Packers and Movers Gurgaon to Agra: Route Plan, Charges and Delivery Timing
Agarwal (ALPM) helps plan household, office and vehicle moves from Gurgaon to Agra. Budget about Rs 14,500–23,500 for a 2 BHK as an indicative guide, with roughly 195–240 km by road depending on the selected route. Allow for packing, road travel and Agra unloading access separately; a dedicated move can be planned over 1–2 days, subject to inventory, vehicle availability and both addresses.

Gurgaon to Agra moving: the short answer
Gurgaon to Agra is roughly 195 to 240 km by the mapped alternatives below. A complete home move also needs packing, loading, a permitted truck stop and time to unload at the new address.
- Distance: about 195 to 240 km by road. Google Maps showed 195 km on NH44, 197 km on SH28 plus NH44 and 238 km on the Yamuna Expressway when Gurugram to Agra was checked on 17 October 2026.
- Road time: plan 4 to 6 hours after the truck leaves, not the 3h43 to 4h27 that a car shows on the map.
- Delivery window: allow an indicative 1 to 2 days from pickup to unloading for a dedicated move, or 2 to 4 days for a shared arrangement including consolidation. Confirm available departures and your actual delivery window before booking.
- Budget guide: a few items from about Rs 5,500; a 1BHK Rs 8,500–18,500; a 2BHK Rs 14,500–23,500; and a 3BHK Rs 22,500–32,500. These are indicative guides, not a fixed ALPM tariff.
Your final quote depends on the inventory, the vehicle mode and the access at both addresses.
Gurgaon to Agra shifting charges for a household
Use the table below to set a budget before you ask for quotes. The ranges are market-based planning guides for this route. Your written quote will be based on your actual inventory, the mode you choose and the access at both ends.
| Move size | Indicative range | What decides where you fall |
|---|---|---|
| Few items | Rs 5,500 to Rs 8,500 | Item list and whether the load travels shared or alone |
| 1BHK | Rs 8,500 to Rs 18,500 | Furniture volume, appliance count, shared or dedicated mode |
| 2BHK | Rs 14,500 to Rs 23,500 | Dismantling work, packing scope, Agra access |
| 3BHK | Rs 22,500 to Rs 32,500 | Truck size, crew size, floors and lift access |
| 4BHK or villa | Assessed after inventory | Vehicle size, crew size, possible second day |
The 1BHK range is wide on purpose. A compact inventory and flexible shared departure may reduce the cost; more furniture, special handling or an exclusive vehicle can raise it. Compare the same inventory and mode across estimates.
What moves the price
- Shared or dedicated: a dedicated truck costs more but reserves the vehicle for you.
- Floors and lift: carrying down four floors without a goods lift adds labour.
- Packing scope: full packing by the crew costs more than customer-packed boxes.
- Dismantling: identify which beds, wardrobes or modular units need safe dismantling and reassembly.
- Agra access: if the truck cannot reach the door, check whether a transfer or longer carry is included or additional.
- Date: month-end and weekend slots are usually busier, so ask what flexibility saves.
Ask every mover to say in writing what the number includes: packing material, loading, road, tolls, unloading and unpacking. Mixed assumptions are the main reason two quotes for the same flat look far apart.
NH44 or Yamuna Expressway: choosing the route
Gurgaon and Agra are connected by more than one sensible road. This is what Google Maps listed for Gurugram to Agra on 17 October 2026, with the car time it displayed.
| Option | Distance | Car time on map | What it means for a loaded truck |
|---|---|---|---|
| NH44 | 195 km | 3h 43m | Shortest of these mapped alternatives. Confirm suitability for the actual truck and delivery entrance. |
| SH28 plus NH44 | 197 km | 4h 27m | Similar mapped distance with a different approach; assess the pickup location and current road conditions. |
| Yamuna Expressway | 238 km | 3h 55m | About 43 km longer than the NH44 alternative. Compare the approach to your destination, vehicle permissions and toll treatment. |
Map time is not truck time
These are car journey estimates, not moving-truck delivery commitments. They exclude your packing and unloading and may not cover the goods vehicle’s speed, planned breaks, entry conditions or delivery gate wait. For planning, use 4 to 6 hours of road after the truck leaves your gate, then adjust for the date and the vehicle. Confirm what the quoted travel window covers.
How the route actually gets chosen
The route is settled after both endpoints are known. A pickup near Manesar or Sohna Road starts from a different place than one in DLF Phase 4 or Civil Lines, and an Agra address on Fatehabad Road is approached differently from one in Sikandra. You will see NH19 used as a label for the Delhi to Agra corridor in some sources. Labels differ between sources, so check the live map for your two exact pins instead of relying on a highway number. The Yamuna Expressway is not automatically the answer, and neither is the shortest line.
What ALPM can arrange on this route
ALPM handles household and office goods between Gurgaon and Agra. What is included on your move is written in the quote, because mode, crew and availability are agreed for each job.
- House shifting: packing, loading, road transport and unloading in Agra. Ask whether unpacking and furniture reassembly are inside the price or listed separately.
- Office relocation: desks, chairs, cabinets, files and IT equipment. Label items by workstation and photograph cable layouts; your IT contact should handle backup, disconnection, configuration and testing. Servers and sensitive IT goods should have a written handling note.
- Car transport: assessed case by case, covering your model, the carrier type and where pickup and handover happen.
- Bike transport: coordinated as its own line or alongside a household load, depending on your date and mode.
- Storage: request an assessed holding arrangement if your Agra home is not ready; confirm availability, location, handling and redelivery terms before dispatch.
- Part load: a few items with no need for a full truck, with a longer and less predictable delivery window.

Agra receiving guide: where the truck can actually stop
Agra is not one delivery condition. The points below are questions to ask about your own address. Confirm the actual approach and building rules rather than assuming one condition applies throughout a locality.
Sikandra, Shastripuram and Bodla
Ask for the exact gate and the last turning the truck can take. Societies and plotted streets can differ within a few hundred metres, so send a pin for the entrance, not the middle of the locality.
Dayalbagh and Kamla Nagar
The main question is lane width and where the truck can wait. If it must halt on the main road, the goods may need to be carried or moved to a smaller vehicle, and that should be priced before the date.
Sadar and Cantt
Entry into controlled areas can depend on the authority at the gate and on the vehicle type. Confirm whether a goods vehicle is allowed at all, and what paperwork or timing the gate expects.
Tajganj and Fatehabad Road
Residential flats, hotel rooms and commercial units have different receiving rules. Ask the building manager for the permitted loading point, the permitted hours and whether a lift can be used for goods.
Wherever you are going, tell the mover the building type, floor, lift situation and who will be present to receive.
Agra receiving decision record: arrival is not permission
Truck arrival and permission to unload are two separate events. A truck can reach Agra on schedule and still wait hours for a gate, a guard or a lift. Write down the decisions below before booking so both sides know who does what and what it costs.
| Decision | What to confirm | Effect on the plan |
|---|---|---|
| Building permission | Written or messaged approval for the date and hours, plus any deposit or lift booking | If missing, the truck may wait and the move may slip a day |
| Truck stop point | Exact gate, nearest legal halt and whether the vehicle size is accepted | If the full truck cannot enter, the transfer decision applies |
| Vehicle transfer | Whether goods move to a smaller vehicle and who pays for it | Confirm availability, handling time and whether the transfer is included or additional |
| Carry distance | Rough distance from the stop point to the door, and floors without a lift | Adds labour time and may need extra crew |
| Receiver on site | Name and phone number of the person who will accept the goods | Lets the crew coordinate arrival and the receiving check |
| Cut-off time | The latest completion time for unloading, placement and any agreed reassembly | Feeds directly into the same-day calculation |
Any society deposit or movement fee is a building requirement; record who pays it and whether it sits outside the mover’s estimate. A transfer or a long carry is a scope item. If it is not written in the quote, ask for it to be added or declined.
Same day moving from Gurgaon to Agra: a two-clock check
A same-day move is possible in some cases, but two clocks run together. The move clock covers packing, loading, road and unloading. The destination clock is the moving window your Agra building allows; confirm whether all unloading and placement must finish before it closes. Here is how to test your date.
The move clock
- Pack and load: 3 to 5 hours as an illustrative household allowance, less for a small prepared load
- Road after dispatch: 4 to 6 hours
- Unloading and placement: 2 to 3 hours
Added together, that is 9 to 14 hours from the first box to the last item placed.
The destination clock
Latest start time equals the destination completion cut-off minus the total move time. Suppose the Agra building requires all unloading and placement to finish by 6:00 PM. Your Gurgaon building must also permit packing and loading at the proposed start time.
- Fast case, 9 hours: start by 9:00 AM
- Middle case, 11.5 hours (4 + 5 + 2.5): start by 6:30 AM
- Slow case, 14 hours: start by 4:00 AM, which is rarely realistic
Take a 7:00 AM start. Loading ends between 10:00 AM and 12:00 noon. Arrival falls between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Unloading finishes between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM. With a 6:00 PM cut-off, only the quicker combinations work.
In practice, a small prepared load that leaves early, with Agra access agreed in advance, can finish in one day. For a full 2BHK or larger, allow for a one-to-two-day plan and confirm whether unloading falls on the following morning. These are planning figures, not a promised time, and add time for any long breaks, traffic incidents or access wait that the actual plan requires.
Re-run the two clocks if fog or vehicle directions change departure
If a fog warning or current road advisory affects your selected NH44 or Yamuna Expressway journey, ask the operator for a revised safe dispatch and road allowance before relying on the same-day calculation. Check current NCR air-quality directions for the actual allocated goods vehicle and whether its planned route enters Delhi; repeat that check if the vehicle changes. A booking or a society pass does not settle road permission.
Put the revised figures into the two-clock check rather than treating an earlier packing start as a way to recover every delay. If arrival plus unloading and placement will pass the Agra completion cut-off, compare a different pair of building slots or accepted next-morning unloading before loading begins. Confirm where the goods will wait, who has custody, any waiting charge and the new receiver appointment. Next-day unloading needs its own agreement; it is not an automatic free extension of the same-day plan.
Gurgaon pickup process
Gurgaon addresses vary a lot: a DLF tower with a goods lift, a Sohna Road builder floor, a Palam Vihar plot, a Civil Lines house or a unit in Manesar. Give the actual pin for each pickup, not just the sector, because crew travel, parking and carry distance depend on it.
- Share your inventory: a room-by-room list or a short video, including heavy, fragile and dismantle-needed items.
- Confirm pickup access: truck parking, goods lift booking, society move-out hours and any deposit.
- Agree the scope in writing: packing, dismantling, loading, road, unloading, unpacking, and whether tolls are inside the price.
- Prepare the home: defrost the fridge, drain the washing machine and keep valuables and documents with you.
- Walk through at loading: count cartons, note existing marks on furniture and check that nothing is left behind.
Packing fragile and heavy household items
Even on a shorter intercity route, handling needs as much attention as the drive. Items get lifted, stacked, slid or carried a long way. Pack with the carry in mind.
- Glass and crockery: wrap individually, stand cartons upright, fill gaps so nothing rattles and mark the top.
- TVs and monitors: use suitable original packaging if available; otherwise assess screen cushioning and an appropriate box or crate, following manufacturer transport instructions.
- Fridge and washing machine: drain, secure loose parts and use any manufacturer-specified transit fixings, and check the maker's advice on waiting before switching on.
- Beds, wardrobes and sofas: protect corners and surfaces, and keep screws in a labelled bag linked to the item number, without adhesive on a delicate finish.
- Mattresses and soft items: cover them to keep dust off.
- Heavy or unusual items such as safes, gym equipment, glass tops or a piano: tell the mover early. They may need extra crew or a specialist crate priced separately.
- Perishable food, gas cylinders and flammables: keep them out of the household load. Discuss plants separately for prior acceptance; carry cash, jewellery and important documents yourself.
Label cartons by destination room and keep a short list of what is where. It makes the Agra receiving check and room placement easier.

An illustrative cost, counted once
This is a planning example. It is not a completed job and not an invoice. Take a 2BHK on its own truck, moving from a Gurgaon pickup to an Agra flat where the truck can only stop at the gate.
| Line | Illustrative amount | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Move line: standard packing, loading, road, tolls, unloading | Rs 19,000 | Inside the 2BHK guide of Rs 14,500 to Rs 23,500, each item counted once |
| Access line: small vehicle transfer from gate to building | Rs 2,000 | Assumed amount for an available, permitted transfer agreed in the quote |
| Subtotal before GST and optional cover | Rs 21,000 | Sum of the two lines above |
| Check outside the subtotal: applicable tax, selected transit cover, specialist crates and technician work; record any building deposit separately | Shown separately | Only if not already inside the move line |
Tolls are where totals go wrong. If one quote says the toll is inside the move line, do not add it again. If another quote shows a lower move line with the toll listed separately, say Rs 17,500 plus a Rs 1,500 toll line, the total is the same Rs 19,000. The Rs 1,500 is a placeholder to show the arithmetic, not a toll rate. Packing material works the same way: it is inside the move line when the quote says so, and listed once when it is not. Compare totals, not headline numbers.
Car and bike transport: price and handover
| Vehicle | Indicative range | Check before booking |
|---|---|---|
| Bike | Rs 3,500 to Rs 5,500 | Whether it travels alone or inside a household load, and where pickup happens |
| Hatchback | Rs 7,500 to Rs 11,000 | Carrier type, pickup point and handover point |
| Sedan or compact SUV | Rs 9,500 to Rs 14,000 | Carrier type, pickup point and handover point |
| Luxury, EV or non-running vehicle | Assessed | Ground clearance, charging, loading method and condition |
These are indicative guides for budgeting on this route. The final quotation depends on the model, the mode and the collection and handover points.
If one car quote is far below the rest, ask what it covers. A very low figure may be for a different mode, or may end at a transport point rather than your door in Agra. Ask whether the carrier is open or closed, whether pickup and handover are at your door and what condition record is made at loading. At handover, take photos, note the odometer reading, remove valuables and follow the carrier’s written fuel or EV preparation instructions. ALPM assesses each vehicle and agrees the mode before confirming.
Why ALPM, and how to choose a mover
ALPM is AGARWAL LOGISTICS PACKERS AND MOVERS, GST registered under 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, with its registered location at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad, Telangana. When you enquire directly, you deal with a named business, an itemised inventory and a quote built around scope. Vehicle, crew and availability for a Gurgaon pickup are confirmed move by move rather than assumed.
Gurugram to Agra movers differ widely in what their quotes cover. Use this checklist with any of them.
- Is the business named, with a GST number you can check on the invoice?
- Is the quote itemised by inventory instead of a single number over the phone?
- Does it say what is inside: packing material, loading, tolls, unloading and unpacking?
- Does it state shared or dedicated mode and the expected date window?
- Who handles the Agra stop point and any transfer, and who pays for it?
- What updates will you get after dispatch, and from whom?
- Does the name on the invoice match the business you spoke to?
Insurance, documents and storage
Discuss transit cover before booking. It is optional and priced separately when the quote says so. Ask what it covers (loss, theft, accident damage, breakage), what it excludes, what declared value it is based on and how a claim is raised. Nothing on this page assumes cover is included unless your written quote says so. Do not accept a percentage figure without reading the terms.
Documents to keep ready
- Confirm the identification and address details the operator needs for your goods and authorised receiver
- A signed inventory list with a note of any existing damage
- The written quote and the GST invoice from the named business
- Any move-out and move-in permissions required by the two buildings
- For a vehicle: RC copy, insurance copy and keys. For office goods: an asset list.
Storage
If possession of your Agra home is delayed, ask for a storage request. Get the location, who handles the goods, how you can retrieve them and the per-day or per-month terms in writing. Storage means extra handling, so label cartons and photograph high-value items before they go in.
