• 14 ft closed truck: The most common choice for a 1 BHK or a small 2 BHK.
• 17 ft / 19 ft closed truck: Assess for a well-furnished home, checking actual item dimensions and legal payload before allocating space.

Packing and Delivery: When a Same-Day Move Is Practical

1. Survey and quote (a day or two before): Our supervisor checks your items on video call or visits in person, then sends a written quote.
2. Agreed packing slot: Fix the arrival and loading window around the assessed inventory, building rules and current permitted movement for the assigned vehicle.
3. Packing and loading: Kitchen items and crockery go in cartons with paper and bubble wrap, furniture gets corrugated sheets on the corners, TV and fridge get extra padding. Every carton is labelled by room.
4. Permitted road journey: Use the assigned corridor and update the receiver on the arrival window; traffic, rest stops and restrictions can change it.
5. Unloading and setting up: Complete the agreed room placement and reassembly, then check item counts and condition before signing.

A large home or a restricted building slot may be better planned over 1–2 days including packing and delivery. A compact load may finish on the same day when the work and access align; agree the actual schedule rather than assuming it from road distance.

Kanwar Yatra season (July–August)

During Kanwar Yatra in the Sawan month, temporary vehicle restrictions or diversions can affect the Delhi–Meerut region. If your shift falls in this window, either move before it starts or be ready for a longer route. Check the current police order for the actual route, vehicle category and date before agreeing dispatch. Do not use a fixed restriction window from a previous year.

Areas like Sadar Bazar, Begum Bridge, Abu Lane, Lalkurti and parts of Shastri Nagar and Brahmpuri have tight lanes, overhead wires and shops on both sides. Compare the actual door-to-door commute from a property near Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul or Modipuram: walk or feeder journey, station access, interchange and the final trip to your office. Try the journey on a working day before choosing the flat. A station name alone does not establish the daily commute time or the rent you will pay.

For the goods delivery, share the home’s complete address and gate rather than just the nearest Namo Bharat station. Passenger connectivity and a truck’s permitted unloading route are separate plans.
