Packers and Movers from Goa to Delhi
A Goa to Delhi move has a road reference of roughly 1,900–2,000 km. A 2 BHK planning guide is Rs. 28,000–38,000 shared or Rs. 42,000–55,000 dedicated, with agreed standard packing, loading, transport and unloading. Allow roughly 4–6 days on the road after dedicated dispatch; a shared-load guide is 7–10 days from pickup to delivery, including consolidation. Confirm the full calendar, payable scope and Delhi receiving window before booking.

Goa to Delhi distance by road
For this long-distance move, the road reference helps you budget and plan your receiving date. On Google Maps driving references checked on 17 October 2026, selected passenger-car routes between the two cities showed the figures in the table below. These are city-to-city planning references for a car, not a trip itinerary for a loaded goods vehicle.
| Route label | Distance | Indicated car driving time |
|---|---|---|
| NE4 | 1,923 km | About 32 hours |
| NE4 and NH48 | 1,978 km | About 40 hours |
| NH52 | 1,901 km | About 33 hours |
In plain terms, plan for around 1,900 - 2,000 km. Your own figure varies depending on where in Goa the vehicle loads (Panaji, Margao, Mapusa, Vasco and Porvorim are not the same starting point) and where in Delhi or NCR it unloads.
How the loaded vehicle’s route is planned
A goods vehicle chooses its path based on its type, the load, weather, road works, driver rest and the dispatch day. For that reason we do not promise one corridor or one set of stops. What matters to you is the written dispatch plan, the confirmed delivery window and who you can reach while the vehicle is on the road.
Use the distance above to understand why this is priced as a long-haul interstate move, with fuel, driver time and vehicle return all part of the picture, and then ask for a quote that is based on your own inventory and exact addresses.
How long a Goa to Delhi move takes, stage by stage
One number rarely tells the whole story on a 1,900 km route, because different parts of the move run on different clocks. The table breaks the move into stages so you can see what decides each part.
| Stage | What happens | What decides the time |
|---|---|---|
| Assessment and quote | You share an inventory and addresses, and we assess by video or visit | How complete your inventory is and how quickly you reply |
| Packing | Items are packed and labelled with a package count | Assessed from the inventory. It is not automatically one day |
| Loading and dispatch | Goods are loaded, checked against the count and dispatched | Mode, other loads in a shared arrangement, and access at your Goa building |
| Road leg | The vehicle travels to the Delhi or NCR area | Vehicle, weather, road conditions, driver rest and any applicable restrictions |
| Delhi receiving | Unloading at the building and placement | Building receiving window, lift, receiver availability and vehicle eligibility on the day |
Two timing bases, not to be mixed
For a dedicated truck, we plan the road leg at typically 4 - 6 days counted from the day the vehicle actually leaves Goa, and only if the dispatch conditions are met. For a shared load, the indicative figure is 7 - 10 days counted from pickup to delivery, because that figure includes consolidation and loading of other goods before the vehicle departs.
These two figures start from different points, so setting 4 - 6 beside 7 - 10 and calling one faster is misleading unless you also compare when each one starts counting. Confirm both the starting point for each estimate and the full packing-to-unloading window for your dates.
As a purely illustrative example, if a dedicated truck were to leave on a Monday, a 4 - 6 day road leg would point to arrival between Friday and Sunday, before the Delhi receiving checks are applied. The actual dates, including the whole window from packing to unloading, are confirmed in writing before you book.
Goa to Delhi packers and movers charges by home size
The table below gives planning guides for household moves from Goa to Delhi. Use them to budget for the agreed standard packing, loading, transport and unloading scope. They are indicative ranges, with the actual price set after your inventory, addresses and mode are assessed.
| Home size | Shared load guide | Dedicated truck guide |
|---|---|---|
| 1 BHK | Rs. 22,000 - Rs. 28,000 | Rs. 32,000 - Rs. 40,000 |
| 2 BHK | Rs. 28,000 - Rs. 38,000 | Rs. 42,000 - Rs. 55,000 |
| 3 BHK | Rs. 38,000 - Rs. 48,000 | Rs. 55,000 - Rs. 70,000 |
| 4 BHK or villa (assessed) | Rs. 48,000 - Rs. 65,000 | Rs. 70,000 - Rs. 95,000 |
Standard packing materials and packing labour are already part of these guides. Please do not add a separate packing amount on top, or you will count the same work twice. Packing is reflected in the guide, and the quote shows it once.
What moves a quote up or down
- The actual volume of goods, including bulky furniture, appliances and the number of cartons.
- The mode you choose, shared or dedicated.
- Floor, lift availability and distance from the vehicle at both ends.
- Fragile or special items that need extra protection.
- The exact Delhi or NCR endpoint, because an NCR city is quoted as its own endpoint.
- Your preferred dates and how flexible you can be.
What the written quote should state once
Standard agreed packing, loading, transport and unloading should be listed as the core scope. Then fuel, tolls, applicable tax, optional cover, access or technician charges and any agreed holding should each appear once, either as included or as additional, in the payable figure. If any of these is unclear, ask before you pay an advance.
Packing your household and preparing the Goa pickup
Record tall pieces before they become anonymous packages
Once surfaces are covered, several tall pieces can look similar. The wrapped furniture in this photo makes a clear item reference useful from pickup through delivery.
For Goa to Delhi shifting, photograph each important piece before packing and give its finished package a readable number. Add dimensions for anything bulky. Keep shelves, panels and fittings linked on the inventory, and agree which furniture work is included at each address.
Give the Delhi receiver the final list before dispatch. At delivery, check the set of packages and their visible condition before labels are removed or assembly starts.
On a route this long, packing quality matters more than speed. The aim is for each item to arrive in the condition it left, and for you to be able to prove what was sent.
Furniture
Beds, wardrobes, tables and sofas are protected with blankets or wraps and edge protection, and disassembled where that helps. Screws and fittings are bagged and labelled with the piece they belong to. Wooden and leather items need to be dry before wrapping, because wrapping a damp piece only traps the moisture.
Appliances and electronics
Refrigerators, washing machines, televisions, air conditioners and similar items should be prepared the way the manufacturer recommends. Where an item needs a qualified technician, such as an air conditioner needing dismantling or gas handling, that service is arranged and priced separately in the written quote, not assumed as part of general packing.
Fragile items and kitchen
Glassware, crockery, mirrors and decor are wrapped individually and packed in cartons with a clear fragile marking. Heavy items such as books go into smaller cartons so the boxes stay manageable.
Dry items before sealing
Goa’s humidity can leave clothes, bedding, books and cushions slightly damp, particularly in the monsoon months. Dry them properly before they are sealed, and keep damp items out of sealed cartons.
Goa pickup details to settle early
- Furnished rentals: note which furniture and appliances belong to the owner or landlord and which are yours. List only the goods authorised to move; mark landlord-owned pieces that stay behind.
- Building access: floor, lift, parking space for a large vehicle, distance from the door to the vehicle, and any society move-out permission or timing.
- Physical package count: a dismantled bed and several sets of cartons can produce more physical packages than item-list entries. The count of actual packages, with a label or number on each, should be recorded at loading and matched at delivery.
- Handover record: ask that the package count and visible condition are noted when the goods are loaded.
How long packing takes is assessed from your inventory and access. It is not automatically a single day, and the quote should show the packing and loading dates you can rely on.
Moving only a few items from Goa to Delhi
Not every move is a full home. Students, professionals who have taken a furnished flat in Delhi, and people who are sending only a bed, a fridge or some cartons can use a few-item move that is priced by what is actually sent.
We do not publish a separate per-item rate, because it depends on the number of cartons, the size of any large piece, the access at both ends and the mode. For a handful of cartons and one or two bulky items, a shared load is usually the practical route. If the list is closer to a small flat, the 1 BHK guide above is the nearest planning reference.
How to keep a few-item move economical
- List every carton and large piece, with approximate sizes for furniture.
- Leave behind or sell items that cost more to move than to replace, such as cheap plastic furniture.
- Keep valuables, medicines, original documents and essential electronics with you.
- Decide whether you want items packed by us or already boxed, and say so before the quote.
- Confirm that the Delhi address can receive goods on the planned day, because a few items still need a receiver.
The timing basis is the same as for a shared load: an indicative 7 - 10 days from pickup to delivery that depends on consolidation, confirmed in a window before you book.
Office relocation from Goa to Delhi
An office move has more moving parts than a home move, mainly because other people and systems depend on it. A written plan identifies who releases each asset, how it is labelled and who receives it.
Authorised release of assets
Before anything leaves your Goa premises, the company should name who is authorised to release assets and sign off the list. Equipment that is leased or owned by another party may need the lessor’s consent. We work from the asset list that your authorised person approves.
Named IT disconnect and reconnect
Servers, networking equipment, phones and workstations should be disconnected by a named person at your company or your IT vendor in Goa, and reconnected by a named person in Delhi. We pack, label and move the equipment, and place it where you indicate, but configuration of systems and cabling is the job of your IT contact.
Packing and labelling
- Workstations are labelled by desk or person so setup in Delhi is quick.
- Files and records go in numbered, sealed cartons with a list kept by your office.
- Fragile and high-value equipment is packed separately and noted in the package count.
Building permissions at both ends
Commercial buildings often have specific hours, lift bookings and security procedures for large moves. Confirm them for the Goa building and for the Delhi or NCR building before you fix the date.
Heavy machinery, chemicals and unusual commercial loads need separate assessment and acceptance. An office quote is based on a walkthrough, a video or a detailed list, and covers the mode, the dates and the scope of unpacking and placement in writing.
Car and bike shifting from Goa to Delhi
A car or bike can be booked alongside household goods or separately. Confirm the carrier arrangement and its own collection and handover calendar.
| Vehicle category | Planning guide |
|---|---|
| Bike up to 150cc | Rs. 6,000 - Rs. 8,500 |
| Larger bike | Rs. 8,500 - Rs. 12,000 |
| Hatchback car | Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000 |
| Sedan or SUV | Rs. 20,000 - Rs. 28,000 |
These are category guides. They do not automatically include a crate, an enclosed carrier or an exclusive vehicle. The exact method and price are confirmed after we know the make and model and the mode we can accept for it.
What we assess before accepting a vehicle
- The exact model and condition, including electric vehicles, non-running vehicles and modified vehicles.
- The mode that suits it, and whether that mode is available for your dates.
- Preparation as required by the manufacturer or the carrier. There is no universal rule on draining fuel or disconnecting batteries, so we follow what applies to your vehicle.
A separate arrival calendar
Do not assume your car or bike reaches Delhi on the same day as your household goods. Vehicles can follow their own schedule, so ask for a separate handover date, decide who will receive the vehicle and where, and inspect it at handover with photos. Record existing marks, the odometer, fuel or battery charge and the key handed over at pickup, then compare the condition at delivery. Keep a spare key separately.
Papers to keep ready
Keep the registration certificate, your insurance details and an identity proof ready. If the vehicle is under a loan, check what the lender requires. Also read your own motor policy to understand what it says about transit.
Delhi and NCR address details that change your quote
Delhi is a large city, and an address that sounds like Delhi can actually be elsewhere in the National Capital Region. The more exactly we know the receiving address, the more accurately we can plan.
Delhi or NCR: a separate decision
Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad are not Delhi. Each is a separately confirmed NCR endpoint with its own quote, and they do not share a single Delhi tariff. Tell us the exact city and building when you ask for a price.
Dwarka needs more than the name
For Dwarka, give the sector, pocket, flat number and the gate you want the vehicle to use. Dwarka Expressway is a road corridor, not an address, and a project described as being on it may be in a different part of NCR. We confirm the actual municipal location before quoting.
| Locality | What to confirm about the actual building |
|---|---|
| Dwarka | Sector, pocket, flat number, gate and society rules |
| Saket and Vasant Kunj | Entrance, gate, parking space for a large vehicle, lift and receiving hours |
| Rohini | Sector, society or independent house, and who will receive the goods |
| Karol Bagh | Entrance used for unloading, access to the building and floor |
| Mayur Vihar | Phase or pocket, gate, lift and whether the vehicle can reach the door |
We do not assume that any of these areas has narrow lanes or a ban. What matters is the actual building: its entrance, gate rules, parking, lift and receiving hours. Please ask your society or building manager and share the answers with us before dispatch.
Government quarters and builder floors: settle the receiving brief
An allotted government house. For accommodation managed through e-Sampada, allotment, technical occupation and physical occupation are separate steps. Before booking dispatch from Goa, confirm when you can actually open the allotted Delhi quarter and receive furniture there. Give the operator the confirmed block, house, floor, usable goods gate and receiver; a transfer order or allotment letter is not an unloading appointment. Ask the responsible housing office which access arrangements apply to the premises, then have the operator confirm the vehicle and crew arrangements against those requirements.
If possession is still unconfirmed, compare moving the pickup date with an explicitly accepted holding and redelivery arrangement before loading. Keep the dedicated truck’s after-dispatch road guide separate from the shared load’s pickup-to-delivery window when making that decision. If the allotted quarter changes, replace the old gate pin and access measurements rather than assuming that a similar house type has the same unloading path.
A builder floor reached by stairs. If your Delhi address has no usable goods lift, send photos of the staircase turns and landings along with the packed measurements of your largest sofa, fridge and wardrobe panels. Compare the complete carry path, not just the front door. Agree any dismantling and the person responsible for reassembly before the quote is finalised. A piece that cannot pass needs a separately assessed handling plan or a decision to leave it out of the Goa inventory; balcony lifting is never assumed. Record that decision in the receiving worksheet so a roadside arrival does not become an unresolved furniture-access job.
A three-check Delhi receiving plan before dispatch
A truck reaching Delhi is not the same as being able to unload. A mismatch between the vehicle’s arrival and the building’s receiving hours can leave goods waiting. We therefore ask for three separate checks, because passing one does not mean passing the others.
Check 1: the exact endpoint
Confirm whether the address is inside Delhi or in another NCR city, and which gate or entrance is used. This decides the quote, the access conditions and which local rules apply.
Check 2: vehicle eligibility and dispatch-day rules
The goods vehicle that actually carries your load needs to be eligible for entry on the day, and traffic and air-quality instructions in force at that time apply as well. These are different questions from each other. Delhi and NCR have had emission-standard based conditions for goods vehicles registered elsewhere, and air-quality measures can tighten or change them at short notice. Because rules and instructions change, we do not print fixed hours or cut-off dates on this page. Our transport coordinator checks the actual vehicle and the current instructions on the dispatch day. We also do not assume that a particular fuel type or emission class is always allowed, and a vehicle suitable under one rule can still face another restriction.
Check 3: society gate, lift and receiver timings
Many societies allow goods vehicles and lift use only within set hours, and may need a gate pass, a deposit or advance intimation. Confirm the timing and obtain it in writing if you can.
Receiving-window worksheet
| Item | Who confirms | What to record |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle eligibility and arrival plan | Transport coordinator at ALPM | Vehicle assigned, dispatch-day check and expected arrival window |
| Building receiving window, gate and lift | Receiver or building manager | Allowed hours, gate pass, lift booking and parking |
| Alternate receiver and date | You and the receiver | Name, phone and a second possible date |
| If needed: waiting, holding or smaller-vehicle transfer | Agreed in writing with ALPM | Physical package IDs and count, condition, custody, duration and the charge |
An illustrative planning case
This is a planning example only, not a completed job. Suppose a dedicated truck for a 3 BHK is expected to reach the Delhi area at a time when the society’s receiving and lift window has already closed for the day. Before loading in Goa, we ask for the society’s window and a backup receiver, and confirm which vehicle is allowed and what access plan applies. If the expected arrival still falls outside the window, we revise the planned arrival, or agree written waiting or holding terms and charges, before the vehicle leaves. We do not rely on parking the vehicle overnight wherever convenient or on any free warehouse. The point is to fix the timing problem in advance rather than discover it at the gate.
Why choose ALPM for a Goa to Delhi move
For a Goa to Delhi move, check the company identity, agreed work and named contacts at pickup and delivery.
- A real registered identity. The trade name is Agarwal Logistics Packers and Movers, also known as Agarwal (ALPM) Packers and Movers. The business is GST registered under 36FDRPM0957B1ZC, and its trademark registration number is 7901417. The registered address is at Old Bowenpally, Secunderabad.
- Direct enquiry. You discuss the move with ALPM itself, rather than through a listing or bidding page.
- A scope that follows your inventory and access. The quote is built from what you are actually moving, the mode, and the real access at both ends.
- Specialist crating or holding only when assessed and agreed. If an item needs special protection, or goods need to be held for a period, the terms are written before you commit.
Confirm who attends the Goa pickup, who coordinates delivery and which contact provides dispatch and arrival updates. Keep these details with the inventory, payable quote and Delhi receiving plan.
How to compare Goa to Delhi mover quotes properly
Price ranges on directories and aggregator pages are often generic grids that cover many routes and do not describe a particular Goa to Delhi tariff. To compare quotes fairly, put them on the same footing: the same inventory, the same mode, the same pickup and delivery addresses.
| Question | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Is this shared or dedicated? | The two modes differ in price and in timing |
| What does the figure include? | Packing, loading, transport and unloading should be stated, along with fuel, tolls and tax |
| When does the timing start counting? | From pickup or from actual dispatch gives different numbers |
| Is the destination Delhi or an NCR city? | NCR endpoints are quoted separately |
| Is cover optional and priced separately? | You should be able to see the cost and the terms |
| Who attends at each end? | You should know who is accountable on the day |
| What happens if the building cannot receive on arrival? | Waiting, holding or re-timing terms should be written down |
| How is the package count recorded? | It is your basis for checking delivery |
A low number that leaves out unloading, fuel or applicable tax, or that does not say what happens at the Delhi end, cannot be compared fairly with a fuller quote. Ask each mover to put the answers to these questions in writing.
How a Goa to Delhi move with ALPM works
- Share your inventory and addresses. Tell us the Goa pickup address, the exact Delhi or NCR address, your preferred dates and anything unusual such as vehicles, antiques or large appliances.
- Assessment. We review the inventory by video or visit, and ask about floors, lift, parking and distances at both ends.
- Written quote. It names the mode, the scope, the payable figure, anything additional, and the date window.
- Confirm dates and Goa access. Agree the packing and loading dates, and settle society permissions and vehicle space at the Goa building.
- Packing and loading. Items are packed and labelled, and the physical package count is recorded when loading is complete.
- Dispatch-day checks. The transport coordinator checks the actual vehicle and the current instructions before the vehicle leaves.
- Delhi receiving plan. The receiving window, receiver and alternate details are agreed before dispatch and rechecked near arrival.
- Delivery and handover. Goods are unloaded, placed where you indicate, checked against the package count, and any damage is noted at the time.
You can pause at any step and ask for details, and a good test of any mover is whether they are willing to answer them before you pay an advance.
Payment, cancellation, optional cover, claims and documents
Payment and tax
The payment schedule, meaning how much is paid in advance and when the balance is due, should be written in your quote. Ask for receipts for each payment and for an invoice. Where tax applies, the quote or invoice should show it clearly, and if your employer reimburses relocation costs, ask what invoice details they require before you book.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Ask what notice is needed, and whether any charge applies once materials are arranged or a vehicle is booked. Having this written avoids disagreement later.
Optional cover
Ask about optional transit cover availability and its separately stated premium. If you want it, ask for the amount, the declared value it is based on, the issuer, reporting period, excess, policy terms and exclusions, and the policy document. No cover should be assumed to apply unless it is shown in writing.
Claims and damage
- Note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork for the specific package, and photograph it at once.
- Keep your inventory and package count.
- Raise the matter in writing within the period stated in the terms.
- For cover that you bought, follow that policy’s own claim steps.
Documents to keep ready
- Identity and address proof, and the inventory.
- For vehicles: registration certificate, insurance details and any lender consent if the vehicle is under a loan.
- For offices: an authorisation letter and the approved asset list.
- Any permission letters that your housing society, employer or an authority actually requires. Check these with them directly, and do not assume that one document applies to every move.
Common mistakes and a final checklist
Common mistakes on a Goa to Delhi move
- Choosing on the lowest number without checking what it includes.
- Comparing 4 - 6 days with 7 - 10 days without checking where each starts counting.
- Adding a separate packing cost to a guide that already includes standard packing.
- Treating a Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad or Ghaziabad address as if it were Delhi.
- Giving only the area name for Dwarka and not the sector, pocket, flat and gate.
- Not asking the Delhi building about gate, lift and receiving hours.
- Assuming a car or bike will arrive with the household goods.
- Packing damp clothes, bedding or books in Goa.
- Skipping the physical package count and relying only on an inventory list.
Final checklist before you book
- Inventory complete, including furniture sizes and appliances.
- Mode chosen, shared or dedicated, and the timing basis understood.
- Written quote that states inclusions and additions once.
- Exact Delhi or NCR address, with sector, pocket and gate where relevant.
- Building receiving window, lift and alternate receiver noted.
- Vehicle booking and separate arrival date, if you are moving a car or bike.
- Optional cover decision made, with the policy document if you choose it.
- Employer or office paperwork confirmed.
- Dates for the whole window agreed in writing.
