Moving to another flat in the same Masab Tank building, a nearby colony or across Hyderabad? Tell us which kind of move it is before booking a vehicle. Carrying goods between floors can need a crew without a road trip, while the next building may need a loading point, vehicle and carrying at both ends.
Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers (ALPM) handles house, office, shop, student-room and vehicle moving enquiries in Masab Tank and nearby addresses. Local household starting guides are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. Send both addresses, floors, access photos and your goods list through the form or call +91 94671 86002 for an estimate based on the work you need.

Masab Tank Packers and Movers Charges: Local Household Starting Guides
Local shifting charges in Masab Tank depend on what is moved and how it can leave the building. These are indicative starting guides for a household move from or within Masab Tank, not a fixed tariff. The written quote follows your inventory, the floors involved, whether a lift can carry goods, how much packing you want done and the distance between pickup and delivery.
Local household starting guides for Masab Tank and nearby Hyderabad addresses
Home size
Starting guide
What usually pushes the quote higher
1 BHK
From ₹5,500
Upper floors without a goods lift, a double bed or bulky wardrobes, full room-by-room packing, a longer drive
2 BHK
From ₹8,500
More furniture to dismantle, appliances to protect, a long carry from the flat door to the vehicle, kitchen and fragile packing
3 BHK
From ₹12,500
Larger inventory, beds and wardrobes to dismantle, stair carrying, two-stage loading when the vehicle cannot stand close to the entrance
What the base figure should cover
For a full packing and moving scope, the base covers packing labour and materials, loading, road transport, unloading and any furniture dismantling and reassembly agreed in writing, each counted once. Narrower scopes list only the work they include. GST is shown separately as applicable to your booking. Any other assessed work, such as a long carry, stair carrying or extra protection for fragile items, is written as included, as an extra with its amount, or as not applicable. Nothing is added automatically for stairs or fragile goods, and nothing already in the base is charged again as an extra. Unpacking and placement are agreed by extent, for example which rooms and whether furniture is positioned.
How to read the starting figures
A starting figure fits a move with a clear route out of the building, an agreed packing level and a short local drive. Stairs, heavy furniture, full packing and a loading point some distance from the entrance are the usual reasons a quote sits above it. Each is discussed at assessment so that it does not appear for the first time on moving day.
What to send for a firm quote
Pickup address with the building name, the road or lane it faces and the gate you actually use
Floor number and whether a lift can carry furniture
Delivery address with the same details
A room-wise list or a short video of the rooms, including wardrobes, beds, the refrigerator and the washing machine
The sizes of the largest pieces, and whether you want carry-only help, loading and transport, or full packing
Same Building, Next Building or Across the City: Choosing the Right Move
House shifting around Masab Tank falls into four shapes, and each needs different work. Choosing the shape first stops you paying for a whole truck when a carrying crew is enough, or booking a carrying crew when the goods actually have to travel on a road.
Move shapes and what each one needs
Move shape
Typical work
What drives the quote
Same building, different floor or flat
Carrying between floors, protecting stair edges, lift doors and walls. Usually no road vehicle unless goods leave the building or go to storage
Floors, lift or stairs, bulky pieces, packing and dismantling wanted
Neighbouring building or next colony
Carry to a loading point, load, a short road leg, unload, carry again at the other end
Carry distance at each end, item count, stairs at either building, vehicle matched to inventory and standing point
Elsewhere in Hyderabad
Full loading, a longer city drive, unloading and placement
Distance, floors at both ends, packing level, waiting time
To another city
Packing and loading for a road journey, with vehicle and date planned for the route
Route, inventory, shared or dedicated vehicle
Carry-only, transport only, loading and transport, or full packing
Separately from the shape of the move, decide how much of the work you want handled. These are scopes, not vehicle modes, and a carry-only quote is not a cheaper version of a whole-truck quote. It is a different job.
Scope levels
Scope
Who does what
Suits
Carry-only
The household packs and protects its own goods. Our crew carries them between floors or to a nearby point
Moves inside one building, or a short shift where the vehicle is arranged separately
Transport only
The road leg is booked. You or your nominated helpers pack, load and unload, unless crew is separately agreed
Households with their own helpers and packed goods
Loading and transport
The household packs. The crew dismantles agreed furniture, loads, drives and unloads
Households that have time to pack and want the heavy work and the vehicle handled
Full packing and moving
We pack, dismantle where the design permits, load, move and unload, with unpacking and basic placement if agreed
Busy households, fragile inventories and tight handover dates
If you are unsure which row describes your move, send the two addresses and a short video of the rooms. The right scope is usually clear once the carry from each door to the vehicle is known.
Building Access in Masab Tank: Landmark, Goods Entry and Loading Point
If you describe your address as near the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University in Masab Tank, add your own building name, door number and entrance pin. The university’s College of Fine Arts and School of Planning and Architecture are local landmarks, but a driver still needs the entrance for your goods. Share a photo of the approach and identify the assessed stopping point; a nearby landmark does not reserve a place to load.
Three different things
The landmark tells the driver roughly where the building is.
The goods entry is the gate, door or passage through which furniture can actually be taken in or out of that building.
The safe loading point is the spot where the vehicle can stand and goods can be staged without blocking the road, a shop frontage or residents' access.
These can be three different places, and sometimes a short carry apart. That carry is part of the job and is priced, so it is better to identify it before the move than to find it when the vehicle arrives. For flats above shops or offices, loading is kept away from the shop entrance and staged goods stay out of the walkway.
AC Guards, Chintal Basthi and the junction side
If your address uses AC Guards, Chintal Basthi, Shyam Rao Nagar Colony, Veer Nagar or Masab Tank Junction, add the actual lane and building to that name. A junction or main-road landmark can help the driver find the area, but the goods entrance and permitted stopping point still need to be identified.
Main-road frontage or a home inside the colony
Show the final turn, gate and carrying path in a short video. If a vehicle cannot stand at the door, compare the assessed carry or transfer options and their complete amount. Do not assume a side lane, shop entrance or open pavement is available for staging. The plan must leave neighbours, shops and passing residents a usable way through.
Permission and moving hours
Ask the owner, association or building contact about move-in or move-out notice, any NOC or no-dues process, lift use and a vehicle pass. For an office above shops, check both the shared entrance and the unloading appointment at the new premises. Morning, evening or holiday work depends on permission and availability for that booking.
Local Shifting from Masab Tank to Nearby Areas and Across Hyderabad
Give the full receiving address when you enquire for Masab Tank to Gachibowli, HITEC City, Ameerpet or another local destination. Use both actual pins for the road distance and approach; a locality pair does not fix the trip length, packing time or delivery appointment.
Receiving-side checks for a local move from Masab Tank
Destination
What to plan before pickup
Mehdipatnam, Humayun Nagar, AC Guards or Lakdi-ka-pul
The exact entrance, floors and permitted loading or unloading spot; distinguish a carry-only job from a short road move.
Banjara Hills, Ameerpet or Begumpet
The road and building, furniture fit, lift or stairs and a receiver available for the agreed arrival window.
Tolichowki or Shaikpet
Last-turn directions, the goods gate and the carrying distance between vehicle and door at the new address.
Manikonda, Narsingi or Kokapet
Keys, actual move-in hours, service-lift reservation where required and a usable approach to the receiving property.
Gachibowli, HITEC City, Madhapur or Kondapur
Allow road travel between both building appointments and check the actual tower, goods entrance and unloading slot.
Kukatpally, Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar or LB Nagar
A cross-city travel allowance plus the full loading and carrying plan; do not set a completion time from distance alone.
Keep the Shared Staircase, Lift and Entrance Clear
If your Masab Tank move uses a staircase, lift, gate or lane shared with neighbours, a short plan, agreed before the date, covers the points below.
What to settle before a move that uses a shared passage
What to settle
Why it matters
Who confirms
Measured pieces at both ends: the packed piece and, where it can be separated, each panel, in width, height and depth, against door openings, lift cabin, stair turns and landings
A piece that clears the pickup doorway may not clear the delivery landing
You send sizes or photos. ALPM compares them at assessment
Staging spot, inside the flat or beside the vehicle, protected and keeping residents' access clear
Goods left on landings block neighbours and risk damage
Agreed between you and the ALPM coordinator
Lift booking and gate: whether the lift can be reserved or protected for goods, for how long, and which gate is used
The carry time and the crew size depend on it
You or your representative, with the building contact or association
Exact stop location for the vehicle, named as a spot and not as a landmark
It sets the carry distance and keeps the road and shop frontages clear
You, with the ALPM coordinator
Moving window the building accepts
Lift and gate use may be limited to certain hours
You confirm with the building. The agreed window is written into the quote
No automatic permission
A lift slot, hoisting or staging goods on a road is never assumed. If the building or the road does not allow it, the plan changes, and the quote changes in writing with it. Where goods go down a shared staircase, the crew moves in turns so that residents keep a clear way past.
If the path or the slot changes
Stop and tell the ALPM coordinator before more goods are moved.
Before loading, choose a workable and permitted alternative carried out by a qualified operator, a new slot, or leave the affected piece out of the job.
After loading, goods are not abandoned or dropped from the job. They go to a later agreed unloading time or to a confirmed holding arrangement, as described under storage below.
Any change in scope or cost is written down before the extra work begins.
Carry-Only Inside One Building Versus a Short Road Move
A carry-only job inside one building and a short move to the next building are different jobs, and both are easy to book wrongly. In the first there may be no road vehicle at all. In the second there is a carry at each end plus a road leg. The table names who is responsible for every leg, so no leg is left for moving day to sort out.
Who is responsible for each leg
Leg
One building, floor or flat change
Next building, short road leg
Packing and protection
Household packs unless full packing is booked. Crew protects stair edges, lift doors and walls
Same. Packing level and room labelling are agreed before the date
Measuring the path
Household sends piece sizes. ALPM checks them against doors, lift and stairs on both floors
Same, at both buildings
Carry from the flat to the staging point
ALPM crew, through the agreed passage, staged where residents' access stays clear
ALPM crew, to the agreed loading point at the first building
Road leg
None, unless goods leave the building or go to storage
ALPM vehicle and driver, matched to the inventory and the standing point
Carry at the other end
ALPM crew, up or down to the new flat in the same building
ALPM crew, from the vehicle's stop to the new flat through the second building's goods entry
Lift, gate and building approval
Household or its representative, with one building contact
Household or its representative, with both buildings. A receiver with keys and authority is present at the new address
Cost counted
Carry-only quote by floors, lift or stairs, bulky pieces and packing wanted
Carry at each end plus the road leg, each stated once in the written scope
Planning example A: one building, second floor to fifth floor
This is a hypothetical example to show the sequence. It is not an actual job, time or invoice. Inventory: a 2 BHK with a double bed, a wardrobe, a sofa, a dining table, a refrigerator, a washing machine and about thirty cartons the family has packed. The building has one lift and one staircase.
The household sends the sizes of the bed, wardrobe, sofa and table, packed and, where they can be separated, as panels, along with the door, lift cabin and stair-turn sizes on both floors.
ALPM compares them. A piece that does not clear the lift cabin or a stair turn is dismantled only if its design permits, or another option is chosen before work starts.
The household confirms with the building contact whether the lift can be reserved for goods and for how long. Nothing is assumed.
The quote is carry-only. It lists the floors, lift or stairs and bulky pieces, and states whether packing and dismantling are included, extra or not applicable.
On the day, the crew protects the lift and stair edges, stages goods inside the flat rather than on landings, and moves them in turns.
All goods are carried into the new flat and placed safely within the accepted lift slot first. Unpacking and room setup follow later.
The household checks goods against the list and photos.
Planning example B: next building, short road leg
Also hypothetical, with no real job, time or invoice. The same 2 BHK inventory moves from a third-floor flat to a first-floor flat in the next building.
The household gives both addresses with the full building name, lane and gate used, and the goods entry and loading point are identified at each end, including any carry between them.
The vehicle is chosen from the packed dimensions of the inventory and where it can stand, not from the BHK size alone.
The household arranges any lift or gate permission at both buildings and names a receiver at the new building who holds the keys and has authority to accept goods.
The quote lists the carry at pickup, the road leg, the unloading and the carry at delivery, with the base cost once, GST on its own line and other assessed work stated.
Loading follows a safe load layout, and the fit of the sofa, bed and wardrobe is confirmed in advance, not discovered on a landing.
At delivery, all goods are unloaded and placed safely within the agreed unloading time before rooms are set up.
If the slot or path changes after loading, the goods go to the new agreed unloading time or to a confirmed holding arrangement. They are not left behind.
Furniture Moving: Check the Fit Before You Book
Doorways, lift cabins and stair turns can limit whether a large furniture piece can be moved. For each large piece, measure the full packed piece and, where it can come apart, each separated panel, in width, height and depth. Compare those sizes with the door opening, the lift cabin, the stair turn and the landing at both ends. A sofa or wardrobe that clears the pickup doorway may not clear the delivery stair turn.
A smaller truck does not make a piece fit through a stairwell. Vehicle size and stair fit are separate questions, and each is checked on its own.
Dismantling, only where the design permits
Beds, modular wardrobes and TV units made to be taken apart are dismantled when they cannot pass as they are.
A piece that is not designed to come apart is not forced apart. It may need a different route, a qualified alternative, or to stay out of the job.
Panels are protected, and each panel is labelled to show the piece and the room it belongs to.
Screws, hinges and fittings are bagged and kept with their piece. Adhesive tape is not put directly on a finish.
Built-in carpentry fixed to the wall is not promised to come out undamaged. It is checked at assessment and, where it has to be removed, is a separate carpentry scope.
If a piece will not fit
Before loading, the options are a workable and permitted alternative by a qualified operator, a new slot, or leaving that piece out of the job. After the piece is loaded, it is not abandoned or dropped from the job. It goes to a later agreed unloading time or to a confirmed holding arrangement.
Packing, Protection and Appliance Handling
Packing, loading, unloading and unpacking can be booked together or separately. Each scope is written into the quote, so you know who packs what.
Fragile goods and surfaces
Glassware, crockery and decorative items need cushioning (paper or bubble wrap) and rigid protection, such as sturdy cartons, board or a crate where one is assessed.
Sofas, mattresses and wooden surfaces are covered with padding and covers. Stretch wrap protects a finish and keeps loose parts together, but it is not impact protection.
Before drawers and cupboard doors are secured, heavy, breakable or loose contents are removed or packed separately as agreed, so that nothing shifts or swings in transit. Wrap is not pulled tight over polished finishes.
Cartons for books, utensils and general goods are labelled by room.
Cartons you pack yourself
You can pack your own cartons. Ask beforehand how self-packed cartons are accepted, whether they are inspected, how they are handled and whether cover applies to their contents, and get the answers in writing.
Appliances
Preparation and restart for each appliance follow its model manual. Defrost and empty a refrigerator as the manual describes, and let it stand and restart as the manual says.
If your washing machine model uses transit bolts or locks, they must be correctly fitted for transport and removed before first use at the new home.
Split air conditioners, geysers and anything connected to gas, electricity or plumbing are uninstalled and reinstalled by a qualified technician you arrange. Carpentry and IT work are separate scopes too. We pack and move the equipment itself.
Unpacking and placement
Unpacking and basic placement are separate scope. Tell us at booking which rooms and how much, so that crew and time are planned.
Office Shifting and Shop Shifting Cost in Masab Tank
Office shifting is quoted from what is being moved and how it leaves the premises. The guide below is for local moves within Hyderabad. It is not an intercity guide and it is not a per-employee rate.
Hyderabad local office shifting guide
Scope
Indicative guide
Some office goods, such as a few desks, chairs, cabinets and cartons
₹4,500 – ₹9,500
Complete office shifting within Hyderabad
₹6,000 – ₹19,000
These are broad asset-and-access guides, not a price ceiling for a large office. Server racks, safes, large printers and plotters, heavy machinery and specialised equipment need an assessment of the assets and access at both ends.
What shapes an office or shop quote
The volume of furniture, files and stock, and how much needs dismantling
Floors and lift availability at both premises
Whether the move must fit around business hours, a shop's opening time or timings set by building management
How much packing your staff do and how much we do
Waiting time if the new premises are not ready when the vehicle arrives
Assets, authority and IT
Moves are run from a list of actual assets, with an ID, count, condition and packed size for each, and a named person with authority to release them and a named receiver at the new premises.
IT backup, disconnection, reconnection, testing, restart and the required power arrangements are handled by your IT team or an agreed qualified vendor. We pack and move the equipment and do not set a mandatory restart timeline for IT systems.
Personal items, laptops and files stay in the custody of their owner, who chooses whether to carry them. Business assets follow your authority. Passwords and file contents are never written on labels.
For shops, decide early whether stock moves in cartons or on shelving, and keep stock movement separate from fixture removal so the work does not overlap.
Label cartons and furniture by receiving section so they can be placed correctly. Unload and place all goods safely within the agreed unloading time before assembly or IT setup.
Few Items Moving, Part Loads, Shared and Dedicated Vehicles
These terms describe different things, and mixing them up leads to the wrong quote.
What each term means
Term
What it means
Few items
The size of your inventory, such as a wardrobe, a refrigerator, a bed and a few cartons, or a student's room. It describes what you are moving and says nothing about how the goods travel
Shared vehicle
Your goods travel with other loads. It can carry a whole home where capacity and dates fit. Consolidation does not need a literally full truck, and the departure date depends on matching
Part load
A portion of shared capacity. It is not a third mode
Dedicated vehicle
A vehicle allocated to your goods alone, with agreed windows. Confirm the allocated vehicle and agreed pickup and delivery windows at booking
Transport only
A scope, not a mode. Only the road leg is booked, and it can be done in a shared or a dedicated vehicle
Few-item and part-load jobs are priced by the number and size of items, the floors and lift access, and the distance, not by BHK size. We do not publish one starting figure for them, because a wardrobe on a ground floor and the same wardrobe on a third floor without a lift are different jobs. A few-item move inside one building is a carry-only job and has nothing to do with sharing a vehicle.
What to send
A list or photos of each item, with approximate sizes for large ones
Floor and lift details at pickup and delivery
Your preferred date and how flexible it is, because flexibility can make a shared or part-load option practical
Any sharing of vehicle space with another customer's goods is arranged only where the schedule allows, and is agreed with you before the date.
Student room, PG and bachelor shifting
For a room near the JNAFAU campus or another Masab Tank address, list your own cot, desk, appliances and cartons separately from shared belongings. Give hostel or landlord notice and the keys needed at the next room. If only a floor or flat changes, ask for a carry-only scope; if goods use a road, include that leg and both carries.
Show drawing boards, architectural models, frames and portfolios separately in the item list. Agree protection and support for each shape, keeping delicate models and framed work away from pressure from other goods. The photos help assess suitable packing and space; a student-room label does not define the load.
Moving Out of Hyderabad: Intercity Guides and Car and Bike Transport
Many Masab Tank households also leave the city. The figures below are indicative Hyderabad corridor references for a 2 BHK household. They are not the distance from a Masab Tank gate. Your pickup address, destination, full inventory and vehicle all affect routing and the final quote.

₹13,000 – ₹16,000
A closed carrier is quoted separately and is never assumed. A vehicle has its own calendar, condition record and pickup point, separate from the household schedule, so plan it as a second booking coordinated with the first.
Confirm the exact model, whether the carrier type you want is available, the collection and delivery points, and the loading and unloading scope and its cost.
Photograph the vehicle on all sides, and record the odometer reading, keys and accessories at handover.
Fuel and battery instructions follow the maker's and the carrier's instructions. There is no universal rule.
Ask whether any RTO or NOC paperwork applies to your vehicle and route, and have it confirmed rather than assumed.
Carry documents, cash, jewellery and medicines yourself. Ask which items the actual carrier declines to have inside the vehicle, and do not leave unsafe or heavy goods in it. Ask the operator how declined goods should be handled; do not add unsafe or prohibited goods to the household load.
For other destinations, see the Bangalore route guide, Chennai moving details or Pune relocation page. Request an estimate using your actual Masab Tank pickup and receiving address. Packing time and shared matching before dispatch add calendar time rather than automatically creating another packing fee.
Book Around a Lease Handover, Work Hours and Rain
Share the time you must vacate and the first time the next property can receive goods. For a student room, office move or family flat, a fixed handover matters as much as the road journey. Ask about availability early for weekends, month-end and festival dates, giving an alternative where possible.
Check the actual lift, gate and moving hours at both ends before choosing a morning, evening, Sunday or holiday appointment. If a slot changes, reconfirm the receiver, keys, carrying route and any technician work. Obtain the applicable advance, cancellation and rescheduling terms before payment.
In rain, keep cartons off wet ground and furniture dry before wrapping, with a clear carrying route that does not block shared access. Revise an unsafe appointment rather than using extra plastic as a substitute for dry contents. Keep documents, medicines, valuables, keys, chargers and first-night essentials with you.
When the New Home Is Not Ready: Waiting, Transfer and Storage
When dates do not line up
If you must vacate before the new home is ready, storage can be assessed. Holding is assessed and quoted separately from the move. Before anything goes into holding, the following are confirmed in writing:
The named operator and the location
Who has custody, and who can access the goods
Item IDs and count, and the actual condition at handover
Duration, the rate, the exit terms and how the goods are redelivered
Transfer of loaded goods
If loaded goods cannot reach the delivery point, they can be transferred to another vehicle or location only where that is assessed as permitted and workable. The operator, the location, the crew for carrying, unloading and reloading, and the scope and cost of the local leg are stated once. Item IDs, count and condition are recorded, and the change of custody is noted.
Timing a local move
A compact flat is usually planned as a single-day job when goods are packed and access at both ends is clear. Larger homes, full packing and stair-heavy moves may need packing the day before or a longer working day. The plan is confirmed at assessment so that your handover or check-out time is not left to chance. Share your date as soon as your lease end or handover is fixed, and say if it can move by a day or two.
How to Compare Movers and Packers in Masab Tank
Published ranges for movers and packers in Masab Tank vary widely, partly because they blend different distances, scopes and packing levels into one band. Give every provider the same item list, the same floors and the same scope, then compare the quotes line by line, not by the first number.
What to compare between quotations
What to compare
What to ask
What a clear answer looks like
Scope and crew
Who packs, loads, drives, unloads and unpacks?
Each step names who does it, including the road leg and the unloading
Basis
Was the quote based on an inventory, photos, a video or a visit?
It refers to your actual items and floors
Access
How will the goods entry, lift and loading point be handled?
The provider asks about the gate, the lift and where the vehicle will stand
Packing
What materials and protection are included?
Cushioning and rigid protection for fragile items are stated, not implied
Base cost, GST and extras
What is the base, what is the GST line, and what else is charged?
The base appears once, GST is a declared line, and each assessed extra is included, priced or not applicable
Vehicle
Which vehicle and why?
The choice rests on the packed inventory, not only the BHK size
Transit cover and paperwork
What is offered, at what cost, with what exclusions? What bill and quote do I receive?
Terms in writing before the move, and a written quote before and a bill after
A simple rule for choosing the vehicle
Compare the usable cargo volume and the rated payload of the actual vehicle assigned with the packed volume and weight of your goods, and check that the largest packed pieces fit its loading opening and its body. Ask for the vehicle type and its rated payload in writing. A bigger body is not the right answer if the lane or the staging spot cannot take it, and a smaller one is not safe if the load is over its rated payload. A provider that asks detailed questions about your building before quoting is usually planning the work, not just pricing it.
ALPM works from an inventory, access details and a written quote, with an agreed moving window and a handover check, from its base in Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad.
Why choose ALPM for the enquiry?
The registered business is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, with published GSTIN 36FDRPM0957B1ZC and registered office at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad. Confirm the named booking contact, the company carrying out each leg, the agreed scope and the payable amount against the inventory supplied to other movers.
How a Masab Tank Move Works, From Quote to Handover
Steps
Share the pickup and delivery addresses with gate details, floors, lift availability, your date and a list or video of the goods, by the quote form or on +91 94671 86002.
Receive a written quote that states the scope, the vehicle type and the conditions that apply, such as stair carrying or dismantling.
Confirm the scope, the date, the moving window and the access arrangements for both buildings.
Packing takes place on the agreed day, which can be the day before when a lot is being packed.
Loading follows the inventory and a safe load layout.
The vehicle travels to the delivery address. For intercity moves, timing follows the route guide, counted from dispatch.
At delivery, goods are unloaded and placed, and then unpacking and setting up follow if booked.
Check the goods against the list and report any concern as set out below.
Loading and unloading order
Weight, stability, fragile-item protection and safe unloading access decide the loading order, so heavy items are not automatically loaded first. If you need certain things first at the new home, say so at assessment. A first-room priority is used only where the safe loading and unloading sequence allows it. At delivery, all goods are first unloaded and placed safely within the agreed unloading time. Unpacking and setting up rooms come after that, and goods are not left on the truck so a room can be finished first.
Before dispatch and before unloading
Confirm that the person receiving the goods has the keys and the authority to accept them, that any property permission the building requires is in place, that the path is usable and that the slot has been accepted. Recheck these if the expected arrival time changes.
Condition records and transit cover
Photograph furniture, appliances and any item with existing marks before wrapping, and keep the inventory list. At delivery, check the goods promptly, ask the crew to help with fragile and heavy items, photograph labels, and report any concern as soon as you notice it. How a claim is made, and any time limit, are those written in your booking terms. Where you want transit cover, we can help arrange it. The cover, the premium and the exclusions are shown in writing before the move, and cover is not assumed to be part of the quote. Declare high-value items in advance, and carry cash, jewellery and important papers yourself.
Documents
A written quote before the move and a bill afterwards
For office moves, the billing details your finance team needs
For vehicle transport, the registration certificate, the insurance copy, a photo ID and the keys
Any permission or lift booking that your building asks for, arranged by you or your representative with the building
FAQs About Moving in Masab Tank
How much do packers and movers charge in Masab Tank, and is the starting guide a fixed price?
Local household starting guides are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. They are indicative starting points, not a fixed tariff. The final quote depends on your inventory, floors, lift or stair access, packing level and distance. The base covers the scope written on the quote once, GST is a separate line, and any other assessed work is shown as included, extra with an amount, or not applicable. The figure is confirmed in writing before the move.
Can you help if I am only moving within the same building?
Yes. A carry-only job inside one building can be quoted without a road vehicle, based on floors, lift or stair access, bulky items, and any packing or dismantling you want. Your household packs, and the ALPM crew carries and protects the passage. You or your representative confirm the lift and the moving window with the building. A vehicle is added only if goods are leaving the building or going to storage.
What is the difference between a goods entry and a loading point, and what if the passage is shared?
The goods entry is the gate, door or passage through which furniture can be taken in or out of the building. The loading point is where the vehicle can stand and goods can be staged without blocking the road, a shop frontage or residents. They can be different places, and the carry between them is priced. For a shared staircase or lift, agree the staging spot, who confirms the lift and gate, the exact stop for the vehicle and the moving window before the date. A lift slot, hoisting or road-side staging is never assumed to be allowed.
Will my sofa, wardrobe or bed fit, and do they need dismantling?
That is decided by measurement, not by the type of furniture. Measure the full packed piece and, where it comes apart, each panel in width, height and depth. Compare them with the door opening, lift cabin, stair turn and landing at both the pickup and the delivery address. A smaller truck does not make a piece fit through a stairwell. Dismantling is done only where the design permits, with panels protected and labelled and fittings bagged with the piece. If a piece does not fit before loading, the options are a feasible and lawful alternative by a qualified operator, a new slot or leaving it out of the job.
Do you move offices and shops in Masab Tank, and what does it cost?
Yes. The Hyderabad local office guide is ₹4,500 to ₹9,500 for some office goods and ₹6,000 to ₹19,000 for a complete office. It is not a per-employee rate. The move runs from a list of actual assets with IDs, counts, condition and packed sizes, with a named person authorised to release them and a receiver at the new premises. Servers, safes and industrial equipment are quoted only after an explicit assessment. IT disconnection, reconnection, testing and restart stay with a qualified person you agree on.
Can I move just a few items, and is that the same as a shared vehicle?
You can move a few items, but it is not the same thing as a shared vehicle. Few items describes your inventory. Shared and dedicated describe how the goods travel, and a part load is a portion of shared capacity. Few-item and part-load jobs are priced by the number and size of items, floors, lift access and distance. Send a list or photos with floor details and your date flexibility. Sharing vehicle space with another customer's goods is agreed with you before the date.
How should I prepare a washing machine, refrigerator or air conditioner?
Follow the manual for your model. Empty and defrost a refrigerator as the manual says, and let it stand and restart as directed. If your washing machine uses transit bolts or locks, they must be fitted correctly for the move and removed before you use it again. Split air conditioners, geysers and any gas, electrical or plumbing connection are uninstalled and reinstalled by a qualified technician you arrange. We pack and move the equipment.
Is storage available if my dates do not match?
Storage can be assessed when you have to vacate before the new home is ready, but it is never assumed to be part of a moving quote. Before goods are held, the operator, the location, who has custody, the item IDs and count, the condition, access, duration, rate, exit terms and redelivery are confirmed in writing. Confirm the arrangement and charges before goods leave.
How long does a local move take?
A compact flat is usually planned as a single-day job when goods are packed and access at both ends is clear. Larger homes, full packing and stair-heavy moves may need packing the day before or a longer working day. The plan is confirmed at assessment, along with the moving window the buildings accept. At delivery, all goods are unloaded and placed within the accepted slot before rooms are set up.
What does it cost to move from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, Pune or Visakhapatnam, and how long does it take?
For a 2 BHK, the corridor guides are ₹16,000 to ₹25,000 shared or ₹23,500 to ₹33,000 dedicated to Vijayawada, ₹19,500 to ₹29,500 shared or ₹28,000 to ₹39,000 dedicated to Pune, and ₹20,000 to ₹30,500 shared or ₹28,500 to ₹40,000 dedicated to Visakhapatnam. These are indicative city corridor references, and your pickup address, inventory and vehicle affect the quote. Timing is counted from dispatch: Vijayawada dedicated is same or next day and provisional, Pune is 2 to 3 days dedicated or 4 to 6 days shared, and Visakhapatnam is 2 to 4 days dedicated or 5 to 7 days shared. Packing and shared-load consolidation before departure add time before dispatch.
Can you transport my bike or car?
Yes. For Hyderabad to Vijayawada, a scooter up to 150 cc is ₹4,000 to ₹5,000, a motorcycle above 150 cc is ₹5,000 to ₹6,000, a hatchback on an open carrier is ₹8,500 to ₹10,500 and a sedan or SUV carrier is ₹10,500 to ₹13,000. For Visakhapatnam the figures are ₹5,000 to ₹6,000, ₹6,000 to ₹7,500, ₹10,500 to ₹13,000 and ₹13,000 to ₹16,000. A closed carrier is quoted separately. Confirm the exact model, the carrier, the collection and delivery points and the handover record with photos, odometer reading, keys and accessories. Ask the carrier about fuel, battery and any RTO or NOC paperwork rather than assuming.
Is my move covered against damage, and what documents do I need?
Where you want transit cover, we can help arrange it, and its terms, premium and exclusions are shown in writing before the move. It is not assumed to be part of the quote. Keep photos and the inventory list, check goods promptly at delivery and report any concern as soon as you notice it. How a claim is made, and any time limit, follow your booking terms. You also need a written quote and later a bill. For vehicles, keep the registration certificate, insurance copy, photo ID and keys ready, and carry cash, jewellery, medicines and important papers yourself.
Do you take moving enquiries from Mehdipatnam, AC Guards or Banjara Hills too?
Yes. Send the full pickup and delivery addresses, actual goods entrance, floor, inventory and preferred date for an assessed enquiry. Nearby names do not mean one common gate, vehicle route or set of property rules.
My building faces the Masab Tank main road. Where can the vehicle stand?
Send an entrance pin and approach photo so a permitted stopping point can be assessed. If a longer carry or local transfer is needed, confirm the handling, people responsible and full amount before moving day. A nearby side lane or pavement is not automatically available for loading.
What will Masab Tank to Gachibowli or HITEC City shifting cost?
Local household starting guides are ₹5,500 for a 1 BHK, ₹8,500 for a 2 BHK and ₹12,500 for a 3 BHK. The actual quote uses the inventory, packing, floors, furniture work, carrying distance and both addresses. Confirm the receiving building’s access and appointment rather than using one route distance for all homes.
Can I book one student room or move architectural models and frames?
Yes. List the furniture, appliances, cartons, portfolios, drawing boards, models and frames you actually want moved. Show delicate or awkward pieces in photos so protection and loading space can be assessed. A same-building move may use carry-only handling; a road move includes the vehicle and carrying at both ends.
Who arranges the NOC, lift booking and Sunday permission?
Ask the owner or association which notice, permission, no-dues clearance, lift reservation and vehicle or crew information it requires. Confirm each property separately and provide the instructions through the booking contact. A Sunday or holiday enquiry depends on those hours and crew and vehicle availability.
