Packers and Movers in Hyderabad for Home, Office and Vehicle Shifting

Shifting house in Hyderabad often means fitting two buildings’ timings into one moving day: the old society’s service lift, the owner’s handover date and the new flat’s permitted entry hours. Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) handles household, office and vehicle moves within Hyderabad and Secunderabad and from Hyderabad to other cities.

Local household guides start from ₹5,500 for 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for 3 BHK for compact, easy-access moves. Your inventory, packing, floors, lifts and vehicle approach decide the written quote. ALPM is based in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad; the booking names the work, moving window and shipment contact. Below are the charges, locality guides and practical checks to plan both ends of the move.

Local House Shifting Charges in Hyderabad

For a move that starts and ends inside Hyderabad or Secunderabad, these are ALPM’s indicative starting points for household shifting. They show where a compact, easy-access move begins. They are not a flat price for every home of that size.

Indicative local starting guide for household shifting within Hyderabad
Home sizeStarts fromWhat usually moves the figure up
1 BHK₹5,500A full set of furniture and appliances, upper floors without a lift, a long carry from the door to the vehicle
2 BHK₹8,500Several wardrobes, a large sofa or dining set, glass and fragile items, a high carton count
3 BHK₹12,500A larger inventory, furniture that has to be dismantled, a bigger vehicle or a second trip, limited parking near the building

The written quote is set after ALPM assesses your inventory, the floors and lift access at both addresses, how close the vehicle can stand to each building, and the services you choose.

Why home size is only a starting point

Two 2 BHK flats can be very different jobs. One may hold a bed, a refrigerator, a washing machine and a handful of cartons. Another may hold storage beds, several wardrobes, a dining set, a full kitchen and a large number of cartons. The BHK label describes the flat, not what is being moved, so the quote is built from the inventory and the access.

1 RK, a few items, 4 BHK and villas

A single room, a handful of pieces, a 4 BHK home, a villa or a local office move does not sit on a fixed tariff. Each is quoted from the actual list. Send the list of what is moving, or photos or a short video of each room, along with both addresses, and the vehicle size, crew and packing are worked out from that list rather than from a guessed tonnage.

What else changes a Hyderabad quote

  • The distance between the two addresses
  • How much packing the crew does, compared with cartons you have packed yourself
  • Dismantling and reassembly of beds, wardrobes and dining tables
  • Floors without a lift and long carries from the door to the vehicle
  • Vehicle size and how close it can stand to each building
  • Optional services such as holding goods between moves, technician work or vehicle transport

What a Hyderabad Moving Quote Includes

The base of a household quote covers packing labour and materials, loading, road transport, unloading, and the dismantling and reassembly of furniture agreed for your move. Each item is stated once in the quote and is not charged a second time under another name. GST appears as its own line, with the treatment that applies to your booking. Other assessed work, such as an unusual carry or technician work, is shown as included, as an extra amount, or as not applicable. Stairs and fragile items are not added as automatic fees: where they affect the work, they are assessed and written down.

Unpacking and placement should be agreed in extent, for example which rooms, which cartons and whether furniture is placed or only set down.

Quote lines and what to ask about them
Quote lineWhat it coversWhat to ask
Packing labour and materialsCartons, wrap and protection for furniture, glass and appliancesWhich rooms and items the crew packs, and whether materials match what you are moving
Loading and unloadingCarrying goods to the vehicle and into the new homeWhether your floors, lifts and carry distance at both ends are noted
Road transportThe vehicle for the load and the distanceWhy that vehicle size was chosen and whether any approach needs a different one
Furniture workDismantling and reassembly of agreed beds, wardrobes and tablesWhich pieces are listed and at which end
Other assessed workUnusual access or handling that applies to your moveWhether it is shown as included, as an extra amount, or as not applicable
Technician workTaking down and refixing an air conditioner, geyser or similar fittingWhether it is a separate line and who carries it out
Holding between movesKeeping goods between leaving one place and entering the next, where confirmedWho holds the goods, where, for how long, at what rate and how they are released
Insurance assistanceHelp arranging transit cover if you want itThe declared value and the written terms
GST and other chargesShown as the quote states themWhere each appears, instead of assuming it sits inside the total

Comparing two quotes fairly

  1. Give each mover the same inventory list and the same floor and lift details.
  2. Ask what is included line by line: packing materials, dismantling, reassembly and unpacking.
  3. Ask how the vehicle size was decided and whether any approach needs a smaller vehicle.
  4. Ask what happens if the load turns out larger or smaller than the list.
  5. Check whether technician work, holding between moves or vehicle transport appear as separate lines or are missing.

The cheapest-looking quote is not always the cheapest move if it leaves out work you then have to arrange or pay for separately.

Why ask ALPM for the same written scope?

The Old Bowenpally base, inventory-based quotation and matching loading-and-delivery records give you specific things to check. Ask for the booking business name, contact, payment acknowledgement and applicable invoice. Compare those alongside the packing and unloading you need, rather than choosing from an unexplained phone total. Transit cover, if requested, should identify the issuer, declared value and actual policy terms.

Household, Part-Load, Storage and Vehicle Services

Each service can be taken whole or in parts, so you pay for the work you need done. Start from your situation and then ask for the matching scope.

Which service level fits which situation
Your situationService level to ask forWhy it fits
A whole flat, a family, limited timePacking, loading, transport, unloading and unpackingThe crew handles the whole sequence and your time goes to the handover at both ends
Cartons already packed, mostly furniture to moveLoading, transport, unloading and dismantlingYou pay for the work still needed, not for packing that is already done
A few pieces such as a sofa, a bed and a refrigeratorPart load, assessed from the item listThe vehicle and crew follow the items, not the size of the flat
You will pack or carry some of the work yourselfTransport-only scope, with the quote stating who does which workIt is a scope of work, not a separate vehicle mode
The new home is not ready yetHolding between moves, where confirmedGoods are held and delivered when the new place is ready
Only a bike or a car is movingVehicle transport on its ownIt runs on its own schedule and is priced by destination and model

House shifting

Packing, loading, transport, unloading and unpacking for flats, independent houses and villas. Choose the whole sequence or only the parts you need. Packing, loading and unloading can be booked together or separately, so you might pack books and clothes yourself and leave furniture, glass and appliances to the crew.

Few-item and part-load moves

When only some pieces are moving, such as a single room, a student move, or a family sending a few things ahead of the main move, the vehicle and crew are planned from the item list. A few-item move within the city is not automatically combined with other loads. The quote states the vehicle used and who does which part of the work.

If goods must be held between two moves

Holding is not automatic, and no free period is assumed. Where it is confirmed, the written terms state the operator and location, the item IDs and count, the actual condition and access arrangements, the duration and rate, how goods can be released and how they are redelivered.

Technician and fitting work

Taking down and refixing an air conditioner, geyser or similar fitting is separate work from moving. Qualified technicians handle it and it is listed in the quote.

Car and bike transport

Vehicles are carried separately from household goods and are priced by destination and model. The vehicle section below gives indicative guides for two routes.

Two-Building Move-Day Worksheet: Do Both Windows Fit?

The pickup building may offer its service lift in the morning while the new building allows move-ins later. A short drive does not fix that gap. Before choosing the date, put both buildings’ permissions and carrying hours beside the packing, driving and unloading plan in this worksheet.

Move-day worksheet: check each step against the next
StepWhat to find outWho confirms itIf it does not fit
1. Pickup permission and lift windowWhether a gate pass or crew details are needed, whether a service lift must be booked, and the hours goods may be carriedThe association or security office at the pickup buildingAsk for a longer or different slot; if only part can move, agree the remaining inventory, later work and price before booking
2. Packing and loading timePacking time inside the home, then the time needed for lift or stair carrying and loading; these may use different permission windowsALPM, estimated from your list or photos and the access detailsPack cartons earlier where the building allows, or ask for a second slot
3. Road legThe route and travel time between the two exact addresses on the planned dayALPM, from the current routeAdjust departure or the receiving slot, allowing for the road leg and a reasonable margin
4. Delivery permission and unloading slotGate rules, lift booking, unloading and placement duration, and the deadline by which all carrying must finishThe association, security office or owner at the delivery addressAsk for another slot at the delivery end, or agree a confirmed holding arrangement before loading
5. Entrance and lift fitWhether the largest pieces, packed and in separated panels, fit both ends (see the fit section below)You and ALPM togetherDismantle, change the plan or leave the piece out before loading

Work backwards from the receiving deadline

First confirm when goods may enter the destination and when unloading, carrying and placement must be finished. Ask ALPM to estimate that work from the inventory, floor, lift and carrying distance. Work backwards to a feasible arrival, then allow for the road leg, loading and the permitted pickup carrying slot. Packing inside the flat may be possible earlier than lift use; confirm that separately with the building.

The plan must fit the complete unloading job inside the agreed unloading window, not merely bring the truck to the gate before closing. If the estimated finish falls outside it, change a slot or the start time, or agree a staged move with the remaining work and cost agreed or confirmed holding before loading. An early arrival also needs an accepted, permitted waiting arrangement rather than an assumption that the vehicle can wait at the gate.

ALPM does not publish one standard number of hours for a Hyderabad move. How long it takes depends on the inventory, the access at both buildings and the route on the day, and ALPM estimates it from your actual list and the current route.

If goods have already been loaded and the delivery slot is missed, the options are a later slot accepted by the receiving side or a confirmed storage or holding plan. Goods are not left behind or excluded after loading.

Two Hypothetical Hyderabad Moves Worked Through the Worksheet

The two examples below are illustrations of how to use the worksheet. They are not records of past jobs or quotes, and buildings in the same area can have different rules.

Same locality, short drive, mismatched lift slots

A family is moving a 2 BHK between two apartment buildings in the same locality. The drive is a few minutes. The pickup building offers its service lift in the morning, and the delivery building has its service lift booked in the late afternoon. The short drive is not the problem; the gap between the slots is. If loading finishes around midday, the vehicle arrives hours before the delivery slot opens and has nowhere to unload.

The worksheet shows this before booking. The family can ask the delivery building for an earlier slot, ask the pickup building to move to a later one, or agree a confirmed storage or holding plan before loading, with the operator, location, custody and item count written down. Looking at the two windows beside each other turns a problem that would have appeared at the gate into a decision made earlier.

West to Secunderabad, a lift window at one end and an entrance at the other

Now take a move from a tower in a western apartment community to an independent house in Secunderabad. At the pickup end, the constraint is the lift window: goods must be carried within the allowed hours, through the gate the community permits. At the delivery end, the constraint is the entrance. The lane may not allow the planned vehicle to reach the gate, and a wardrobe that left the tower whole may not pass the house door. The road between the two addresses is long enough that it affects when loading should start.

The plan describes each end separately. If the planned vehicle cannot reach the house, a transfer to a smaller vehicle for the last stretch is considered only where it is assessed as permitted and workable. The quote then states the operator, location, crew, carrying, unloading, reloading and the local leg cost once, and the item IDs, count, condition and change of custody are recorded. A transfer adds handling; record whether custody changes and who is responsible at each handover. For the wardrobe, the width, height and depth of the fully packed piece and of the separated panels are checked against the door at the house before loading starts.

Addresses, Gates and Access: What to Describe for Each End

Hyderabad moves cover different settings, from western apartment communities to Secunderabad colonies and older city properties around the Musi. Gachibowli, Uppal or Mehdipatnam on an address does not establish the type of building or the access. The area name does not tell the dispatcher what the access is. The gate, the lane and the path to the door do, so describe each end separately.

Hyderabad and Secunderabad addresses

Hyderabad and Secunderabad are twin cities, and an address near the boundary is often described as one while the building sits closer to the other. A postal line that says Secunderabad does not tell a driver which side to head for. For Secunderabad house shifting, or any move near the boundary, give a landmark, the gate or entrance and a map pin, not only the area name.

What to describe, by kind of address
Kind of addressWhat to describeWhat it changes in the plan
Gated community with several blocks or towersThe block or tower, the gate goods may use, whether a gate pass is needed and whether the service lift must be bookedStart time, the carry between the gate and the building, and the vehicle size
Independent house in a colonyThe lane, a landmark, which side of the main road it is on and whether the vehicle can reach the gateVehicle size and whether any part of the carry is on foot
Older multi-storey building or narrow approachHow close a vehicle can stop, the width and turns of the staircase and any piece too big to carry downVehicle choice, dismantling and crew size
Workshop or small industrial unitThe loading access, the opening hours and what has to be released or cleared firstCrew timing and the order in which items leave

Lift, parking and timing

  • Is there a service lift, or only a passenger lift, and does it need to be booked?
  • Does the community ask for a gate pass or crew details in advance?
  • What hours does the association allow for carrying goods, and on which days?
  • Can the vehicle stand at the door, or how far is the carry from the door to where it must wait?

Communities set their own rules, so ask the association or security office and pass on the window you are given. The plan for the day is built around it.

Hyderabad and Secunderabad Area Guides for Your Move

Use the guide for the area you are moving from or to, then send the details of the actual property. Locality names help identify the city leg; they do not establish that every building has a lift, a wide gate or the same moving hours.

Western Hyderabad and the IT corridor

For Kondapur, Hitech City, Madhapur, Manikonda, Nanakramguda, Kokapet or Tellapur, identify the tower and the gate goods may use. If there is a service lift, confirm its opening, cabin size and reserved slot. A new flat also needs a usable approach and functioning utilities before delivery; possession of keys alone does not settle those points.

Kukatpally, Miyapur and the north-western side

For Kukatpally, Miyapur, Chandanagar, Nizampet or Bachupally, share the exact colony and lane, not only a main-road junction. Check how close the assessed vehicle can stand and include any carry or collection transfer in the estimate. An independent house and a tower in the same locality can need very different handling.

Central Hyderabad and single-room moves

For Ameerpet, Begumpet, SR Nagar, Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills, start with the full item list. A PG room may have only book cartons and a bed, while a larger home may include artwork, glass and bulky furniture. Price the goods and protection needed rather than assuming the address or bedroom count describes the load.

Secunderabad and the northern colonies

For Bowenpally, Alwal, Kompally, Malkajgiri or Sainikpuri, add the exact entrance and receiving contact. If the property is on a controlled-entry road or within staff quarters, ask the responsible office about current goods-vehicle entry. Do not treat an entire locality as restricted or assume one gate permission applies to another property.

East and south-east Hyderabad

For Amberpet, Uppal, Habsiguda, Nagole, LB Nagar or Dilsukhnagar, mark the side of the main road and the actual goods entrance. If the doorway, lane or stair turn is tight, send a short approach video and packed-piece measurements before vehicle selection. A smaller vehicle addresses road access, not a sofa that cannot turn on the stairs.

Attapur, Mehdipatnam and the southern side

For Rajendranagar, Shamshabad or a property around the Old City, give the same gate, floor, lift and standing-point details as any other address. Check current building and road access for the chosen vehicle instead of assuming all lanes need hand-carry or all airport-side properties allow a large truck. The existing Attapur and Secunderabad links in the access guide can help with those specific enquiries.

Furniture, Doors and Lifts: Fit Checks at Both Ends

A piece that came out of the old building may still not go into the new one. This is much better found out before moving day than at the new door.

What to measure

Measure the width, height and depth of the longest and bulkiest items, such as the wardrobe, bed frame, sofa, dining table and refrigerator. Check two forms of each piece: the fully packed piece and, where it can be taken apart, its separated panels. Compare both with the door openings, the lift cabin width, height and depth, and the stair turns and landings at both ends. A smaller vehicle does not solve a stair or door that is too narrow, since the piece still has to be carried through it.

Dismantling and labelling

Where the design permits, wardrobes, beds and tables are dismantled, with panels protected and labelled and fittings kept in a bag, without adhesive on finished surfaces. Tell ALPM which pieces are tight so that dismantling and reassembly are part of the plan. Where a piece needs a qualified carpenter, that is separate work and is listed in the quote.

Before loading and after loading

If a piece will not fit, the options before loading are a suitable permitted alternative with qualified help, a new slot, or leaving that piece out of the move. After the piece has been loaded, the options are a later agreed unloading time or a confirmed storage or holding plan. It is not abandoned and not excluded at that point.

Packing, Materials and Appliance Preparation

Protection in a move comes from how each item is packed, and from matching the protection to the item. Packing materials are included in the base of a household quote, matched to what you are moving.

Fragile and delicate items

Glass, mirrors, framed pieces and ceramics need cushioning to absorb shock and rigid protection around them. Where an item calls for it, a crate is assessed and written into the quote. Wrap that covers a surface finish protects against scratches, but it is not protection against impact, so it is not enough for a fragile item on its own.

Cartons you pack yourself

If you pack some cartons yourself, ask the crew to inspect them and tell you whether they are accepted for the move. Ask how those cartons will be handled and whether any transit cover applies to contents the crew did not pack. For books and other dense contents, use sturdy cartons of manageable weight and agree safe handling with the crew.

Appliances

Refrigerators, washing machines and similar appliances need preparation before the move and again at restart. Follow the model’s manual for both. For a washing machine whose model requires transit bolts, they must be fitted correctly for transport and removed before the machine is used. Air conditioner gas work, electrical connections, plumbing, carpentry and IT cabling are carried out by qualified people as separate scope, listed in the quote.

Start with a count you can follow at delivery

Cartons, wrapped belongings and plastic chairs grouped inside a storage area.
Cartons, wrapped belongings and plastic chairs grouped inside a storage area.

A moving list has to cover more than boxes. This photo includes cartons, wrapped pieces and loose chairs in the same space. Giving each type of item a place on the list helps avoid a last-minute count from memory.

For your Hyderabad move, number sealed cartons and record loose furniture separately. Tell the team which belongings travel together, which stay behind and which you will carry yourself. If storage forms part of the booking, ask how your packages will be identified and checked when they leave storage.

Keep the agreed inventory on your phone and share it with the receiving person. Count against that same record before loading and at delivery, noting any differences while the team is present.

Choosing Moving Dates and Handing Over a Rented Flat

Plan a fixed date around the work it needs

If your family has chosen a muhurtham or griha-pravesam date, explain which part is fixed: taking the keys, entering the home, receiving the furniture or completing the entire move. Those may need different timings. Ask about availability once the date is known, and confirm the building’s permission before paying for a plan based on it. There is no universal advance-booking deadline or guaranteed cheaper month.

For month-end, weekends, school changes or a fixed office restart, compare available dates if you can. Ask whether another permitted slot changes the cost or vehicle choice. Plan the road leg from the two exact addresses and current conditions. In rain, keep packing dry and arrange a covered carrying path; outer film cannot dry wet cartons or upholstery. Check current access notices if water or road conditions affect either entrance.

A rented-flat handover checklist

  1. Tell the landlord and association the proposed vacating date and ask about move-out clearance or a gate pass.
  2. Agree keys, possession and move-in permission at the new home before loading.
  3. Record meter readings and the condition of walls and fittings; retain the agreed handover and dues records for your deposit discussion.
  4. Ask broadband, DTH and LPG providers about changing the service address. Keep cylinders out of the household load.
  5. Separate documents, valuables, medicines, chargers and a first-night bag to travel with you.
  6. Check power, water and any technician appointments needed before appliances are reconnected.
  7. After settling in, update the addresses for the services and deliveries you use.

If the new flat will not be ready, agree the delivery date or a confirmed holding option before dispatch. Record the location, responsibility, inventory, access, duration, rate and redelivery rather than assuming overnight storage is automatically included.

How a Move With ALPM Runs, From Quote to Handover

Why choose ALPM for your Hyderabad move

ALPM is based at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. The booking starts with your inventory and both addresses, followed by a written scope, agreed moving windows and an item record used at handover. Compare that plan with the work you need: full packing, selected-item handling, an office asset move or a separately scheduled vehicle. Use the quote form above to share the two addresses, floors, preferred date and item list.

  1. Share both full addresses, the floors and lift access at each, the date you are aiming for and the inventory, as a list or as photos or a short video of each room.
  2. Receive a written quote that states the scope: what is packed, what is dismantled, which vehicle is planned and which optional services are included.
  3. Fix the date and plan the access with the two-building worksheet: gate pass, lift booking, where the vehicle will stand and the hours each community allows.
  4. On the day, the crew packs and loads, noting the condition of furniture and appliances as items go onto the vehicle.
  5. The vehicle travels to the new address, and you are kept informed about the vehicle and the move.
  6. Goods are unloaded and placed at the new address, with beds and wardrobes reassembled where that was agreed.
  7. Unpacking is done to the extent booked, and the handover check is made against the condition notes before you sign off.

Before dispatch

  • Someone with keys and the authority to receive goods is at the delivery address.
  • Any permission the property requires is in place and a clear, safe path to the door is confirmed.
  • The delivery slot has been accepted, and the arrival time is rechecked if anything changes during the day.

Unloading and the first room

Having one room ready first is useful, and it is done only when the safe loading and unloading sequence allows it. All the goods are safely unloaded and placed within the agreed unloading time first, and unpacking follows later, so goods are not left on the vehicle while a single room is being set up.

Condition check and damage

Count delivered items against the inventory and inspect their actual condition promptly, with appropriate help for fragile or heavy pieces. If something is damaged, point it out while the team is present, with photos showing the item and its matching label, and follow it up in writing under the claim terms of your booking.

Payment, date changes and special requests

Before paying a booking amount, confirm what it secures, when the balance is due and how payment is acknowledged. Ask for cancellation, rescheduling and inventory-change terms. Declare pets, plants, liquids or other unusual items separately and confirm acceptance and suitable arrangements before adding them to a household booking.

Insurance assistance and written terms

ALPM offers insurance assistance for goods in transit. If you want cover, the declared value and the terms are agreed and written down for your move, and what a policy pays depends on its own written terms. Scope, services, any holding arrangement and any insurance arrangement belong in writing alongside the quote.

Office Relocation in Hyderabad

A home move is planned around rooms. An office move is planned around assets and the time the office can be closed or reduced. For a move within Hyderabad, ALPM assesses the job from the asset list, the downtime you can accept and the access at both buildings, including lifts, parking and building rules. There is no standard tariff for a local office move, because two offices of similar floor area can hold very different amounts of equipment.

What the asset list should cover

  • Desks, chairs, cabinets and storage units, with an asset ID and count for each type
  • The condition of each item and its packed size
  • IT equipment, cabling and anything that needs special handling
  • Files and records, and what must travel together
  • Items that will not be reused and can be left behind

Label assets by ID against a plan of the new floor. Labels should carry the asset ID and destination, and should not carry passwords or describe file contents.

Release, receipt and IT restart

At the old office, an authorised person releases assets in a planned order. At the new office, a named person receives them against the same list. IT backup, disconnection, reconnection, testing and restart are carried out by qualified people on terms agreed in advance, and no zero-downtime restart is assumed. Servers, safes and industrial equipment are assessed explicitly. Personal items, files and laptops are the owner’s choice to carry or send, while business assets follow the office’s own authority.

Moving an office out of Hyderabad

The guide below is for an office moving from Hyderabad to another city, by distance band. It is an intercity distance guide, not a price for moving an office within Hyderabad, and not a fixed price for any route.

Indicative intercity distance guide for an office moving from Hyderabad
Distance from HyderabadSmall officeMedium office
Up to 400 km₹21,000–₹29,500₹30,500–₹44,500
500 to 900 km₹24,500–₹31,500₹27,500–₹63,500
1,000 to 1,500 km₹26,500–₹43,500₹35,500–₹62,500

Small and medium are broad inventory bands that are confirmed once the asset list is reviewed, and the vehicle mode and scope are assessed with it. Larger offices are quoted after assessment. The width of some bands, especially the medium office at 500 to 900 km, shows how much the final figure depends on what is actually moving.

Moving From Hyderabad to Other Cities, and Car and Bike Transport

Shared load or dedicated vehicle

For a move out of the city, the first choice is between a shared load and a dedicated vehicle. A shared load uses shared capacity on the route. It can carry a whole home when capacity and dates fit, and a part load is a portion of that shared capacity, not a third mode. Consolidation means matching capacity and dates, and it does not mean waiting for a truck to be completely full. A dedicated vehicle is booked for your consignment, allowing dispatch to be planned around your loading. Agree availability, loading and delivery windows before booking, then update the arrival estimate after departure.

Indicative 2 BHK household guide from Hyderabad, by vehicle mode
Route and approximate road distanceShared loadDedicated vehicleSchedule after dispatch
Hyderabad to Vijayawada, about 280 km₹16,000–₹25,000₹23,500–₹33,000Dedicated: same or next day, only if the scheduling fits. Shared: confirm the actual calendar at quotation.
Hyderabad to Pune, about 565 km₹19,500–₹29,500₹28,000–₹39,000Planning estimate: dedicated 2–3 days, shared 4–6 days after dispatch
Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam, about 580 km₹20,000–₹30,500₹28,500–₹40,000Planning estimate: dedicated 2–4 days, shared 5–7 days after dispatch

Day counts start from dispatch. Time spent before dispatch, such as matching a shared load, is separate and is confirmed with the quote. Exact addresses and the vehicle used affect the road distance, so the quote for your move follows your two addresses and your inventory. A local move and an intercity load run on different schedules, and a day count from one cannot be read across to the other.

Car and bike transport from Hyderabad

Vehicle transport is priced by destination, model and carrier, so one bike figure or one car figure cannot be applied to every route. The guide below covers two routes from Hyderabad.

Indicative vehicle transport guide from Hyderabad, by destination and vehicle
VehicleTo VijayawadaTo Visakhapatnam
Scooter or bike up to 150 cc₹4,000–₹5,000₹5,000–₹6,000
Heavier bike above 150 cc₹5,000–₹6,000₹6,000–₹7,500
Hatchback, open carrier₹8,500–₹10,500₹10,500–₹13,000
Sedan or SUV₹10,500–₹13,000₹13,000–₹16,000

The exact model, carrier availability and handover dates are confirmed for each vehicle booking. For a sedan or SUV, whether the vehicle travels in an open or an enclosed carrier is assessed and confirmed with the booking. Premium, electric or non-running vehicles, and any other destination, are quoted for that vehicle and route.

Collection, handover and your own belongings

A vehicle runs on its own calendar, separate from the household load, so plan for it to arrive on a different day from your home goods. The collection and delivery points are agreed in advance, along with who loads and unloads and what that costs. At collection, photograph all sides of the vehicle and note the odometer reading, keys and any accessories. Fuel and battery preparation follow the maker’s and the carrier’s instructions, and there is no single rule for every vehicle. Keep documents, cash, jewellery and medicines with you. Ask which items the carrier declines and what vehicle papers the carrier needs. Heavy goods should not be left inside the vehicle.

ALPM’s indicative local starting points are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. They show where a compact, easy-access move begins. The written quote follows your inventory, the floors and lift access at both addresses, vehicle access and the services you choose.
Why do two 2 BHK homes in Hyderabad get different quotes?
The BHK label describes the flat, not what is being moved. One 2 BHK may hold a bed, a refrigerator and a few cartons, while another holds several wardrobes, a dining set, a full kitchen and many cartons. Floors without a lift, the carry to the vehicle, dismantling work and the vehicle size also change the quote.
Do you quote for 1 RK, 4 BHK, villas or only a few items?
Yes. These are assessed from the actual inventory and are not on a fixed tariff. Send a list or photos or a short video of each room, with both addresses, and the vehicle, crew and packing are planned from that.
How should I give my address when moving between Hyderabad and Secunderabad?
Give the full address with a landmark, the gate or tower entrance and a map pin. An address near the boundary of the twin cities can be described as either, so the area name alone does not tell the driver where to go. For a colony house, mention the lane and which side of the main road it is on.
What should I check with my apartment community before moving day?
Ask whether there is a service lift and whether it must be booked, whether a gate pass or crew details are needed, which gate goods may use, the hours and days goods can be carried, and how far the vehicle must stand from the door. Pass the window you are given to ALPM so the plan is built around it.
What if the pickup and delivery buildings have different lift or gate timings?
Compare both buildings’ carrying permissions, packing and loading time, road travel and the full unloading and placement duration. Work backwards from the destination deadline. If all the work cannot fit, adjust a slot or start time, or agree a properly scoped staged move or confirmed holding before loading. Early arrival also needs a permitted waiting arrangement.
What if a wardrobe or sofa will not fit through the door or the lift?
Measure the width, height and depth of the packed piece and of its separated panels against the door, lift cabin and stair turns at both addresses, and tell ALPM about any tight pieces. Where the design allows, the piece is dismantled and reassembled. A smaller vehicle does not solve a narrow door or stair. If the piece still will not fit, the options before loading are a feasible, lawful alternative, a new slot, or leaving it out.
How much does it cost to move a 2 BHK from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, Pune or Visakhapatnam?
Indicative 2 BHK guides are as follows. Vijayawada, about 280 km: shared ₹16,000–₹25,000, dedicated ₹23,500–₹33,000. Pune, about 565 km: shared ₹19,500–₹29,500, dedicated ₹28,000–₹39,000. Visakhapatnam, about 580 km: shared ₹20,000–₹30,500, dedicated ₹28,500–₹40,000. The quote for your move follows your two addresses and your inventory.
How long does a shared or dedicated load take from Hyderabad?
As planning estimates after dispatch, Pune takes about 2 to 3 days dedicated and 4 to 6 days shared, and Visakhapatnam about 2 to 4 days dedicated and 5 to 7 days shared. For Vijayawada, a dedicated vehicle can be same or next day only if the scheduling fits, and shared timing is confirmed against the actual calendar. Any wait before a shared load dispatches is separate from these day counts.
Can you move my car or bike from Hyderabad, and what does it cost?
Yes. Indicative guides to Vijayawada are ₹4,000–₹5,000 for a scooter or bike up to 150 cc, ₹5,000–₹6,000 for a heavier bike, ₹8,500–₹10,500 for a hatchback on an open carrier and ₹10,500–₹13,000 for a sedan or SUV. To Visakhapatnam they are ₹5,000–₹6,000, ₹6,000–₹7,500, ₹10,500–₹13,000 and ₹13,000–₹16,000. Other destinations, premium, electric and non-running vehicles are quoted individually, and the exact model and carrier availability are confirmed with the booking.
How is an office move in Hyderabad priced?
A local office move has no standard tariff. It is assessed from the asset list, the downtime you can accept and the access at both buildings. For an office moving out of Hyderabad, an indicative distance guide is published above, by small and medium inventory bands, and it is confirmed once the asset list is reviewed.
What happens if something is damaged during the move?
Condition is noted as items are loaded and checked against those notes at delivery. If something is damaged, point it out while the team is present, take photos and follow it up in writing under the claim terms of your booking. If you arranged insurance assistance, the declared value and written terms for your move apply.
Which Hyderabad and Secunderabad areas can I enquire about?
Share the two actual properties for an assessment. Area guides on this page cover western, central, northern, eastern and southern Hyderabad enquiries, including Kondapur, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Ameerpet, Alwal and Amberpet. Confirm availability, vehicle access and moving hours for the specific buildings.
How early should I book for a muhurtham, weekend or fixed handover?
Enquire once the date, inventory and receiving home are known. Explain which part of the date is fixed and confirm both buildings’ permissions. Ask about actual availability and alternatives rather than relying on a universal booking lead time or assumed weekday discount.
Is packing material part of the local moving price?
The agreed household scope includes packing labour and materials listed in the estimate. Protection should match your items; special crates and other assessed work should be identified as included or priced separately. If you pack cartons yourself, confirm acceptance, handling and cover before booking.
Can ALPM provide documents for employer reimbursement?
Give the employer’s billing name and document requirements before booking. Request the approved quotation, inventory, applicable invoice and payment acknowledgement. Acceptance follows your employer’s rules, so confirm its requirements rather than assuming every invoice format qualifies.
