Packers and Movers Hyderabad to Ahmedabad

For a Hyderabad to Ahmedabad household move, plan around 1,200 km by road and 3–6 days after dispatch. The 2 BHK budget guide is ₹20,500–45,500, depending on inventory, packing, access and shared or dedicated transport. Loading and any shared-load waiting come before dispatch; car and bike carriers have separate schedules.

ALPM plans the Hyderabad pickup and the actual Ahmedabad receiving address together. A tower, an old-city pol house and a Gandhinagar or GIFT City destination need different access details. Share both addresses, your goods list and key dates through the enquiry form below so the estimate covers the complete job, with GST shown separately.

Packers and Movers Hyderabad to Ahmedabad Charges for House Shifting

Use these ranges to budget for house shifting from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad. The written estimate follows your goods, packing, access at both homes, dates and transport arrangement, with GST shown separately. Two homes with the same bedroom count can need different vehicle space and handling.

Household planning ranges, Hyderabad to Ahmedabad
Home sizePlanning rangeHow to read it
1 BHK₹16,500–30,500A lightly furnished flat sits low in the band; a full kitchen and heavy furniture push it up.
2 BHK₹20,500–45,500The widest spread comes from who packs, the arrangement and the access at both ends.
3 BHK₹24,500–55,500Volume and the number of fragile or awkward pieces matter more than the room count.
4 BHK, villa or largerQuoted from the actual inventoryNot stretched from the ranges above; it needs a room-by-room list.

What the household figure is built on

The guide assumes ordinary packing, loading, road transport, unloading and agreed assembly, each counted once. Ask the estimate to identify any extra work and count each task once. Check these lines when comparing totals:

  • Road and site items: tolls, parking and waiting time.
  • Access work: stairs, a long carry from the vehicle, or a transfer leg at the Ahmedabad end.
  • Add-ons: crates, unpacking of contents, removal of packing material, technical work, storage or a holding arrangement.
  • Optional transit cover, which is covered under paperwork below.

What moves a quote up or down

Two 2 BHK flats can land at opposite ends of the band. One has a sofa set, two beds and a dozen cartons. The other has a full kitchen, three wardrobes and a shelf of books. These are the things that separate them:

  • The arrangement: a shared load on flexible dates usually costs less than a dedicated vehicle on a fixed date.
  • Who packs: you packing the non-fragile groups, or the crew packing everything including glass and crockery.
  • Access at either end: a working lift and a vehicle at the door, or stairs, a long carry, a narrow lane or a pol street.
  • Heavy or awkward items: a treadmill, a piano, a large glass top or a marble table.
  • Dates: month-end, festival weeks and short notice tighten crew and vehicle availability.
  • Extra work beyond the base agreed: specialist dismantling or refitting, unpacking of contents and changes to placement.

Few items instead of a full home

If you are sending a bed, a wardrobe and some cartons, the price is not a BHK figure. The charging basis is the actual item count, packed size, weight and volume, with any minimum stated in the quote. Send a list with approximate dimensions and say what stays behind in Hyderabad.

Combining a home and a vehicle

For arithmetic only, a 2 BHK guide plus a hatchback guide adds up to ₹34,000–62,500. That is the sum of two ranges, not an invoice and not a bundled quote. The household and vehicle have separate scopes and may arrive on different days. Check how GST and any selected cover are shown in each quote.

Ahmedabad Delivery: Old-City Pol, Apartment Bay or Gandhinagar Address

The delivery address can change the work substantially. An old-city house, an apartment tower and a property in nearby Gandhinagar need different access details, so identify your actual destination before comparing quotes.

A house in an old-city pol

East of the Sabarmati river, the old walled city is a dense area of traditional courtyard houses on residential streets known as pol, accessed through gates called khadki. For a move, that turns into a practical checklist: the actual gate, the house entrance, any steps or stair turns inside, and the carry path from the point where a vehicle may lawfully stop.

Whether a vehicle can enter or stop close by depends on the street and on local rules, so it should not be assumed either way. Not every Ahmedabad home is in a pol, and there is no blanket entry rule to plan around. Ask the household or the person managing the house to confirm the gate, when the permitted entrance will be open and where a vehicle can pull up. If it cannot get close, the crew may carry goods the remaining distance, or goods may go onto a smaller vehicle for the last leg, which changes labour and cost. That is better assessed before dispatch than discovered at the gate.

An apartment in Thaltej, Satellite, Bopal or a similar society

For a tower, the questions are about the building rather than the street. Send the building and tower name, the floor, the lift type and its cabin width, depth and height, and whether the lift can be reserved for move-in. Find out where the vehicle can actually stop (the entrance, a loading bay or the basement) and whether the society sets a gate pass, a time window or a vehicle size limit. These rules differ from one building to the next, so check yours rather than relying on the neighbourhood. A metro station or landmark helps with orientation but is not a loading point, so give the exact building address and the entrance the crew should use.

Gandhinagar or another nearby town

A Gandhinagar delivery is its own written address. A quote prepared for Ahmedabad does not stretch to it automatically. Give the sector or area, society or street, house or flat number, floor and PIN, and say which city the delivery is in. When two quotes differ, check first that both were written for the same delivery address.

Will each item get through at both ends

Before dispatch, measure each large piece as packed (width, height and depth) and compare it with door openings, the lift cabin width, depth and height, and stair turns and landings at both the pickup and delivery addresses. A whole item must pass, and so must every panel of one that is taken apart. Where the design allows, a wardrobe or bed can be dismantled, with panels separated and protected, each labelled, and the fittings bagged and tagged to the piece.

A smaller truck helps a vehicle reach a building. It does nothing for a wardrobe that cannot turn on a staircase. If an item's path cannot be settled, the choices are to dismantle it where the design allows, to have another suitable method assessed by a qualified specialist, to arrange a new slot, or to leave the item out. A rope lift over a balcony, for example, is only an option if a qualified operator has assessed it, the permissions are lawful and in place, and feasibility is confirmed. It is not something to assume a shifting crew can do.

A last-leg transfer, only when it is genuinely workable

If the main vehicle cannot reach the address, a transfer to a smaller vehicle or a hand-carry from a nearby stopping point may be needed. Agree the operator, permitted transfer point, availability and crew for carrying, unloading and reloading before relying on the last leg. Mark carrying, unloading, reloading and the local leg as included or extra once, and check item IDs and actual goods condition at each handover.

Give the locality, then the exact receiving property

Ahmedabad-region address details to include in your enquiry
Destination descriptionWhat to confirm
Satellite, Prahlad Nagar, Vastrapur, Bodakdev, Thaltej or SG Highway sideSociety, tower, floor, actual goods entrance, loading bay and the lift slot.
Bopal, South Bopal, Shela, Ambli, Gota or Science City sideThe complete property address and gate pin; do not assume a highway landmark identifies the entrance.
Chandkheda, Motera, Sabarmati, Naroda, Nikol or VastralCorrect locality and road approach, with vehicle standing space and the final carry.
Maninagar, Isanpur, Vatva, Narol or the old-city areaWhether this is an apartment, independent house, pol entrance or commercial premises, with the usable carrying route.
Gandhinagar, GIFT City, Sanand or KalolState the destination town and full address when requesting the quote; the route, receiving permissions and final leg need their own assessment.

For a GIFT City office or residence, name the building and receiving contact and confirm the site's entry process. An Ahmedabad city quote does not automatically include a different endpoint.

Hyderabad to Ahmedabad Route and Transit Time: About 1,200 km, 3 to 6 Days After Dispatch

For planning, Hyderabad to Ahmedabad is about 1,200 km by road. A passenger-car map view via NH52 shows just over 1,170 km and close to 20 hours of driving, and the real figure moves with your pickup and drop points and with the road a goods vehicle uses. That driving time is not a delivery time for household goods, because it leaves out packing, loading, consolidation, unloading and handover. Mapped routes and the roads a goods vehicle takes can differ, so no fixed corridor, halt or expressway access is implied for your booking.

3 to 6 days, counted from dispatch

For household goods, plan for about 3 to 6 days after the vehicle leaves Hyderabad. The count starts at dispatch, not on packing day. Treat this as an estimated window and confirm the schedule for your booking. Route availability for your dates is a separate question from transit time, so ask for a loading date, a dispatch date and a delivery window to be agreed before the vehicle goes.

From packing to delivery

  1. Packing, which may take its own day for a large home.
  2. Pickup and loading in Hyderabad, with goods counted.
  3. Consolidation, in a shared arrangement only, while other goods are matched to the vehicle. Ask for an expected dispatch date, because this can add days.
  4. Dispatch, which is the day the 3 to 6 day count starts.
  5. Road transit.
  6. A delivery appointment, which depends on your keys and receiver.
  7. Unloading and count at the door, which can take part of a day for a larger home.

Cars and bikes run on a separate clock

A car or bike has its own carrier window and may arrive on a different day from the household goods. Agree its collection point, delivery point and receiving contact separately. Your own flight, train or drive is a fourth clock, which is why a named receiver for the Ahmedabad door matters.

Which Truck Should Carry Your Hyderabad to Ahmedabad Load?

Choose the vehicle after the packed inventory is assessed. A 2 BHK with several wardrobes and book cartons may need more space than a lightly furnished 3 BHK. Body length alone does not tell you usable capacity: ask about internal width and height, loading opening, payload and the space needed to protect and secure the pieces.

Truck and space decisions for this route
Your loadWhat to assessWhat the estimate should state
Few items or one roomEach packed piece, carton count, weight and handling needs.Booked shared space or a suitable dedicated option, minimum charge, transfers and expected dispatch.
1 or 2 BHKFurniture, kitchen cartons, appliances and dismantled panels, rather than room count alone. The proposed vehicle or reserved capacity, packing level and whether all goods travel together.
3 BHK or a heavily furnished homeBulky wardrobes, dining furniture, books, gym equipment and fragile pieces.Usable body dimensions, load limits, protection and the loading plan.
4 BHK, villa or officeA room-by-room or asset inventory, internal stairs, specialist items and any phased release. An inventory-based quote and the actual arrangement for each shipment or stage.

If a quote proposes a 14 ft, 17 ft or another truck label, ask for the actual usable dimensions and load plan. Confirm the proposed truck's availability and usable dimensions for your moving date instead of treating its length as a fixed BHK rule. Also check the Ahmedabad approach: a highway vehicle that suits the load may need a separately agreed last-mile arrangement at a narrow entrance.

Shared Load or Dedicated Vehicle: What Each Actually Controls

The choice is usually about dates and control rather than about the size of your home.

Shared load

A shared load can carry a full home, as long as capacity and your dates fit. It is not only for small loads. Dispatch waits until the goods are combined with others, so the main thing to ask is the expected dispatch date and whether goods change vehicle on the way. It is often the lower-cost option when your dates are flexible.

Dedicated vehicle

A dedicated vehicle carries only your goods, giving you more control over the agreed pickup, loading and dispatch schedule. That control does not extend to arrival, because transit still runs on the road and the carrier. It suits a fixed possession date, a lot of fragile or high-value goods, or a wish to limit the number of handovers.

Vehicle size follows volume, not BHK

A sparsely furnished 3 BHK can travel differently from a crowded 2 BHK, so the vehicle and arrangement are proposed from the actual inventory. Ask the team:

  • Which arrangement is proposed for my load, and why?
  • If it is shared, what dispatch date can be given and where will the goods be consolidated?
  • If it is dedicated, how does that change loading time and sequence?
  • Who is my contact for updates once the vehicle has left?

This page covers road transport only, and no arrangement is always cheaper or faster.

Moving Services from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad: Home, Few Items, Office, Vehicles and Storage

Household moves, 1 to 4 BHK and villas

A household move covers ordinary packing, loading, road transport and unloading of a whole home, plus agreed assembly. Dismantling, refitting and room placement are agreed as tasks and priced once. The assessment is based on your inventory, photos, access at both ends and dates.

Few items and part-loads

A part-load suits goods sent ahead of the family, a single bedroom set or a few pieces. It is priced from the items and their dimensions, not from a BHK minimum, and it usually travels in a shared arrangement with its own dispatch date.

Office assets

Office moves are planned from an asset list. Each release point and each receiving point has a named person, and goods are checked against physical IDs and their condition. IT backup, disconnection, reconnection and testing are separate from moving the furniture and equipment: your own qualified IT person does them, or a qualified technician is arranged and priced separately. Plan a restart schedule rather than expecting zero downtime. Machinery is quoted separately, and the loading scope covers the customer's goods only.

Qualified technical work

AC removal and refitting, electrical work, gas and plumbing connections and carpentry need qualified technicians, who are arranged and priced separately even when booked alongside the move. Do not assume a shifting crew does them. Refrigerators and washing machines should be prepared as the maker's manual for that model says, for example defrosting and drying, or fitting transit bolts where the model needs them. There is no universal day-before or restart rule.

Hyderabad to Ahmedabad Car and Bike Transport Charges

Vehicles are quoted individually, from the make, model, condition and the carrier proposed, and they travel on the carrier's own window. These are planning ranges, not a tariff.

Vehicle planning ranges, Hyderabad to Ahmedabad
VehiclePlanning rangeBasis
Commuter bike or scooter₹6,500–8,500One vehicle, quoted from its actual make, model and condition
Heavy bike₹8,500–10,000One vehicle, quoted from its actual make, model and condition
Hatchback or small car₹13,500–17,000One vehicle, carrier and collection scope agreed in the estimate
Sedan or standard SUV₹17,000–20,500One vehicle, carrier and collection scope agreed in the estimate

A large SUV, luxury car, electric vehicle, non-running or modified vehicle can fall outside these bands. Collection point, delivery point, carrier type (open or enclosed), wrapping, loading and unloading should each be marked included, extra or not applicable. A doorstep pickup or an open carrier is not something to assume is part of the figure.

Before the carrier arrives, photograph all sides, the roof and the odometer, with the date visible, and keep copies. Record which accessories stay with the vehicle and which you remove, and list the keys handed over, and keep the copies of papers the carrier requires. Fuel level, battery handling and folding the mirrors follow the maker's and the carrier's instructions, not a universal rule.

Storage between key dates

For a possession-date gap, ask whether storage is available for your goods and dates. Agree the operator, location, responsibility, item list and condition, access, duration, rate and redelivery before pickup. Keep the storage and handling price clear alongside the transport quote.

Packing and the Moving Process: From Estimate to Receiving in Ahmedabad

On a 1,200 km road move, goods spend days in a moving vehicle, so pack for the road rather than for the staircase. Cartons should be strong, filled firmly and sealed well, and any load that is handled more than once needs tougher packing.

Packing by item group

  • Clothes, linen and books: often packed by you. Keep book cartons small so they stay liftable.
  • Kitchenware and crockery: packed with padding between pieces.
  • Mirrors, glass tops and screens: cushioned and given rigid protection, with sizes and a photo sent to the team in advance. A crate is added only where it has been assessed as needed.
  • Mattresses and sofas: covered against dust and moisture.
  • Plants, perishables, flammables, cash, jewellery and documents: keep valuables and papers with you, and ask the carrier which items it will not take.

If you plan to pack some goods yourself, ask whether the team will accept self-packed cartons and on what terms. Do not assume they will, and ask for the answer in the estimate.

Furniture and appliances

Where the design allows, furniture is dismantled and each panel is protected and labelled. Screws and fittings go in bags tagged to the piece. Check that every dismantled panel and every whole item will pass the door, lift cabin and stair turn at both ends, as set out in the delivery section. Appliances are prepared as each maker's manual says, and anything that needs a qualified technician is arranged and priced separately.

Labels, counts and the first-night box

Number every carton and tag every furniture piece. Label by the room it will go to in Ahmedabad, not the room it left in Hyderabad. Photograph valuable or scratched pieces before loading, and count cartons and furniture separately at loading and at delivery. Pack a separate box for the first night, with chargers, medicines, toiletries, bedding and basic kitchen items, and carry it with you.

From enquiry to receiving

  1. Enquiry: share your inventory, the Hyderabad pickup address and the full Ahmedabad address.
  2. Access assessment: send entrances, floors, lift sizes, carry distances and photos for both ends.
  3. Estimate: the work, the packing split and the transport arrangement are written down and you approve them.
  4. Packing, loading and count: cartons are numbered, furniture is tagged and condition is photographed.
  5. Dispatch and updates: the vehicle leaves and you hear from the contact named in your plan.
  6. Receiving: your receiver counts packages and checks condition at the door.
  7. Agreed setup: placement, unpacking or refitting only where it was agreed.

Keep restricted and unsuitable items out of the ordinary load

Keep filled LPG cylinders, fuels and flammable materials out of the household shipment, and arrange any gas-connection transfer with your distributor. Ask about plants, perishables and other special items before packing; they may need a different arrangement.

Gujarat regulates liquor import, transport and possession through its prohibition framework and authorised exceptions. Do not assume bottles can travel in an ordinary household load, or that a GIFT City destination grants transport permission. Confirm any authorised arrangement with the Gujarat Prohibition and Excise authorities and the carrier before booking.

Choosing Your Moving Dates for Ahmedabad: Weather, Festivals and Keys

Start with the Hyderabad vacating date and the date the Ahmedabad property can actually receive goods. Then check vehicle availability, the dispatch window and the receiving society or household's permitted hours. Give more notice for a large load or a busy date rather than relying on a fixed booking lead time.

  • Summer: keep medicines and other heat-sensitive essentials with you, follow product storage instructions and arrange access so delivered cartons are not left waiting in unsuitable conditions.
  • Wet weather: keep upholstery and wooden items dry before packing, use suitable protection and plan a sheltered carry at both ends. More film cannot dry already damp contents.
  • Navratri, Diwali or Uttarayan dates: ask the actual receiver and property office about celebrations, availability and access. Check current local advisories before fixing delivery; do not assume every area has the same closure.
  • Month-end or fixed joining date: enquire early and compare alternative dates where possible. A confirmed receiving contact and key plan matter as much as the truck date.

Hyderabad Pickup: Society Rules, Lifts and Who Releases the Goods

Pickup is assessed from your actual address, whether it is a gated community, a tower or an independent house, so give the details below with your enquiry.

What to send for each pickup

  • Building name, flat number and floor, and a map pin for the gate the crew should use.
  • Whether a lift can be used, its size, and the carry from the point where the vehicle can stop.
  • The narrowest door or stair turn, and the size of your largest furniture.
  • The name and number of someone who can confirm access.

Arrange the building side

Gated communities and towers often need a service-lift booking, a gate pass or a time window for a moving vehicle. Ask your building management what it requires and pass that on, since a late lift slot can delay loading by hours. Settle keys, meter readings and any building handover separately from the loading plan.

On loading morning

Prepare the fridge according to its model manual, box the loose items you agreed to pack yourself, and clear beds and wardrobes for handling. Name one person who can release goods, answer the crew and sign the Hyderabad count. If goods will be collected from two places, such as a flat and a relative's home, each pickup is assessed on its own and the cost follows the actual scope.

Hyderabad and Secunderabad pickup areas

For a flat or office described as Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur, HITEC City, Kukatpally, Miyapur, Manikonda or Nallagandla, share the actual building and service entrance. For Secunderabad, Begumpet, Ameerpet, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Kompally, Alwal, Uppal, LB Nagar or Dilsukhnagar, use the same address-level detail. The booking team confirms access, collection and timing for the route; the area name is not a loading permission.

Keys, Dates and Receiver Readiness: Planning the Two Ends Together

If your Hyderabad vacating deadline comes before the Ahmedabad keys are ready, the gap needs a plan before loading, not after dispatch.

Two-address date planner
Date to settleQuestion to answer
Hyderabad vacating deadlineWhen must the home or office be handed over?
Loading dateWhen will goods be packed and loaded?
Dispatch dateWhen will the vehicle actually leave Hyderabad?
Arrival windowWhen is the vehicle expected in Ahmedabad?
Ahmedabad possession dateWhen will keys and access be available?
Receiver on delivery dayWho will be at the door with the inventory and room plan?

An illustrative example

This is an illustration, not a past job or a promise. Call the day you vacate in Hyderabad Day 0, and say the vehicle is dispatched on Day 1. A 3 to 6 day window after dispatch puts arrival between Day 4 and Day 7. If your Ahmedabad keys arrive on Day 5, the earliest arrival comes before you can open the door. The sensible choice is to decide before dispatch, picking a later dispatch, a delivery slot that follows the key date, or a confirmed holding arrangement.

What receiving actually needs

Before dispatch, confirm a receiver with keys and authority to accept the goods, any gate permission and lift slot required, a usable route for the crew and packed goods, and a room ready to receive them. A backup needs the same access and receiving authority.

If either is missing before the vehicle leaves

Agree a new delivery slot, or a holding arrangement, while the goods are still in Hyderabad. A holding arrangement should state:

  • the operator and the location;
  • availability for your dates;
  • custody, with goods and condition recorded against the item IDs;
  • access during the hold;
  • the duration and rate;
  • handling in and out, and redelivery to the Ahmedabad address.

Holding is not assumed to be available, and it is agreed before the truck is gone, not after.

Why Choose ALPM and How to Compare Packers and Movers on This Route

Who ALPM is

Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) is an independent business at H.No 5-85/134, Bhavani Nagar, Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad 500011. It is not connected with other movers that use a similar name. You can check the details yourself: GST 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, Udyam UDYAM-TS-02-0069425. The phone is +91 94671 86002 and the email is info@agarwalpackermoverindia.com.

What you can expect from an estimate

  • A written scope built from your inventory and the access details at both addresses, listing what is and is not included.
  • An agreed moving window, with loading, dispatch and delivery handled as separate dates.
  • An itemised handover, where goods are checked against your list at delivery.
  • Questions about both ends: the Hyderabad pickup, the Ahmedabad door, the keys date, Ahmedabad versus Gandhinagar, and a named receiver.
  • A separate assessment for any car or bike, instead of folding it into a household figure.

How to compare any two movers

Give each provider the same inventory, the same two addresses and the same dates. Then look at what comes back:

  • Scope: does it match your list and show who packs, who dismantles and what is extra?
  • Cost: what is in the figure, and how are GST and optional cover shown?
  • Arrangement: shared or dedicated for goods, and the carrier type for a vehicle.
  • Dates: loading, dispatch and a delivery window, written as three items.
  • Destination: was it written for your exact Ahmedabad or Gandhinagar address?
  • Identity: can you verify the name, address, phone numbers and GST registration yourself?
  • Terms: advance, balance, cancellation and rescheduling, and who handles a complaint or claim.

A low headline figure that leaves out packing, the arrangement or the vehicle is not a lower price.

Paperwork, Payment, Cover and Handover Checks

Paperwork for household goods and offices

You should receive an inventory that matches the estimate, the written work scope, an invoice with GST shown as its own line, and a record of the loading, dispatch and delivery dates. For an office, add a named release person and a receiver for each asset group.

Paperwork for a bike or car

Ask the carrier exactly which copies of papers it needs, and keep your own copies. If someone else will hand over or collect the vehicle, ask whether the carrier wants an authority letter. If you plan to re-register the vehicle in Gujarat, check with your own regional transport office what applies to you. A condition record with dated photos is useful at handover.

Payment

Ask before booking how much is due as an advance, when the balance falls due, whether you get a receipt for each payment, and what the cancellation and rescheduling terms are if your possession date moves. Settle these before you commit, not after.

Transit cover

Ask whether cover is included, optional or not offered. Look at the actual insurer, the policy, the declared value, the exclusions, the deductible and how a claim is reported. This sits alongside the carrier's own liability and is not a replacement for it. Do not assume cover is free or that a claim pays the full declared value, and ask for the policy copy where one is issued.

At the Ahmedabad door

Check item IDs against your list and look at the condition of each item. An intact outer carton and a correct count are not proof of what is inside, so open fragile cartons soon and report any problem promptly. Write any difference on the handover paperwork with photos before the crew leaves, then follow the reporting contact agreed at booking.

Keeping private details private

A moving record needs general contents, carton or item IDs, counts and handling needs. It does not need passwords, account details or the private contents of files. Choose which laptop, documents and valuables you will carry yourself, leave them outside the crew inventory and keep keys accessible.

Hyderabad to Ahmedabad Moving: FAQs

What does house shifting from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad cost?
As planning guides, a 1 BHK is about ₹16,500 to ₹30,500, a 2 BHK about ₹20,500 to ₹45,500 and a 3 BHK about ₹24,500 to ₹55,500. A 4 BHK, villa or office is quoted from an inventory. These are not a published tariff or an all-in quote. The figure depends on your inventory, who packs, access at both ends, the arrangement and your dates. GST is a separate line, and tolls, stairs, long carry, crates, storage and cover should each be marked included, extra or not applicable.
What is the cost of car transport from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad?
The planning guide is ₹13,500–17,000 for a hatchback or small car and ₹17,000–20,500 for a sedan or standard SUV. A large, luxury, electric, modified or non-running vehicle may fall outside these guides. Confirm the carrier type, actual collection and delivery points, protection and handling separately from household goods.
How many days does a Hyderabad to Ahmedabad move take?
Use about 3–6 days after dispatch as a household planning allowance, and confirm the window for your booking. Packing, loading and any shared-load consolidation happen before that count starts. A car or bike follows its own carrier schedule. Get loading, dispatch and the delivery window written separately.
Can a full home go on a shared load, and how are a few items priced?
Yes, a shared load can carry a full home if capacity and your dates fit, though dispatch waits until goods are combined. A dedicated vehicle gives you more control over the agreed pickup, loading and dispatch schedule, but not a guarantee of when it arrives. For a few items, the price follows the item count, packed size, weight and volume, with any minimum stated in the quote, rather than a BHK figure.
What if my Ahmedabad keys are not ready when the goods arrive?
Raise it before dispatch. With a 3 to 6 day window, goods can reach Ahmedabad before your keys do. The options are a later dispatch, a delivery slot that follows your key date, or a holding arrangement. Holding should state the operator and location, availability, custody and goods condition against item IDs, access, duration and rate, and redelivery. It is not assumed to be available.
Can goods be delivered to a house in an old-city pol?
It depends on the street and the house, so do not assume either way. Send the pol gate, the house entrance, any steps or stair turns and the carry path from where a vehicle can lawfully stop, along with a contact who can confirm access. If the vehicle cannot get close, goods may be hand-carried or moved to a smaller vehicle for the last leg, which changes labour and cost. Ask for that to be assessed before dispatch.
What should I arrange for an apartment in Thaltej, Satellite or Bopal?
Send the building and tower name, the floor, the lift size and whether it can be booked, and where the vehicle can stop. Ask the society about any gate pass, time window or vehicle size limit. Rules differ from one building to another, so check yours directly. A named receiver should have the keys and receiving authority, along with gate permission and a usable path for the crew and packed goods.
Does an Ahmedabad quote include Gandhinagar or GIFT City?
Give the exact destination at enquiry. A Gandhinagar or GIFT City address needs its own building, sector or locality, floor, PIN, gate instructions and receiving contact. Confirm that the quote includes that endpoint and any final leg rather than assuming an Ahmedabad city price extends automatically.
Will a smaller truck solve a wardrobe that will not turn on the stairs?
A smaller truck can help reach the building but cannot change a narrow stair turn. Check the packed whole piece, or every separated panel where dismantling is possible, against doors, lift cabin width, depth and height, landings and turns at both homes. Agree suitable dismantling, a separately assessed specialist method, another slot or leaving the item out before loading.
What should I settle about payment and cover before booking?
Ask how much is due as an advance, when the balance falls due, whether you receive a receipt for each payment, and what the cancellation and rescheduling terms are. For cover, ask whether it is included, optional or not offered, then look at the insurer, the policy, the declared value, the exclusions, the deductible and the claim reporting steps. Cover sits alongside the carrier's liability, and neither should be assumed to pay in full.
What should I do if something is damaged or missing on delivery?
Check item IDs against your list and look at each item's condition before the crew leaves. An intact outer carton and a correct count do not prove what is inside, so open fragile cartons soon. Write any difference on the handover paperwork with photos, then report it promptly to the contact agreed at booking and follow the claim steps for the carrier or any policy.
What do I need to prepare to ship a car or bike?
Ask the carrier which copies of papers it needs, and keep your own copies. Photograph all sides and the odometer with the date visible, remove loose items and accessories, and hand over keys as the carrier asks. Fuel level, battery handling and mirrors follow the maker's and carrier's instructions. If someone else will collect or receive the vehicle, ask whether an authority letter is needed. If you plan to re-register it in Gujarat, check with your own regional transport office.
What is the cost of bike transport from Hyderabad to Ahmedabad?
The planning guide is ₹6,500–₹8,500 for a commuter bike or scooter and ₹8,500–₹10,000 for a heavy bike. The quote follows the actual make, model, condition, carrier and collection and delivery requirements. The vehicle has its own dispatch and arrival window.
Which truck size should I book for a 2 BHK on this route?
Send the complete packed inventory rather than choosing only by bedroom count. Ask for the proposed usable body dimensions, load capacity and packing and securing plan. Compare a dedicated option with available shared space where dates suit; a 14 ft or 17 ft label alone does not prove that your furniture fits.
When should I enquire about delivery around Ahmedabad festivals?
Enquire early and confirm the receiver, keys, society hours and vehicle availability before fixing a date. For Navratri, Diwali or Uttarayan dates, check the actual property arrangements and current local advisories. There is no universal closure or guaranteed quiet delivery hour for the whole city.
Can liquor, a gas cylinder or fuel go with the household goods?
Keep filled LPG cylinders, fuels and flammable materials out of the ordinary household shipment and ask your distributor about the gas connection. Gujarat regulates liquor import, transport and possession, with authorised exceptions. Do not assume ordinary household transport or a GIFT City address grants permission; confirm any authorised arrangement with the state authorities and carrier.
