The district’s own description places Jammu city on a low hillock on the bank of the Tawi, with the Shivalik hills looking over the northern plains. In practical terms, some buildings sit on slopes or in narrow lanes, and others sit on wide roads. Nothing about the city as a whole decides this, only your address does.
