Local shifting charges in Nacharam

These are starting guides for a straightforward local house move within Hyderabad. They are indicative planning figures, not fixed tariffs, so you can sense-check a quote before anyone visits.

Local house shifting starting guide, Nacharam to elsewhere in Hyderabad
Home sizeStarting guideWhat usually pushes it up
1 BHKFrom ₹5,500Extra furniture, upper floors without a lift, a long trip across the city
2 BHKFrom ₹8,500Full bedroom sets, a large refrigerator, several flights of stairs
3 BHKFrom ₹12,500Many large pieces, full packing, dismantling of wardrobes and beds

What the starting guide assumes

The guide describes an agreed full scope: packing labour and materials, loading, road transport, unloading and any agreed furniture dismantling and reassembly, each counted once. A lightly furnished 2 BHK and a heavily furnished one will not price alike. If you pack your own cartons, or only need transport, the scope is narrower and the quote is written that way, so those quotes should not be compared line for line with a full-scope one. GST appears as a separate line on the quote, treated as it applies to your booking.

How other work appears on the quote

Anything else that has been assessed for your move, such as a long carry, fragile items or appliance work, is written once as included, as extra with an amount, or as not applicable. There is no automatic stairs fee or fragile fee, and the base work is not charged a second time. Unpacking and placement are agreed by extent. Agree which rooms receive the cartons, whether cartons are opened and emptied, and whether shelf placement or packing-waste removal is included.

What changes the final figure

  • The number and size of items, especially wardrobes, beds, dining sets and appliances
  • The floor level, and whether a working lift is available at both addresses
  • How far the vehicle must stop from the door, and how far goods must be carried
  • The packing level: your own cartons, partial packing or full packing
  • Furniture dismantling and refitting, and appliance disconnection or installation
  • The distance between the two addresses
  • The date and time of the move

Vehicle transport, holding of goods, specialist technician work and intercity distances are quoted separately. Few-item moves and office moves have their own sections below, because a BHK figure does not suit them.

House shifting from flats and independent homes

A home move from Nacharam starts with one plain question: is your address a flat in a building, a house on its own road, or a unit inside a business premises? The answer decides how access, labour and the vehicle are planned.

Flats and apartment buildings

For a flat we need the floor, the lift size, and any rules the building or society sets for moving days, such as permitted hours or a lift booking. Tell us about both addresses. A working lift at the old home and only stairs at the new one change the labour plan completely. Please measure the lift cabin and the door instead of calling them big or small, because the access section below explains how those figures decide what can travel upright.

Independent houses and colony homes

For a house, the main question is where the vehicle can actually stop and how far goods must be carried. We do not assume that every lane is narrow or every road is wide. Send the exact address with PIN code or a map pin, and a line on whether a larger vehicle can reach the door or the goods will be carried to a vehicle waiting on a wider road.

Moves to another part of Hyderabad

A shift from Nacharam to somewhere else in the city is still a local move. The effort depends on the distance between the two addresses and the access at each end, not on the name of the destination area.

Homes with a shop or workroom attached

If part of what you are moving belongs to a business, such as racks, a counter or cartons of stock, list it separately from the household goods. The readiness section below shows how to do that.

Access, lifts, stairs and the loading point

The address that matters on moving day is the point where goods actually leave and enter a building: a lift lobby, a gate, a goods entrance or a shutter. Naming it early helps the crew plan the approach and moving window.

Questions for the pickup point

  • Where can the vehicle stop, and how far is that from the door?
  • Is there a lift, and can it take wardrobes, sofas or cartons on a trolley?
  • Does the building, society or premises have its own moving rules or working hours?
  • Are there steps, a ramp or a gate that restricts the vehicle?

Questions for the delivery point

Ask the same questions about the destination, and confirm who will be there to receive the goods, with keys and the authority to let the crew in. If the new place is not ready, for example because of painting or pending keys, tell us before booking so the timing can be set properly.

Will it fit? Check both ends

Do not judge by eye. Measure the width, height and depth of each large piece in its fully packed form, and again for each separated panel if it can be taken apart. Compare both sets of figures with the door opening, the lift cabin width, height and depth, and the stair turns and landings at the old and the new address. A smaller truck does not solve a stair that a piece cannot turn on.

Dismantling is planned only where needed, the design allows it and the owner agrees. Protect and label the panels, keep fittings in a bag marked with the piece’s item ID, and do not put adhesive tape directly on a finished surface.

If a piece does not fit

Before loading, there are three options: a workable and permitted alternative carried out by a qualified person, a new slot once the problem is solved, or leaving that piece out of the move. After goods are already loaded, the piece is not abandoned or dropped from the list. It goes to a later agreed unloading time or to a confirmed holding arrangement, as described in the holding section.

When the vehicle cannot reach the door

A transfer to another vehicle, or a longer carry, is arranged only when it has been assessed and is permitted and workable. The scope names who operates the vehicle, where the transfer happens, which crew carries, unloads and reloads, and what each local leg costs, stated once. Item IDs, counts and condition are noted, and the change in who is responsible for the goods is recorded.

Using a landmark in your enquiry

A landmark helps us picture the pickup. If you use ESI Hospital Nacharam as a landmark, add your own building address, PIN, map pin and goods entrance. An approach photo and the assessed stopping point help distinguish the landmark from the actual place where loading will happen.

HMT Nagar, Snehapuri Colony and nearby address names

Include HMT Nagar, Snehapuri Colony, Karthikeya Nagar, Bapuji Nagar, Raghavendra Nagar or Nacharam Village when it is part of your address. An IDA Nacharam or Mallapur enquiry needs its own full premises address, gate and contact. Use the PIN on your own address rather than one code for every nearby locality.

Home gate, shop shutter or business goods entrance

Show the last turn and the actual loading approach in a short video. For a home, include the door, stairs or lift and the large furniture. For a shop or unit, show the shutter or goods entrance, the stock cartons and the fittings on the list. A main-road landmark does not mean the vehicle may stand there; confirm the permitted stop and any carry separately.

Moving hours and permission

Ask the owner, association or premises manager about goods-entry hours, a move-in or move-out pass, lift use, no-dues or NOC requirements and any deposit. Confirm both properties. A Sunday, evening or after-closing appointment is planned from those arrangements and availability rather than one rule for Nacharam.

Local Shifting from Nacharam to Uppal, Gachibowli and Other Areas

Give the receiving address along with your pickup when enquiring for Nacharam to Uppal, Habsiguda, Gachibowli or another Hyderabad destination. Use the two actual goods-entry pins for the road distance and allow travel between the loading and receiving appointments. A short drive still includes packing, carrying and unloading.

Receiving-side plans for local moves from Nacharam
DestinationWhat to settle before pickup
Habsiguda, Mallapur or UppalThe final lane, goods entrance, floor, lift or stairs and permitted stopping point, even for a nearby address.
Tarnaka, ECIL, Moula Ali or MalkajgiriThe complete colony and building address, packed furniture fit and the receiver’s agreed unloading time.
Secunderabad, Amberpet, LB Nagar or DilsukhnagarTravel allowance together with the actual entrance, unloading access and a receiver with keys.
Begumpet, Ameerpet or KompallyConfirm the goods entrance and full inventory, including any office or stock items, rather than timing the move from bedroom count.
Kukatpally, Madhapur, HITEC City or GachibowliPlan a cross-city travel allowance and check the receiving tower, service-lift reservation where required and permitted unloading hours.

For relevant receiving details, see Habsiguda moving guidance, the Malkajgiri shifting page or Gachibowli delivery planning. Confirm the individual building arrangements for your booking.

Few items, part load, furniture-only and transport-only

Not every move is a full home. A student with a bed and a few cartons, a family sending a refrigerator and washing machine to a relative, or a couple moving only a bedroom set do not fit a BHK price.

Few items within Hyderabad

These moves are quoted from your item list: the count and size of items, the floors and lift or stairs at both addresses, and the vehicle and trips needed. We do not publish one fixed number for them. A short list with one heavy appliance can take longer than a longer list of light cartons.

What to send

  • Every item with its count, and the size of large pieces such as wardrobes or sofas
  • The floor and the lift or stairs at the pickup and the delivery address
  • Whether any item needs dismantling, such as a bed or a wardrobe
  • Whether you want packing, or will pack small items yourself
  • The two locations and your preferred day

Part load on a route

Part load is different from a few-item city move. It means your goods take a portion of shared capacity on a route, so the shared-load rules in the intercity section apply: a calendar match and consolidation before dispatch. It is a smaller share of a shared load, not a third kind of service.

Furniture-only and transport-only

A furniture-only move carries the furniture you list, with the handling, protection and dismantling agreed in advance. It is not a dismantling-only visit. A transport-only move means the vehicle and driver. You or the helpers you name pack, load and unload, unless a crew is booked separately. Both have a narrower scope than a full-service move, and the quote should say so in plain words.

PG room, bachelor shifting or one appliance

List your own cot, desk, fridge, washing machine and cartons, marking anything that stays with the flat or hostel. Give the person who can hand over the goods and the destination keyholder. A few-item move is assessed for packing, weight and access; it does not automatically mean two helpers or one particular small vehicle.

Office and Shop Shifting in Nacharam and IDA Premises

Small offices, clinics and shops move for the same practical reasons as homes, but the goods are different: desks, chairs, steel cabinets, files, computers, counters, shelving and cartons of stock. The guide below is for local moves within Hyderabad. It is a broad guide to assets and access, not an intercity figure, not a per-person tariff and not a cap.

Hyderabad local office shifting guide
ScopeLocal guide
Some office goods₹4,500 to ₹9,500
Complete office₹6,000 to ₹19,000

Choosing between the two

Some office goods suits a partial move, such as a few desks and computers going to a new room. Complete office suits a full premises move. The wide range for a complete office reflects how different premises are: floors, lifts, the amount of furniture and files, and the distance all change the work.

The asset list we work from

For an office or shop we need a real asset list: item IDs, counts, condition, packed size for large pieces, who has authorised each item to move, and who will receive it at the new place. Shops add shelving, counters and stock cartons to the same list.

IT equipment and power

Back up before the move. A qualified person your business has agreed on should disconnect, and later reconnect, test and restart computers, network racks and printers. We do not set a fixed restart time, because a restart is safe only once the goods are in place and power at the new space is ready. Servers, safes and industrial equipment get an explicit assessment and are not priced from a table.

Personal items and files

Laptops, personal items and files can stay in the owner’s own custody if the owner prefers. Business assets follow the business’s own authority. Keep passwords out of the packing, and keep file contents off carton labels. Label by carton number and room instead.

Larger or technical set-ups

Large printers, network racks and specialised equipment are quoted after the assets and the access at both places have been assessed. Where an item needs an engineer to disconnect or install it, that work is checked separately and is not assumed to sit inside an ordinary moving price.

An IDA Nacharam office or stock-room enquiry

List office furniture, loose racks, tools and stock cartons by item and packed size for assessment. Keep fitted or connected items on a separate preparation list with the owner’s or vendor’s qualified contact. A release from its mounting is only one step: weight, condition, packed fit, lifting and road access still need assessment before acceptance.

Ordinary office and shop goods are different from plant, laboratory, hazardous or specialist machinery relocation. Identify those enquiries separately before discussing a price. Do not use the local office table as a machinery rate or as proof that a connected item is ready to move.

Shop trading hours and reopening

Label stock cartons by category or receiving shelf, with counters, display glass and fittings listed separately. Agree the loading and receiving appointment around trading hours where the properties allow it. Unload and place the complete ready load before rack assembly, shelf stocking or a qualified equipment restart. Reopening depends on that complete sequence rather than a promised next-morning deadline.

Before Packing: What Is Ready, What Stays and What Needs Work

Whether the move starts from a home, a shop or a small business unit, goods fall into two groups. Loose movables are assessed for contents, packed size, weight and handling access before acceptance for an ordinary move. Fixed, bolted or connected items must be released by someone qualified before they travel, and some items are beyond an ordinary move altogether.

What can move as ordinary goods and what needs release first
Type of itemHow it is treatedWhat to record
Beds, tables, chairs, sofas, office desksLoose movables, normal packing and loadingCount, size, parts to dismantle
Sealed, labelled cartons of files, books or stockLoose movablesCarton count, known weight if heavy
Steel cabinets and almirahsLoose but heavyDimensions, known weight, emptied contents
Wall-fixed or floor-fixed racks, shelving and countersStay until released by a qualified personWho released it, on what date, which parts were removed
Computers, servers, network racks, printersEquipment, assessed before the moveBackup, disconnection by owner or vendor, readiness at delivery
Machines, compressors, workshop equipmentNeeds a specialist assessmentVendor or engineer assessment before any quote

A readiness register, item by item

Give each item one of four statuses and keep it current until loading starts.

Readiness statuses
StatusMeaningWhat happens
ReadyLoose or released where needed; count, condition, packed size, weight and handling feasibility assessed, with an accepted receiving slotListed for loading
Pending releaseFixed or connected, and a qualified person has not yet confirmed releaseDoes not load. Before loading it is rescheduled or left out
Needs assessmentUnknown weight, fit or handling feasibility, or beyond an ordinary moveAssessed separately before it is quoted
StaysRemains at the premisesRecorded and not moved

For each line, the register should hold:

  • The item ID and count
  • The known packed size and weight
  • The condition, with the date of the photos
  • Where release is needed, the qualified person who released it and the date
  • The owner or authority who approves moving it
  • The accepted receiver slot

Nothing marked pending moves until it is ready and the receiving slot is accepted. An item that has been unbolted is not automatically safe to lift or carry, so the record should show who confirmed it and when. We do not give instructions for disconnecting wiring, gas or machinery. That belongs to the owner’s own qualified person.

A ready-to-pack checklist

  1. Write the actual item list with counts, not a rough guess.
  2. Measure large pieces and the doors, lifts and stairs they must pass through.
  3. Note the known weight of heavy items.
  4. Photograph important items with the date visible.
  5. List the parts already removed, such as shelves, glass panels or drawers.
  6. Confirm that anything fixed or connected has been released by the owner or the vendor’s technician.
  7. Prepare the delivery space: floor area marked, power points ready, and someone present to receive.

An illustrative example

This is an illustration, not an ALPM job. A small shop plans to move two wall-fixed racks, one counter and forty sealed cartons of stock. If everything moves whole, that is 43 inventory entries: racks R1 and R2, counter C1 and cartons K1 to K40. If a rack is taken apart, its loose parts and packages are tracked separately under that rack’s parent ID, and their counts are written once the owner’s release is done. Record the actual physical package count after preparation, without adding the parent rack again as another package. If a rack’s release is still unresolved before loading, that rack is rescheduled or left out before loading begins, the count and quote are updated, and only the authorised, ready scope proceeds. The load is fully unloaded and placed within the agreed unloading time before any rack is assembled or any computer restarted.

What this page does not cover

Laboratory or chemical goods, hazardous materials and plant relocation need specialist handling and are outside this page. Releasing an item does not turn an ordinary move into a specialist machinery service.

Packing, loading, furniture and appliance handling

The same tasks apply to most moves: packing, loading, transport, unloading and unpacking. What differs is how much of each you need, and the quote should say it.

Packing levels

You can ask for full packing, packing of fragile items only, or no packing if you have boxed your own goods. Unpacking and placement are agreed separately, by extent.

Fragile goods

Glassware, televisions and framed pictures need both soft cushioning and rigid protection, and a crate where one has been assessed as necessary. A wrap that protects the surface finish is not impact protection, so it does not replace either.

If you pack yourself

Before the move, ask four things about cartons you pack: whether they are accepted as packed, whether they will be inspected, how they will be handled, and whether cover applies to them.

Furniture dismantling and refitting

Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and modular units may need to come apart to pass doors and stairs. Tell us which items need dismantling and which are already in pieces, so refitting can be planned. Panels are protected and labelled, and fittings go into a bag marked with the item ID.

Refrigerators, washing machines and other appliances

Prepare and move each appliance as its model manual says, including how long it must stand before restarting. Where the model has transit bolts, they must be correctly fitted for travel and removed before first use. Always check the manual for your model.

Work that needs a qualified person

Disconnecting and installing split air conditioners, including gas handling, geysers, chimneys and similar items is electrical, plumbing or carpentry work. IT equipment is likewise handled by its own technician. This work is a separate scope, quoted separately or done by your own technician, and is not assumed inside a standard house-moving price.

Special pieces and parts

Point out puja items, glass shelves, framed work and other delicate pieces before packing so cushioning, support and rigid protection can be assessed. Keep fittings labelled with their parent item without taping directly to the finish. Carry personal or ceremonial essentials you need before unloading with you.

Short-term holding when move dates do not match

Sometimes the old place must be vacated before the new one is ready. Direct delivery is simpler when dates can be matched. When they cannot, a short-term holding arrangement may be discussed, but it is not automatic and it is not free.

What must be confirmed in writing

  • Who operates the holding and where it is
  • Who has custody, and the item IDs and counts that go in
  • The actual condition of the goods when they are received
  • Whether you can reach any of the goods during the period
  • How long the gap is likely to be, and the rate for that period
  • How the goods leave: the exit terms and the redelivery arrangement

What to decide first

Estimate the gap between move-out and move-in, and decide whether you may need access to anything during that time. Flag items sensitive to damp or heat, such as electronics and wooden furniture. Mention the gap in your first enquiry so the plan includes it. A holding arrangement is considered only after the items, the period and the handling are known.

Beyond Hyderabad: city-corridor guides

This page focuses on local moves from Nacharam, and it also covers three popular corridors. The figures are guides for a 2 BHK, and the distances are city-to-city road distances, not the distance from a particular Nacharam gate. Your pickup point, the destination, the full inventory and the vehicle type all affect routing and the final quote.

2 BHK corridor guides from Hyderabad
CorridorApproximate distanceShared loadDedicated vehicle
Hyderabad to VijayawadaAbout 280 km₹16,000 to ₹25,000₹23,500 to ₹33,000
Hyderabad to PuneAbout 565 km₹19,500 to ₹29,500₹28,000 to ₹39,000
Hyderabad to VisakhapatnamAbout 580 km₹20,000 to ₹30,500₹28,500 to ₹40,000

Shared and dedicated

A shared load uses part of a vehicle’s capacity alongside other consignments. It can carry a whole home when capacity and dates fit. Consolidation happens before dispatch and does not require a vehicle to be literally full. A dedicated vehicle is allocated to your goods alone, with pickup and delivery windows agreed with you. Road conditions and checks can shift a schedule; reconfirm the receiver’s readiness and agreed unloading time when the arrival estimate changes.

Planning days

  • Vijayawada: a dedicated vehicle may arrive the same day or the next day. This is provisional until the goods are loaded and dispatched and the receiver is ready. For shared loads, the calendar match is confirmed before booking, so no day range is given.
  • Pune: about 2 to 3 days for dedicated and about 4 to 6 days for shared, counted after dispatch.
  • Visakhapatnam: about 2 to 4 days for dedicated and about 5 to 7 days for shared, counted after dispatch.

Packing and any consolidation time come before the count begins, and they are additional.

For another destination, see the Bangalore route guide, Chennai moving details or Pune relocation page. Request the quote using your actual Nacharam pickup and full receiving address. Packing and shared matching before dispatch add calendar time rather than automatically another packing charge.

Book Around Rent, Business Hours and Receiving Keys

Share the deadline to vacate and the first time the new property can receive goods. For a shop, office or a home with a workroom, include the qualified vendor appointments and the goods that are still awaiting preparation. Reconfirm the item list if something will stay or move later.

Ask about availability early for weekends, month-end, holidays or a fixed gruhapravesam date, giving an alternative where possible. An urgent or Sunday enquiry depends on the load, crew, vehicle and property permissions. Obtain advance, cancellation and rescheduling terms before payment, and confirm any technician and lift bookings again after a date change.

In rain, keep stock and file cartons off wet ground, furniture dry before wrapping and a clear carrying path. Pause or revise unsafe handling instead of relying on extra plastic. Keep originals, medicines, valuables, keys, chargers and first-night essentials outside the main load, and recheck receiving access whenever the arrival time changes.

Bike and car transport

A vehicle has its own calendar, condition record and handover points, separate from the household schedule. It may not travel on the same day as your furniture.

Vehicle transport guides on selected routes
VehicleHyderabad to VijayawadaHyderabad to Visakhapatnam
Scooter up to 150cc₹4,000 to ₹5,000₹5,000 to ₹6,000
Motorcycle above 150cc₹5,000 to ₹6,000₹6,000 to ₹7,500
Hatchback, open carrier₹8,500 to ₹10,500₹10,500 to ₹13,000
Sedan or SUV, carrier type to confirm₹10,500 to ₹13,000₹13,000 to ₹16,000

These are not universal car prices. A closed carrier is quoted separately and is not included automatically.

What to settle before booking

  • The exact model, the carrier available for it and the date
  • The collection and delivery points, and who loads and unloads, with the cost stated once
  • Protection for the vehicle during transit
  • Dated photos of all sides, the odometer reading, the keys and any accessories left inside

Fuel, battery and papers

Fuel level and battery handling follow the maker’s and the carrier’s instructions, and there is no single rule. Ask us which papers the actual carrier wants for your vehicle and route, because requirements differ. Carry your own documents, cash, jewellery and medicines with you instead of putting them in the vehicle or the household load. Ask which items the carrier declines, and do not pack unsafe or prohibited goods in the household load. Ask the operator how declined items are handled.

How to compare movers, and how ALPM works

Two quotes for the same move can differ widely because they may not cover the same work. Compare scope before you compare price.

What to check when comparing quotes
CheckWhy it matters
Who does the jobSome listings pass your request to partner movers, while others are the moving company itself. Ask who will actually come.
Inventory usedA quote built from a real item list is more reliable than one built from a BHK size.
Packing material and labourConfirm whether boxes, wrapping and unpacking are included or extra.
Dismantling and refittingBeds, wardrobes and modular units add time if not included.
Floor, lift and carry distanceA quote that ignores these may change on the day.
Appliance and technician workAir conditioners and similar items are often a separate charge.
Holding and vehicle transportCheck whether they are mentioned and priced, or left out.
Cover, claims and termsAsk what cover applies, how a damage report is made, and what the payment and date-change terms are, in writing.

Reading a very low quote

Compare the included work as well as the headline figure. Ask what is not included before treating a lower number as a saving.

Using a visit or a video

For larger moves, ask whether a site visit or a video walk-through can confirm the inventory. It is the quickest way from a rough guide to a firm quote.

Why choose ALPM for your Nacharam move

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers is based in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. We handle home goods, office goods and shop goods, including packing, loading, transport and unloading, car and bike transport, assessed holding and help with cover. Each move starts from your inventory and the access at both ends, and we write the scope and the estimate down. The moving window is agreed with you, and goods are checked against the list when they are handed over. You can reach us on +919467186002 with your addresses and item list.

Business details and reimbursement papers

The published registered business is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. If an employer needs a particular invoice format or billing details, give those requirements at enquiry. Confirm the named contact and who handles each leg for your booking before approving the payable scope.

How the move runs: steps, timing, delivery check and records

The steps

  1. Share the pickup and delivery addresses, the kind of premises and your preferred date.
  2. Send an item list, or arrange a visit or video for larger moves.
  3. Review the written scope and quote, and confirm what is included: packing, dismantling, unpacking and any extras.
  4. Prepare goods with the ready-to-pack checklist, and arrange technician release for fixed or connected items.
  5. On the day, goods are packed, loaded and checked against the list.
  6. Goods are transported and unloaded at the destination, and unpacked if that was agreed.
  7. Check the goods at delivery and report any problem straight away.

Timing

A local move is usually planned for a single day. The time depends on the inventory, floors, lifts and the distance between addresses, and we confirm it once we know these. A small flat and a large house with dismantling do not take the same time. Peak dates such as month-end can be busier, so book early if your date is fixed. An intercity move depends on the corridor, on shared or dedicated loading and on when the vehicle is dispatched. Transit is counted after dispatch, and consolidation for a shared load comes before it.

Before dispatch

Before the vehicle leaves, confirm that the receiver has the keys, authority to accept the goods and permission for crew access, that any permission the building needs is in place, that the path is usable and that the slot is accepted. When the arrival estimate changes, recheck keys, permission, the usable path and the agreed unloading time. Putting one room first is possible only when the safe loading and unloading order allows it. All goods are unloaded and placed safely within the agreed unloading time first, and unpacking comes later, so no goods stay on the truck.

At delivery

Check goods against the list before the crew leaves. Ask the crew to help inspect fragile or heavy items safely. If something is damaged or missing, note it on the delivery paper and take photos with labels visible straight away. Raising a concern at the time is easier than reconstructing it later. Claim steps follow the terms in your booking, so ask for them in writing.

Records worth keeping

  • Dated photos of valuable or fragile items before the move, including existing marks
  • The item list you shared and the final list
  • Serial numbers of important electronics
  • The quote, the payment record and any delivery note
  • For a vehicle, the registration and insurance copies, kept apart from the household papers

Cover

Transit cover is a separate decision from the moving charge. Ask what is available, what it includes and excludes, what value is declared and what documents a claim needs. Treat cover as in place only when it is confirmed in writing. If you need a particular bill format for reimbursement, say so at the start.

FAQs About Moving in Nacharam

How much do packers and movers charge in Nacharam?
For a straightforward local move within Hyderabad, the starting guides are about ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. They assume an agreed full scope and are indicative, not fixed tariffs. The written quote depends on the inventory, the floors and lift, where the vehicle can stop, the distance between addresses and the services you add. GST appears as a separate line.
What can push a local quote above the starting guide?
Extra or heavy furniture, upper floors without a lift, a long carry from the door to the vehicle, a change to the agreed packing level, extra furniture dismantling or qualified appliance disconnection and a long trip across Hyderabad can all raise the figure. A busy date can also affect availability and price. Assessed extras are written once on the quote as included, extra with an amount, or not applicable.
Can you move only a few items from Nacharam?
Yes. A few-item move within Hyderabad is quoted from your item list, the floors and lift or stairs at both addresses, and whether any item needs dismantling, not from a BHK size. Part load is different: it is a portion of shared capacity on a route, quoted with the shared-load rules.
How much does an office or shop move within Hyderabad cost?
As a broad local guide, some office goods usually fall between ₹4,500 and ₹9,500, and a complete office between ₹6,000 and ₹19,000. This is not an intercity figure, not a per-person tariff and not a cap. Server rooms, safes and technical set-ups are quoted only after the assets and access have been assessed.
Is a move from a business unit handled differently from a home move?
The main difference is readiness. Loose furniture, files and sealed stock cartons are assessed for contents, packed size, weight and access before acceptance as ordinary goods. Racks and connected equipment must be released by the owner or a qualified person first, and some items need a separate assessment. We track each item as ready, pending release, needs assessment or stays, and record who confirmed release and when. The goods entry and loading point matter too.
Can you move racks, machines or laboratory equipment?
Loose racks and shelving that have already been released can be listed for assessment of packed size, weight and handling access before acceptance for a premises move. Machines, engineered equipment, laboratory or chemical goods, hazardous materials and plant relocation are outside this page and need a specialist assessment before any quote. Release by a qualified person does not by itself make an item part of an ordinary move.
How should I prepare furniture and appliances?
Empty cabinets and remove loose parts such as glass shelves and drawers. Tell us which items need dismantling, and measure large pieces against doors, lifts and stairs at both ends. Prepare and move each appliance as its model manual says, including any standing time before restart and transit bolts that must be removed before use. Arrange a qualified technician for air conditioners, geysers and chimneys where needed.
Do you offer storage?
Short-term holding can be discussed when move-out and move-in dates do not match, but it is not automatic and not free. It is considered only after the items, the period and the handling are assessed. Before any goods go in, we confirm in writing who operates it and where, who has custody, the item IDs and counts, the condition, access, duration, rate, exit and redelivery.
How long does a move take?
A local move is usually planned for one day, and the exact time depends on the inventory, floors, lifts and distance. An intercity move depends on the corridor and on whether the load is shared or dedicated. Transit time is counted after dispatch, and consolidation for a shared load comes before it. These are planning days, not guarantees.
What cover and documents should I ask for?
Ask what transit cover is available, what it includes and excludes, what value is declared and what a claim needs, and treat cover as in place only when confirmed in writing. Keep the quote, the final item list, payment records and delivery notes. Take dated photos before the move, and check goods at delivery so any problem is noted straight away.
Do the intercity guides apply exactly from my Nacharam address?
No. The Vijayawada, Pune and Visakhapatnam figures are Hyderabad city-corridor references for a 2 BHK, not the distance from a particular Nacharam gate. Your pickup point, the destination, the full inventory and whether the load is shared or dedicated all affect routing and the final quote. Planning days are counted after dispatch.
Can you transport my car or bike from Nacharam?
Yes, on selected routes. A scooter up to 150cc to Vijayawada is guided at ₹4,000 to ₹5,000, and a hatchback on an open carrier to Visakhapatnam at ₹10,500 to ₹13,000. These are route guides, not universal car prices. A closed carrier is quoted separately. The vehicle follows its own calendar, with photos of all sides, the odometer reading, keys and accessories recorded at handover, so it may not travel on the day your furniture does.
Do you take enquiries from HMT Nagar, Snehapuri Colony and Mallapur?
Yes. Send the actual colony or premises address, goods entrance, floor, inventory and date for assessment. Nearby locality names do not imply one common gate, PIN, road approach or set of building rules.
What will Nacharam to Gachibowli or HITEC City house shifting cost?
The local starting guide is ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK, with ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. The actual quote uses packed inventory, packing, floors, carrying distance and both complete addresses. Confirm the receiving appointment rather than timing the move from one locality distance.
Can I book an IDA Nacharam office or shop-goods move?
Send an asset and stock list for assessment, separating loose goods from fixed or connected items awaiting qualified preparation. The ordinary office guide does not price plant, laboratory, hazardous or specialist machinery relocation. Each accepted item still needs a suitable handling and receiving plan.
What if the full-load truck cannot enter my lane?
Send the approach and goods-entry photos so a permitted stopping point can be assessed. Compare a longer carry with a suitable smaller-vehicle leg, including each handling stage, responsibilities and the complete cost. A small vehicle does not solve a furniture fit problem inside the building.
Can I request a Sunday, urgent or changed-date move?
Ask about availability for your actual load, then confirm moving hours, lift and permission at both properties. Obtain the applicable advance, rescheduling and cancellation terms before paying. Reconfirm any technician, vehicle and property bookings after a date change.
