Shifting a house in Malkajgiri? Before choosing the truck, check whether it can reach both gates and whether your largest furniture can pass the doors, lift and stairs. Even a move to a nearby colony needs time for packing, carrying and unloading.
Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM), based at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, handles home, PG-room, office, shop and vehicle moving enquiries from Malkajgiri and nearby addresses. Local household starting guides are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. Malkajgiri local shifting charges for homes
Most people looking up packers and movers charges in Malkajgiri want a single number. A number is only useful with a scope behind it, so the starting guides below describe a local move within Hyderabad: a normal inventory for the home size, one pickup, one drop and workable vehicle access at both ends. They are indicative guides, not a fixed tariff.
Indicative local starting guides for home shifting in Malkajgiri
Home size
Local starting guide
What the guide assumes
1 BHK
From about ₹5,500
Light to moderate inventory, a vehicle that can stop reasonably close, no long carries and no specialist items
2 BHK
From about ₹8,500
Typical furniture and appliances for the size, packing of the main items, and a lift or easy stairs at both ends
3 BHK
From about ₹12,500
A larger inventory with more cartons and furniture, workable access and a normal working day for loading and unloading
A simple move can stay close to its guide. A move with more floors, longer carries or heavy pieces will sit above it. That is why we ask for your item list and the details of both addresses before confirming a figure in writing.
Two 2 BHK flats in neighbouring colonies can need very different work. One may have a lift and a stopping point at the door. The other may be on an upper floor with the vehicle stopping at the end of the lane. The furniture is the same but the effort is not, so the guide and the final quote are kept apart.
What a Malkajgiri quote covers and what moves it
The base scope
A written quote states the base work once: packing labour and materials at the agreed level, loading, road transport, unloading, and any agreed dismantling and reassembly of furniture. GST is a separate line, shown as it actually applies to your job, and this page does not apply a flat percentage. Any other assessed work is written as included, as an extra with its amount, or as not applicable, so nothing is counted twice. Stairs and fragile items are not added as automatic fees; if either changes the work, it appears as its own readable line. Unpacking and placement at the new home are agreed with a stated extent.
What moves the quote
Factors that move a local quote up or down
Factor
Why it matters
What to tell us
Inventory
More furniture, cartons and heavy items mean more labour and more vehicle space
Rooms in use, large furniture, appliances, books and kitchen items
Floors and lift
Carrying goods down and up several floors takes longer than a ground-floor move
Floor numbers, lift availability and cabin size at both ends
Vehicle stopping point
A long carry from the vehicle to the door adds time and may need extra hands
Where a vehicle can actually stop at each gate
Packing level
Full packing, fragile-only packing and self-packing are different amounts of work and material
What you will pack yourself and what you want packed
Dismantling and reassembly
Beds, wardrobes and tables that must come apart add handling time at both ends
The items that need to be taken apart and rebuilt
Date and time
Busy dates such as month-end and weekends can limit vehicle and crew availability
Your preferred date, how flexible you are and any society time window
Service levels, and who does what
Whichever level you choose, ask who packs, who loads, who carries, who drives the road transport and who unloads. Those five answers are the real difference between quotes.
Full packing: the team packs kitchen items, clothes, books, décor and fragile items, then loads, transports and unloads.
Fragile-only packing: you pack everyday items and the team packs glass, crockery, electronics and framed pieces.
Self-packed: you pack and label the cartons, and the team loads, moves and unloads them.
Crew and furniture handling only: the team protects, loads, transports and unloads the listed furniture, with dismantling and refitting only as agreed and where design permits; you arrange small items separately.
Transport only: the vehicle and driver move goods that someone else has packed and will load and unload.
House, PG, few-item and part-load moves
A PG room, a 1 RK, a family flat and a 4+ BHK villa all need different amounts of vehicle and labour, so each is quoted from the actual item list. There is no fixed tariff for a small load. The vehicle that suits it, the distance within Hyderabad, the floors and the carry at both ends set the figure, and photos of the larger pieces are usually enough to start.
A very low starting price advertised for a small-vehicle booking usually covers a different scope from a household move with packing and handling. Compare who packs, loads, carries and unloads before you compare the numbers.
Shared and dedicated vehicles
A whole-home move can travel on shared capacity when your dates and the capacity fit.
A part load is a portion of shared capacity. It is not a third mode of its own.
Transport-only is a scope of work, not a mode of travel.
Shared consolidation means your goods are planned alongside others on the same capacity. Ask for the confirmed dates rather than assuming a truck has to fill first.
A dedicated vehicle is allocated to your goods, with dispatch and delivery windows agreed for the booking.
House shifting and selected furniture
For full-home shifting, show the kitchen, bedrooms, living area, balcony and stored cartons during the survey. If only selected furniture is moving, identify every piece and the dismantling or reassembly wanted. Name the rooms for unloading so the large items can be placed before cartons are opened.
One Suitable Truck or More Than One Small-Vehicle Trip?
A few cartons, a packed bed and a refrigerator do not describe the same load as a full family home. Start with the packed sizes and carton count, then assess the vehicle’s usable space, weight capacity and ability to reach both entrances. A truck length or BHK label alone cannot settle that choice.
How the inventory changes the vehicle enquiry
Load
What to assess before booking
PG room, 1 RK or a few items
Ask whether one suitable small goods vehicle can carry the complete packed list with protection and restraint.
1 or 2 BHK
Include kitchen cartons, wardrobes, beds, appliances and loft contents; compare the assessed full load with the proposed vehicle capacity.
3 BHK, villa or independent house
Show goods on every floor, outdoor items, stored cartons and heavy furniture; confirm capacity and handling from the complete survey.
Approach unsuitable for the full-load vehicle
Compare a permitted longer carry with assessed small-vehicle trips or transfer, including each loading, unloading, local leg and the total amount.
If more than one trip is proposed, reserve the receiving access for every trip and keep a loaded-versus-delivered count. A small vehicle changes the road approach, not a stair turn or furniture fit. Confirm the vehicle and any transfer against the measurements, permitted stopping point and responsibilities recorded in the access checklist.
Packing, self-packed cartons and appliance preparation
Protecting fragile items
Fragile items need cushioning and rigid protection. Wrapping a glass top or a polished surface protects the finish from scuffs but does not protect it from impact. Where a piece is assessed as needing a crate or a rigid frame, the quote says so.
If you pack yourself
For self-packed cartons, ask whether sealed cartons are accepted as they are, whether any are inspected, how they will be handled and what cover questions apply to contents the crew did not pack. Label cartons by room and mark the heavy ones.
Appliances
Prepare each appliance for transport and for restart according to its own model manual.
If your washing machine model uses transit bolts, they must be correctly fitted for transport and removed before the machine is used.
Follow the maker's instructions on when to switch a refrigerator or washing machine on after it is placed.
Air conditioners need a qualified technician to uninstall and install them. Gas, piping and mounting materials are separate from the moving charge unless quoted together.
Electrical, plumbing, carpentry and IT work at the new home are separate scopes for qualified people.
Unpacking
Unpacking and placement are agreed with an extent: which cartons, which rooms, whether furniture is reassembled and whether packing material is cleared.
Check the Gate, Stairs and Furniture Before Choosing a Truck
A short distance on the map can still need a different vehicle plan. The card below is a phone-camera checklist for understanding both ends of a Malkajgiri move before a vehicle is chosen. Fill in each line at the pickup gate and the delivery gate separately.
Access-first survey card: note each point at both gates
Check
What to note at each gate
What it can change
Approach from the main road
The last main road or junction, and the turns from there to the gate
Which vehicle can reach the gate and how long the approach takes
Turns and blockages at your move time
Sharp corners, parked vehicles, hand carts, roadside stalls
Whether a different time of day or entrance is needed
Entrance width and height
Gate width, arches, canopies, overhead cables, tree branches, any posted height, basement ramp
Vehicle width and height, and whether a basement can be used
Railway crossing or underpass
Whether the usual way between your two addresses crosses a rail line or goes under a bridge, and any posted height
The approach chosen, the timing and the vehicle height
Safe stopping point
Where a vehicle can stop without blocking others, and the steps from there to the door
Carry distance and the number of hands
Carry path inside
Stairs, landings, lift cabin size, door widths and corners
Which furniture must be dismantled first
Society or owner rules
Permitted move hours, lift booking, gate pass and any deposit
The day and the time slot
Photos or a short video
Gate, lane, stopping point, staircase or lift
A quote that matches what the team will actually meet
Write down what is measured and what still needs checking
Mark an uncertain measurement as unknown rather than guessing it. A photo is useful for the conversation, but the packed furniture dimensions and tightest openings need a measured check.
The card tells us what to ask. The log below records what is measured and what is still unknown, so the vehicle decision does not rest on a guess. Keep one log for the pickup address and one for the delivery address.
Measured-versus-unknown decision log
Log line
What to write
Evidence to confirm
Date and person
The date of the measurement and photo, and who confirmed it
A named person at that address confirmed it
Largest piece
Length, width and height of the fully packed piece, and of its largest separated panel
Taken with a tape, with the tape visible in a photo
Door and lift
Door opening width and height, and lift cabin width, height and depth
Measured at the actual door and the actual cabin
Stairs
Stair width, turns and landing space
Measured at the tightest turn, not estimated from the flight
Stopping point
The spot assessed as a lawful place for the vehicle to stop
Assessed for safe access and permitted use; a photo records the actual location
Permissions
Society, owner or property permissions needed for vehicle entry, lift or timing
Confirmed by the person who can give them
Overhead or posted height
Any cable, arch or posted height on the approach
Verified on site, not read from a map
Each address then ends in one of two states.
Decision ready: applicable measurements and permissions have been checked, irrelevant lines are marked not applicable, and the assessed vehicle plan can be written.
Site survey needed: a heavy item is unmeasured, an overhead or posted height is unclear, or the stopping point has not been assessed.
An unmeasured heavy item or an unclear height needs a qualified assessment, not a guess. We never plan to drive under a clearance that has not been verified, and we do not advise altering or lifting overhead cables. If a height is in doubt, the answer is a different approach or an assessed plan, not a squeeze. Tell us which lines are guesses when you send the log.
Reading your Malkajgiri addresses before you move
Addresses in this part of Hyderabad are often written with locality names such as Safilguda, Neredmet, Mirjalguda, Anandbagh or Moula Ali. Treat these as address terms to give the driver, not as boundaries, and add the nearest main road or junction as well as the house number. Malkajgiri railway station can help describe the area, but the team still needs your actual goods entrance and assessed road approach.
Turning your addresses into moving decisions
What you notice
Question to check
Practical decision
Two addresses look close on the map
Does the usual road between them cross a rail line or pass under a bridge, and is any height posted?
Plan the vehicle for the real route, not the straight-line distance
The address is on a lane or colony street
How does a driver reach it from the nearest main road, and how many turns are there?
Give a junction or landmark as well as the house number
An older independent house
Are the gate, staircase and doors wide enough for your largest furniture?
Measure first and plan dismantling or another carry route
An apartment block with a gate and lift
What are the move hours, lift rules and vehicle entry rules?
Book the slot early and confirm vehicle height and entry
We do not assume that any lane is narrow, any house is old or any route crosses a rail line. Those are questions to answer for your two addresses. Roads and works change, so the approach is confirmed close to the move date and not from memory of the area.
Malkajgiri, Anandbagh, Mirjalguda and nearby enquiries
For Old or New Mirjalguda, East Anand Bagh, Vani Nagar, Vishnupuri or Gautham Nagar, include the colony and building as well as the nearest junction. A station-side address needs the correct road entrance, not the passenger entrance as its delivery point. Safilguda, Neredmet, Moula Ali, Sainikpuri, AS Rao Nagar and ECIL enquiries should each carry their own full pickup and delivery address rather than being treated as one gate or one set of property rules.
Local shifting from Malkajgiri across Hyderabad
Use both actual pins for road distance. A cross-city destination needs enough travel allowance between the loading and receiving appointments, while a nearby move can still involve lengthy stairs or packing.
Receiving checks for Malkajgiri local moving enquiries
Destination
What to plan
Safilguda, Neredmet, Anandbagh or Moula Ali
The exact colony, usable road approach and the new building’s gate, stairs or lift.
ECIL, Kushaiguda or Uppal
A receiver with keys, a permitted stopping point and the time needed to unload the whole inventory.
Secunderabad, Begumpet or Ameerpet
Travel between the two property appointments, including the final goods entrance rather than only a main-road landmark.
Kukatpally or Miyapur
The colony or phase, service-lift reservation where needed, and packed furniture fit at delivery.
Gachibowli, HITEC City or Kondapur
Arrival within the receiving property’s permitted hours, gate-pass requirements and distance from the vehicle to the flat.
Kompally, Alwal or Medchal
The final approach, full house or project address, and access or ongoing work affecting the unloading path.
Steel almirahs, solid wood cots, dining tables, sofa sets, older refrigerators and large trunks have often stood in one place for decades. They may have come in through a different door or before the surroundings changed. Measuring them is part of the plan, not a last-minute step.
The fit rule
Measure the fully packed piece: length, width and height, plus the tightest diagonal if it must turn.
If the piece comes apart, also measure each separated panel, the largest one in particular.
Measure the door openings, the lift cabin width, height and depth, and the stair turns and landings at the pickup address.
Repeat at the delivery address, because a piece that comes out may not go in.
Compare both sets of numbers and photograph the route with a tape measure in view.
A smaller truck does not solve a stair that the piece cannot turn on. The fit is decided by the carry path, not by the vehicle.
Choices for heavy or long-held furniture
Choice
When it makes sense
What to check first
Dismantle and rebuild
Beds, wardrobes and tables built to come apart
Whether the design permits it and the joints are sound
Carry down the stairs
Heavy pieces that cannot use the lift
Stair width, turns, headroom and landing space
Use the lift
Pieces that fit upright or on their side
Cabin size, door opening and the building's lift rules
Specialist handling
Items too heavy or awkward for a normal carry
Assessed on site, quoted separately and agreed before the day
Leave behind or replace
Pieces that cost more to move than to replace
Your decision, with the handling cost in front of you
A balcony or a hoist is not a default option. It is considered only when a qualified person has assessed it as permitted and workable, and the necessary permission and a written plan are in place.
Dismantling carefully
Dismantle only where the design permits it. Protect surfaces, label each panel, keep fittings in a labelled bag with the piece, and avoid sticking tape directly onto polished or painted finishes.
Before and after loading
If a piece does not fit or a route is not ready before loading, we reassess with a permitted alternative assessed by qualified people, a new slot, or by excluding that piece. If this only becomes clear after the vehicle is loaded, the goods go to an later agreed unloading time or a confirmed holding arrangement as described below. They are not left behind and not dropped from the job. We do not promise that a particular item will pass a particular opening until it has been measured.
Three Examples: A Difficult Approach, an Almirah and a Shop
These three scenarios are hypothetical planning illustrations. They are not records of completed jobs. Each ends in a plan that is written and agreed before the day.
Scenario 1: two addresses that look close
Imagine a pickup in an apartment block that a larger vehicle can enter, and a delivery a few kilometres away where the last stretch is narrow and an overhead cable runs across it. On the map it looks easy. Once the log is filled in, the height of that cable is unverified, so the plan waits for a qualified site check. The result may be a vehicle that fits both ends or a different approach, with the quote written for whichever is confirmed.
Scenario 2: an older house with a steel almirah
Imagine an older independent house where a steel almirah has stood in one room for many years. The staircase turns twice and the new home has a small lift cabin. The packed piece does not fit the cabin on its side. If the design permits, it comes apart with labelled panels and bagged fittings. Otherwise it is carried by the stairs after a measured check, or handled by a specialist that has been assessed and quoted separately. The choice is made before the day and not at the gate.
Scenario 3: a small shop moving after closing
Imagine a shop with shelving, a counter and cartons of stock. Slow-moving stock is packed during trading hours. The vehicle comes after closing, shelving comes down first and the counter goes last. The plan depends on market rules, shutter timings and the unloading point at the new shop, all noted before the date.
Office and shop shifting in Malkajgiri
Office and shop moves are planned around trading hours, building rules and the equipment that needs careful handling. The guide below is a Hyderabad local office guide for moves within the city. It is not an intercity rate, and it is not per employee or per desk.
Hyderabad local office shifting guide (within the city)
Type of office move
Local guide
What it covers
Some office goods
₹4,500–₹9,500
A partial move of selected furniture, files, boxes and equipment within Hyderabad
Complete office
₹6,000–₹19,000
A full local office move, with the final figure set by the quantity of furniture and equipment and by access at both buildings
A wide range is expected because offices differ so much. A larger or complex office needs an asset and access assessment, and this guide is not a maximum.
Assets, release and receiving
List the actual assets with an ID and count for each, their condition and their packed size.
Record who authorises the release from the pickup building and who receives at the delivery building.
Servers, safes and industrial equipment are explicitly assessed before they are quoted.
Personal items, files and laptops stay in the owner's custody if the owner chooses, while business assets follow the authority of the company. We do not need passwords, file contents or the labels on files.
IT equipment
Back up before the move. Disconnecting, reconnecting, testing, powering up and restarting computers, phones and cabling is done by a qualified person agreed in advance, either your own IT contact or a technician arranged and quoted separately. We do not set a mandatory restart timeline for IT equipment that could be unsafe to power on early.
Shops and small trading units
Plan the time needed to close, move and reopen. Packing of slow stock can happen while the shop is open, and the vehicle move is scheduled for early morning, evening or a closed day where the market and the building allow it. Shelving, counters and display units get their own line in the quote. Confirm which fittings are yours, which stay with the property and which need vendor work. Lift booking, building permission and any gate pass are confirmed for both buildings.
Choose a Date Around Work, Rent and Building Hours
Start with the old-home handover deadline and the time you can first enter the new home. For a joining date, school change or gruhapravesam appointment, allow for packing and unloading as well as the road journey. Keep an essential bag with medicines, originals, keys, chargers and first-night items outside the household packing.
Give alternative dates where possible for weekends, month-end and festival enquiries. An early start, Sunday or urgent move still needs crew and vehicle availability plus permission at both buildings. Check any move-out NOC, no-dues process, goods-entry pass, lift reservation or deposit with the relevant owner or association.
In rain, check the real approach and carrying path, keep cartons off wet ground and dry furniture before wrapping. Do not use an uncertain flooded approach or rely on plastic to dry damp contents. If the appointment changes, reconfirm the property access, vehicle and any technician work. Obtain the applicable advance, cancellation and rescheduling terms before payment.
Keys, Unloading and a New Home That Is Not Ready
Before dispatch
Before the vehicle leaves, confirm that the receiver has the keys and the authority to accept the goods, that any required property permission is in place, that the path is usable and that an agreed unloading time is booked. If the expected arrival time changes, recheck all of these.
Delivery day order
Goods are first unloaded and placed safely within the agreed unloading time. Assembly, unpacking and restarting of appliances by qualified people follow later. Priority for one room, such as a bedroom, applies only if a safe loading and unloading sequence permits it, and it never means goods are left on the truck.
Check cartons and large items against the list promptly, photograph labels and any damage to fragile or heavy pieces, and report any concern in writing with the photographs.
If the arrival plan fails after loading
If the new address cannot accept the goods at the agreed time, there are two routes: a later agreed unloading time, or a confirmed holding arrangement. A transfer to another vehicle is considered only if it is assessed, permitted and workable, and the quote says who operates it, where it happens, who carries, unloads and reloads, and what the local legs cost, stated once. Item IDs, counts and condition are recorded at each custody change.
What a confirmed holding arrangement must state
The operator and the location where the goods will be kept.
Who has custody, with item IDs and counts.
The actual condition of the goods and who can access them.
The duration, the rate, the exit terms and how redelivery will be done.
Holding is never assumed to be included. We do not promise our own warehouse or any free days. If you need storage between homes, ask for these points in writing.

₹13,000–₹16,000
These guides apply to the route and model type shown. The exact model, route and carrier type can change the quote.
An enclosed carrier is quoted separately and is not included automatically.
There is no single price for all cars, so the model and route are needed. A vehicle moving within Hyderabad is quoted after the model and distance are known.
Availability of the exact model and carrier depends on its own calendar. Confirm the collection and delivery points, the protection used and who loads and unloads, with the cost stated once.
Photograph all sides, and record the odometer reading, keys and accessories at pickup.
For fuel and battery, follow the maker's and the carrier's instructions. There is no universal rule.
Premium, electric or non-running vehicles need an assessment before they are quoted.
Carry documents, cash, jewellery and medicines with you. Ask the carrier which items are declined inside the vehicle and which vehicle papers it requires. Keep loose or unsafe goods out; record any accepted accessories under the carrier’s agreed scope.
For another destination, see the Bangalore relocation guide, Chennai moving page or Pune route details. Ask for a quote using the actual Malkajgiri pickup and full receiving address. Packing and consolidation before dispatch add calendar time rather than automatically adding a second packing charge.
Choosing a mover, the moving process and your records
Quotes are comparable only when they describe the same job. Write down your inventory, floors, lift, access and the services you want, and ask each mover to quote against that same list. Ask which access details the quote is based on, what packing level is included, which furniture is dismantled, how heavy items are listed, whether cover is offered and on what terms, what the written cancellation and rescheduling terms are, and which exact company name, GST details and address appear on the quote and invoice.

Why ALPM for a Malkajgiri move
ALPM works from Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, and you can reach us on 94 671 86 002. We plan the approach to both gates before committing to a vehicle, we state in writing what is included and what is quoted separately, and we do not present a starting guide as a final price. If a job needs a visit, a measurement or a specialist, we say so before quoting. Several unrelated companies use similar names in this sector, so rely on the exact name, GST details and address on the quote.
How the process runs
Share the pickup and delivery addresses, preferred date, home size or item list and floors.
Send the access log with photos of the larger items, or arrange a visit if the job needs one.
Receive a written quote that states the scope and anything quoted separately.
Confirm the date, the vehicle and the packing level, and agree any society time window.
On the day, cartons are labelled by room and fragile items are kept apart during loading.
Goods are transported and unloaded to the rooms you indicate.
Unpacking and reassembly happen where booked, followed by a final walk-through.
A local move inside Hyderabad is normally planned for one working day. A large inventory, full packing or heavy items can take longer, so ask for the plan for your own inventory and book early for month-end and weekends.
Records, cover and claims
Photograph valuable furniture, appliances and electronics, showing existing marks, and note serial numbers.
Keep jewellery, original documents, cash and medicines with you.
Ask for the list of cartons and large items that will be loaded.
Do not assume goods are covered in transit. Ask whether cover is offered, who provides it, what value it applies to and what is excluded, and get the terms in writing.
Expect a written quote, a booking confirmation, a loading list and a GST invoice for the services as applicable, and a condition record for vehicles.
Any claim is made under your actual booking, the cover you have and its written conditions. Keep those documents with your item list and condition photographs.
The published registered business is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. Confirm the named booking contact and who handles pickup, highway transport if any, and unloading for your shipment.
FAQs About Moving in Malkajgiri
How much do packers and movers charge in Malkajgiri?
As indicative local starting guides, a 1 BHK begins at about ₹5,500, a 2 BHK at about ₹8,500 and a 3 BHK at about ₹12,500 for a local move within Hyderabad with workable access. The final quote depends on your inventory, floors, lift, packing level, heavy items and how close a vehicle can stop at each gate.
Is the starting guide the final price?
No. A starting guide is where a quote begins, not a fixed tariff. Once we know your item list, floors, lift, the carry from the vehicle and the services you want, we confirm a figure in writing with the scope stated. GST is a separate line as it applies to your job, and any extra work is shown once with its amount.
Why does the vehicle plan matter if the move is only a few kilometres?
The usable approach can differ from the map distance. The route may cross a rail line or pass under a bridge, and the last stretch to a gate may limit the vehicle's height or width. We ask about the approach, turns, entrance, any posted height and the stopping point at both ends before choosing the vehicle. Where a height is unclear, we plan a site check or a different approach rather than guess.
Do you move offices and shops in Malkajgiri?
Yes. As a Hyderabad local office guide, some office goods run from about ₹4,500 to about ₹9,500, and a complete office from about ₹6,000 to about ₹19,000. These are not intercity or per-employee rates. Servers, safes and industrial equipment are explicitly assessed first, and IT disconnection and reconnection are handled by a qualified person agreed in advance.
Can I move only a few items, and what is a shared load?
Yes. A few items such as a bed, a refrigerator, a sofa and some cartons are quoted from the item list, the vehicle that suits it, the distance within Hyderabad, the floors and the carry at both ends. There is no fixed tariff for a small load. A part load is a portion of shared capacity and not a separate mode, and a whole home can also travel shared when dates and capacity fit.
Can you move a heavy steel almirah or old wooden furniture?
Often yes, after measuring. We compare the fully packed piece, and its largest separated panel if it comes apart, with the door openings, lift cabin and stair turns at both addresses. A smaller truck does not fix a stair the piece cannot turn on. The options are dismantling where the design permits, carrying by stairs, the lift or assessed specialist handling. Balcony or hoist routes are considered only when qualified, lawful and permitted.
Do you dismantle furniture and handle appliances?
Beds, wardrobes, tables and shelving built to come apart can be dismantled and reassembled, and the quote lists which items. Panels are labelled and fittings bagged. Appliance preparation and restart follow each model's manual, and a washing machine with transit bolts must have them correctly fitted for transport and removed before use. Air conditioners need a qualified technician, and plumbing, electrical, carpentry and IT work are separate scopes.
What should I send to get an accurate quote?
Send the pickup and delivery addresses, your preferred date, the home size or item list, floor and lift details, and photos of the larger items. The most useful addition is the access log for both addresses, with measurements, the photo date, who confirmed them and which lines are still guesses. An address with an unmeasured heavy item or an unclear height is marked for a site survey.
How long does a move take, locally and between cities?
A local move inside Hyderabad is normally planned for one working day, and a large inventory, full packing or heavy items can take longer. For a 2 BHK on the corridors above, a dedicated vehicle is about 2–3 days to Pune and 2–4 days to Visakhapatnam, while shared is 4–6 and 5–7 days. These are counted after dispatch, and packing and shared consolidation come before it. To Vijayawada, dedicated is same day or next day, provisional, and the shared calendar is confirmed before booking.
Is my move covered in transit, and what documents will I get?
Cover is not assumed. Ask whether it is offered, who provides it, what value it applies to and what is excluded, and get the terms in writing. You should expect a written quote, a booking confirmation, a loading list, a GST invoice for the services as applicable, and a condition record for vehicles. Any claim goes under your actual booking and cover and their written conditions.
Can you hold my goods if the new home is not ready?
If the arrival plan fails after loading, the options are a later accepted slot or a confirmed holding. A confirmed holding names the operator, the location, who has custody, item IDs and counts, the actual condition and access, the duration, the rate, the exit terms and redelivery. It is not assumed to be included, and we do not promise our own warehouse or any free days. Any transfer must be assessed, lawful and feasible, with its cost stated once.
Can you move my bike or car from Malkajgiri to another city?
Yes, on a route and model basis. On the Hyderabad to Vijayawada route, a scooter up to 150cc is about ₹4,000–₹5,000, a heavier bike above 150cc about ₹5,000–₹6,000 and a hatchback on an open carrier about ₹8,500–₹10,500. An enclosed carrier is quoted separately and is not included automatically. The exact model, route and carrier type can change the quote.
Do you take enquiries from Safilguda, Neredmet and Moula Ali too?
Yes. Send each full address with the actual goods entrance, inventory, floors and date so handling and availability can be assessed. Include the relevant colony such as Anandbagh or Mirjalguda where it appears on your address; nearby names do not imply one common gate, route or property rule.
What will Malkajgiri to Gachibowli or Kukatpally shifting cost?
Local household starting guides are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. A cross-city quote uses the actual inventory, road route, packing, floors and receiving access. Send both addresses rather than treating the starting guide as a fixed rate for every destination.
Can I request an urgent, Sunday or holiday move?
Ask about availability for your actual load and date, then confirm moving hours, access and any lift reservation at both properties. A morning, Sunday or next-day enquiry is booked only after the appointment is agreed. Obtain the applicable rescheduling and cancellation terms before paying.
Will packing materials be included?
The written scope lists packing labour and materials for the level you choose. Identify the cartons, cushioning, furniture protection and any assessed crating needed for your items. If you pack some cartons yourself, confirm acceptance and cover for those contents before loading; an advance carton drop is arranged only if specifically agreed.
How should I compare the best movers for my Malkajgiri home?
Supply the same inventory and both-address access details, then compare the full payable amount, packing, furniture work, vehicle or trips, arrival window and cover terms. Check the exact business name, GST details, address and named contact. A low phone estimate without this scope is difficult to compare fairly.
