agarwal (ALPM) on +91 9467186002.
- Receive a written quote that states the scope, shared or dedicated transport, the packing basis and any conditional lines such as transfer or holding.
- Confirm the date, the receiver's name and contact, the keys, any building permission and the accepted receiving slot.
- On packing day, items are counted and identified, condition is noted, and anything that needs a qualified person for AC, gas, IT or electrical work is arranged.
- The goods are loaded and the vehicle is dispatched. The ETA is rechecked as it approaches Ajmer.
- At Ajmer, goods are unloaded and placed within the accepted slot. Counts and condition are checked against the inventory before unpacking and assembly start.
Payment terms, waiting terms and any holding terms should be stated in the written agreement before you confirm. Keep your own copy of the inventory and the quote.
Handling protection, cover and claims
Careful packing reduces risk but does not remove it. How a problem is handled depends on what was agreed in writing for your job.
- Cover is only part of your move if it is arranged and stated in the quote. It is not automatically included in the planning bands. Ask for the declared-value basis and what is excluded.
- At delivery, check the count and the condition of each item against the inventory before you sign, and write any difference on the delivery document.
- Take photos of any damage and of the packing, and keep them with the inventory.
- Report damage in the way and within the period stated in your written agreement. This page does not set a fixed deadline.
- If you pack some cartons yourself, ask how they are treated under the terms, since that can affect what can be claimed.
- For vehicles, compare the condition record taken at pickup with the vehicle at delivery, before you accept it.
These steps work best when the inventory, the receiving slot and the access details were agreed before dispatch.
