A shared load suits a smaller setup, cartons or a few appliances when the receiving date is flexible. Allow around 6–9 days for consolidation, departure and other deliveries. Keep each consignment labelled and ask whether intermediate handling is part of the selected service.

For a large 3 BHK or villa, a dedicated assessment is generally more practical than trying to fit the load into shared space. Compare the full inventory and service scope rather than the BHK label alone.

Packing TVs, Mandirs, Wooden Furniture and Kitchen Goods

TVs and work equipment

Back up work files and photograph cable connections. Screens need non-scratch protection, supported corners and a suitable outer box; exposed electronic components may need anti-static protection. Keep the base, fittings and cables labelled with the item.

Furniture and heavy decorative pieces

List beds, wardrobes, glass tops and marble mandirs during the survey. Dismantle suitable furniture, protect polished surfaces and label hardware pouches. Heavy or unusually fragile pieces may need custom crating and a separate lifting plan; measure the lift and doorway at both homes.

Kitchen cartons and dry packing

Wrap glasses and plates individually with suitable cushioning and dividers. Drain and dry appliances before wrapping so moisture is not trapped inside. Keep fragile cartons protected from heavy loads, and restrain large furniture and appliances against movement on highway bends.

Photograph the vehicle, note the odometer and existing marks, and remove loose belongings before handover. Keep RC, insurance and applicable PUC copies ready, and follow the selected carrier’s fuel and battery instructions. Do not assume a fixed fuel quantity is a national transport rule.

For a society on Vasna–Bhayli Road, Gotri or New Alkapuri, check the actual gate-entry process, unloading hours and service-lift booking with the association. Do not assume every building follows the same rule.

Bangalore Pickup: Society Permission, Lift and Truck Access

For Whitefield, Bellandur, Sarjapur Road, HSR Layout, Electronic City or another pickup area, give the exact gate, floor and parking position. Reserve the building’s permitted lift slot and arrange the move-out gate pass before the crew arrives.

Check entry height and the final lane before assigning a container. Where the highway vehicle cannot reach, a smaller collection vehicle or extra carrying may be needed. Include that handling and price in the quote, and plan departure around the applicable vehicle and road restrictions for the moving date.

Best Time to Shift from Bangalore to Vadodara

• June to September: Monsoon is heavy in the Belagavi–Kolhapur–Satara belt and in south Gujarat around Valsad and Navsari. Heavy rain can delay progress. Protect moisture-sensitive items and keep a buffer around the receiving date.
• Navratri and Diwali (around September–November): Vadodara is famous for its Navratri garba, and the city is busy for nine nights. Check vehicle availability and the actual society or neighbourhood access around holiday dates.
• April–May: School admissions and appraisal-season transfers. Vadodara is very hot in these months, so choose an unloading slot that suits the heat and building rules, and keep medicines and heat-sensitive essentials with you.
• Month end: Rent agreements in Bangalore usually end on the last date, so the last 4–5 days of every month are the busiest. If your dates are flexible, shifting mid-month is easier and sometimes a little cheaper.

• Liquor of any kind – Gujarat prohibition law
• Petrol, diesel, kerosene, paint thinner, acids and other inflammable liquids
• Firecrackers left over from Diwali
• Plants without a separately assessed transport arrangement; several days in a closed container can harm them

Please keep cash, gold, important files like property papers and your passport, and your laptop with you. Do not send them in the truck.

Karnataka to Gujarat: Utilities and Vehicle Paperwork

Electricity, LPG and address updates

Settle the Bangalore electricity bill with the landlord or association and photograph the meter reading. At the new Vadodara home, check the existing connection and any name-transfer process with the electricity provider. A tenant should not assume moving out means surrendering the owner’s meter.

Arrange the LPG transfer with the distributor and keep its required papers with you. Check broadband service at the destination and update mailing and banking details as needed.

Taking a Karnataka-registered vehicle

For a long-term move, ask the originating RTO and destination RTO which NOC, registration and road-tax requirements apply to your vehicle. BH-series and financed vehicles can have different requirements. Any Karnataka road-tax refund depends on eligibility and the applicable process; it is separate from transport charges.

3. Booking: The agreed date, vehicle arrangement and payment stages are written into the booking.
4. Packing day: The crew comes in the morning. A 2 BHK usually takes 5 to 7 hours. Every carton is numbered and you sign the packing list.
5. On the road: You get the driver's number and the truck number. Our coordinator updates you on WhatsApp at Hubballi, Pune and after crossing into Gujarat.
6. Delivery: Agree the arrival update and receiving contact before dispatch. Goods are unloaded, beds and tables are fixed, and cartons are opened if you want.
7. Check and sign: Tally the carton numbers with your list before you sign the delivery note. Note any damage on the same paper.

GST Invoices and Employer Transfer-Claim Documents

For a bank, PSU, government or company transfer, obtain the employer’s actual document checklist before booking. It may require the GST invoice, consignment note or LR, numbered packing list, receipts and any purchased insurance policy, with vehicle or weighment details where relevant.

Arrange those documents before dispatch. Bank of Baroda, an industrial employer or another institution may have its own approval process; the mover’s invoice alone cannot guarantee reimbursement.

Compare the complete quotation

Check inventory, packing, vehicle arrangement, unloading, taxes and optional work side by side. Record payment stages and any cancellation or waiting terms, and keep receipts. A low headline price can exclude work that another quotation includes.

Transit Cover, Damage Records and Delayed Possession

Transit insurance is optional. If you buy it, read the issued policy for the premium, declared value, covered risks, exclusions, deductible and reporting deadline. A transport quotation does not establish free cover or a fixed payout.

Photograph valuable items before packing. At delivery, match the inventory, note visible damage on the receipt and inform the booking team promptly. Keep the LR, item list and photographs for any policy assessment.
