Packers and Movers in KPHB Colony, Hyderabad

Shifting within KPHB Colony can be a short road trip with plenty of carrying at either end. The phase, plot or block, floor and usable goods entrance help decide the vehicle and crew plan. A wardrobe that fits the old staircase still needs checking against the new lift or stair turn.

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) handles household, PG and hostel-room, shop and office moving enquiries in KPHB Colony, Kukatpally, along with intercity and vehicle transport. Local house shifting starts from ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. Send both addresses and a room-by-room list or video to +91 94671 86002 for an estimate based on the load, packing and access.

KPHB Colony local shifting charges

Local moves in KPHB Colony start from ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. These are starting points for a flat move within Hyderabad, not a fixed tariff. The written quote replaces them with a figure built from your inventory, the floors involved, the lift and the carry between your door and the place where the vehicle can actually stop.

ALPM local starting charges for KPHB Colony
Home sizeLocal starting chargeWhat the quote is built from
1 BHKFrom ₹5,500Beds or wardrobes that must be dismantled, the floor and lift, the length of the carry
2 BHKFrom ₹8,500Large items in two rooms, refrigerator and washing machine, kitchen volume, whether the vehicle reaches the entrance
3 BHKFrom ₹12,500Several large wardrobes and beds, sofa and dining set, vehicle stopping point
Few items, 1 RK, 4+ BHK, villaQuoted from your actual inventoryNo standard starting figure; a room-by-room list with the large items marked is what the quote needs

What the base figure covers

In a full-service quote the base figure covers packing labour and materials at the agreed level, loading, road transport, unloading, and any furniture dismantling and reassembly agreed in the quote. If you pack some cartons yourself or want transport only, the quote says which of those lines are removed.

Other assessed work, such as appliance uninstallation, a long hand-carry or a crate for a delicate piece, appears once in the quote as included, as an exact extra amount, or as not applicable. Nothing is charged twice, and stairs or fragile items are assessed as part of the actual work, with any agreed extra shown once. Unpacking and placement at the new flat are agreed separately, because the extent can range from setting cartons in rooms to unpacking and arranging. GST is shown on its own line with the treatment that actually applies to your booking, so ask whether any figure you are comparing is before or after GST.

Why two quotes for the same BHK can differ

A BHK label describes a flat, not a load. One quote may include full packing while another assumes cartons you pack yourself, and the totals can look far apart for different work. Compare packing level, labour, vehicle and access assumptions line by line, using the checklist later on this page.

A short list for a useful first estimate

Along with both phase and entrance details, send the beds, wardrobes, sofa, appliances, carton estimate and any large or delicate pieces. Say whether you want full packing, fragile-only packing or handling of your prepared cartons. Include the preferred date, floor and lift at both ends. If the pictures leave something unclear, a further video or assessment can settle it before the price is confirmed.

KPHB Colony Address: Match the Phase, Plot and Goods Entrance

Addresses in KPHB Colony are written in several ways: by phase and plot number, by a HIG, MIG or LIG house number, by block, or by apartment building name and flat number. A number on its own is a weak description. The phase together with the plot or block number is more precise, and a map pin at the goods entrance is more precise still.

Landmarks help a driver find the general area but not the gate. The official L&T Metro station listing places KPHB Colony station on Mumbai Highway at Bhagya Nagar Colony, Kukatpally, and lists KPHB Colony, JNTU College and Kukatpally as separate stations. That is useful for orientation, for example telling the crew which side of the area you are in. It does not tell anyone which phase or building you are in, whether a vehicle may enter, or where it may stop, so use it for direction only and use the details below for the last stretch.

For both pickup and drop, share:

  • The phase and the PIN on your own address.
  • The plot, house or block number, including the HIG, MIG or LIG number where it applies.
  • The building or apartment name and the flat number and floor.
  • The goods entrance: the gate or lane a vehicle can use, which may not be the main gate.
  • A map pin dropped at that goods entrance.
  • Any association or building rule on vehicle entry, timing or lift booking.

Even when pickup and drop are in the same phase, the two goods entrances can be on different lanes, so each end needs its own pin.

An address written as a condition

Illustrative example, not a completed job: Phase [number], Block [letter], [building name], Flat 302, third floor. Goods entrance: side lane, not the main gate. Pin dropped at the lane entrance. No goods lift. Vehicle can stop at the lane entrance, about 60 steps from the building door. One line like this tells the crew where to go, which floor to plan for and where the vehicle will wait. If any of it changes before moving day, such as a lift going out of service, tell the crew lead early.

Moving from a Kukatpally address outside the numbered KPHB phases? See the Kukatpally moving guide.

Two addresses in KPHB can still need different plans

For a move between numbered phases, send the phase and goods-entry pin for both homes. For an independent house, include gate width, steps and any upper-floor rooms. For an apartment, confirm the lift opening, furniture permission and reservation. Check the actual lane rather than choosing a vehicle from the phase number alone.

A building described as near JNTU, KPHB Colony metro or the Mumbai Highway approach still needs its own road and entrance details. If your pickup is in a nearby colony such as Bhagya Nagar, Vivekananda Nagar, Hydernagar or Allwyn Colony, use the name printed on that address and share the pin. Mention any separate goods entrance or association requirement before fixing the appointment.

Lifts, stairs and fit checks at both ends

In an apartment building the work often depends less on distance than on what happens between the flat door and the vehicle. Check the route at the pickup and again at the drop, because the new building’s lift and stair turns are the ones people forget to measure.

Route checks for pickup and drop
CheckWhat to measure or noteWhy it matters
LiftCabin width, depth and height, door opening, and whether goods may use itDecides which large pieces can go by lift
Stair turns and landingsLanding width, headroom, number of turnsA long piece may not turn a landing even when the staircase is wide
Flat door and passagesDoor opening and any narrow turn insideOften the tightest point of the route
Stopping pointWhere the vehicle can stop and roughly how many steps to the building doorSets the carry and the labour time

Measure the packed piece and the separated panels

For each large piece, note width, height and depth as it will actually travel, wrapped and protected, and also the largest panel it separates into. Compare both against the smallest opening on the route at both ends. A wardrobe that passes a door in panels may still not pass in one piece, and a smaller truck does not make a stair turn any wider.

Dismantling is planned only where the furniture is designed to come apart. The panels are protected and labelled, screws and fittings go in a labelled bag, and adhesive tape is kept off finished surfaces. It is better to list this in the quote than to decide it on the stairs.

If a piece will not fit

Before loading, the choice is another permitted method handled by qualified people, a new slot once the route is sorted out, or leaving that piece out of the move. After the piece is already on the vehicle, it is not abandoned or removed from the move. It goes to a later slot that you and the property have accepted, or to confirmed holding as described in the documents section.

Moving within a KPHB Colony phase or building

A move from one flat to another in the same phase, or from one floor to another in the same building, is not a cross-city journey. It is mostly handling: how many pieces, how far each travels and how long the access slots last. ALPM plans these moves from the inventory and the door-to-door carry rather than assuming a full truck.

Three ways to plan a short local move
OptionMay suitWhat to check
Same-building handlingA floor-to-floor move where the lift or stairs reach both flats and a road vehicle may not be neededUsable path, crew numbers, lift booking and any property arrangement
Small vehicle, more than one tripA short move to a nearby lane where one trip would not carry everythingEvery trip repeats the carry, the gate time and the receiver’s readiness, so a small vehicle is not automatically cheaper
Single suitable vehicleA load that fits one vehicle with a stopping point close to both entrancesWhether the vehicle can actually reach both goods entrances and whether the packed dimensions fit the route

The choice rests on packed dimensions, access at both ends, the slots both properties accept and the total cost. More trips are not better by default, and neither is a smaller vehicle. All three are assessed once the inventory and the access details are known.

PG rooms, few items and larger homes

If you live in a PG, a single room or a handful of furniture pieces is quoted from that item list, not from a BHK size. Mention anything large or fragile, the floor, the lift and any gate timing or permission from the PG management. At the other end, a large flat or an independent house is sized by its large furniture and appliances, not by the home label. In every case a room-by-room list with the large items marked is the most useful thing you can send.

Local routes from KPHB Colony

Nearby and cross-city destinations: the checks that change the moving plan
DestinationWhat to settle before loading
HITEC City, Madhapur, Kondapur or GachibowliCoordinate the KPHB loading window with the receiving gate, goods lift and unloading appointment.
Miyapur, Chandanagar or HafeezpetIdentify the destination building, lift dimensions and truck stopping point rather than relying on the main-road landmark.
Nizampet, Bachupally or Pragathi NagarConfirm the actual road and entrance, working lift and readiness of the new home.
Kukatpally, Moosapet, Balanagar or Allwyn ColonyCompare the complete carrying work and floors; a short trip does not remove packing or loading.
Ameerpet, Begumpet, Secunderabad or KompallyAllow travel time between the two agreed appointments and confirm the receiver before dispatch.
LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar or UppalPlan the cross-city drive together with the destination property’s permitted moving hours.

For more detail at the receiving end, see the Gachibowli moving guide, Miyapur shifting page and Ameerpet move planning. If you are moving into KPHB, supply the same phase and entrance details for your new flat.

Hostel, PG and bachelor room shifting

A room move near JNTU or elsewhere in KPHB may contain a bed, study table, fridge, cartons and luggage rather than a full household. Send photos and dimensions of those pieces, identify who may release them and mark any PG-owned furniture that stays. Ask the manager about goods entry, lift use and checkout time.

If you also want to send a bike to your home town, list it separately from the cartons. Confirm carrier acceptance, collection point and the schedule for each shipment. The household and vehicle may travel on different days; ask for the two scopes and prices to be clear in the estimate.

Packing, carton labels and a room map

Good packing protects in two ways. Fragile items need cushioning against knocks and a rigid outer layer, and a crate where one is assessed for a delicate piece. Wrapping a surface finish protects against scratches, but it does not protect against impact, so a polished panel still needs support and careful handling.

Labels that work at both ends

Each carton should show the old address in short form, the new address with the receiving room, the carton number and the total, and any handling note. Illustrative example, not a completed job: From Phase 3, Block B, Flat 302. To [new phase and building], Flat 105, Kitchen. Carton 14 of 32. Fragile, this side up.

A receiving-room map

Give each room in the new flat a name, such as Bedroom 1, Kitchen, Hall or Pooja room, and use the same names on a simple plan, on the room doors and on the labels. Hand the plan to whoever receives the goods. At the pickup, a note of which room each cluster of furniture comes from helps load room by room.

If you pack some cartons yourself

Before packing cartons yourself, confirm acceptance, any inspection requirement, handling arrangements and the written cover conditions for those cartons. Write down heavy cartons and fragile ones so they are lifted with enough hands.

Split-trip dispatch and receipt worksheet

When a move goes out in more than one trip, whether by a small vehicle or in stages within a phase, a single count at the end is not enough. A short worksheet, kept by you and the crew lead, shows what left, what arrived, in what condition and who held it. It splits into a dispatch side and a receipt side.

Dispatch record (filled at pickup)
Item IDWhat it isAssigned tripDispatched count
Number from the carton label or furniture tagCarton, wardrobe panel, sofa and so on1, 2, 3Count loaded for that trip
Receipt record (filled at the drop)
Item IDReceived countCondition or differenceReceiving room
Same ID as aboveCount that came off the vehicleVisible damage, or a shortfall left openRoom name from the room map

A hypothetical example

Hypothetical, not an ALPM job:

Example for a two-trip move
Item IDTripSent and receivedCondition, room and custody
C-01 to C-12 (cartons)112 sent, 12 receivedNo visible damage; Kitchen
W-1 to W-3 (wardrobe panels)13 sent, 3 receivedEdge scuff on W-2 photographed; Bedroom 1
S-1 (sofa)21 sent, 0 received so farWaiting for trip 2; held by the crew lead on the vehicle

Rules for every trip

  • Every trip has its own record of receiver readiness, the agreed entry and unloading time and who holds the goods at each stage.
  • A later trip is not sent just because the receiver accepted the first. Check readiness and the slot again before each dispatch.
  • An open difference stays open on the sheet until it is resolved or noted by both sides.

If goods must change vehicle

A transfer to another vehicle on the way is used only when it has been checked and agreed as permitted and workable. Record who the operator is, where the transfer happens, which crew carries, unloads and reloads, any local legs that follow, the scope and cost once, the item IDs and counts, their condition, and who hands over and who receives.

Packers and movers services in KPHB Colony

Household and PG shifting

Moves of flats, houses and PG rooms within KPHB Colony, elsewhere in Hyderabad or to another city. The work covers what the written quote lists: packing, loading, transport, unloading and, where agreed, placement.

Packing, loading and unloading

Packing with materials suited to crockery and glass, electronics, clothes and books. Loading and unloading can also be quoted on their own if you have your own vehicle. That is a scope you choose, not a different kind of move, and the carry from the flat to the vehicle is the main factor in the quote.

Furniture and appliance work

Dismantling and reassembling furniture is assessed from your item list. For appliances, the model manual decides how it is prepared and restarted. A washing machine that uses transit bolts must have them fitted correctly for transport and removed before first use. Work such as AC refrigerant handling, electrical connections, plumbing, carpentry or IT cabling needs a qualified person and appears as a separate scope. The packing crew and the technician are different roles, so ask who does each task and under which line of the quote it falls.

Rental flats

In a rented flat some fittings belong to the flat and some to you. Geysers, chimneys, light fittings, curtain rods, modular wardrobes and ACs are common examples. Check the handover list before packing, mark what stays, put your own fixtures on the dismantling list and photograph the flat as you leave it and as you enter the new one.

Vehicles and holding

Scooters, bikes and cars are moved on a carrier, covered in the intercity section. Holding goods for a gap between homes is only possible where assessed and confirmed, as described in the documents section.

Office and shop shifting in KPHB Colony

Offices and shops are quoted after looking at the actual assets and the access at both ends. The figures below are an indicative guide for local moves within Hyderabad. They are not seat-based prices and not intercity rates.

Indicative guide for local office moves within Hyderabad
Type of moveIndicative range
Some office goods relocation₹4,500–9,500
Complete office shifting₹6,000–19,000

The range is wide because an office is not a standard unit. A survey of the assets and access replaces it with a figure for your actual move. An office move to another city is quoted on its own from the route and the load.

What an asset record should hold

Office or shop asset record
RecordWhat to write
Asset ID and countThe ID on each desk, cabinet, computer, printer or unit, and the total count
Condition and packed sizeVisible condition before packing and the packed dimensions of large pieces
AuthorisationWho is authorised to release assets at the pickup, and who receives them at the new place

IT, power and special items

Computers and network equipment are backed up, shut down and disconnected by your IT person or vendor at an agreed time. Reconnection, testing and restart at the new place are separate steps, and power points may need a qualified electrician. The restart is planned around what can be done safely, not around a fixed hour. Servers, safes and industrial machinery need an explicit assessment and are not assumed in the guide range.

Personal items, files and laptops may be carried by their owners, but business assets follow the authority of the person releasing them. We do not need passwords, and we do not read file contents or put contents on labels. Boxes carry an owner or department, an asset ID and a destination.

Choose a Moving Time That Works for Both Buildings

Before selecting an early morning, Sunday or weekend slot, ask both properties when goods and furniture may move and whether the lift must be reserved. Then check crew and vehicle availability. An early start helps only when the building and vehicle approach permit it; there is no single shifting time for every KPHB phase.

For a month-end rental handover, a work joining date or a school-day move, share your deadline and alternative dates early. Keep the owner handover and the receiving keys ready, and obtain the advance, cancellation and rescheduling terms before paying. A changed date needs a new confirmation of the crew, vehicle and both lift slots.

If your approach uses JNTU Road or the highway side, include current traffic in the plan between loading and unloading. Check weather near the moving day and arrange a dry carrying path. Keep mattresses, sofas and cartons dry before they are wrapped; if heavy rain makes handling unsafe, agree the next workable time rather than assuming extra film solves it.

How a KPHB Colony move runs

  1. Share both addresses with the phase, number, floor, goods entrance and pin, plus a room-by-room inventory with the large items marked.
  2. Receive a written quote showing the packing level, vehicle, labour, any specialist work, payment terms and the GST line.
  3. Agree the moving window at both ends and decide who dismantles what before the crew arrives.
  4. Pack and label by room, then load in a sequence that allows safe unloading at the other end.
  5. Before dispatch, confirm the receiver and the arrival slot (see below).
  6. Transport and unload at the agreed goods entrance.
  7. Place cartons by the room map, then reassemble furniture and walk through with the crew lead.

Checks before dispatch

Confirm that someone at the drop holds the keys and has the authority to accept the goods, that any permission the property requires for the vehicle or the lift is in place, that the path is usable and that the unloading time is agreed. If the estimated arrival changes, recheck all of these. If the receiver is not ready when the vehicle arrives, the waiting arrangement is whatever your booking says, and holding is only possible where it was confirmed in advance.

Unloading and placing

All goods are safely unloaded and placed within the agreed unloading time first. Furniture assembly and unpacking come after that. Essential boxes such as bedding and kitchen basics come in first only if the load and unload sequence allows it safely, and goods are never left on the vehicle so that cartons can be unpacked.

Condition check at the drop

Check each item promptly as it comes off the vehicle, ask for help with fragile and heavy pieces, and photograph any damage and the labels before it is moved again. Report it to the crew lead on the day and follow the claim terms in your actual booking, because the conditions that count are the ones written for your move.

How to Choose KPHB Movers and What to Expect From ALPM

Give every mover the same inventory, the same addresses with floors and goods entrances, and the same date, then compare the answers line by line.

Where an ALPM quote starts

ALPM works from its base in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, and its quote follows the inventory and access you share, with the scope written down, the moving window agreed and the items handed over against a count. A mover who asks for the phase, the number, the floor, the lift and the stopping point is estimating from the real job, so use the questions on this page to test any mover, ALPM included. You can reach ALPM on +91 94671 86002.

ALPM is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, with its published registered office at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. Check the business name, contact and payable estimate for your booking alongside the same item list supplied to other providers.

Moving from KPHB Colony to Vijayawada, Pune or Visakhapatnam

If your move leaves Hyderabad, the work still starts at your KPHB Colony gate, but the price follows the corridor, the inventory and the choice between a shared and a dedicated vehicle. A shared load travels with other goods, so its dispatch date depends on matching bookings, not on a truck that must be literally full. A dedicated vehicle is allocated to your goods, with dispatch and delivery windows agreed before booking. A shared vehicle can accommodate a whole home when capacity and dates fit; few items do not automatically need shared transport. Part-load means a portion of shared capacity. For transport-only work, agree who packs, loads, carries and unloads before comparing its price with full handling.

Indicative 2 BHK household moves from Hyderabad, by corridor
CorridorShared loadDedicated vehicle
Vijayawada (about 280 km)₹16,000–25,000₹23,500–33,000
Pune (about 565 km)₹19,500–29,500₹28,000–39,000
Visakhapatnam (about 580 km)₹20,000–30,500₹28,500–40,000
Planning estimates for transit time
CorridorDedicated vehicleShared load
VijayawadaSame day or next day, provisional until loading and dispatch are done and the receiving home is readyConfirmed once a matching load is found before dispatch
Pune2–3 days4–6 days
Visakhapatnam2–4 days5–7 days

These are planning estimates counted after dispatch. Packing, and for shared loads the consolidation before dispatch, are additional. The prices are Hyderabad city corridor references, not the exact distance from a KPHB Colony gate, so your pickup pin, the destination, the full inventory and the vehicle all affect the final quote.

Vehicle transport on two routes

Vehicle transport by route and model class
Model classVijayawadaVisakhapatnam
Scooter up to 150 cc₹4,000–5,000₹5,000–6,000
Bike above 150 cc₹5,000–6,000₹6,000–7,500
Hatchback, open carrier₹8,500–10,500₹10,500–13,000
Sedan or SUV, carrier₹10,500–13,000₹13,000–16,000

These are not a fixed price for every car. The hatchback guide is for an open carrier. Confirm the carrier arrangement for a sedan or SUV; an enclosed carrier is quoted separately. A vehicle has its own calendar, collection and delivery points, and condition record, so it may not leave or arrive on the same day as the household goods.

For a vehicle, share the exact make and model, confirm which carrier is available, and agree the loading and unloading scope and cost. Photograph all sides, the odometer, the keys and the accessories before it is loaded. Follow the maker’s and the carrier’s instructions on fuel and battery, and ask the carrier which papers it needs, because there is no single rule that applies to every route. Premium vehicles, EVs and non-running vehicles need individual assessment, including carrier suitability and collection arrangements.

For other destinations, see Hyderabad to Bangalore moving guidance, Chennai relocation options and the Vijayawada route guide. Each estimate should still include your KPHB phase and pickup access alongside the receiving address.

Documents, valuables, holding and cover

A move goes better when the paperwork is plain and complete before the first carton is packed. Keep these together on paper or on your phone:

  • The written quote, with the packing level, vehicle, labour, specialist work, payment terms and GST line.
  • Your inventory, with large and fragile items marked.
  • Dated photos or a short video of large furniture, appliances and valuables before packing.
  • The rental handover list, if you are leaving or entering a rented flat.
  • Any gate or association requirement for vehicle or driver details, passed to the crew lead in advance.

Valuables you carry yourself

Carry cash, jewellery, important documents and medicines with you instead of packing them. For vehicles, ask the actual carrier which items it declines and which papers it needs. Heavy or unsafe goods should not be left inside a vehicle being transported.

Holding goods between homes

Holding should be arranged before pickup where the operator, the location and the custody terms are confirmed in writing, with the item IDs and counts, their actual condition at entry, how and when you can access them, how long they will stay, the rate, the exit and the redelivery. Keep the holding confirmation with the inventory and update the receiver when the redelivery slot is accepted.

Written cover

If your move includes any goods cover or transit protection, ask for its written conditions before moving day. Read what is covered, how value is declared, how and by when a problem is reported and what proof is needed. Those written conditions are what count if something goes wrong.

FAQs About Shifting in KPHB Colony

How much do packers and movers charge for a local move in KPHB Colony?
ALPM’s local starting charges are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. The final quote depends on your inventory, the packing level, the floor and lift, the carry from your door to the vehicle, any dismantling or appliance work and the vehicle needed. Few-item moves, 1 RK, 4+ BHK homes and villas are quoted from the actual inventory. GST is shown on its own line.
What details do you need for an accurate quote, and is a landmark enough?
A landmark such as the metro station or JNTU only gives direction. For each end, share the phase, the plot, house or block number (with the HIG, MIG or LIG number if it applies), the building and flat, the floor, the goods entrance and a map pin at that entrance. Also say whether a working lift can take furniture, and list large items room by room. The phase with the number is more precise than a number alone.
Will you send a full truck for a move inside KPHB Colony?
Not necessarily. A same-building move may not need a road vehicle at all, though the path, crew and property arrangements still need checking. A small vehicle with more than one trip is an assessed option, and so is a single suitable vehicle. The choice depends on packed dimensions, access at both ends, the slots both properties accept and the total cost.
How do I check whether a wardrobe or bed will fit the lift and stairs, and what if it does not?
Measure width, height and depth of the packed piece and of its largest separated panel, then compare them with the smallest door, lift cabin and stair turn at both pickup and drop. A smaller truck does not fix a stair fit. If a piece will not pass, the options before loading are another permitted method handled by qualified people, a new slot or leaving it out. After loading it goes to a later agreed unloading time or confirmed holding.
How do you keep track of goods when a move is split into more than one trip?
Use a worksheet with each item ID, its assigned trip, the dispatched count, the received count, the condition or difference and the receiving room. Every trip also records receiver readiness, the agreed entry and unloading time and who holds the goods. A later trip is not sent just because the first was accepted, and open differences stay on the sheet until resolved.
Can I move only a few items, one room or a PG room?
Yes. A few-item, single-room or PG move is quoted from your item list and the access at both ends, not from a BHK size. Send a list with the large and fragile items marked, the floors, the lift and the place where a vehicle can stop. If the PG has gate timings or needs permission for a vehicle, mention that too.
I live in a rented flat. What should I check before moving?
Check the handover agreement or list for fixtures such as geysers, chimneys, light fittings, curtain rods, modular wardrobes and ACs. Mark those that stay with the flat so they are not packed, and put your own fixtures on the dismantling list so the quote covers them. Photograph the flat as you leave it and as you enter the new one.
How are computers, servers and other assets handled when an office or shop moves?
Assets are recorded by ID, count, condition and packed size, with a named person authorised to release them and a named receiver. Your IT person or vendor backs up, shuts down and disconnects computers and network equipment at an agreed time, and reconnection, testing and restart are separate steps planned around what can be done safely. Servers, safes and industrial equipment need an explicit assessment. We do not need passwords or file contents.
How long does a move from KPHB Colony to Pune, Visakhapatnam or Vijayawada take?
As planning estimates counted after dispatch, a dedicated vehicle takes 2–3 days to Pune and 2–4 days to Visakhapatnam, and a shared load takes 4–6 days to Pune and 5–7 days to Visakhapatnam. Packing and any consolidation of a shared load before dispatch are additional. For Vijayawada, a dedicated vehicle may arrive the same day or the next day, but that is provisional until loading and dispatch are done and the receiving home is ready. A shared load is confirmed once a matching load is found before dispatch.
Can you move a scooter, bike or car from KPHB Colony?
Yes, on a carrier, priced by route and model class. On the Vijayawada route a scooter up to 150 cc is ₹4,000–5,000 and a hatchback on an open carrier is ₹8,500–10,500. On the Visakhapatnam route the same two are ₹5,000–6,000 and ₹10,500–13,000. A closed carrier is quoted separately. The vehicle has its own calendar, collection and delivery points and condition record, and fuel and battery follow the maker’s and the carrier’s instructions.
How should I compare two quotes from different movers?
Make sure both are based on the same written inventory, the same addresses and floors, and the same packing level. Then compare labour and floors, dismantling and refitting, the vehicle and whether it can reach your goods entrance, unpacking and placement, the written cover conditions, the payment terms and whether GST is included. A lower total that leaves out packing or dismantling is not a lower price.
What should I do if something is damaged or missing when the goods arrive?
Check each item as it comes off the vehicle against your list, ask for help with fragile and heavy pieces, and photograph any damage and the labels before the item is moved again. Tell the crew lead on the day and note it on the receipt record. Then follow the claim terms in your actual booking, since the conditions written for your move are the ones that apply.
Can you arrange a move between different KPHB phases, including Phase 15?
Send both complete phase addresses, the goods-entry pins, floors and the item list. The vehicle, number of trips and appointment are confirmed after checking access and availability for those exact addresses. Do not assume two phase numbers have the same entrance or travel plan.
Which vehicle will come for my KPHB house shifting?
The choice follows the packed volume, large-item dimensions, lane and gate access, carrying distance and both moving appointments. Compare a suitable single vehicle with assessed smaller-vehicle trips when necessary. A BHK label alone is not enough to select a truck.
Can I shift on Sunday or early in the morning?
Ask about availability for your date and check the moving hours permitted by both properties. Reserve any required lift or gate pass and obtain confirmation of the full appointment. Early morning or Sunday is useful only when both buildings and the planned approach allow it.
Can my KPHB to Gachibowli or HITEC City move finish the same day?
A straightforward local move may fit the same day, depending on the inventory, packing, floors, lift, carrying distance and the receiving building’s permitted hours. Assess those details together and agree the loading and unloading windows before booking.
My two societies allow different shifting hours. What should I do?
Share the actual permitted hours for both addresses at the estimate stage. Confirm whether packing, travel and unloading can fit those windows; if they cannot, agree another date, revised appointment or assessed holding arrangement before dispatch.
Can I send a bike home with a few cartons from KPHB?
List the bike separately from the household cartons and share the destination, model and collection details. Ask for the carrier and household handling scopes, prices and dates to be clear. Collection or delivery can be on different days, so retain separate counts and condition records.
